Greetings fellows fans of AOT!
I am super excited to have you all along on this journey with me! I was introduced to this amazing anime only about half a year ago, but I have become absolutely smitten by the story, characters and artwork. It has quickly topped my list as my favorite anime and I am super excited to be able to start writing my own FanFiction for this incredible fandom.
I am currently also writing FanFictions for One Piece and The Hobbit, so updates for this particular story will be a few months apart. Please be patient with me.
In lieu of an official first chapter as I am still in the process of writing it, this will be more of an intro into what I have in store for my story. As a heads up, I will also be changing most of the main character's ages and birth years to coincide closer with the age of my OC. I will go more into detail about that when I upload the first official full length chapter. Enjoy!

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN ATTACK ON TITAN, ONLY MY OC :)
For as long as the residents of Paradis Island have remembered, they have always been subjected to the horrors of the Titans. Standing between two and fifteen meters tall (six to forty-five feet), they looked very humanlike in nature, but that couldn't have been further from the truth. These were creatures that seemed to have no mind of their own; always filled with a thirst for human blood and destruction. The day they first appeared was a complete bloodbath as they tore through the residents of the island without abandon; forcing the survivors to cower behind the three enclosed walls of Maria, Rose and Sina.
Even after so many years of co-existing, not much at all was known about these beings. Due to their wild and unpredictable nature, it was basically impossible to observe them in their habitat, let alone capture one. This did not stop humans from trying however; and throughout the years they did whatever was necessary to not only learn what they could about the Titans, but also find ways to combat them. Gear was designed that allowed the humans to attach to and soar around the monstrous creatures, while also giving them freedom of movement to use specially made blades to deal a killing blow to the nape.
Three Military Branches were soon created to enact some form of order for the people within the walls. The Military Police, indicated by their crest of a dark green horse with a white mane and horn, are the best of the best soldiers and therefore they primarily reside within Wall Sina. They are tasked with protecting the King and Royals from harm as well as acting as law enforcement within all three walls. The Garrison Regiment is the largest of the three and is identified by their red rose insignia. They are in charge of protecting the walls from Titans as well as keeping order within the districts. The final branch is the Scout Regiment or Survey Corps. They are the smallest of the three branches as many of their members die in service to the land. They are identified by the blue and white interlaced wings often referred to as the "Wings of Freedom". They are in charge of expeditions outside the walls and territory expansion as well as gathering information on the world outside the walls and residing Titans. It is thanks to this group of soldiers that the civilians and royals within the walls know anything at all about the Titans. However, even with all of the information that they had gathered in the century of fighting the Titans, the humans within the walls were still being slaughtered by the dozens. The Titans were a plague to their livelihood and the fear that they would all one day be set upon by these monsters kept many away from actually doing anything against them.
Unfortunately for the residents of Paradis Island, their all-consuming fear of the Titans blinded them from acknowledging any of the other threats that could be found just outside their tall walls. Across the sea from them many other dangers lay hidden in wait, but the worst threat of them all was already crippling them from within their own walls; a lack of knowledge. The residents of Paradis Island had little to no knowledge of the Titans that had nearly wiped them from existence, so it is no surprise that they knew next to nothing of the Descendants of Ymir, the Nine Titans, Marley or even other nations besides their own. There is however, one occurrence that both the Eldians and Marleyans know very little about: The Rebirth of Eir.
Eir was a powerful Goddess that perished around the time of Ymir Fritz, but over the years her incredible power was forgotten as the Titans came to the forefront. Those that did remember her hid the knowledge in the old texts that resided in Marley's library as well as within the Church of the Walls. Eir had been blessed with the ability to use her own life force to heal others, no matter the severity of the injury. Some had even claimed that she had the ability to bring back those on the very brink of death. Before she died, Eir vowed that in order to protect humanity from the wrath and overwhelming power of the Titans, a portion of her power would be reborn in another once every century at the peak of a Total Solar Eclipse; the day on which she herself had been born.
One such person was born on the 31st of October in the year 829 as the only child of the Military Police Commander. Her name is Alessia Rose Dok and this is her story.
TO BE CONTINUED...
What kind of person is Alessia Dok? What will the extent of her powers be? How will she fit into the original AOT story? Stay tuned!
