Outbreak Chapter 1: Author's Note, a pokémon fanfic

A/N: This is one of two stories with the same backstory. A horror-apocalyptic version and an apocalyptic version. This is the horror-apocalyptic version. In this, there will be gore, character deaths, deaths of pokemon, and etc. There is going to be a lot of horror aspects so reader discretion is advised.

Backstory: A secret government facility has been experimenting on a virus. It was a way to make pokemon stronger. It's first few subjects had little to no changes, but one subject... it changed... it mutated into a monster. It was locked up, the rest of that virus sample were also locked up. But someone broke in, and stole the virus. They tried to flee in a different part of the facility, but ended up freeing and getting killed by the monster. What's even worse, the virus went through the air ducts into the rest of the facility. There weren't a lot of pokemon in the facility, but there were a lot of humans, who are also mutated by the virus. Enter Matthew, a leader of a special task force assigned to clear the facility of all infected and rescue any survivors before the virus escapes.

Note that OCs are accepted(for the time being), as I still need characters, but beware that your OC may die. If you wish to have your OC in this story, please fill out the following forum. Personality: Quirky and weird, creative but gets lost in thought, likes to explore and gather things for his shop, loves to socialize.

Special attribution: Black diamond on forehead(maintains it no matter which form he's in). Wears a green bandanna with orange triangle pattern.

I don't own Pokemon, but this story idea, the info for Diamond, and some characters are owned by me. Some characters used might be owned by others(Will say whom when used). Any use of this idea, Diamond and his info, and other characters without my knowledge AND permission or their respective owners knowledge and permission is a violated offence and will be reported immediately.
