KawaiiCutie12: So um...as far as my Lion King fics go, I still have some work to do, but chaps will be up eventually. However, after rewatching one of my childhood shows, I thought of this little oneshot.
Quick little announcement: I'll be more active on my wattpad (kawaii_afrorican), since I'm trying to build that up; basically, whatever fics I decide not to put on here, there's a 80% chance it'll be there.
If you guys do decide to check it out, just a quick warning that the pairing on my newest fic is Hibbles...(:
Opposite Attraction:
She wasn't sure what it was.
Or why she willingly followed in the first place.
Maybe she was lonely. Maybe she was truly naive.
But she couldn't deny that he was an interesting individual, despite being the evilest of evil. An ironic title, considering he'd been kind enough to let her stay the night.
Right now, she lied on his bed, while he showered. The two had just finished watching a movie, and Him made a beeline to lather himself up, much to the blue-eyed puff's absolute amusement.
She had grown quite obsessed with his pink, fluffy comforter(1), and it took everything in her to not pick at it.
As she waited for him, her mind wandered back to when he first approached her when she was five, to the now seventeen year old's recent interaction; it was a week or so after summer break began. She had ran out in the middle of the night, angered after her sisters yelled at her over her lack of commitment to crime-fighting. He approached her in the form of a cat, leading her into a dark alley. Initially, she'd been shocked, angered, and even fearful that he was going to kill her right then and there.
Instead...he offered to take her back to his place, claiming that it wouldn't be worth the effort to fight her then. She'd been doing it for quite some time now, and while she'd never admit it to her family...
She'd grown to like him. Whether it was still platonic, or possibly romantic, she wasn't too sure yet.
Her sisters had yet to figure out where she'd been sneaking off. If they knew, they'd for sure-
"Ahh, done at last. I sure hope I didn't keep you waiting for too long."
Smiling, she turned to him; she grinned even more, seeing his natural look.
"Like what you see?" he teased.
Blushing up a storm, she turned away.
He turned away, laughing at her embarrassment. "Oh, Bubbles, you know you make my job at teasing you oh so easy."
She couldn't help the small giggle that she let slip out, and he soon lied down next to her.
"Ah, this was a great end to the week," Him said aloud, mostly to himself.
"Yeah, I had a fun night," Bubbles agreed.
"I don't think I've ever eaten that much ice cream in all of my lifetime," Him voiced, think back to earlier. "It's a miracle I haven't exploded."
"Well, if you were made of sugar like me, you'd have nothing to worry about," Bubbles teased.
Him placed his head in a claw. "Good grief, your bad eating habits are going to ruin my figure."
Bubbles playfully swatted him. "Shut it, you'll be fine, your Infernal Majesty."
Him rolled his eyes; he almost regretted telling her his real name, since she loved to use it against him.
The two lied there in the silence, staring up at the ceiling. With no warning, Him began snickering. Not even a second later, they turned into full-blown laughs.
Bubbles turned to him, baffled by the demon's laughs. "What's so funny?"
Wiping an eye, he turned to Bubbles. "Oh, I was merely imagining what would happen if your sisters showed up. The sheer emotion on their face."
Bubbles thought about it, and soon found herself snickering as well.
"They'd be so pissed," she managed to get out.
Soon, the two were dying of laughter. With Blossom's crazy theories and Buttercup's temper...oh gosh, that've been comical.
Their laughter came to an end, and Bubbles let out a long yawn.
Him rose a neatly groomed eyebrow. "Sleepy, are we?"
Bubbles nodded, and Him stretched his arms out while letting out a yawn of his own.
"I suppose it's wise we turn ourselves in for the night," he agreed, "we've got ourselves a weekend to enjoy."
"Damn right!" Bubbles cheered.
Chuckling, Him turned out the night. Turning away, he moved to one side of the bed.
"Sweet dreams, Bubsy," he sleepily voiced.
Bubbles shifted beneath the covers on the other side. "Sweet dreams, Infernal Majesty."
Her giggles slipped when she felt him kick her, and the two fell alseep not too long after.
I guess Blossom was wrong...opposites can attract.
...I've really got to watch my figure.
KawaiiCutie12: Yeah...little oneshot; more of a promo for my wattpad. I was debating on posting this, since people like to bitch and moan, but at the end of the day, it's MY account, snd I'll ship what I wanna.
1: So...if you look up "Him's bedroom ppg", a picture of his room will show up. Whether it's fanart or from a comic, I'm not sure.
