CHAPTER 1

"W-what?" Guy asked again.

"I-I didn't mean….it's just that it's the truth Guy. Sometimes you're really embarrassing to be with".

He knew he didn't imagine the murmurs he was hearing. Or the stares.

"Well I'm sorry for being an embarrassment" he played it off with a smile but it really hurt. "Well I'll see you tomorrow".

"Guy wait" Kakashi called but for the first time he ignored his rival and best friend.

The stares were still on him. Normally he didn't care for that type of thing, but now having Kakashi of all people say that to him out of nowhere really hurt. When he was out of the school gates he ran home. He was pretty athletic so he ran and he stopped when he was close to his neighborhood.

Why did Kakashi say that to him?

He could never do that to his rival. Was it because he was loud? Too loud for an Omega. Was it his hair? His dad cut his hair himself and to him he looked good so why would he care what anyone else thought? Was it his green jumpsuit? He just didn't get why Kakashi would say that. In public of all places where most of the school saw.

He didn't know why it hurt so much. Was it because they'd been friends for so long and it never bothered him before? Could Kakashi no longer be his rival because he was an omega now?

His thoughts screeched to a halt as the tires of a moving truck slowed to a halt and that was able to get his attention.

This was new. Someone was moving into the house next to them.

Curiosity got the best of him. And they were going to be neighbors anyway so he had to go say hello before bringing a gift later on.

He approached looking at all the movers, but no sign of the owner yet.

"Who do we have here?"

Guy looked up to the front porch and he saw a very pale kid just lounging on a swing chair. With the length of his legs he was pretty tall.

"Checking me out omega?" he chuckled. "I don't blame you".

"I wasn't" he denied. "You just have them out there and might I had that it's a pleasing sight my friend. Very youthful".

"I've only been here for a few seconds and I have a friend lucky me".

"I'm Maito Guy" he said striking a pose which made him laugh and that also made him laugh too. He didn't feel the entire brunt of what happened earlier.

"And tell me Maito Guy" he sat up. "Why are you so sad?"

"I'm not" he denied.

"Don't lie to another one like you. We Omegas read each other like an open book".

"You're an omega?" he asked casually.

"Most people don't really notice until they see my boobs" and he sat up.

"I see what you mean" he said staring too.

"So tell me why you're sad" he urged.

"My rival said something and it really hurt for some reason".

"What did he say?" he leaned closer.

"He said I'm embarrassing to be with" he sighed not really wanting to remember the whole scene.

"I've been called worse so I understand" he said dismissively. "What school do you go to?"

"Konoah High" he replied.

"Guess we're going to be school mates and I'm going to see this rival of yours".

"GUY!" he heard his name.

"My dad needs me. I guess I'll see you later".

"Obviously" he grinned showing his really sharp looking teeth.

'Really unique' Guy thought. "I never got your name" he said.

"I'm Kisame. Hoshikage Kisame" he supplied. "See you around Maito Guy".

"You too".
