Bane sees someone across Dr. Crane's Kangaroo Court, his body makes decisions before his mind can process, his loyalty to Talia will be tested. Selina Kyle and Batman are determined to destroy Bane while he asks himself questions he never thought he'd ask. The story summary boxes never give me enough space to adequately summarize in the manner I'd like.

This whole story idea was brought to life with writer BatmanBane's help, read her stories, she's spectacular.

This story follows the storyline of TDKR and takes a sharp, near U-turn in the scene at the courthouse when Bane gestures towards "Talia" as she is awaiting "judgement," in Crane's pseudo-courtroom after being rounded up. I do take some pretty cavalier liberties by molding the scene to get where I want, but it's mostly accurate up to that point.

In the film, there is a woman who can be glimpsed the best at the 2:03:10 & 2:03:19 mark. She is sitting closer to the base of Crane's bench. She looks like she has blonde hair and a knit cap. From far away I imagine her in the way I present her here.

BatmanBane told me to watch TDKR again and find a thread to grasp onto, I found a strand I'm going to start unraveling.

There is an abundance of trigger warnings, consensual and nonconsensual sex, drug use, torture, language, and I'm sure I'm forgetting something that will upset just about everyone. I don't mean to diminish feelings as I am a super-sensitive, over-emotional, deeply depressive, near-constantly suffering and chronically melancholic person but sometimes even I'm surprised at what offends people. The biggest surprise for me is on the MPAA ratings that now actually list "smoking" as a warning in the same pool with fucking, rape, and multiple murders.
