It had only been a few days since the Nine tails had attacked the village and Orochimaru had returned, making sure to keep to the shadows the Snake Sannin was intrigued by what had occurred in his old village.

As he walked through the streets he heard talk of Minato's death and his child.

Orochimaru thought 'so Minato had a child, a child of the Uzumaki that would make an intriguing test subject.' Orochimaru then met up with his informant in the village Kabuto.

Orochimaru then said to Kabuto "so where is the brat."

Kabuto then said to Orochimaru "he is in the Orphanage, the same one I was held in."

Orochimaru then said, "good work Kabuto, this will be useful."

Kabuto then asked, "what do you plan to do with the child."

Orochimaru then told Kabuto "He would make a great vessel, from what my visit to Uzushiogakure has found their founder claims to be the child of Asura, I think I would like to test that."

Orochimaru then waited for the night to begin so he could begin the kidnapping.

As the day passed Orochimaru tried to listen to how the village was coping after the attack.

From what he was hearing the civilians were blaming the child for the disastrous incident. Orochimaru thought 'guess they will thank me for taking him off of their hands.

Orochimaru as night began to approach headed toward the Orphanage, walking through the empty halls of the rundown building, as very little funding went to children that the village would rather forget about.

Orochimaru found the room with the child, it was surrounded with anbu who Orochimaru took down with a myriad of forbidden Jutsu, after that Orochimaru picked up the child and made his way to the entrance of the village. Before he could leave however he was stopped by a chunin Hyuga, the chunin said "stop there, Lord Hokage said to protect the child and I will not let you take him."

Orochimaru then smiled and said, "stop me, just try."

The Hyuga then tried to use the gentle fist on Orochimaru who avoided the attack and used an immobilizing Jutsu.

Orochimaru then said, "you could still be useful." Orochimaru then left the village quickly to avoid any more attacks.

Sound village, Southern hideout

Orochimaru put Naruto into a tube filled with sustenance liquid.

Kabuto then approached Orochimaru and asked, "Why did you take him."

Orochimaru then told him "this child is of Kushina and Minato, he will have many possible abilities as a member of Uzumaki clan, he also if my visit to Uzushiogakure taught me anything is that he is the direct descendant of Asura the first of this clan and the supposed son of the sage of six paths, he would make a perfect test subject."

Orochimaru then brought over the still-living Hyuga chunin.

Orochimaru then tore off the headband of the immobilized chunin and saw a caged bird seal. The chunin then spoke and said, "you will never be able to take my byakugan." Orochimaru then sighed and said, "that may have been true in the past but in Uzushiogakure I found a scroll that could undo any seal including a birdcage seal."

The chunin then had terror in his eyes as Orochimaru destroyed the seal and took his eyes out, placed them in a jar, and killed him.

Five years later

After a few years, Naruto had begun to mature into a child Orochimaru experimented on him.

Naruto had his eyes replaced with the Hyuga's Byakugan and Orochimaru began testing with his chakra, seeing how to awaken his chakra chains, after many painful experiments he was able to succeed.

Orochimaru then used the newly gotten blood from Kimimaro to give him the Kekkei Genkai of the Kaguya clan, after this experiment his hair turned white and he got the signature dots of the clan with pale skin.

Orochimaru then used Hashirama cells to give him possibly wood release, however, due to his age Orochimaru feared it might kill him so he gave it in a small dose meaning that he would have to naturally awaken it if he would get it at all.

Orochimaru also gave him some of Guren's blood, Orochimaru hoped he would get her crystal release and he used the blood from a recently deceased Yuki to give him ice release.

Orochimaru had a twisted joy in experimenting on this brat, this was the child of the one who took the Hokage seat from him, he also enjoyed the abundance of Chakra the Uzumaki and the tailed beast within him. Orochimaru had only left the experimentation once.

This was to procure Uchiha DNA to add the possibility of him activating that dojutsu. Orochimaru felt a small amount of joy in the despair that his old Sensei must feel losing this young child to his student, he also felt a small amount of pity, as he and Naruto were both orphans and lost their families at a young age, however, Orochimaru thought

'Unlike him, I had talents and am gifted'. Orochimaru then continued his "work".

Stone Village, Tsuchikage office

Onoki had summoned the two stone Jinchuriki(four tails, and five tails) Jinchuriki and a member of the stone village explosion corp.

Onoki said, "According to the reports of my spies, the jinchuriki of the nine tails has been taken by the former Sannin Orochimaru, I want you to locate this jinchuriki and bring him to the village, we could use him."

The two jinchuriki nodded, then the member of the explosion corp, Deidara spoke up.

"Alright old man, we will get him that child must be very important to get him, whatever."

The three of them then went to the roof and Deidara created three clay birds.

Deidara then asked, "So what do you think about this, you know you two being jinchuriki." Han then said, "I don't really have any feelings about this, he is from another village." Roshi then agreed with Han as they left.

Three weeks later

Guren had been assigned to guard Naruto, for a long time she paid no attention in the past however she had gotten curious and decided to see what was so special to Orochimaru that he had decided to make him a vessel over her.

She entered the room he was put in, she saw a small child with white eyes, almost Pupiless but with a small tint of blue, he wore a shirt similar to the ones given to many of the test subjects and he had the same hair and red dots as kimimaro.

Naruto said, "hello your that lady who has been watching me, hi what is your name."

She then scoffed and said, "my name is Guren, so you've seen me."

Naruto then said, "yeah, though you've made sure not to get very close."

Guren then said, "how did you know I was here."

Naruto then said, "Well I've found that when I concentrate very hard I can see some kind of lines, with dots on them."

Guren was curious by this and said "can you show me this."

Naruto then demonstrated, activating byakugan, veins began to show on his face.

Guren then said "whoa you have a byakugan!" she then realized he probably doesn't know what that is and said, "well the byakugan where the eyes can see the chakra points in your body, the Hyuga have a technique which allows them to shut them down, making it so the people can't use Jutsu."

After hearing this Naruto went wide-eyed, he asked her "can you teach me that."

Guren then said, "no only members of the Hyuga clan know how to use it, so I can't teach you." Naruto was disappointed, Guren then remembered Orochimaru telling her that he gave Naruto her Kekkei Genkai.

She then told him "hey I have my own power that you can learn, it is called crystal release." Guren then demonstrated by creating a wall out of crystal, exciting Naruto.

Guren then explained to Naruto how to create it.

Guren then decided to care for Naruto, she believed this would be very helpful for Orochimaru.

Guren enjoyed this, she had not felt joy since she had worked with Orochimaru. For a long time, she felt aimless, unable to really do anything, but Naruto could be a way for her to find joy in her life.
One month later

Naruto had been for that month been taught by Guren in very basic facts, like what chakra was and what taijutsu, genjutsu, and ninjutsu was.

Naruto was taught by her E rank jutsu and what shinobi were.

Naruto was getting up one morning when he heard an explosion go off in his room.

Out of where the explosion had come from a man with yellow hair and mouths on his hand came out. Naruto yelled "WHO ARE YOU?" the man then glared at him and put him on the back of a clay bird the man then flew off before anyone could stop them.

Naruto yelled, "LET ME GO, TAKE ME HOME."

Deidara then said, "shut up Jinchuuriki, we are taking you to the stone."

Naruto then tried to calm down and asked "who are you two." Han then said, "I am Han, us two are jinchuriki of the stone village, this was why it was so easy to find you."

Naruto then remembered what Guren had told him about what a jinchuuriki is.

Naruto then said, "wait do you mean I am a Jinchuriki." Roshi then said, "right on the mark, and if what our beasts said is true yours is the nine tails." Naruto contemplating this spent the rest of the flight in silence.

Two days later, Hidden stone village

Naruto had been taken to the stone by these three and was now in the Tsuchikage office very scared. Onoki looked at him and said, "so you're the jinchuriki of the Nine tails, Deidara you watch over the child."

Deidara protested "why do I need to care for this child."

Onoki grumbled and said, "because I am your Tsuchikage, now leave!"

Deidara grumbled as he left, grabbing Naruto by the arm.

As they left the room Han asked Onoki "what do you plan to do with this child, lord Tsuchikage." Onoki Responded by saying "I plan to ransom him back to Konoha, do you have any problems with this plan Han." Han Then said "no Lord Tsuchikage."

Meanwhile, as this was going on Deidara was making his clay bombs in his hut at the outskirts of the village with naruto just standing in the background.

Naruto asked Deidara "what are you doing with that clay."

Deidara said, "I am making my art." Naruto then asked him "what is your art?"

Deidara then took Naruto outside and threw a bomb and said "Katsu" and the clay exploded. Naruto was amazed and asked Deidara "how do you do that!"

Deidara explained, "I use the Iwa kinjutsu to turn clay into bombs that can move on its own." Naruto then asked, "is it a Kekkei Genkai that you use to make explosions."

Deidara was a little surprised that he knew what a Kekkei Genkai is but told him it is.

Naruto was a little sad because he realized he couldn't do it.

Deidara then asked Naruto "so what about you makes you so special Orochimaru would want you." Naruto then responded "well

Guren told me I have a few Kekkei Genkai myself." Deidara then asked "which ones."

Naruto said "well Guren said I have crystal release and Ice release."

Deidara then said, "well that is pretty impressive."

Naruto remembered Guren said to not allow anyone who he doesn't trust to know he has a Byakugan and he didn't trust Deidara yet.

Naruto then said, "but I am not supposed to do that kind of stuff until I am older, so is there anything fun you can do in this village."

Deidara then thought 'maybe it will be interesting to see how people react to this brat' and said "well there is usually something to do in town."

Deidara then created one of his clay birds and flew them down there.

When they got down there Naruto was amazed by all the people down there, as being cramped in a lab for most of his life didn't give him a lot of experience with people.

When they got down there they heard someone yell "DEIDARA YOU BETTER NOT B HERE TO CAUSE TROUBLE." Naruto then looked and saw that it came from a girl about his age with black hair and she was accompanied by a boy her age with brown hair which covered one eye on the standard Iwa garb and on the back of his shirt was the kanji for metal. Naruto then asked Deidara "So do you know these people Deidara." The girl then said, "yeah he knows us he won't stop pestering my Grandpa of going on more dangerous missions, Deidara where did you get this kid."

Deidara then rolled his eyes and said

"Lord Tsuchikage had me take this kid who was kidnapped by Orochimaru, he said he was going to negotiate him to the leaf and his name is Naruto." Korotsuchi then said, "Hello Naruto, I am Korotsuchi and this is Hiroshi."

Then Hiroshi, the boy with her then said "Greetings, you know Naruto you look a lot like a member of the Kaguya clan with those dots and that hair and those eyes look a bit like the Hyuga's."

Naruto then said, "what, no I don't have those eyes, hehe."

Naruto was having trouble keeping a secret from them because they were so nice to him. Naruto then said "so is there anywhere cool you could take me."

Kurotsuchi then said, "yeah, follow me."

Naruto then followed them as they took Naruto to the many places of Iwa, under the supervision of Deidara, this ended with them going to the Kamizuru clan compound.

They were having Dango in Kurotsuchi's House,

Naruto asked, "So Hiroshi, do you have a clan."

Hiroshi then said, "yes, I am from the Kinzoku clan, we have the Kekkei Genkai of metal release, it allows us to give our skin and anything we touch the properties of the metal."

Kurosuchi then said, "yeah and they are a pain in the ass, they are so stuck up and obsessed with tradition." Hiroshi then sighed and said, "what do you expect we are one of the founding clans of the stone, honestly we are almost as bad as the Hyuga."

Naruto then asked "what is wrong with the Hyuga"

Hiroshi then said, "well besides being obsessed with tradition, they also have split the clan into branches and main families and give the branch family seals on their head that if they die it destroys their eyes and if they want to use it to cause them pain, it's just barbaric."

Hearing this scared Naruto a bit and he asked "why doesn't the village force them to stop." Hiroshi then said "no one is ready to go against one of the greatest clans in the leaf." Deidara came from inside and said "Naruto time to leave. "

Naruto then left with Deidara to go back to Deidara's home.

That night as Naruto was going to sleep he appeared in what appeared to be a sewer Naruto looked up and saw a cage with paper seals covering the bars.

As Naruto approached the cage a gigantic fox appeared and said "well my jailer seems to have finally appeared, your appearance reminds me of Her." Naruto then fell back and said, "you must be the Kyuubi, wait who is Her."

The fox then said, "Nevermind, I bet you will be wanting my chakra."

Naruto then said "I don't want to steal it from you, and is there something else I can call you besides Kyuubi, do you have a name that I can use"

Kurama then was taken aback by this thinking 'the other two didn't even think I had a name, this kid may be interesting.' "My name is Kurama, feel honored. I don't give many the honor of knowing my name," Kurama said.

Naruto then laughed and said "thanks Kurama." Kurama then said, "what is so funny Kid."

Naruto then said, "it is just you are always said to be so scary but you don't seem different than anyone else I've met."

Kurama then said, "whatever kid now go away you are boring me."

After Kurama said this Naruto woke up, Deidara stared at him and said "hey get up, the old man wants you."

Konoha, Hokage Tower

Hiruzen read the letter again in front of the small council most were willing to give in, most wanted the half a decade long search to be over and

they couldn't take the stone village controlling their Jinchuuriki and leaving with none for them.

The only question was who would go on this mission

Danzo was the first one to speak up saying "I would ask this council to send three of my agents to do the transfer, I believe that they are the most skilled at the task ahead."

This was met with little excitement; a very few trusted Danzo with delicate matters and with the care of a child no less.

Tsume Inuzuka spoke up saying "Danzo no offense, but this is a delicate operation and you have shown that you are quite bad at delicate operations, I would suggest that we send Kakashi Hatake and a Hyuga I will lead."

Hiashia then spoke next "we agree to this plan, my brother Hizashi can go."

Many in the council were unopposed to this team, however, there was still one question that lingered that was addressed when

Choza said "I know no one is saying this but how will he be able to reintegrate back into the village, he may have trouble with other villagers who will view him with suspicion. How do you plan to deal with this Lord Hokage?"

Hiruzen then took a smoke from his pipe and said "the current plan is to have him be a part of the class at the academy, he will also be given an apartment to live in unless there are any changes that occur."

this was an uncontroversial choice, after this, the council dispersed and

Hiruzen thought 'finally after all these years Naruto will be returning home.'
