A/N
Hello, Guys and Gals! This is my first time publishing something to the public domain. My writing will be changing throughout this story and I want to let you know that I will try to update frequently. Let's dive into this story! Right now I don't know Elwin's last name, so I am going to give him one. I will make the chapters longer as time goes on.
Amber Ruewen was small for her age. She was 14, years old, and only 4'8. She had to put up with her dad, constantly teasing her about her height. Which was usal in the Avino Household. She had long, thick, wavy auburn hair, and turquoise eyes, like the rest of her family but her dad. Her dad, Elwin, had curly, wild brown hair and paler eyes than her.
Which made sense since she was adopted. And her family tried to pretend she did not exist. Amber often thought about how lucky she was to get placed with a man like Elwin. She was sweet and caring. Most important, he understood her. And since she moved in with him with him at Splendor Plains, she fell right in line with the father-daughter love.
Right now she was walking down the plain white walls of the level 4 wing at foxfire, trying to get to alchemy. Trying, because she had a huge migraine, and was trying to close her eyes and walk at the same time. She loved alchemy, and her mentor, Lady Galvin like her. So much as to ask for her again over the years. (She loved to say "Now there is a student who knows the difference between Ruckleberries and Callowberries!")
Though when she got there, She was hit with a wall of fury, disbelief and pure shock. Definitely not going to be in a good mood today.
"Let's do this," She told herself as she pushed open the door, and gasped.
A shredded cape lay in a bin by the floor, and burned through holes on the table. It looked like a T-Rex went through the place. She was in for quite the day.
"Stop staring at the mess and get in here. Use the other table today. You will find a card on the table. Follow those instructions, while I finish cleaning the mess." Lady Galvin instructed her.
"May I ask who did this?" She asked, setting down her stuff, grabbing the card, and disappearing into the back to reappear a moment later.
"The new prodigy. She WHIPPED the serum. It said WHAP." Lady Galvin explained with a sigh.
"Oh, gosh. Well Let's hope I don't do that." She replied, spreading out her supplies.
"Yes. Let's" Lady Galvin muttered, and Amber quietly laughed to herself.
