Hello humans Weegee1 here again with a gift I suppose it could be called though a memoriam is a better word. Memories of a childish time of innocence surrounding a table with a map, dice, paper, pencil, and tokens with nothing in mind but the joy escaping reality could bring. As time went by the friends saw each other less and less, one friend became a lawyer, another became a medical practitioner, and the last become a soldier for his country who lost himself in the sands of time. I don't own DND or any of the games mentioned in any way shape or form they are owned by their companies.

My friends and I dreamed of laying siege to entire layers of the Abyss but we knew no matter how talented our characters were or how devastatingly our attacks were we simply didn't have the numbers to win after all 4 people doesn't make an army. We were stumped until our nephews, sons, cousins, and the lawyer's daughter asked a revolutionary question, why not take things from other franchises and modify them for DnD? So I asked them what they would suggest ? Let's just say some didn't work out but those that did tipped the balance to an equal level. These are a few of the calculations that I did and I continue doing even though I am the last one left playing.

Addendum 10/30/2021 I went back through my pokemon calculations and adjusted it so the pokemon weren't so overpowered and broken. I have 4 or 5 things left to stat out. Unless anyone makes any suggestions this project of mine will be ended.

Yugioh to DND 4E Calculations

Level/ LV = monsters LV×3 for instance Red Eyes Black Dragon is LV 7 so its DnD LV would be 21 (7×3=21)

Size for monsters is calculated based on how big they would be according to 4E calculations ie a human sized monster would be in the medium size class just like a human, a child sized creature would be in the small class just like a child, etc

HP = LV × 50 for instance Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon is level 12 so it has 600 HP (12×50=600)

Initiative= ((Attack÷50)÷10) for instance Elemental Hero Neos has 2500 attack which means its initiative is 5 ((2500÷50=50÷10=5)

Perception=((Defense÷50)÷10) if number =0 it becomes 1 for instance Rogue Doll has 1000 defense so its perception would be 2 (1000÷50=20÷10=2)

AC, Fortitude, Reflex, and Will total = Defense ÷30 (÷ 10 if defense is bellow 1000 but above 600 ÷ 7 if defense is below 600) if the cards defense is 0 use 1/2 the attack score before calculations for instance Millennium Shield has a Defense of 3000 (3000÷30=100) so it has 100 points to spend in any amount on AC, Fort, Ref, or Will in any way you want though I prefer to score like the actual monster would (30 AC 35 Fort 15 Ref and 20 Will high physical defense slow reaction time and average will you never see it move in the T.V shows.)

Speed = LV × 1.5 for instance Winged Dragon Guardian of the Fortress #1 is level 4 so it has 6 speed 4×1.5=6 so it has 6 speed it can also fly so you have to choose how to divide up those 6 points you could have Speed 3 Fly 3 (hover) or Speed 2 Fly 4 (hover) you choose how to divide the monsters speed up.

VS= highest stat ÷100 for example Blue Eyes White Dragon has 3000 attack and 2500 defense so you'd use its attack because 3000 is higher than 2500 because of that its VS score is 30 (3000÷100=30) now you can assign that 30 to any VS you want vs AC for an attack against the enemy's armor, maybe vs fort to attack the enemy's body directly with a piercing attack, perhaps vs reflex to make an attack the enemy has to avoid either way set it up so the vs imitates how the monster would actually act

Damage= attack ÷100 for instance Megasonic Eye has 1500 attack so it would deal 15 damage (1500÷100=15) you can set up that damage in a variety of ways for instance 1d12 +3, 1d8+7, or any number of ways it's up to you. For monsters with 0 attack but high defense use their defense score and give them the attack block or something similar as a two or three time use per encounter action that gives them temporary damage resistance. For instance Millennium Shield has 3000 defense so it would have a damage buffer of 30 (3000÷100=30) so until it takes those 30 temporary HP as damage it is guarded from all forms of standard damage which makes it an excellent door block or meat shield.

Combat Types monsters can attack in a variety of ways but it all boils down to 2 forms of combat melee (close ranged) and ranged (attacks from a distance) try to stay true to the monster's style you won't see Flame Swordsman attacking at a distance and you won't see Dark Magician beating someone with its staff. For melee attack calculate monster size and weapon reach for ranged take the monster's LV and multiply by 2 for instance Dark Magician is LV 7 so it would have a range of 14 for its attacks.

Stats a combination of Str(strength) Dex(dexterity), Wis(wisdom), Con(constitution), Int(intelligence), and Cha(charisma) = ((Attack+Defense)÷50) if the end result would be beneath 20 then multiply by 5 for instance Dark Magician has a total of 4500 (2500 attack + 2000 defense=4500) which gives it 90 points to spend 4500÷50=90) since Dark Magician is a ranged spellcaster I focus on Wis and Int and then Cha and Dex since it while focusing little on Str and Con since it doesn't really attack at close range and it prefers to dodge attacks rather than tank them so I give it Str 5 (+0) Dex 18 (+0) Wis 22 (+0)

Con 10 (+0) Int 20 (+0) Cha 15 (+0)

You will notice that Dark Magician has no point bonus modifications to any of its stats, that is because I treat them as a blank slate with no class, race, age, or other such modifications otherwise with the 10,000 + monsters it would be hard to keep track of them all

Allignment is the same as the owner/ controller due to the fact that the cards act as an extension of their user.

Language as extensions of the user they can speak the same language though I usually don't assign them languages due to my play style being more my army vs theirs no holds bar fight to the death.

Extra rules it is best to use real life cards so you can keep track of them plus using video games for Yugioh is kind of cheap. Tribute monsters means you have to choose cards to not use as offerings for instance to use my Millennium Shield I gave up a Griggle a trade I am very happy with for fusion monsters like Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon you have to give up 3 Blue Eyes White Dragons plus their tributes for instance 3 Kuriboh and 3 Amoeba.

For ritual monsters you have to tribute monsters with a combined level equivalent to the ritual monsters level for instance Black Luster Soldier is level 8 so you can tribute 8 level 1 monsters, 2 level 4 monsters, 4 level 2 monsters, etc.

Synchro monsters use a similar system to ritual monsters you use a tuner(s) and monster(s) that make a level equivalent to the Synchro monsters level for instance Armory Arm is level 4 so you'd need a tuner and monster combination to equal a level 4 Attack Gainer is a level 1 tuner and Fortune Fairy Hu is level 3 1+3=4 which would allow you to summon Armory Arm

XYZ monsters are unique in the fact that they need multiple monsters of their own level or rather rank for instance Number 39: Utopia is a rank 4 monster that requires 2 level 4 monsters I use 2 Blazing Impachi

Link monsters take nearly everything discussed so far and throws it out the window instead they have link ranks shown by little red triangles and have very specific needs to summon it. For instance Galaxy Satellite Dragon requires 2 Dragon monsters to summon it I use 2 The Dragon Dwelling in the Cave cards. To calculate their level into DnD multiply their link score by 6 6×2=12 6 × Galaxy Satellite Dragon is link rank 2 which equals 12. I treat link monsters as having a def of 0. If they have attack boosting effects I treat them as 2 Yugioh levels per link level (the importance of which will be explained later on in the page)

I don't really use spell or trap cards due to me playing as a constantly moving wave of destruction that doesn't stop to set up defenses but with cards like negate attack I use it to halve the damage from one opponent's attack, while Mirror Force makes an opponent take damage equal to the amount of damage that they dealt to one of my creatures. Equip cards I list in the equipment section of the appropriate monster's equipment section for instance Dark Magician with Dark Pendant equipped would gain 500 points to attack to spend in the appropriate stats as well as the ability to deal 5 damage to the creature that destroys the equipped Dark Magician as a triggered action.

Monsters with effects that destroy other monsters have it as a triggered action that activates upon their destruction in the form of a critical hit on the creature that destroyed it if they are in reach for instance Man Eater Bug is reduced to 0 HP by a Goblin Shaman that is in reach in retaliation it scores an automatic critical hit dealing the full 5 damage. Monsters that can destroy multiple enemies instead deal multiple critical hits to the opponent that destroyed them as long as they are in range.

Monsters that sacrifice other allied monsters to attack or take other actions have their effect negated they just attack normally like Insect Queen for instance. Monsters that sacrifice other monsters to use their effects to damage also have their effect negates so you won't see Catapult Turtle firing Dark Magician like a dart to attack

Monsters that boost their attack/defense once or multiple times can boost them 2 times per every 4 levels for instance Aye-Iron would have an additional 800 attack points to spend for stats and such (2×400=800) it gets 2× because its level is in the four and below range while monsters in the 5-8 range would get 4× and monsters in the 9-12 range would get ×6

Monsters that sacrifice others to gain their stats such as Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord would sacrifice monsters for instance 1 of each of the normal monster pieces of Exodia and 2 Change Slime (6 monsters because it is in the 9-12 level monster range) giving it 6000 attack and 0 defense.

Monsters and cards that automatically win a duel have their effect negated

Monsters that would absorb damage like Kuriboh can target one adjacent ally and take the damage that the ally would have taken which is useful for powerful low level monsters like the Meklords.

So let's put this all together and stat out a monster

Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon LV 36

Huge Magical Beast (Dragon)

HP 600. Bloodied 300. AC 37

Fortitude 31 Reflex 29 Will 30

Initiative +9 Perception +8

Speed 6 Overland Flight 12

Standard Actions

Tetriary Actions (Force, Fire, Cold) At Will

Effect B.E.U.D makes 3 attacks against 1 target

Attack 1 melee2/ranged10 +45 vs Reflex

Hit: 1d10 +5 Cold damage

Attack 2 melee 3/ranged 15 +45 vs AC

Hit: 1d8 + 7 Force damage

Attack 3 melee 2/ranged 10 +45 vs Fortitude

Hit; 1d10 + 5 Fire damage

Str 37(+0) Dex 25(+0) Wis 18(+0)

Con 36(+0) Int 20(+0) Cha 30(+0)

Alignment: unaligned. Languages: -

As you have noticed the damage totals 45 which is the damage amount that a monster with 4500 attack would have but it's divided into 3 different parts to represent B.E.U.D having 3 heads

I also used overland flight instead of hover so that it lands after the end of its turn so it has no vulnerability to being knocked from the sky.
