Disclaimer: I don't own My Hero Academia. Also there's a really small spoiler in this story. I'm on the festival arc in the anime right now, so it'll be from before that. But like I said, it's really tiny so you should be fine :D. Also the line breaks mean time skips.
Todoroki POV
"There's a shooting star. Make a wish Shouto!" Mommy and I were outside, I was sitting on her lap watching the sky with her. I saw the shooting star fly across the sky and thought, I wish to be rescued, and for my family to be saved. I opened up my eyes and heard her ask, "Did you make your wish?" I nod and ask, "What did you wish for?" I feel her chuckle and she boops my nose. "Silly, you're not supposed to ask other people what they wish for, otherwise their wish won't come true." "Ohh, ok. Sorry." She kisses my head and we continue looking at the stars for a few minutes until I hear a, "Shouto! Get to bed we have training tomorrow!" We flinch and Mommy got up. I grab her hand and we walk back to the house together. Please grant my wish soon.
"Shouto!" I sigh softly and walk out of my room to Endeavor's office. I stop in front of his desk and say, "Yes, father?" Endeavor glances up at me and replies, "Your school has decided to have you moved to the dorms because of the amount of times that your class has been targeted. You will be moving into the dorms this week. I want to let you know that this does not mean that you are allowed to slack off on your training. I expect you to work twice as hard since I won't be there to guide your training. Is that clear?" I kept my face still as I nod and reply, "I understand father." He grunts and says, "You are dismissed." I walk out and let a small smile creep on my face. I'll finally be escaping this house.
Bakugou and I were walking back to the school after we had just finished hanging out with the kids as part of our training. I was honestly still in a bit of shock because what my father told me. After we were done with our training he walked up to me and told me that he wants to make me proud of him. I said that didn't care, but a small part of me is starting to believe that he has the capability to become a better person. I look up and see Bakugou staring back at me, "Hey." Even though he didn't ask it outright I understood what he wanted to know. I smile and kiss him on the cheek, "Yeah, I'm alright. Thank you." He glances at me one more time and replies, "Good. Now let's go. Taking care of those brats was exhausting. You want cold soba when we get back?" I incline my head, "Yeah, sounds good." I guess wishes do come true.
Author's Note: Yayyy! My first TodoBaku fic, I really enjoyed writing it and liked how the ending turned out. I wanted to write something for TodoBaku week, even though I'm kinda late. I'll probably make this a multiple chapter story so I can catch up on everything I missed. Then after I'm done writing the stories I put them in order of the days and prompts. Constructive criticism is helpful, and thanks for reading! Stay safe :D!
