Ash 10 years old POV
*BOOOM*, "PIIIIICHUUU" came a voice that was clearly hurt, that was the meteor that mom said was going to hit near Pallet Town, I need to go help that pokemon, I need to
Pichu POV
That rock came out of nowhere, I think I broke my leg, I did the only sensible thing, I screamed "HELLP"
Ash POV
I started running to where I saw the meteor fall, I needed to help the pokemon. There it was, I see the meteor, I ran at it, full speed, wanting to help the pokemon that was hurt, I needed to help it. I arrived at the meteor, I saw a weird watch, I picked it up and it latched around my right arm, I tried to get it off, but it wouldn't get off, but I could move it up and down my arm, just not off, I put it under my leave, I had a feeling bad people would try to take it, I didn't fiddle around with it more, there was a pokemon I needed to save, I ran around the meteor and saw a Pichu that was badly hurt, I picked it up with my right arm and Pichu touched the watch, suddenly a picture of a Pichu appeared, I didn't waste time running Lab, I needed to help Pichu.
At the lab
I frantically opened the door and slammed it shut, I ran to 's office knocking assistants out of the way, I didn't care, I opened up office door, Thankfully he was there, and he immediately asked "Hi Ash, what's gotten you in such a rush?", "This Pichu is hurt, can you help it?" I asked, "Oh yes, just put him here, he gestured to a bench, I put Pichu down and saw the condition Pichu was in and flicked a switch, A glass container sprung up around Pichu, hit another button, and a yellow glow surrounded Pichu, all his injures faded, but one scar that was worse than all the others, a slash across one of his eyes, it didn't heal completely, leaving a scar. Around this time Pichu woke up and the glass container disappeared back into the bench, the Pichu looked around and saw me, he jumped at me sand started hugging me, I hugged it back, "Well Ash, do you want to keep ahold of Pichu until you go on your journey, you can even take him with on the journey?" asked me, I immediately nodded, after that me and Pichu went to bed right after explaining everything to mom, she told me to keep the watch secret, but figure out how it works.
The next day
Me and Pichu were in my bedroom, trying to figure out of the watch works, "How about you try pressing it when the icon of Pichu comes on" That was also a cool thing, I could understand Pichu now, me and him figured that it was something to to with the watch, but anyways i pressed the watch when it had the Pichu icon on, a green flash was in the room for a second, then after it was done, I was a Pichu with the watches emblem on my chest, "No way, that's so cool", "Yeah it is, plus I think I know how this works", but all of a sudden my emblem on my chest started flashing red, then after a few seconds of that, a red flash was in the room for a second, then I was a human again, "Ok, I think it works by me touching a pokemon with the watch, then I will have that pokemons icon, then if I press it, I will become that pokemon, and I can understand that pokemon in human form!"
"That's cool", "Yeah it sure is, I think we should go out into the forest and Lab and touch pokemon with the watch, Then I can train with you, and that's what we did, at the end of the day, I got these forms

So yea that was a lot of pokemon, but we were exhausted, we were running around for the entire day, so when we got home, we explained to mom why we were running around the entire day, she was happy that we were doing something productive, we went to sleep not long after
The next day
So on today's agenda was to train, we went out deep into the forest to train, mom had bought a few books on what moves pokemon could learn, Type advantages, Gym leaders pokemon types, and a few cooking books so that I could learn how to cook, I read through the book last night, and prepared a few moves that Pichu could learn, for this week me and him were mastering Charge Pichu's egg move, and we were also mastering Sweet Kiss and Nuzzle while learning Mega Punch, Mega Kick, and Thunder Punch, it was pretty hard, but Pichu was a hard worker and a quick learner so we set to it
1 week later
Last week was a successful week, we had mastered all the moves we practiced, as the time to set out on my journey was only 4 weeks away, we trained like never before for this week, we were going to be learning Electric Terrain, Volt Switch, Thunder wave, Protect, Rain Dance and Swift, For other people this might have been insane, but me and Pichu trained as hard as we could, we didn't give up, we had many nights when we just practiced, no sleeping at all, we were going to do as much as we could before the deadline

We trained hard last week, very hard, and we got rewarded, Pichu evolved into Pikachu and mastered all the moves we have been training, now we only had 3 weeks until my journey started so we ramped up the training, by a lot, this weeks moves to learn was an insanely long list we were learning

Today was the day, Today is the day me and Pikachu go on our pokemon journey, we quickly sped over to 's Lab, I knocked on the door, I waited for a few minutes until it opened, had opened the door groggily, I had planned for this and gave him a 10 teaspoon of sugar tea, he always drank it to wake up, but I'd bet he just woke up and didn't have time to make, he happily accepted the tea, and gulped it down, put it by his sink and told me to follow him to the room the pokemon were in, He asked me to choose a pokemon, Charmander, Squirtle or Bulbasaur, I had thought about it the previous day and had already decided on Charmander, It wouldn't back down from our type of training, it was a Charmander, it was basically a dragon, which meant they were prideful and wouldn't back down from a challenge, sure Squirtle and Bulbasaur could do it, but I didn't want to take a pokemon who was likely not to like my type of training and force it to do that type of training
"I choose Charmander, Professer Oak."
He handed Charmander's pokemon to me and gave me a pokedex, and I headed out tapping charmander with my watch, and going out to my first adventure.
