I never thought I would end up living a normal life, at least not after everything that happened. After my first year at Hogwarts, I convinced myself I could never live "normally". I still find it hard to believe that even after being possessed by Voldemort himself, I can live a happy life. Yet here I am, the wife of the Boy-Who-Lived and a mother of three children.
"Shh," I whisper, luring the baby girl in my arms back to sleep. Lily has finally started to sleep through the night, but she decided not to tonight. I rock her back in forth in my arms. I look around the pale yellow room, and promise myself something; my children will grow up safe and happy. We live in a time of rebuilding, a time of new. We live in a time that we can shape our future.
I look down at my baby and smile. She has finally fallen asleep. Her hair is just starting to grow is already bright red.
We have lost so many loved ones because of the war, but all in the hope that our children will never have to experience the loss of war.
We will rebuild a new world for our children.
