He went over some distance and started talking on phone.
Abhijeet : Jee papers ready ho gaye ?Kab karna hai join ?
Daya : Join ?
Abhijeet took the phone aside for a minute and said " Wo mai transfer le raha hu. Cid me ye mera akhiri case hai. "
Excuse me.
He went from there.Daya was shocked after listening these words.
Shreya : Sir aap ko pata hai wo aapke liye kya maine rakhte hai. Please rok ligiye unhe.
Daya : Nahi Shreya. Use jana ho to chala jayega.

Daya : Abhijeet aisa mat karo. Tumhe hamari dost ka vasta.
Abhijeet : Tere jaise dost aur koi nahi hai Daya. Mai ja raha hu Daya. Bye.
Tears where about to fall from his eyes.
Daya : Nahi. Abhijeet mujhe chodke aise nahi ja sakta.

( Both ) Ye nahi ( took a pause ) to koi aur sahi.
( Ye scene maine insta par dekha tha. pata nahi kaunsa episode hai )
Kabhi kabar dusroon ko bhi mauka diya karo apni jaan khatre me dalne ka.
Daya : ( loudly ) Abhijeet nahi. Tum mujhe chodke nahi ja sakte.Nahi.
A loud voice of " Nahi " could be heard. He opened his eyes and saw himself on bed. He wiped the sweat covered on his forehead. He was breathing heavily. He poured water from the jug inside glass and drank it. After drinking the water , he felt better. He looked at the wall clock. The clock was showing 1 A.M. He went to sleep but woke up after some time as the same dream. He woke around 2 - 3 times. He was turning his sides every now and then.
He got up and changed his clothes. He locked his house, took out the bike and started driving to his destination.
He reached the desired place. He was about to ring the bell when he mentally reminded himself that it was late night. So he took out his keys and entered inside house. He went inside the bedroom and found the desired person sleeping on bed cozily.
He took Abhijeet ' s hand and sat beside him. He felt so protective near him. He felt sleepy. So keeping Abhijeet ' s hand as pillow he slept. The nightmares were gone and he had a peaceful sleep.
It was around 8 in morning , when the alarm rang. Daya was irritated at that alarm. He took that phone and switched off the alarm and woke up.
He was waiting for Abhijeet to wake. It was now 10 am. Still Abhijeet had not woken up. He was really tensed as Abhijeet is not a person who sleeps till 10 am. He went inside his room and started patting his cheeks but no effect. He also tried sprinkling some water on his face but the situation remained the same. He with shaky hands took his hand and was checking the pulse.
To his luck, the pulse was present but it was very low. He put Abhijeet inside car and drove towards the hospital. He somehow reached hospital. Abhijeet was taken for treatment. At the same time his phone rang.
He picked up the call without looking caller id and said " Hello. Kya hua ? "
He heard the voice of Acp pradyuman on the other side so said " Sorry sir. Maine bina dekhe hi phone utha liya tha. "
Acp pradyuman : Daya kaha ho tum ?
Daya : Hospital.
Acp pradyuman : Hua kya hai Daya ?
Daya : Sir wo Abhijeet. Pata nahi kya ho gaya hai use. Aap bas hospital aa jayiye jaldi.
Acp pradyuman : Chinta mat karo. Mai aa raha hu abhi. Tum bas address send karo.
He kept the call. Daya sent the address to the Acp pradyuman. He was roaming to and fro inside the hospital. The last night dreams scene was playing in front of his eyes.
Daya : ( to assure himself ) Nahi Abhijeet mujhe chodke nahi jayega.
His wait came to over as the doctor treating abhijeet came out. He went near him and said " Doctor Abhijeet thik hai na ? Use kuch hua to nahi ? "
Doctor : Aap pahle shant ho jayiye.
Wo abhi khatre se bahar hai.
Daya felt relaxed after hearing those words.
Doctor : Dekhiye aap please police ko bula ligiye. Ye ek sucidal attempt hai.
Hearing these words from doctor , he felt a shock. He stood there as it is. The doctor put his hand on shoulder and said " Aap thik hai ? "
Daya came back to present. He was not able to digest the fact that the person like Abhijeet who worked in cid could commit sucide kind of thing.
Daya : Doctor ye aap kya keh rahe hai ?
Doctor : Jee. Ye ek police case hai. Patient ne aapne aap ki jaan lene ki koshish ki hai.
Daya somehow managed to say " Uski jarurat nahi hai. "
He showed him his batch and said " Dekhiye mai senior inspector Daya hu cid se. Jo kuch bhi hai aap mujhe bata sakte hai. "
Doctor : Mujhe pata nahi tha ki aap ek cop hai.
Daya : Kya mai wajah jaan sakta hu ki aap ko aisa kyu lag raha hai ki ye sucide ka case hai ?
Doctor : dekhiye patient ki body me se bohot jyada amount sleeping pills mile hai. Sukr hai ki wo sahi samay par hospital pohoch gaye warna aap bhi samjhte hai.
Again a big shock wave as he didn ' t knew that Abhijeet took sleeping pills.
Doctor saw him again lost in thoughts ho he moved his hands in front of Daya.
Daya snapped out of his thoughts.
Daya : Doctor aap kuch keh rahe the ?
Doctor : Dekhiye abhi wo thik hai. Khatre ki koi baat nahi hai. Bas stomach par jo wound laga hai uska dhyan rakhna hoga. Kafi swelling thi wound par. Khair maine bandage badal diya hai.
Doctor went from the place while Daya was standing there in his pool of thoughts. He didn ' t knew when he himself sat on the bench kept. The only words which he was saying were " Abhijeet , sleeping pills "
To his luck , Acp pradyuman arrived at the hospital. He was not understanding what to do , he was just blabbering " Sir Abhijeet usne wo sleeping pills. "
Acp pradyuman : Shant ho jayo Daya.
He took Daya ' s hand in his hand and said " Jo kuch bhi hua hai wo aaram se batao. "
He started narrating all the things.
After he was done, Acp pradyuman said " What ! "
Daya : Sir agar mai sahi waqt par hospital nahi aata to . .
Acp pradyuman : Ek baat batao Aisa kabhi ho sakta hai ki jab Abhijeet ko tumhari jarurat ho aur tum uske saath na ho ?
Daya : Ho sakta hai sir. Mere wajah se hi to wo transfer le raha tha. Maine hi use akela chod diya tha.
Acp pradyuman : Akela chod diya tha. Nahi chod diya hai. Samjhe ?
Daya : Par bhi sir maine hi khud hi use na jaane kitni taane sunaye , kya kuch nahi kaha use. Wo jo mujhe har ek dard , takleef se bachata tha maine use hi kitni takleef de di.
Acp pradyuman : Tumhe is baat ka ahsas hai yahi kafi hai. Dekho ab wo thik hai. Use ye ahsas dilao ki chahe kuch bhi ho jaye tum uske saath humesha ho. Humesha wo tumhe sambhalta hai is baar tum use sambhalo.
Daya : Sleeping pills.
Acp pradyuman : Kaan keech kar puchna uske. Aisa kyu kiya usne.
Use hosh aane hi wala hi. Tab tak aapne aap ko sambhalo.
Daya : Jee sir
Acp pradyuman : Kaan keech kar puchna uske. Aisa kyu kiya usne.

Daya : Jee sir.
At the same time a nurse came outside informing about Abhijeet being conscious.
Daya : Sir Abhijeet ko hosh aa gaya hai.
Acp pradyuman : Mai rakhta hu phone.
He kept the call. Meantime the doctor also came inside room and checked him and after done with his work , came out. Daya was taking slow steps while coming inside room.
Many thoughts were running his mind.
How could he face Abhijeet ?
His own harsh words were echoing in his ears which he said to his brother which was more than friend.
His friends efforts to talk with him but how he ignored those words.
How he worked with Dcp Bajirao Singham without letting him know.
( I mean he let him know with others but if it was normal kind of situation he could have been the very first person to tell this news. )
He came to know about Abhijeet ' s transfer from his colleagues.
He was not able to digest the fact that he was taking transfer.
The moment he himself confirmed the news about his transfer.
Once again Abhijeet came in between him and bullet and got injured.
Again he gave the first priority to solve the case ignoring his health. This reminded him of his buddy ' s stubborn behavior in cid train.
Last but not least the last moment which both of them shared as he himself said Sorry to Abhijeet.
At that time Abhijeet gave a smile to him and both of them made a promise that they will not hide nothing from each other.
Daya : ( in mind ) Us waqt jo muskurahat thi uske peeche ka dard mai samjhne me nakamyab raha. Wo muskurahat jhoothi thi. Kahi na kahi mujhe lag hi raha tha ki tumne mujhe maaf nahi kiya hai.
Thodi si narazgi tumhari abhi bhi hai aur honi bhi chahiye tumhe.
Par mujhe laga ki waqt ke saath saath mai tumhe mana lunga. Mai galat sabit ho gaya.
Kya humare beech itni dooriyan aa gayi hai ki tumhe samjhne me maine galati kar di.
Mujhe phir se tumse dosti ki nayi shurvat karni hai ek naye sire se. Jaha par sirf sirf aur khushiyan hongi. Kya tum mujhe mauka doge ?
Whereas on Abhijeet ' side , he opened his eyelids and found himself in hospital. Unknowingly his eyes went towards the door in search of Daya. A nurse was setting his medicines on the table.
Abhijeet ( thinking ) : Mai yaha hospital me kaise ?
Mai to ghar par so raha tha. Pata nahi kaise to itne gehri neend kaise lag gayi ?
Nurse se puch leta hu.
Abhijeet : Excuse me.
Nurse looked towards him and said " Jee sir. "
Abhijeet : Mujhe yaha kaun laya ?
Nurse : Jee wo inspector Daya hai na wo laaye hai aapko.
Abhijeet murmured " Daya. "
The nurse was done with her stuff so she went outside.
Abhijeet ( thinking ) : Daya mujhe yaha lekar aa gaya !
Agar wo mujhe lekar aaya hai to Abhi tak milne kyu nahi aaya ?
Wait ...
He was expecting Daya to be with him. The same person who hurted him a lot from the past few days.
He decided to maintain a few distance from him as he needs some time to get the things back to normal.
At the same time Daya had reached the entrance of room in his own trance. Abhijeet saw Daya at the entrance. The moment he saw Daya he changed his expressions to the stiff. Daya also saw this change of expressions. He was feeling sad but maintained a smile on his face and sat on the stool present beside bed. Whereas Abhijeet also tried to sit by himself as he saw Daya. He was feeling pain in wound. His hand went on the wound.
Daya went forward to help him but he stopped by showing his hand and himself made comfortably sit. Daya was hurt by this kind of behaviour.
Daya : Kaise ho ?
Abhijeet : Thik hu.
A moment of silence and Abhijeet asked " Mai yaha hospital me kaise ? "
Daya : Wo tum uth nahi rahe the.
Abhijeet : Aain.
Daya : Tumne to pura plan banaya tha upar jaane ka lekin sorry meri wajah se tumhara plan fail ho gaya.
Abhijeet : ( shocked ) Ye kya keh rahe ho ?
Daya : Sahi keh raha hu. Khudkhushi karne nikle the na tum.
Abhijeet : Kya ?
Daya : Isliye to sleeping pills liye na tumne.
Abhijeet : Maine koi sleeping pills nahi liye hai.
Daya : Sach me ?
Abhijeet : Tumhe kitne saal ho gaye hai cid me kaam karte hue ?
Daya : 20 saal.
Abhijeet : Mai tumhare saath kitne saal se kaam kar raha hu ?
Daya : 19 saal.
Abhijeet : 20 saal se tum cid me kaam kar rahe ho aur lagbagh itne saal mere saath kaam kar rahe ho. Phir bhi tumhe lag raha hai ki mai khudkhushi karunga.
Daya : Iska matlab tumne sleeping pills jan bujh kar nahi liye ?
Daya ' s smile became wider whereas a frown came on his face.
Abhijeet : Itne saal saath me kaam karne ke bawjood tumhe mujhe samjh nahi sake.
Daya : Aisi baat nahi Abhijeet. Mujhe to pura yakin tha ki tum kabhi sleeping pills le nahi sakte par abhi ke halat dekhte hue.
Abhijeet showed him hand and stopped him as " Rehne do. Samjh gaya mai. "
A moment of pause when Abhijeet continued as " Mai itna bhi kamzor nahi hu ki mujhe sleeping pills ka sahara lena pade. Isse bhi jyada dukh jhele hai maine jindagi me. Ab to adat si ho gayi hai in sab ki. "
Daya realized that till now he was the same person who smiles the very next day in case where he was accused or had to listen many taunts by seniors. Behind his smile too pain was hidden of which he got a slight glimpse.
Again silence prevailed for few minutes when Daya said " Iska matlab ye tumhe marne ki sajish hai. "
Abhijeet : Ho sakta hai.
Daya : Tumhe kal raat kuch ajeeb laga ?
Abhijeet : Nahi to. Maine dinner kiya aur medicines li.
Daya : Koi aur baat ?
Abhijeet thinked for a while and said " Pata nahi kyu par medicines lene ke baad mujhe bohot jyada neend aane lagi. "
Daya : Kahi medicines me to kuch gadbad nahi hai ?
Abhijeet : Ho sakta hai.
Daya : Tumhare pass wo medicines hai ?
Abhijeet : Ghar par honge.
Daya : Mai ek baar check karva leta hu.
Abhijeet : Thik hai. Jaise hi kuch pata chale mujhe bata dena.
Again silence.
Abhijeet : ( in a low tone ) Tum mere ghar par . . .
I mean mai to apne ghar par hi tha na.
Daya remembered the last night incidents.
Daya : Wo darsal mujhe kuch kaam tha isliye subah tumhare ghar par aaya tha. Par dekha ki tum so rahe the. Maine tumhe jagane ki koshish ki magar tum uth nahi rahe the . . . .
Abhijeet : ( in a deep tone ) Jab juth bola nahi jaata to kyu bolte ho ?
Daya remained silent.
Abhijeet : Kab aaye the mere ghar ?
Daya : ( in a low tone ) Kal raat.
Abhijeet : Kuch aur bhi chupa rahe ho. Kya hua tha kal raat ?
Daya : Wo mai kal raat so raha tha tab hi maine dekha ki tum mujhe chod kar ja rahe ho.
He then downed his head.
Abhijeet : Acp sir ne mera transfer rok diya hai. Ab mai yaha hi rahunga.
Daya : Mai tumse maafi mangna chahta hu. Mujhe maaf kar do.
Abhijeet : Tum pahle hi maafi mang chuke ho.
Daya : Mujhe pata hai tumne mujhe dil se maaf nahi kiya hai.
Abhijeet : Tumne bhi to nahi kiya hai mujhe. Dekho jo kuch bhi hua hai usme sirf tumhari galati nahi hai meri bhi galati hai. Mujhe maaf kar do.
Daya : Abhi to tum mujhe mana kar rahe the maafi mangne se aur ab tum khud maafi mang rahe ho.
Abhijeet : Wo isliye kyunki taali kabhi do haath se nahi bajti.
Daya : Accha dono ne maafi mang maang li. To maafi maafi cancel.
Abhijeet : Hmm.
Both of them shared smile.
Daya : Kya sab kuch pahle jaisa nahi ho sakta ?
Abhijeet : Ho sakta hai. Agar tum chaho to.
Daya : aur tumhara kya ?
Abhijeet : Mai to humesha se hi chahta hu. Tumne jawab nahi diya.
Daya : Mai bhi yahi chahta hu. Isliye to mai aaya tha tumhare ghar tumse baat karne lekin phir . . .
Abhijeet : Samjh sakta hu mai.
Daya : Chalo ab tum aram karo. Bohot baatein ho gayi.
Abhijeet : Kya laga rakha hai aram karo.
Daya : Ab tumhari tabiyat thik nahi hai to aram to karna padega.
He then remembered something and patted his head.
Abhijeet : Ab kya hua ? Kuch bhul gaye kya ?
Daya : Ha bohot jaruri baat hai. Darsal Acp sir ne tumhe batane ke liye kaha hai ki tum do din baad join karne wale ho duty.
( thinking ) Kaise batau tumhe ki tumhare transfer orders cancel karne ke liye do din lagne wale hai.
Abhijeet ' s eyes widened at do din.
Abhijeet : Do din mai kya karunga ?
Daya : Mai hu na tumhare saath.
Abhijeet : Koi to bachalo mujhe.
Daya : Iska matlab mai tumhe pakata hu.
Abhijeet : Ye bhi puchne ki baat hai ?
Daya : To raho yaha hospital me do din.
Abhijeet : Sach me tumhare saath waqt bitane me mujhe bohot accha lagta hai. Hum dono saath me ghumenge. Please mujhe hospital nahi rehna hai.
Daya : Akhir dil ki baat aa hi gayi na juban par.
Abhijeet : Tumhe pata hai na mujhe hospital bilkul pasand nahi hai. Please nikalo yaha se.
Daya : Kam se kam aaj ke din to tumhe yaha rehna padega.
Abhijeet : Par sirf aaj ke din. Kal mujhe apne ghar jaana hai. Samjhe.
Daya : Mai ek baar baat kar leta hu doctor se. Phir dekhege.
Abhijeet : Kal mujhe discharge chahiye wo bhi kisi bhi halat me.
Daya : To tum nahi manoge na.
Their talk remained incomplete as the nurse came inside. Nurse started preparing injection.
Daya : Nurse ye injection kis liye hai ?
Nurse : Darsal ye pain killer hai. Doctor ne dene ke liye kaha hai.
Nurse then pierced injection to Abhijeet and then turned to Daya and said " Abhi patient ko aram karne digiye. Aap bahar jayiye. "
Daya : Jee bus 5 minute.
Nurse : Sirf 5 minute usse jyada nahi.
The nurse went away.
Daya : Tum aram karo. Mai nikalata hu.
Abhijeet : Tumne dekha na kis tarah se baat kar rahi thi wo nurse.
Daya : Ha. Kisi ki yaad aa gayi.
Both : Us hospital ki nurse jaha par Acp sir admit ho gaye the ilaj karne.

Both of them laughed remembering Acp pradyuman ' s condition.
At the same time nurse came inside as she listened laughing sound from inside.
Nurse : ( to Daya ) Aap abhi tak gaye nahi.
Daya : Bas nikal hi raha hu.
Nurse : ( to abhijeet ) Aur aap abhi aram kar rahe hai.
Daya : ( to Abhijeet ) Ab mai nikalta hu.
Abhijeet also bid him bye.
After Daya was gone , Abhijeet also laid down and within few minutes feeling relief he slept. Daya also came out of the hospital room.
Daya : ( thinking ) Andar jaane se pahle mai kya kya nahi soch raha tha. Bas aik kadam badhane ki der thi. Usne bhi ek kadam meri taraf badha diya.
Laga nahi tha ki itni baatein hongi. Pahle to kaam ki baatein ho gayi. Uske baad pata nahi chala ki baaton ka rukh kaise badal gaya.
Lekin chahe kuch bhi ho bohot aacha lag raha hai. Dheere dheere hi sahi sab kuch normal sa ho raha hai aur dekhna kuch hi dino me sab pahle jaisa ho jayega. Mujhe pura vishwas hai.
Ek baat hai jo abhi bhi baki hai. Abhi bhi mujhe ye pata nahi chala ki akhir tumne wo letter Shreya ko diya kyu nahi. Bhale hi tum wo baat bhul chuke ho magar mai nahi. Aisi kya wajah hai jo tum chupa rahe ho ? Maine kitni baar pucha tumse par jawab me sirf tumhari chuppi mili. Agar tum koi baat chupa rahe ho iska matlab wo badi baat hogi. Chahe jo kuch bhi ho mai wo wajah jankar hi rahunga.
He then remembered to call Acp pradyuman to inform him about condition of Abhijeet. He came in hospital parking, took out his mobile and called Acp pradyuman. Within two rings the phone was answered.
Acp pradyuman : Hello Daya. Abhijeet thik hai ?
Daya : Ha sir. Abhi wo so raha hai.
Acp pradyuman : Tumhe kuch pata chala un sleeping pills ke baare me ?
Daya : Ha sir. Abhijeet ka kehna ye hai ki kal raat usne dinner kiya aur uske baar medicines li.
Acp pradyuman : Matlab kuch bhi ajeeb baat nahi.
Daya : Sir wo Abhijeet keh raha tha ki dawai lene se use bohot gehri neend aane lag gayi.
Acp pradyuman : Iska matlab ho sakta hai ki kisne uski dawai ke saath ched chad ki ho.
Daya : Ha sir.
Acp pradyuman : Ek kaam karo tum. Abhijeet ke ghar jao aur wo medicines lekar aao. Ek baar check kar lete hai ki medicines.
Daya : Jee sir.
Acp pradyuman : Tum abhi kaha ho ?
Daya : Sir hospital ke parking me. Bas nikal hi raha hu.
Acp pradyuman : To phir bureau milte hai.
Daya : Jee sir.
Daya kept the phone and took out his car from bureau parking.
A person saw Daya leaving the hospital parking. He took out his mobile and dialled a number and said " Daya yaha se ja Chuka hai. " and kept the call.
From the hospital parking Daya drove straight to Abhijeet ' s house, entered inside house. After searching house , he found the packet of medicines. He took that packet and went to cid bureau from where they gave the medicine packet to Dr. Salunkhe for analysis.
After two to three hours Dr. Salunkhe called them.
Acp pradyuman : Ha bol Salunkhe.
Dr. Salunkhe : Boss aap logo ka andaza sahi tha.
( pointing towards the medicine bottle) Ye bahar ki sheeshi us medicine ki hai lekin andar jo dawaiyan hai wo badli gayi hai. Jo dawayian hai usme high power ki sedatives hai.
Daya : Iska matlab hume us medical store se puchna chahiye jaha se ye dawaiyan kharidi gayi hai.
Acp pradyuman : Daya iski saath bill wagare hai kya ?
Daya : Ha sir.
He showed him bill which was inside medicine bag.
Acp pradyuman : Is medical waale se puchte hai.
They went to medical shop from Abhijeet bought medicines. Looking at the cid officers , the assistant of owner started sweating.
Daya : Humne to abhi kuch pucha hi nahi phir bhi paseene aa rahe hai.
The assistant tried to run from the place but officers caught him.
Daya : Tune hi badli thi na dawa.
Assistant : Ha sahab.
Daya : Bata kyu badli dawai ?
Assistant : Mujhe Paise diye gaye the.
Daya : Paise ke liye logo ki jaan se kheloge. Bata kisne diye paise ?
The assistant remained silent.
Daya put his hand on assistant ' s neck. The assistant was choking due to grip of Daya.
Freddy : Sir please chod digiye. Mar jayega wo.
Daya left the assistant. Suddenly foam started coming from his mouth and he fall down. Assistant ' s lips started turned blue and finally he closed his eyes.
Freddy checked him and after checking got that the assistant was dead.
Freddy : Sir mar chuka hai.
Daya : Bas yahi ek admi tha jo hume asli mujrim tak pohcha sakta tha.
He called Acp pradyuman and gave him updates regarding case.
Acp pradyuman : Daya hume aur hoshiyar rehna chahiye. Ye jo koi bhi hai wo ho sakta hai phir se Abhijeet ki jaan lene ki koshish kare.
Daya : Jee sir.
Acp pradyuman remembered that Abhijeet was alone inside hospital.
Acp pradyuman : Daya is waqt Abhijeet akela hai hospital me.
Daya : Oh no ! Sir mai abhi nikalta hu.
He kept the call and went to hospital. He went in in a hurry. He went near to Abhijeet ' s room , found him sleeping peacefully.
He was standing outside the door only. At the same time a familiar figure caught his attention. The figure also saw Daya.
Whereas inside the room , a person was hiding as he saw Daya from the glass door now he came outside and started filling contents in injection. The person was done with it now. He started piercing injection in Abhijeet ' s hand. At the same time Abhijeet opened his eyes. His vision was blurry. He saw someone injecting him. He started to hold the hand of person. The person saw Abhijeet being conscious and trying to catch him. He left the injection as it is. He moved towards head side of Abhijeet. In the mean time Abhijeet was trying to get down from the bed. The person applied full force and hit Abhijeet on his head.
Abhijeet became unconscious due to hit on his head. The person now settled him on bed and he then resumed his work.
Whereas Daya was present outside the room. He saw Siddharth there.
Daya : Siddharth.
Siddharth : Arey Daya.
Daya : Tum yaha ?
Siddharth : Wo mera dost yaha par admit hai. Tum yaha ?
Daya : Wo Abhijeet yaha par hai.
Siddharth : Kya hua use ?
Daya : Wo kisine uski medicines change kar diye.
Siddharth : Kya keh rahe ho tum ? Ab kaisi hai tabiyat uski ?
Daya : Ha. Abhi thik hai. Bas milne hi aaya tha usse.
Siddharth : Accha ab mai nikalta hu.
Daya : Bye.
Siddharth : Bye.
Siddharth went from there.
Daya saw from outside that Abhijeet was sleeping. At the same time a nurse approached him and asked him to bring the required medicines. He went and brought the medicines and then went inside the room. Here in room Abhijeet started breathing restlessly.
Daya came inside room and saw Abhijeet breathing restlessly. He immediately called doctor. Doctor came and checked Abhijeet. After some time , Abhijeet ' s condition became stable.
Daya was present outside waiting for doctor to come.
Daya : ( thinking )
Mai yaha Abhijeet ke saath tha phir bhi uspar par humla hua. Koi to tha jise pata tha ki mai yaha hu. Isliye usne mere bahar jaane ka intezam kiya aur phir mauka dekhte hi ye sab.
Doctor came out after treating Abhijeet.
Daya : Doctor , Abhijeet thik to hai na ?
Doctor : Jee abhi condition stable hai.
Daya : Mai mil sakta hu usse ?
Doctor : Filhal behosh hai wo.
Daya : Kab tak hosh aayega usse ?
Doctor : Abhi 2 - 3 ghante lagenge.
Doctor went from there. At the same time , Daya ' s phone rang.
He picked up the call.
Daya : Hello sir.
Jee. Sir aap jaante hai na mai yaha hospital me hu.
Accha thik hai sir. Mai atta hu abhi.
After the call was done , Daya murmured " Ye dcp bhi na. "
Daya went from there. After 4 - 5 hours Daya came back to hospital, found Abhijeet already awoken.
Abhijeet : Daya.
Daya : No mai nahi karne wala.
Abhijeet : Please yaar. Ok agar tumne ye kaam nahi kiya to mai tumse baat nahi karunga.
Daya : Humesha yahi karte ho. Atta hu abhi tarif sunkar.
Abhijeet became happy. Daya came back after few minutes with an irritated face and said " Chalo. "
He found Abhijeet already ready.
Daya : Bohot tarif ki hai meri. Agli baar se mai ye nahi karne wala.
Abhijeet just replied in a smily face as " Dekhte hai. "
Both of them came out of hospital.
Daya : Dekho Abhi tak maine tumhari baatein maani. Ab tum meri baat manoge.
Abhijeet just gave a look like as " We will se later. "
Daya dropped Abhijeet at his house.
Daya : Ab aram karna. Badme karna jo bhi karna hai.
Abhijeet : Mai thik hu yaar.
Daya : Ha ha. Do baar humle hue hai. Marte marte bache ho.
Abhijeet : Tum jaante ho na. Ye sab normal hai humare liye.
Daya : ( teasingly ) Ha bohot normal.
Khayal rakhna. Atta hu.
Abhijeet : Tum bhi.
Abhijeet was about to get up to bid him but Daya restrained him as " Mai chala jaunga. Tum aram karo. "
Abhijeet then went inside and his room and settled on bed whereas Daya drove towards his house.
Only few minutes passed since Daya left. At that time , a sound of breaking glass came. Abhijeet looked up and found the glass of his room broken.
He went picked up the stone. He saw a paper there which was tied to stone. He took out that paper and read it.
He after reading paper started calling Daya ' s number but Daya was not picking up the phone.
Abhijeet was contiously trying Daya ' s phone but he was not picking up the call.
Abhijeet : Daya phone uthao.
He was roaming to and fro in his room and contiously dialling Daya ' s number. After few minutes , Daya picked up the phone before he could speak anything , Abhijeet started his snubbing " Kaha the tum ? Itni der kyu laga di phone uthane me ? Yaha se sidha ghar jaane ko kaha tha maine. "
After a minute Abhijeet calmed down and said " Kaha ho tum ? "
Daya : Darsal gadi kharab ho gayi thi. Bas wahi thik kar raha tha aur phone gaadi me tha. Abhi gadi thik ki aur tumhara call uthaya.
Abhijeet : Tum thik to ho na ?
Daya : Haan. Abhi baat to kar raha hu na tumse.
Abhijeet : Pakka ?
Daya : Pakka.
Abhijeet : Agar tumhe kuch bhi pareshani ho to sabse pahle mujhe hi batana.
Daya : Tumhe nahi batunga to kise bataunga.
Abhijeet : Mai aau tumhe ghar chodne ke liye ?
Daya : Nahi. Tum Abhi abhi hospital se aaye ho aram karo tum.
Abhijeet : Gaadi bhejni hai kya tumhare liye ?
Daya : Abhi chal rahi hai gaadi.
Abhijeet : Jab ghar pohoch jaao tab call kar dena.
Daya : Done.
After the call was done , Abhijeet left a sigh.
Abhijeet : Sukr hai Daya ko kuch nahi hua.
He then took a glance at that paper once again and started checking for some kind of evidence but to his bad luck there was nothing on that paper. Still he kept that paper safe place where no one was able to see it.
At the same time his phone rang.
Abhijeet : Hello Senior Inspector Abhijeet here.
Caller : Abhijeet Abhijeet Abhijeet. Tumhe kaun nahi jaanta.
Abhijeet : Apni bakwas band kar aur bata kyu phone kiya hai ?
Caller : Batata hu. Is baar to Daya bach gaya par agli baar...
A sound of boom came from the backside and the call got cut.
Abhijeet : Hello Hello.
The sound of cutting call came from the other side.
Abhijeet : Shit ! Kaat diya.
He called mobile company.
Abhijeet : Hello mujhe * * * is number ke details chahiye.
Kya private no ?
ok ok.
He kept the call.
Abhijeet : Bada chalak hai. Private no se call kiya jaanta hai untraceable hai aur kuch details bhi mil nahi sakte iske.
Ye sab kuch jo ho raha hai. wo mehaj iteefak nahi ho sakta. kuch na kuch to gadbad jarur hai.
Lagta hai mujhe aur sawdhani bartni chahiye.
He sat on bed thinking about all this. He saw his mobile blinking. It was a message from Daya that he had reached home safely. After some time he dozzed off.
The next morning arose. The door of Abhijeet ' s house opened. A person entered inside house and went directly in Abhijeet ' s bedroom. The person found Abhijeet sleeping in the half sitting position only.
A person : Kya aadmi hai ? Baithe baithe hi so gaya. Itni der to kabhi nahi sota. Tabiyat thik nahi hai. Jitne der tak aram karega utne jaldi thik hoga.
The person shifted Abhijeet on bed carefully so that Abhijeet ' s sleep does not get disturbed and covered him a blanket.
He was going back to kitchen when his eyes saw a broken glass of Abhijeet ' s bedroom.
A person : Ye kaanch kaise tut gaya ? Kal raat ko to sab thik tha.
He took a glance at it and decided to ask Abhijeet about it.
A while later Abhijeet woke up. He took a glance at the clock and saw time as 9 am.
Abhijeet : Oh no. 9 baj gaye.
He woke up with a jiffy ignoring pain in wound. He became fresh and was going to kitchen to prepare a coffee for himself but felt someone else presence in the house. He took his gun with him and started moving towards the kitchen.
Abhijeet : Hands up. Peeche mudo.
He pointed the gun at the person. The person turned around.
Abhijeet : Tum ?
Daya : Are ab to gun rakh do.
Abhijeet kept the gun.
Daya : Tumhari tabiyat to thik hai na ?
Abhijeet showed his eyes.
Daya : Nahi matlab subah subah gun dikhake kahi maarne ka irada to nahi hai.
Daya didn ' t got any reaction from Abhijeet.
Daya : Are majak kar raha hu yaar.
Both of them started laughing.
Abhijeet : Ab tum subah subah aise ghar ke andar aaoge to aur kya hoga ?
Mujhe thodi na pata tha ki tum ho.
Daya : Ye bhi sahi hai. Tumhara na cop mode humesha on rahta hai.
Abhijeet : Tum to aise bol rahe ho jaisa tumhara nahi hota.
Daya : Bas har baat jawab hai tumhare pass. Ab chalo coffee thandi ho rahi hai.
Both of them were having coffee.
Daya : Abhijeet.
Abhijeet : Hmm.
Daya : Wo tumhare room ka kaanch tut gaya.
Abhijeet : ( not intrested ) Tut gaya hoga yaar. Dhyan nahi tha.
Daya felt something suspicious but left the topic seeing Abhijeet is not interested to talk with him.
So ye thi kahani ab tak.
