"A dating site?" asked a blond his arms crossed over his heart and hands folded over into the arms. The hot-headed teen was not impressed by the red head's idea. "Yeah but not just any dating site," the gamer said with a smirk. "This one is called Dark Rose and only those who are the dark members of society that wear black you know." This made Mello shrug. "What and you think we are dark members of society? We are orphans, not criminals." The blond said and his friend smiled shaking his head. "We are talking punks, emos and goths. You know those that can't stand peppy people. " Mello sighed the point was made he was a goth and punk but his hair would not say it, or maybe it did as it was longer hair than the average male. "For fifty euros you get three months of dates. " The hacker said. "Plus if you don't meet your match in that time, you get your money back," he said making the blond shrug. All he had to was try it and if it worked it was good. If it failed, he'd get fifty euros back.
He opened his laptop and waited for it to load as did Matt. Matt grabbed his laptop and brought up the site. It was pretty with an elegant rose with a curved stem and leaves. There were two boxes in a red, cursive, script. The words were Returning and New Blood. Mello had to laugh as Matt clicked New Blood. Up came a form asking a user name, a password, what you were looking for, likes, dislikes, music taste, how you describe your personality, and your fashion taste. Matt filled them all honestly and gave himself the name of MarioMatt. On the whole, he was mostly looking for a girl that didn't mind a geek. He described himself as a tech lover and gamer that was laid back.
Mello booted his up and hit new blood and started to type his name which was Chocolate&Blood. Mello then put that he was looking for a girl who was smart and liked chocolate and guns. He then put in his dislikes which were stupidity and sympathy to his rival. He then described himself which was intelligent, a good soccer player, a chocolate user and a bit on the temperamental side.
They then clicked submit after filling everything. After that, a card or account number was asked. It was easy for the two to write down their card numbers. After hitting to agree to the terms of service, they were greeted to a list of restaurants and places that are partners with the site. They both saw lots of bands as well as restaurants. To Mello's delight, some candy stores and race tracks were also included. He copied and pasted the list as did Matt. They then waited for the processing and got a checkmark that it was all ready.
They did their classes while checking for matches. Soon Mello got a match. The username was Cursed. They were also intelligent and liked chocolate. Her fashion was black or red long sleeves with skirts and socks. Her music taste was anything but metal. Her dislike was not being believed. She had no like or dislike of guns but seemed like a possible match. She was looking for a guy who could understand her. Mello chose to take this girl to a fancy restaurant. Then he had to wait it out and wondered if Matt got anyone.
After class, Matt told Mello that he had a match with someone named Aquadoctor. Mello told about his date with Cursed. The two boys looked at each other to see if anyone saw how the dates would be able to tell. It was solved when they were given an email with a printable card. The cards had their usernames on it. Mello thought the cards needed something like cardboard or plastic rather than paper. Especially if he wants to keep it up past a month.
