Stepping out of the portal, Sora and Kairi were ready to begin their mission. Earlier, Aku Aku had assigned the two to lock the keyholes in each of the so called "Lost worlds" As they were on their way to rejoin with their friends. The keyholes would not only keep the heartless from turning the world to darkness, but also ensure that Aku Aku's evil brother, Uka Uka, remain locked in the world he is in.

Sora and Kairi found themselves in a forest with a great view of what looked like a city in the mountains up ahead. It truly was a sight to see.

"Wow." Kairi awes at the view of the city. "Its beautiful."

"It sure is." Sora agrees, also awestruck at the view.

"Do you know what world this is?" Kairi says, never taking her eyes off the city.

"I think I do." Sora says, suddenly a growl catches the pairs attention. They turn to find wolves with black fur and bone like masks surrounding them.

"These aren't heartless are they?" Kairi asks. "I sense darkness, but this is... different."

"No. These are grimm. And I was right, we are on Remnant." Sora says before one of the beowolves lunge at him, to which he sidesteps and delivers a powerful strike to it, causing it to disintegrate. Kairi launches a firaga at one before knocking back another.

"What do we do?" She asks.

"Get to the city! I have a feeling something there will keep the grimm out!" Sora declares before casting a thundaga and running toward the city. Kairi also casts a thundaga and joins him in the sprint to the city.

More red eyes appear around the forest as the two run for the city, signalling more grimm are joining in on the chase. As the two near the city the grimm are shot down by people on what looked to a a defensive wall around the city. Sora and Kairi quickly get past the wall as the guards finish shooting down the grimm, apparently they went unnoticed.

"Wonder what got those beowolves so riled up." One says.

"Who cares." Another replies.

"Yeah, what else we gotta do? Talk about the mystery's of life?" The first shoots back. "That actually doesn't sound to bad."

"*sigh* No. I can't wait until my shift is done."

Sora can't help but smile, as the guards remind him of two other soldiers that he had met on a world not to far from this one.

"What now?" Kairi asks. "Do we start looking for the keyhole here?"

"Yeah! And while we're at it, lets just have some fun while we're here." Sora replies. The two making their way into the inner city where crowds of people are walking up and down a stone road.

"Careful, we don't want to lose each other... again." Kairi says. The two slowly make their way past tons of people until they find a staircase that seems to lead to the upper levels of the city. "Maybe we'll get a better look of everything from up here." Kairi suggests.

"Good idea." Sora compliments. The two make their way up the flight of stairs which went on longer and higher than they would have thought. Once they reach the top, they are immediately greeted with a balcony that welcomed them with a better view of the kingdom. From there, they can see the full extents of the streets crowded with people, the buildings placed all around and on the mountains in creative and beautiful ways, and a waterfall and sunrise to top the scene.

Needless to say, the two were left speechless at the sight.

"This might top Destiny Islands for most beautiful place I've been to." Kairi says. "MIGHT." She reaffirms. Being home, Destiny Islands would always be hard to beat for the two.

"Yeah. I don't think I've been to another world with a sight like this." Sora agrees. A moment of silence grips the two as they simply admire the scene.

"Sora!?" A voice calls out.

"Huh?" Sora looks around to find no one else around. "Kairi, did you hear someone?"

"Yeah. I can't see anyone else here either." Kairi responds.

"Up here!" The two look up to find Ruby looking down at them from balcony a "floor" up.

"Ruby!" Sora exclaims. At this Ruby smiles.

"Come up here! We gotta catch up!" She exclaims. With that, she moves out of sight.

"I see you've made friends." Kairi says.

"Yeah. I should introduce you to them." Sora says before the two begin the walk to find another flight of stairs. "Oh yeah, I should probably tell you of the rules of this world."

"Rules?" Kairi questions.

"Yeah. Donald is always reminding me of keeping the world order, so thats what I'm doing." Sora says "Basically, There is no magic here, rather everything is powered by something called dust, people have a superpower exclusive to them called a semblance, there are four kingdoms and we are currently in the kingdom of Mistral..." Sora takes a deep breath as the two find the stairs leading to the next level. "The dark things are called the creatures of grimm and apparently they are commanded by queen called Salem, but only a few people know about that, and there are four girls who apparently can use magic called the maidens who are based off the seasons and those last few things aren't supposed to known by common people. Only Ruby and here friends know of this, so thats the Geist of it." He finishes it somewhat quickly before taking in deep breaths again. "Got it?"

"Yeah... I understand." Kairi says, unsure.

"What is it?" Sora asks, knowing something is wrong.

"Its just... what if I mess up and break the world order by slipping up. Or I say something that is normal to us, yet weird to them." Kairi asks.

"Oh... I had those same thoughts when I was told about the world order." Sora shares. "I found its just best not to worry about it. This world isn't MUCH different to the islands we grew up, so you shouldn't have to worry too much of what you say. Even if you do mess up, I'll be there for you, Kairi. I always will."

At this, Kairi smiles. Sora always knew how to lift her spirits. "Thank you, Sora." With that, the two continue on to the balcony they found Ruby at.
