It was nighttime on the railroad tracks. Everything was silent and still except for the clickity-clack of the train on the tracks. Well almost everything was silent
"That's not a monster, clawing at the cage...no...It's just the train on the tr-tr-tracks…" a liguar cub spoke nervously. She tried to get some sleep, but the late-night noises prevented her. Then a sudden creak terrified her, tucking herself in further in the large white blanket she had.
"That is not a cl-cl-clown slowly stepping on the car floor...That's just the-the wood, creaking…"
When the cub could finally get some sleep, a whistle came in, scaring her awake.
That is not animal control that is just the train's whistle...Everything's fine, Anni, everything's safe...everything's normal.." then a growling noise came out of nowhere. The cub perked up with her bouncy mane of hair(think eleven's hair from stranger things 2) terrified to the bone
"What was that?" She breathed shakily and she looked towards two more cubs and she ran over to them
"Gio...AJ...Wake up wake up…" the cub said
"Mmm Anni, go back to sleep…" one of the cubs said
"I can't I think...I think something's on the train
"You're just dreaming" the other cub replied
Anni then looked towards the train car. She spotted her jaguar mother asleep and she crawled towards them
"Mommy….Mommy...Something's on the train…"
"Sweetheart...It's probably Vitaly throwing knives again." Anni was still scared.
She went across the cars of the train and went into the library and went through some of the books and spotted one of the books containing a beast on the front.
"It's a beast…" She saw a shadow coming and she found a book and hid behind the shelf and waited for her moment to attack. She felt her golden-brown fur standing up, sweat dripping down her forehead. She spotted the shadow eating something making her nervous.
"The beast is going to eat me…"
It was only Alex getting a midnight snack. He was chowing down on a salmon. He was going to head back to the train car until
"ATTACK!" then Anni attacked Alex swinging the large book at him, making him yelp.
She swung the book at his legs. He rolled his eyes and grabbed her tail, lifting her to his level
"What are you doing?" Alex scolded his daughter. "Do you know what time it is…"
"Are you sure your my daddy or are you just a beast in disguise?" Anni interrogated.
"WHAT….Annita?!"
"I bet you are a beast, Your eating somebody right now!"
"It's just fish sweetheart...I...We'll talk in the morning…!" Alex dropped his daughter. Anni then shook herself off and saw that it was in fact her dad
"I swear I did see a beast I...I'm not making it up-" Anni whimpered
"GO to bed Annita…" Anni allowed her head to droop down as she walked straight back to bed.
