I do not own Pokemon or anything that relates to it. I only have ownership over Isabella as she's my original character. Also, this is legit my first story I have ever typed and posted so if you see any mistakes or have some constructive criticism just let me know. This story will contain smut and strong language.

"Oh Crap! I'm soooo late! Why do I always get my stuff together at the last second?!" A short young black-haired woman questioned as she frantically stuffed her small suitcase with various clothing.

This woman's name is Isabella, and she is currently rushing to pack her belongings before she misses her flight. She's a representative of some big company and today she was needed at some important meet and greet type thing that's somewhere in another part of the world with other members from other companies. She had overslept the night before and now she's paying for the consequences.

After a few minutes of packing, Isabella went into the kitchen to grab some things. "Ok. Got my purse, keys...now where's that- shot! That must be still in my room, " She mumbled to herself as she ran back and forth from room to room trying to make sure she had everything she needed. Her chaotic frenzy had one of the other occupants who also lived in this small 3-bedroom apartment to awake from their room.

A female Braixen emerged from her room with her head poking out of the door to see what was all the commotion about. She had a tired look on her face as she rubbed one of her eyes with her paw while she gazed up and down the hall to see her former-trainer-now-just- owner running around like a madwoman.

"Bra...?" The Braixen asked in its native tongue once her owner had passed her again in the hall. Upon hearing a voice, the woman spun around to her Pokémon.

"Oh Phoebe, I didn't mean to wake you but I'm kinda in a hurry, " Isabella apologized before continuing, "I was just going to leave a note since you already know I got these important trip to be going to but now since you're up right now I might as well tell you what I have to say you in person before I leave."

"Braix Braixen," Phoebe responded with a nod as she walked completely out of her room and into the hallway to do a little stretch.

"Can you wake up Moon for me sweetheart? I want to tell him this too. After you do that I would like for both of you to meet me by the door, " Phoebe again nodded while Isabella continued on what she was doing. The fox Pokémon walked forward toward the door that was in front of her room and a small knock on it. She waited patiently with her paws clasped with each other behind her back for a few moments before letting out a quiet sigh, knowing she wasn't going to get a response this way. She gulped with her eyes shut tight before placing her paw on the door and slowly pushed forward, the door made a couple of dreadful creaks as she did so. Phoebe never liked waking up Moon because of how mad he'll get when sleep is disturbed. He's not really a mourning person.

Once the door was ajar, she poked her head inside and looked around. It was a simple room, much like hers, with some dressers, a window, a closet, a nightstand by the bed with a lamp on top of it, and the bed itself in the middle of the room. The room was a bit messy though, with some books and various miscellaneous items laid about in different places on the floor and a worn-out punching bag that Isabella bought a couple of days ago laid completely destroyed on the floor.

Ignoring the mess as she was used to seeing this whenever she came in here, Phoebe tiptoed towards the bed. The sound of soft snoring could be heard as she got closer and closer. Phoebe watched as a lump that laid on top of the bed and entirely covered by a blanket rose and fell with each snore. Once she reached the side of the bed she bent forward and gave the lump gentle nudges while whispering, "Moon it's to get up," The lump only groaned in annoyance while swatting away whatever was trying to wake them. Phoebe had failed to notice this in time and was lightly smacked on her snout. "Ow!" She whimpered as she held onto her face in slight pain while stumbling back a bit. She growled before angrily crossed her arms and huffed with her cheeks puffed out, "So you want to play rough eh? Two can play that game, " she growled before pouncing onto them. The figure under the covers had woken up instantly once they felt a sudden weight on top of them and instinctively fought back whatever that was assaulting them. The tussle lasted about a few seconds before a surprised yip was heard as Phoebe took a small bite at one the figure's ears before being launched off the bed with a hard kick and landed on her soft behind.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" yelled at the figure as they sat up and removed the rest of the blankets to reveal a pissed off Midnight form of Lycanroc who was tentatively rubbing their ear.

"Get up! Isabella wants us both to see her at the door, " Phoebe yelled back while getting up off the floor and slamming her balled paws down on the foot of the bed.

"Ok, but you didn't have to fucking bite me you damn fox!" Moon argued before grabbing a pillow and tossing it at her. Luckily, she was able to duck in time.

"You hit me first!"

Moon just scoffed and grumbled a, "whatever, " before getting up and sluggishly waking out of the room, leaving the Braixen behind.

"Hey Moon wait up, " she said while scurrying to her feet and following close behind. They both walked out into the hallway until Phoebe gently grabbed onto Moon's wrist and brought him to a stop, "I... I didn't bite you t-too hard did I?" Moon stared back at her with a bemused expression as he studied her. She was clutching onto her chest and was looking at him with an apologetic look with her ears down and everything.

"Wha- Why are you apologizing for that?!"

Moon shook his head realizing this is her apologetic self.

"Well, I-" She tried to give her reasonings but was he quick to interrupt her.

"It's fine, he mumbled, pulling his arm out of her grip before continuing, "I didn't mean to hit you also."

She gave him a small smile, telling him that it was fine as well. Moon wanted to change the subject so he asked, "What does she want anyway?"

"She just wants to tell us things before she leaves for her business trip."

"Couldn't she leave a note or something? Is it really necessary to wake us up at Arceus knows what time just to say goodbye?"

"I think she didn't have the time so she decided to do it in person will be the more manageable option. She probably wants to tell us some rules also,"

They both continued on down the hall and at the door. Upon walking there, they saw Isabella standing putting her earrings on one of her ears and turning to face them.

"Oh, there you two are. I heard a bit of ruckus from here. I hope you two weren't fighting again. I would lecture you both on why you shouldn't be fighting each other, at least not in the apartment but I'm kinda on a time crunch, so I'll spare the two of you this time," she started once they both stood in front of her. Phoebe looked up at her owner with an attentive look on her face, with her paws interlocked with each other on her lower stomach, a similar stance servant or maid would make when demonstrating their readiness to receive orders. While Moon stood with a tired and bored expression, his arms lazily hung in front of him and the usual hunched stance that Lycanroc had was way worse with him at this moment.

"Now I just want to give some rules before I leave. The first rule is don't make a mess of the place, I don't want to come back to the place completely destroyed. Second, is to not let anyone you or I don't know inside. Third, do not go out and start fights with any person or Pokémon... Moon, she said while giving Moon a stern look who only just snickered to himself, "I'm seriously Moon, the neighbors are threatening to put a restraining order on you for all times you seriously hurt their Pokémon and I got to pay for all medical bills, Isabella gave a frustrated sigh before continuing, "Anyway, forth is what I said before, no fighting each other indoors. Fifth, don't be gone at night for a period of time at night, she was looking at Moon again when she said this, "And finally, the sixth rule is basically don't do anything that you know you shouldn't be doing. I know this isn't the first I've left two alone but I still expect you both to act mature and the well-rounded Pokémon I trained to be. Do I make myself clear?" She announced with motherly authority and her hands on hips.

"Braixen!" Chirped Phoebe with a bow, showing she understood. Moon just gave a curt shrug. Isabella made a troubled hum sound before leaning into Phoebe's large ears and whispered very quietly so that Moon's keen hearing won't pick on what she's saying.

"I know I don't have to tell you this but I figured I should. Please try to behave yourself while I'm gone as I know what you're going through is rough but be strong until I get back and I promise we'll work this out together. Also, please make sure Moon behaves himself, you know how he is..." As Isabella talked with Phoebe, Moon couldn't help but feel a tad bit curious as to why they had talked so quietly with each other so he couldn't hear but just shrugged off figuring it was probably what they call 'girl talk' or whatever.

"Ok, that's all I got to say. Take care you two, I'll be back in a day or two, Isabella says after finishing up her private talk with Phoebe. Both Moon and Phoebe nodded, while Phoebe gave a small wave with a noticeable blush on her furred cheeks from the conversation she just had with her owner as Isabella grabbed all her belongings and made her way towards before opening it, stepping out, closing and locking it behind her.

The apartment was flooded with silence after the door had shut. The two Pokemon stood there for a moment before Phoebe turned to Moon, "So, you up for breakfast?"
