Chapter 1: new story
In the hidden village of the leaves all you could see was death and destruction. You could see shinobi running around and attacking what could only be described as a monster the height of a skyscraper it looked like a fox with long ears and front legs that look like human hands all in all it was something that could make anyone feel terror

With Sarutobi

"Dammit I don't know how long we can hold it off," said Sarutobi a man that looked like he was too old to be on the battle field but all who know him knew that was not the case as he was the third hokage. Sarutobi jumped and hit the fox on the nose with a giant staff "NOW" yelled Sarutobi and the shinobi around him all released their jutsu hoping they would damage the fox but sadly it barely affected the rampaging monster known as the kyuubi some of the shinobi were getting ready to give up and Sarutobi could tell "EVERY ONE LOOK AT ME DON'T GIVE UP BECAUSE IF WE DO WE MIGHT AS WELL JUST LET THE KYUBBI DESTROY OUR HOME, OUR FAMILY, GIVE UP OUR WILL TO PROTECT OUR WILL OF FIRE" his words had an almost instant effect you could see hope and determination in their eyes

All of a sudden there was a flash of yellow everyone looked to see their hero the fourth hokage the third jumped over to him "where have you been Minato" Minato sighed "I had to fight with the person controlling the kyuubi" you could see the third recoil at the thought of a single person able to control the strongest bijuu "what but how the last person to control the kyuubi was.. no it can't be he has been dead for years" questioned the third "I don't know but the person I fought called himself Madara uchiha" replied Minato. "ok do you have a plan to deal with the kyuubi" asked the third "sigh yes I have I am going to seal the kyuubi into my son" responded the sad voice of Minato "what.. seal no you can't use that seal it will kill you" said the quiet voice of the third

"I have to Sarutobi it is the only way.. just.. promise me he will be seen as the hero he is" replied Minato even though in the back of his mind he knew that would never happen and that was the last word he said to Sarutobi before he flashed away to do the sealing "I promise you.. Minato" whispered Sarutobi

Flash to the present

walking in the shadows was a child with blond hair but had a lot of brown in his hair as well but it was just mud his cloths were baggy dirty and was mostly holes if you looked closely at his face or body you could see many faint scars he had bright blue eyes filled with the brightness all children have but as well as sadness he was very skinny you could see some of his bones, his name was Naruto

'hmm I have to get something to eat soon' the way he got food was by waiting until shops closed and get food out of their dumpster or stealing which he did not like to do and only did it when necessary 'oh there is one' thought Naruto as he climbed into the dumpster and started to rummage through all the garbage but he did not find anything 'well I guess it is time to go to a different dumpster' Naruto thought was a night were he be able to get the rest he deserved but sadly that was not the case because to day was his birthday. When you think of a birthday you think of a family celebrating a special day with a child well not for Naruto his birthdays were filled with pain from the villagers but he believes it will get better because his ojichan says it will

'I have to get back home soon maybe inu-san will celebrate my birthday with me' thought Naruto but he decided he would check one more dumpster on his way back as he was checking the dumpster at the bakery he found a cupcake in surprisingly good condition he carefully picked it up and walked back home with it

he had to walk through most of the red light district to get to his house as he lived in the worst part of the red light district when he got to his apartment he saw a drunk man and cringed and was hoping that he would get by without anything happening and surprisingly nothing did happen he was thinking is this birthday finally going to be a good one when he got in his apartment he found an envelope in side was 2,000 yen (about 20 dollars) and a note 'I wonder who this is from' Naruto thought as he opened the letter 'Naruto sorry for not being there for your birthday I have a mission to do in the envelope is some money go get yourself something from inu' Naruto smiled as inu was his only friend but was saddened that he could not be there 'oh well at least he gave me a present' Naruto then remembered the cupcake he went to go get a candle when he got it he realized it could not be used anymore although it saddened him he was still happy

Naruto sat on his bed with the cupcake and started to sing to him self the birthday song or at least what he remembered hearing from family's singing it to children "happy birthday to me happy birthday to me happy... birthday to me happy...birth..day to me" it was at this point Naruto realized he was crying but he did not know why he decided to eat the cupcake he was hungry after all he did not eat anything today when he was done he went to wash up halfway there he started to feel light headed and dizzy 'what is happening' was his last thought before he fell over
