Admiral's log: Since the ban of synths by the Federation after the destruction of Romulus by the supernova, my old ship mates have gone on to new lives. Dr. Crusher is Head of Starfleet Medical; Will and Deanna are on active reserve, Worf is serving the Empire; and my new crew on the La Sirenna have not heard about any of the adventures of the Enterprise crew into the Vortex.
Now, a call from that galaxy has once again come to us by way of a beacon; a new one, of course.
"Attention, crew of the Enterprise, this is Commander Poe Dameron. We are in desperate need of your help. Rey needs your help. Please assist us."
