It was a long day after the world meeting, and Belarus just wanted to go home and relax. Too bad she couldn't even do that since she had a sleepover to attend with all the other girl nations at her sister's house. She couldn't even use the excuse, "Oh I can't attend, I don't have any tickets on me," because of course the world meeting had to take place at Ukraine, the place where her sister wanted the sleepover to take place. To make matters worse, she invited the Baltics. The Baltics. Some of the most annoying people she met in her life, goodness gracious.

Belarus just decided to brush those thoughts aside, and just sat down in the bus. She sat down and thought, "At least no other nations decided to take the bus today." And her looking around confirmed it. Especially that annoying American who thought that he was always the best in the world. "emNo you're not,"/em Belarus always thought. As the bus doors were about to close, Belarus decided maybe she should take a nap. Yes, just for a little while until her destination had arrived. Then she closed her eyes for her to take a long, nice na-

"WAIT!"

Belarus's eyes shot open. She looked over on where that big yell was coming from, and there she saw it. A hand stuck in the bus's door. How dumb are people these days? As other people got out of there seats and tried to help the man, Belarus just sat there. It was their fault for being so dumb and getting their hand stuck. They should have just waited. She scoffed. Then as the person finally was able to free himself and get inside, Belarus got a glimpse of him. He had blonde spiky hair, and big blue eyes that were maybe bright enough to light up the whole bus. He also had a stupid gigantic smile on his face, totally appropriate after getting his hand stuck.

Then she started to realize that he looked familiar. To her annoyance she realized, "It's another country." She remembered him as he was always loud and obnoxious, well to most of the people he sat with that is. "America 2.0," she always thought. Denmark was his name, wasn't it? She looked at him, he was just talking to the other passengers on the bus, making them smile and laugh as well. "Oh well," she thought. "At least he isn't sitting near me."

She looked over at Denmark once again. How easy it was for him to get along with others, even with the people he barely knew. Belarus on the other hand, not so much. She didn't really talk to others, aside from her siblings, and no one really bothered to try to talk to her either. She didn't mind though. No, she didn't care. Denmark then stopped and looked over in her direction, and then back at the person who he was talking to. "He probably didn't even recognize me, being the big idiot he is," Belarus thought. It's not like no one knew who she was, no that's not why people didn't talk to her. They didn't talk to her because they feared her. Yeah, feared. No one wanted to talk to her, and that was okay. She was fine being feared. It's not like she nee-

"Hey, Belarus, that's your name right?" Belarus quickly turned her head to the left, just to see that Danish man staring up at her with the stupidest smile on his face. Belarus just nodded. Wow. He actually came and sat with her. That's something new, right?

"Oh thank goodness there's another country here as well! Whew! You don't know how relieved I am that there is at least one person on here I can talk to without you know? Accidentally talking about country stuff. But anyways, I'm getting ahold of myself. Sooooo…. Where ya headed?" Denmark asked.

It took a while until Belarus finally answered, "Sleepover."

"A sleepover?! Woah! That's so cool! I don't really remember the last time I had one, I think it was 10 years ago or longer, but I think it was when I went over to Norge's house to sleep at his place. Well, I don't really know if you can really call it a sleepover, well actually, yes you can! So basically what happened was that…"

And there he went, going on rambling. Belarus thought that for a one worded answer, he really did sure have a lot to say. She didn't even listen to half of the things he was saying because she had her mind on something else. She was thinking about the fact that he chose to sit next to her. It wasn't that it was the only spot available, that was far from the truth. He saw her and decided to sit next to her. Even with that scowl on her face that said "Don't talk to me" he still came and sat anyways. Belarus didn't know what to think of that.

"…So then he kicked me out of the house, and then I had to stop and stay at a hotel. I'm sorry, but you should've just seen the look on his face! It was priceless. Sure, maybe for him it was the last straw and all, but for me it was beginning of something new. An adventure! I mean c'mon, what would you think if all of a sudden you woke up in the middle of the night to see a gorilla staring at you, while you're stuck in bed, unable to do anything, except try to get out and defend yourself? Isn't that funny? Maybe not funny, but exciting? Yes, that's a better word. I thought it was! Norge… not so much on the other hand. But he never thinks anything is funny, and never shows any excitement whatsoever. Oh! Speaking of Norge, that's why I'm on this bus!"

Belarus was confused on how going on this bus had anything to do with Norway. She didn't know whether he was talking about the personification, or the country itself. Either way it didn't make sense. Norway was in his own country, and that was far away from Ukraine, so why would Denmark be on the bus to see him? Denmark must've noticed the confused expression on Belarus, so he elaborated, "I'm visiting Norge, and ja he's all the way in Norway right now. But I took this bus because one of the stops for this bus is at the airport, and I finally got the time to get a ticket to Oslo, Norway. That's where Norge lives if ya' didn't know. Then Imma take that plane and then Imma land there and give Norge a surprise visit. I haven't visited him in like what, 5 years? Sure I've seen him, talked to him, hung out with him a few times, you get the picture. But I never really got the chance to visit him, ya' know? So then when I arrive at his house, he's going to open the door and be like, "Who's there?" and then I'm going to be like "Surprise it's me!" and then I'm going to give him the biggest and most greatest hug he's ever gotten. Then he's gonna be like, "Oh Denmark! Is that really you? I've missed you so much!" and then yada, yada, yada. That's why I really rushed to get on this bus. I didn't want to miss the one chance I have to see him. Even if it meant nearly crushing my hand." Denmark chuckled, and then looked at Belarus. "How often do you get to see your sister?"

Belarus thought about that question. It wasn't like she never got to see her. But it was mainly Ukraine doing the visiting, not her herself. "Sometimes I see her, sometimes I don't. I see her enough though," was all she could think to reply with./p

"Ah, I see. You're lucky did ya' know that?"

"Lucky?" Belarus thought. "I'd do anything to get my sister to stop bothering me." She looked over at Denmark. "How am I lucky?"

"Well let me ask you a question, kind of like the last one. How often do you get to see your brother?"

Belarus started to think for a while. Unlike her sister, her brother didn't really visit her that often. It was usually her doing the visiting, and even then it was sort of hard to do that. She looked at Denmark with cold, hard eyes. How dare he have the audacity to ask that!

"Well, assuming by the way you're looking at me right now, I assume not as much as you sister, ja? Belarus slowly nodded, still having the look on her face. "I'm assuming that you wish you get to see him more. Correct?"

Belarus was starting to get more frustrated by the second. "Well of course I do! He's my brother!"

"Well that's how I feel like with me and the other Nordics. I don't know about you, but blood related or not, I've always thought of us as brothers to me. You know? Like one big family. Full of brothers." Denmark chuckled. "But like you said about your brother, of course I want to see my brothers. Ja, I know that we're near each other and all, but sometimes other circumstances stop us from seeing each other. I'm sure your brother wants to see you as much as you want to see him. Which I'm sure is very much. But anyways as I was saying, I said that you we're lucky because compared to me, you at least get to see one sibling often, don't ya?"

Belarus thought about that for a moment. "Yeah well, she's annoying as hell."

Denmark chuckled. "That's what Norge says to me all the time. But I know that he doesn't mean it. If he did mean it, then why would he still talk to me, right? And if you really do think that your sister is annoying as hell, then why are you going over to her place? I mean the sleepover is hosted by her, right?" Belarus only nodded in response.

"Exactly my poi-"

Suddenly the bus stopped. "Oh, well there's my stop. I'll see you around, ja? I don't know, we'll probably see each other again, on another bus somewhere in another country." Denmark chuckled once again, and then turned to face Belarus. He waved and yelled, "I'll see you later! It was fun talking to yo- Hey wait! Don't close the doors on me yet!"

And with that, Denmark ran out and was gone. Belarus didn't say it out loud but to her, that may have been one of, if not was, the longest conversation she had with anyone else, other than her siblings. She wasn't complaining though.

If anything, she kind of liked it.
