Danni skidded her Kawasaki ninja to a stop in front of the doorstep of Devil May Cry. She took off her helmet, shaking out her long, black hair so it settled beneath her shoulder blades. Her heterochromia eyes fixed on the neon sign above the door, and smiled. She got off the bike, making sure the kick stand

"Enter." Came a male voice.

Danni opened the door, entering the establishment, and approached the desk where none other than the legendary demon-slayer himself was sitting. Dante looked up at her for a brief second. "Get lost kid, the ad said no armatures" Dante said.

"I'm no amateur." Danni said. "Give me a chance on a job and I'll prove it to you."

"Get. Lost." Dante said before waving a hand towards the door. "Don't let the door hit you on the way out."

"I'll be back with proof." Danni said before heading out the door. Just as she was about to mount her bike, the hairs on the back of her neck prickled. "Heh, I didn't think I'd be able to prove myself so soon."

A Death Scythe appeared, attacking Danni. Danni aimed her guns at it's head. "Bring it."

Just as Danni destroyed the Death Scythe with a slash of her sword-which she had taken off her motorcycle during the fight- the Death Scythe slashed her across her chest, cutting a deep wound. Dante, having seen the entire thing, ran out from the shop and looked at her. "Hey kid, you okay?" He asked. "Kid?"

"That really hurt." Danni muttered. "I got a first-aid kit in my saddlebags if you don't mind." Danni said.

"Your not entirely human, are you kid?" Dante asked as he went through her saddlebags.

"Half-demon." Danni said. "Mom was a demon and Dad….well I don't know about my Dad but he was at least some part human."

"Well after that performance you got the job, just be more careful in the future." Dante said,

"Thanks, you won't regret it." Danni said.
