Wyatt and his future self were pouring some of the water from the fountain the Elders had given them on their wedding day to finish the potion that would wound Elak, their daughter, beyond repair, when they heard Piper's call.

"Mom" they said at unison.

"I'll go ahead. Finish corking these ones, don't want anything of that thing spilled anywhere near my family, until is absolutely necessary" Wyatt said with a bitter look before orbing out into the manor.

Once he orbed in, everybody was clearly shaken up. "What's wrong?" he ran to his wife checking for any sign of damage.

"I'm alright" she reassured him. "Check on Chris" she urged him as Chris still sat taking steady deep breaths, holding a hand to his own chest. He could feel his whole chest searing with pain, Wyatt could see him sweating through the pain, clutching a hand to his knee to somehow hold it back. His heart was pounding against his ribcage. He closed his eyes trying to settle his thoughts and feelings down, surely no easy task at the moment.

"What exactly happened?" said Wyatt now checking on his brother, turning from his wife to his mother. Everybody in the room was visibly on edge, Sam held her husband's hand as he kneeled in front of Chris. He started healing almost as soon as he touched him, still unsure from what exactly.

"Who the hell is Ama?" said Piper ignoring her eldest son, very upset with Chris who clearly knew the demon they had just dealt with and who had also tried to kill him as a nice icing on the cake. "Even more interesting, why would you conjure her into the damn house?"

"Tell me you guys didn't" Wyatt said figuring it all out.

"I'm sorry. We didn't think…"

"That's a bit of an understatement, don't you think?" Wyatt drowned Sam's words.

"Wyatt, I asked her to, OK?" said Chris in her defense, now fully healed.

"Stay out of this, Chris!" Wyatt snapped back.

"Don't yell at him! He needed my help and I…"

"I thought we said we would discuss this before you even…" Future Wyatt orbed in cutting off their argument. He had several flasks in one raised hand, clearly ready to strike.

"Where is she?"

"Where's who?" said an outraged Piper. "OK. That's it! Everybody into the damn dining room. She stormed out of the attic, an old vase bursting as she passed by. You could tell she was pissed just by listening to how many times she used the word damn in her sentences. Everybody was careful not to say any stronger word than that with so many little ones learning to talk around them 24/7.

"What are those?" asked Chris on his way out of the room. Sam crossed her arms and stared at both her husbands, before she walked quickly past them. Chris gave a little nod deciding they were in enough trouble apparently to dig any deeper at the moment.

Not another word was said before they reached the first floor and sat down at the table. Piper thought it would be better to discuss things there where a nice table served as an effective distance between one and the other. She left Melinda in the master bedroom with their grandkids and told Leo to catch up, telling him what had happened in a nutshell, which only added to his confusion. Baby Julian had orbed them all up there, including grandpa, at the sound of disturbances.

Once they all arrived, they simply sat there, unable to say a word to each other. Future Wyatt sat at the end of the table, Piper to his left, her back against the stairs, waiting for Leo to join them. To his right, sat Wyatt, Sam and Chris, who was still fidgeting with his hands, not sure how he was going to confess his feelings for Ama to his parents in less than five.

Soon, Leo joined the tense party awaiting, he sat by Piper's side, baby monitor at hand. Piper took a deep breath and asked unceremoniously "Well…?" to her son Chris, who blew some air gathering some courage before he began trying to explain their actions.

"Remember how I mentioned a woman helping me when I was stuck in the 1700's?"

"Yes, I also remember you mentioned an ancestor from the Halliwell line" said his father.

"Correct…" Chris wasn't sure how to explain what was next.

"What he forgot to mention" said Sam holding his hand underneath the table. "was that that woman was my ancestor" Wyatt had his arms crossed still clearly upset. "And because of that, he asked for my help…"

"Which we said we would discuss before we even tried calling on…" interrupted Wyatt not being able to help himself.

"Keep your voice down!" said Piper menacingly. There was a moment of silence with more deep breaths to follow.

"I needed to talk to her and Sam was the only one who could help me do that"

"What could possibly be so damn important, you had to conjure a 300-year-old spirit into the house, right after…what happened?" They still couldn't talk about what happened out loud. So many things had happened in a matter of weeks that they were still not back to their full stronger selves yet, not any of them.

Everybody went quiet. Wyatt and Sam knew the answer but they thought it wasn't something for them to share. Chris gulped over and over again, trying to gather the strength to say out loud how much in love he was with Ama, even now, after her present self had tried to suck the life right out of him. Leo noticed his son wasn't ready to share whatever it was, so he jumped to his defense.

"Whatever the reason? It doesn't explain how a demon was conjured instead"

"Or how she looked exactly like this Ama person" said Piper. Leo stared surprised.

"She might have… reincarnated" said Wyatt to help his brother's case. "They just didn't know any better" he sighed feeling somewhat ashamed on his behavior a while ago. He reached for Sam's hand and she took it gladly without a word. She knew he could act a little erratically when he felt scared for them. There were surely going to be the proper apologies later from both parts, they had always been able to admit when they were wrong, be ready to fix things together as one and move on.

"We got bigger things to worry about at the moment anyway" said Future Wyatt staring at the vials now on the table in front of him.

"Which brings me to the next issue?" said Piper. "Who exactly were you ready to vanquish with those?" she asked perfectly knowing the answer, but still expecting to be brought up to speed on the matter of her granddaughter. Her hands clasped together on the table, she turned to her son Wyatt and Sam.

"We've decided to be ready…to handle things in a different way… if it comes to it" said Wyatt still not making eye contact with his mother.

"OK. I thought… you had all decided to… send her away"

"There might not be enough time for that" it was Future Wyatt who answered now.

"I don't understand. It was your idea…"

"Yes, mom. I just thought we had more time" Piper's throat tightened, making it painful to swallow. It was unconceivable to think her son had to kill his own daughter to save the future of the world; and the worse part of it was… she couldn't really tell him not to, because she herself had understood clearly, Elak was not going to give them any other choice, no matter how hard they tried.

Sam rubbed both sides of her nose with her hands in despair. She had no idea how to handle this information just yet. She knew it was coming, but her heart just wouldn't allow her to accept it.

"You still haven't told us why you needed those" added Leo gloomily, rubbing Piper's shoulder.

"These are filled with a potion Edward found some time ago" said Future Wyatt. "It'll help us, weaken Elak, enough for our powers to have any kind of effect on her at least" he turned to Sam, whose face was rapidly covering in silent bitter tears. "She won't be able to heal once this comes in contact with her blood" he sighed.

"Well…" Piper cleared her throat in defeat. "What's done it's done. We'll try and find out more about this Ama person ourselves. I think you guys have enough on your plate as it is…"

"I'm so…" Chris tried to apologize. It wasn't until this moment he fully understood just how much pain they were dealing with right then.

"No, I'm sorry" Sam interrupted him and turned to face him. "I was prepared to do anything that didn't have to do with the fact I have to kill my own daughter" her voice broke in and out as the air got harder and harder to take in.

"I never meant…"

"Not your fault. Not any of it. And I promise you, I will help you"

"I know. Don't worry about it. Please" said Chris taking her hand. "You're getting so cold" he said and reached for her face. He gave Wyatt one look and he gently turned Sam to face him. Her breathing slowed as if she were falling suddenly asleep.

"Honey…?" said Wyatt gently slapping her face in an attempt to keep her awake. He held her arm and felt her shivering.

"I'll get some juice" said Piper sprinting to her feet and running to the kitchen.

"Sam?" she could hear him faintly as if in a dream. Her whole body feeling heavier and heavier. She wanted to caress her husband's face but she couldn't lift her arm. She smiled shedding fresh and painful tears. For one fleeting moment, she wished it all faded away to black away from the pain.
