Sorry I have not posted in a while. To make it up to everyone I am posting a new story by the name of A Place to Call Home.

Chapter 1 Finding a Place
'It is time for me to find a place of my own but I don't know where to start' Miko thought to herself as she was packing the last of her things from her college dorm. Miko N. is an independent twenty-four-year-old woman with hazel brown eyes and three streaks of pink hair, her hair has grown out considerably throughout the years. She is trying to find a place to live on her own. She is looking at houses and apartments trying to visualize her future there, but none catch her eye, yet. As she looks through possible places she keeps note of the prices. So far the apartments are expensive up-keep and the houses are either too big or too small for her taste.
She keeps looking at different websites on her computer. The most important thing to keep in mind is the location. The location that Miko is looking for is a place close to everything but at the same time away from everything, her own little sanctuary. So far none of the addresses she looked at in person had that sanctuary look or feel to them.
Frustrated, she logged off her laptop computer, closed the screen lid, and plugged the computer in to let it charge because she drained the battery looking at possible future addresses. She laid down on her bed and closed her eyes tired at looking at a screen for so long.
When Miko awoke she could hear the songs of birds in the morning. She shuffled to the kitchen to make breakfast. Miko enjoyed having a bagel with Nutella and a boiled egg on the side, she also enjoyed the taste of orange juice with her breakfast. After Miko finished eating she unplugged her computer to continue the 'Own Home Search' as she called it.
