Hi everyone, Here is the first chapter only in Vic's POV, I'm trying to make them more of equal main characters, so I hope it works out well.

Now back to the fiction story written by this fan!

Victoire's POV (Hogwarts Express)

I was honestly very upset that I didn't get to spend time with Michael on the Hogwarts Express. I didn't know how much time I would actually get to spend with him at school with his apprenticeship and my Head Girl duties, so I would like to have as much time to get to know him as possible, and the 9 hours on the train had seemed perfect.

Soon I arrived at the compartment that Leo was already sitting in.

"Hey, how are you? It's been all summer." I said, walking into the compartment.

"I know, I'm sorry for not being able to come over this summer. You know I spent all summer at my grandparent's place in Greece."

"How was It?"

"Honestly it could have been better. While my parents knew about me, my grandparents didn't, so they kept trying to set me up with one girl or another. I'm honestly glad my parents are so accepting and were able to help me get out of things."

"Don't think I didn't catch you saying didn't instead of don't, what happened that made your grandparents learn?"

"I kind of blurted it out right before stepping into the floo to get home yesterday. My grandmother was saying some mean things about how I hadn't gone on a single date this whole summer and how I was becoming a disgrace to the family. I was fed up with her and I blurted it out right before I stepped into the floo. I'm still waiting for her letter, or maybe even a howler. I'm guessing breakfast tomorrow. Either that or she sent a letter to mum and she will send me a letter telling me what grandma said."

"Ouch, I don't envy you."

"It's fine, It was going to happen eventually. By the way, thank you for buying my stuff for school, I have the money for that here." He said, handing me a bag of coins.

"Oh right" I said, taking the bag while going to my trunk to find the books for him and then handing them over.

"Speaking of summers, your last letter mentioned a new kid in your life. You seem smitten." he said, as his smirk grew. "Where is he? Didn't you say that he's going to be at Hogwarts this year?"

Feeling my blush grow, I checked my watch and realized I needed to get to the prefects cabin for our meeting. Taking the opportunity to escape Leo's questioning, I told him that I was needed elsewhere.

"You can't escape this conversation, we'll talk about this later!" Leo yelled as I started to walk down the hall towards the front of the train.

As I arrived at the prefect's cabin, I was honestly glad that I wasn't a Gryffindor seeing how the Slytherin Prefects treated the heads last year who were both Gryffindor. I hoped that they would not zero in on who my family is and respect me as a Ravenclaw.

The meeting went well although the Head Boy, Jordan Wilkes from Hufflepuff, seemed content to just let me handle all of the talking, handing out all of the night time patrol schedules as well as explaining the responsibilities to the new 5th year prefects. I knew that I would get really annoyed with him if this behavior kept up throughout the year. I wondered why he was chosen to be Head Boy over some of the other prefects from last year. Even someone who wasn't a prefect, like Leo, would've been a better choice.

I also knew that I needed to set my boundaries with him really quick. Since we would be sharing the Heads suite, I needed him to know that under no circumstances was anything going to happen between us.

Heading back to the cabin where Leo was, I found him reading one of the books that I had picked up for him at Diagon Alley. He looked up as I came back into the cabin.

"Ah, and she returns. How was the meeting?"

"It went ok, the new 5th year prefects seem competent, but the new Head Boy, Jordan Wilkes from Hufflepuff, is really going to annoy me this year, especially since we are sharing a dorm."

"That's right, you get to live in the heads' dorm. First of all you have to tell me where it is, and you at least get your own room right?"

"It's on the 3rd floor, close to Professor Flitwick's classroom - at least that's what Dad told me from when he was Head Boy - and yes, I do get my own room. The dorm has a common area and a room for each head. My dad has had a lot of fun teaching me a lot of cool wards to keep the other head out of my dorm."

"That's sick, I can't wait to see them in action when Jordan just becomes like every other boy in school and realizes that he sleeps in the room next to yours."

At this I grimaced, not wanting to think what would happen in that situation, but then I smiled, almost evilly, knowing just what would happen to him if he tried. I had already sent a letter to McGonagall to help me finish the wards tonight with a portkey feature, as only the Headmistress could make a portkey able to travel within the Hogwarts wards.

"Will you be keying me into the wards, or will you just make me stay in the common room when I visit?" Leo asked.

"I will be keying you into the wards, although I will be the only one who can."

"Woah, that's advanced magic." Leo seemed shocked that I could accomplish it. "Speaking of the wards, are you going to key in the new guy, Michael?"

I blushed, and leaned back in my seat, hoping to sleep the rest of the train ride away, but Leo shook me and said, "Delaying this conversation won't help you any. Tell me about him, and does he have a cute brother or friend?"

"He doesn't have any family or friends with him in Britain, except for the Potters who he's been staying with. I met him a couple of weeks ago during dinner with Gran. After that, we've written a few letters to each other and he seems like a genuine person." I then told Leo about some of the things that we had written about and how he had grown up in the muggle world with the Harry Potter books. I didn't mention his job, as I didn't know if I would be betraying his trust to do so.

"See, that wasn't so bad, I'm sure you're glad to have gotten that conversation out of the way."

"Sure, whatever."

"Where is he anyways, shouldn't he be on the Express? I'm having a hard time believing that he's actually real."

"If you would have met me on the platform, you would have met him. He said that because of some stupid rule he wasn't allowed to take the Express to Hogwarts. He said that he would see me, and I guess that means you too, at dinner."

"Seems like excuses to me," Leo joked, "I'll believe it when I see it."

With a laugh from both of us, we continued in a comfortable silence, doing what Ravenclaws do best, read. At Michael's suggestion, I bought some fiction stories to read. I had already read most of my school books, and since Leo had some catching up to do, I allowed myself some time to read a good story. Flourish and Blotts had hired some authors to rewrite the Gilderoy Lockhart books, giving credit to the original explorer and taking out all of the Lockhart centered info that had no use to the stories. It was considered fiction because of all of the embellishment that had gone into it, but it was based on a true story, so in my brain I was still learning at least a little bit.

The books were actually quite good - they had a compelling storyline and I was drawn in, wanting to read more. I had a thought that I could send a letter to one of my uncles who was at Hogwarts when Lockheart taught there and see if they had a copy of the original lying around. There was a big chance that all of those books had been part of a Weasley Family Bonfire.

We read until the trolley lady came around, and then we had our pre dinner snack. One of the few good things about having veela blood is that I don't have to watch my weight like most other witches. With how much I love chocolate, it is a really nice perk.

After that, I needed to have my patrol, and Leo went with me just in case I ran into someone unpleasant. Luckily I didn't, but I did take some time to see how Dom and Louis were doing.

Dom and her 4th year friends were in a compartment, lamenting on how it sucks that since the Yule Ball only happens every four years, their year would be the one out of every four years to only have 1 ball over their time at Hogwarts, and not 2 like everyone else.

After making sure that she was ok, I went to see Louis, who was conveniently in a compartment with James and Fred. I honestly got jealous sometimes that my brother and cousins were the same age. It was annoying not being old enough to be an adult, while not being young enough to be a kid.

"Hey guys, What's up?" I asked, poking my head into their cabin

"Hey Vic, we were just comparing what electives we chose for this year," Louis told me.

Leo then decided to join in, "Ah, I remember third year, with Hagrid in Care, and Arithmancy. I've got to be the only one who actually took that class because of the material."

"Have you seen Professor Vector?" James popped in.

"Everyone in the school fancies her," Fred added.

"It's all guys for me," Leo said with a laugh, "Guys and the actual subject of arithmancy."

"So what are you guys taking," I asked, "I know Lou is taking Care and Runes"

"While I would have liked to be in Professor Vector's class, because WOW; I'm going to ace Runes. I could probably fit right into her 4th year class with everything I've picked up from dad. Maybe I'll ask Professor Babbling about it." Louis added.

James was next. "I'm taking Care as well as Arithmancy, for obvious reasons."

It was basically a Potter-Weasley tradition to take Care of Magical Creatures, at least as long as Hagrid taught the class. All of our generation had grown up playing with Hagrid at some point or another so it would almost be sinful to not take his class.

"Same for me," Fred said.

"Let's check the map and see what the Professors are doing," James said, taking out a blank piece of parchment. "I solemnly swear I'm up to no good."

Looking at the map, we saw Professor Slughorn in his office on the 2nd floor, having moved the potions laboratory out of the basement because there needs to be open windows to help with ventilation. Professors McGonagall and Flitwick were in the Great Hall, no doubt making sure the room looked spectacular, as it was opening night.

We searched Harry's office and other places where he might be, but didn't find him or Michael on the Map.

"I guess he's just not in the castle yet," James said, checking his watch. "We do have three more hours until we arrive."

"Lets go," I said to Leo, and we walked back to our carriage to get more reading done, as well as eat a couple of pumpkin pasties before we got to Hogwarts for the last opening feast.
