In an old house in Paris, that was covered in vines,
lived thirteen little girls, in two straight lines.
They left the house at half past nine,

The older one was Riley, and the smallest was Madeline.
The girls enjoyed their walk a lot, except when it was really hot.
It was hot in the morning, and all thought the day it was too hot to study, and too hot to play.

All eleve girls said "Riley, Madeline!"
Miss Clavel said "They must have gone back to the boat!"

Pepito said "I know you wanted a great adventure Madeline, but I am scared!"
Madeline said "We cannot let them take Lord poop dock's yacht"
Riley said "Lord Poop deck? What a silly name too grown up call one another, come on boys with our disguises we can get closer now"
Steven said "Closer? Aw come on Pepito, let's catch up to the girls"
Steven, Riley, Pepito and Madeline made a vow to stop the pirates then, and now. Their rescuers hurried on the double, but soon they were in dreadful trouble.

... Pepito and Madeline had made a mistake, the terrible pirates were really fake.

And though there were some happy tears by evening, they had turned to cheer!
Graybeard said "We will hide aboard their ships, and we will take over the island, but tonight we celebrate!"

The pageants reenacted the day when the islanders chased the pirates away, or so the local legends say. There were fireworks, and bright cornetites, and there was music, and spaghetti; Soon, they were sleepy as could be.
Riley said "Madeline, manners please!"
Chloe said "Regardé!"
All the girls said "Ohh"

So they sat, and watched the waves on the sea.
Lord Cucuface said "Children, I'm glad you are safe! Now you can all enjoy a nice relaxing sail home!"
Madeline said "Please no Lord Cucuface, I want to help you sail home!"
Steven said "And Pepito, and me too!"
Riley said "Oui me too!"
All the girls said "Oui, us too!"
Lord Cucuface said "I-well perhaps you are right, a little adventure is good for boys and girls, and maybe even for Lord Cucuface too!" Laughing
