This is a brand new version of A Different Kind of Season 4 to fix some of the plot points for Book 5 and it includes One for the Books and Day of the Sorcerer.

12. Chapter 12

The Final Homecoming

In the Mystic Isles, the protectors are looking at the footage from yesterday to see if the girls missed something as something seems very off especially last night. As the protectors get a good look at Spencer, they notice that she is a fighter. In the footage, they see how she punched a guy straight to the nose. "She knows how to fight and the guy was being really inappropriate towards her". Chrysta said to them as she smirks to them.

Vega smirks as she looks at Chrysta and agrees with her. "She can definitely defend herself". Vega said to them as she was impressed by her.

Orion looks at them as he is wondering about the young woman. "It is possible that she is not magical. However, she will make a good protector and fill in if one of the girls is sick. At the same time, it does not explain why someone was targeting her though. Plus from the looks of things, Sofia and Madeline were following Spencer at a good distance. However, other people distract them to do other things". Orion said to them as he is wondering who will take the reins to train Spencer.

Vega looks at Orion as she can understand the situation. "Maybe the adults in their lives had them to do other things and not know about their training to become protectors, Orion. They are young kids for that matter". Vega said to Orion as she does prove that point.

Orion looks at Vega as he can see her point and reason about the parents stopping them. "That's true, they are young kids. Plus Princess Amber and now Olivia know their secret as well". Orion said to them as he was wondering about something else.

As they continue to watch the footage even more, it shows the confrontation in the castle infirmary as it is Baileywick that made sure that Sofia and Madeline got out of the way from Elizabeth. As the woman was coming towards Cedric, they see a special shield appearing to Baileywick in the footage as they are stunned by it. "That is not the first time that a special item like that has appeared to someone in the Enchancia Castle". Chrysta said to them as she recalled a similar item appeared to King Roland.

Orion looks at Chrysta as he looks at the item more closely as he knows what it is. "That is a Wondrous Light of the Ancients item. It must have responded to Baileywick at that time". Orion said to them as he is getting the feeling that there is more about the items that meets the eye.

Vega looks at Orion as they need to do more research about it. "It must have chosen Baileywick for a reason, Orion. It would not surprise me if there are other items that have already been chosen by the other members in the family already". Vega said to Orion as she was wondering who found them and where it was being kept.

Chrysta agrees as they continue to watch the footage as they also see the cryptic message with Elizabeth glaring at Baileywick. "That witch, she must have Prisma to watch Spencer's cottage and be a recruit for her to do it. Plus it would not surprise me if that witch had other people to find out things like where Spencer lived as well or get close to her while at Kimberly's house". Chrysta said to them as she realized that one of them could have gotten close to her.

The protectors look at each other as they realize that things have happened underneath Sofia's and Madeline's noses last night. "Pull up the footage from Spencer's neighborhood last night". Orion said to them as he needs to see if anything was done to get to Spencer and get her out of harm's way.

The protectors nod as they look at that footage as it shows the neighborhood however, a strange shield like barrier is on the entire neighborhood. All of the sudden, the footage went black like it blocked them from seeing what happened. "What in the world? The crystal ball has never done this before". Vega said to them as this is really odd and strange.

The group is stunned as they speed up the footage to get it back to normal. As it gets back to normal, it shows that it is the middle of the night as it shows a trashed and vandalized cottage. They see a woman figure who is injured as she is heading in one direction. She is not sure who is after her or following her. She distracts them as she heads into the night to a different location. "Spencer must be resourceful like that, like she was in survival mode". Vega said to them as they are getting the feeling that someone must have blocked out that part of the footage for a reason.

Chrysta agrees as she looks at them as she is wondering about it. "But still it does not explain who or what blocked our view on the footage. It is like he or she didn't want us to see what was happening". Chrysta said to Orion as she was wondering about it.

Orion looks at Chrysta as they need to call Sofia and Madeline about this. "We will call Sofia and Madeline in the morning to let them know about this". Orion said to them as they needed to make that call about it.

Back in Enchancia, it is the middle of the night as everyone is sleeping peacefully as the stakeout was a success, but it came at the price of not catching Spencer into the night. Madeline is having a unique dream as someone is planning to reach out to her.

DREAM SEQUENCE

Madeline finds herself in Enchancia like she has traveled back in time as she notices a young Spencer with her parents. She notices how she is closer with the man than with Elizabeth. 'Wow, Spencer looks so young and carefree here". Madeline thought to herself as she was wondering more about her early childhood.

A man in a strange mirror appears in the dream as he reminisces those moments as he looks at Madeline. "Those were happier times before I found out the truth about Spencer". The man said to Madeline as he got her attention.

Madeline is stunned as she notices the man in the mirror. She notices that the man in the scene and the man in the mirror are the same person. "Who are you? Plus why are you in that mirror"? Madeline asks the man as she is getting the feeling that there are deeper truths that she does not know about.

The man in the mirror looks at Madeline as he has a light smile on his face. "My name is Eric Hudson. I was sent into this mirror against my will 12 years ago. I am no longer alive in the physical world". The man named Eric said to Madeline as he revealed his name.

Madeline looks at Eric as she gets the feeling that he is the husband. "So you must have known Spencer then". Madeline said to Eric as she is wondering what he has to tell her about things.

Eric nods as he looks at Elizabeth as he deeply frowns to the woman. "Yes, Spencer is my daughter but she is not legally my adopted child or biological child". Eric said to Madeline as he revealed something to her.

Madeline looks at Eric as she is deeply confused about it. "What do you mean not your legally adopted or biological child, Eric"? Madeline asks Eric as she is getting the feeling that there is a much deeper truth about things.

Eric looks at Madeline as he needs to explain it better to her. "You see when a person or a pair of married couples adopts a child or a baby, they need to sign special papers saying that they are their real parents. However, with Spencer, the truth is that Dr. Elizabeth, my wife, should have been the ex-wife who kidnapped Spencer when she was a new born baby from her birth parents. It was a painful truth for me to swallow, and I was going to return Spencer to her real biological mother. However, Elizabeth interfered with it deeply". Eric said to Madeline as he explained to her about it.

Madeline is stunned as she learns about that truth as she deeply thinks about it. "You mean so deeply enough that you lost your life". Madeline said to Eric as she is getting the feeling that is what he means by it.

Eric looks at Madeline as he nods as it is exactly what he meant. "Yes, that is correct. You must listen to me very carefully. You have to let Kimberly to find Spencer". Eric said to Madeline as he gave her a set of instructions.

Madeline is stunned as she hears that one correctly as she looks at Eric. "What, my grandma has to find Spencer, but why? I am a person who fights for peace and justice". Madeline said to Eric as she doesn't really understand why he wants Kimberly to find Spencer. She is careful not to reveal that she is a protector in training.

Eric looks at Madeline as he can see that she is just a kid. "It is not about what you want Madeline. It is about having a special moment when life comes to a full circle between Spencer and Kimberly. Plus it will be a special moment between her and Spencer.". Eric said to Madeline as he explained things to her.

Madeline looks at Eric as she sighs as she understands that it will be something important between the two of them. "But where exactly is Spencer though? My sister and I, along with dad and friends, could not get through a strange barrier that kept us out of the neighborhood that Spencer lives in". Madeline said to Eric as she is frustrated about it.

Eric looks at Madeline as she can use a clue about where Spencer is. "I can tell you that Spencer is in a place where horses are kept. However, one of the people who did hurt her in the fight will have straw on her as a dead giveaway". Eric said to Madeline as he vanished away from the dream.

Madeline is stunned as she gets a clue about things. 'A place where horses are kept at, plus one of the people who hurt her will have straw on her as a dead giveaway'. Madeline thought to herself as it is a powerful clue as the dream ends.

END DREAM

Madeline wakes up as she doesn't have a cold sweat on her forehead as she is getting the feeling that someone who has been at Kimberly's house has been very suspicious all along. 'That person has to be Hannah. Plus if that is the case, I need to get to the manor house right away'. Madeline thought to herself as she plans to do just that.

As it is early morning at the manor house, Kimberly is already awake as Roland the first also gets up to face the day. Kimberly has her morning potion to help manage the symptoms and to give her energy. The two of them went down stairs as Hannah is already here and ready to help out with the move as she is cooking breakfast. "Good morning your majesties, breakfast will be ready soon". Hannah said to them as she is the first one here this morning.

Kimberly looks at Hannah as this is unexpected as normally Spencer gets here around this time of the morning. "Oh good morning Hannah, I thought you would have gotten here after Spencer". Kimberly said to Hannah as she has no idea that the maid is involved with a horrible crime last night.

Hannah looks at Kimberly as she nods as she got an early start. "I wanted to get an early start on things Ms. Kimberly". Hannah said to Kimberly as she is preparing breakfast for them. She has a bit more makeup on her face than she normally does.

Kimberly and Roland first look at each other as they seem to buy it. "Alright", Kimberly said to Hannah as they were starting to eat breakfast. However, they have no idea that something is amiss about things.

Back at the castle, the girls are awake as Madeline and Sofia are getting ready to head towards breakfast. They hear their enchantments going off as they go into the closet to answer the call from them. "Chrystal what's going on"? Sofia asks Chrysta as they are getting dressed.

"Well, apparently, the footage from last night in Spencer's neighborhood is blocked out to us from showing what happened to Spencer and in the neighborhood itself". Chrysta said to them as they are still trying to get it unblocked and Atticus is helping them.

Madeline is stunned and confused as she looks at Chrysta. "What, how is that even possible? We had a hard time breaking through a shield that was on the entire neighborhood. Plus Cedric said it was a control shield spell that was in the neighborhood. The person that set up the shield is the only one that can take it down.

Chrysta is stunned as she is wondering about that as she frowns. "That must mean someone didn't want us to see what was going on this whole time. By the time the footage went back to full view, it was the middle of the night and there was an injured woman figure heading one direction. We could not see the person's face". Chrysta said to Sofia and Madeline as she explained to them about the blocked out footage.

Sofia is puzzled as she is wondering who would do this and why. "I got a feeling that whoever did it knows powerful magic to pull it off". Sofia said to Chrysta as she is getting the feeling that this person is not Dr. Elizabeth.

"Yeah, we do not know where the woman went. We believe that she went into survival mode and went into hiding somewhere". Chrysta said to them as they are frustrated with this fact.

Madeline thinks as she remembers about the dream that she had. "I think Spencer is in a horse stable somewhere in the kingdom". Madeline said to Chrysta as she is ready to go as she needs to get to Kimberly's house.

"Wait a minute what"? Chrysta asks Madeline as she is really confused on where this is coming from. Sofia is really confused about things too as she is wondering about it.

Madeline looks at Sofia as she is ready to go. "A horse stable Chrysta, I think there is a horse stable at grand mum's. I got a feeling that Spencer is there". Madeline said to them as she has a notion to go to Kimberly's house now.

"Umm ok", Chrysta said to Madeline as Sofia is deeply confused about it as the call ends. The two girls left the room as they quickly went downstairs.

Downstairs, Constable Myles, Cedric, and the family are about to eat breakfast. Roland frowns as he goes to catch up to Madeline. "Madeline stopped right there. We are supposed to head over to Kimberly's house after breakfast. We told her that we will be there at 10:00 am". Roland said to Madeline as he told her that they will be there later.

Madeline looks at Roland as she shakes her head to him. "Dad, breakfast can wait right now. We have to get to Grand mum's house please. Hannah is one of the people that hurt Spencer". Madeline said to Roland as she had her suspicions about the maid from the castle.

Roland looks at Madeline as this is a huge accusation as there is little to no proof about it. "Are you sure about this Madeline"? Roland asks if he is wondering if she is right about this.

Madeline looks at Roland as she nods as she knows that the woman is up to no good. "Yes I am sure dad. We need to stop her now". Madeline said to Roland as she got going already. Miranda looks at Roland as she believes that Madeline could be on to something indeed as they all get going. Everyone gets in the carriage as Baileywick, Cedric, and Constable Miles are with them as well. They are on the way to Kimberly's house.

At Kimberly's house, breakfast is just ending as Kimberly is looking around in the house as she can't stop but to think that something might be wrong. A song is starting to play as the elderly woman Kimberly is by herself.

Today is the day that I will return to the castle one last time

It is not what I had in mind about it

Even though it is to spend my final days there

There is a lot of implications to the people that I know

The changes that will affect them very much once I pass on

I do worry about those who does not have a bright new path to go on

I do worry about those that will not handle my passing well.

It is my final homecoming and I will spend my final days knowing that I am there for them

As the song is ending, Kimberly frowns as she is getting the feeling that something is seriously wrong. "Something is wrong here. Spencer is never this late to get here in the morning". Kimberly said to Roland first as she was wondering what could have happened to her.

Roland first looks at Kimberly as it is rather concerning. "It might be that she is running behind this morning. She probably overslept and on her way here". Roland first said to Kimberly as he thinks that she overslept this morning.

Kimberly looks at Roland the first. "It is never like her to be late, dear. I can not shake the feeling that something is wrong. I am going over there right now". Kimberly said to Roland the first as she plans to go over there right now.

Hannah sees this as she frowns as this could mean that she will see that Spencer's house is completely trashed. "Miss Kimberly, should you wait on that? I mean Spencer could be on her way here as we speak". Hannah said to Kimberly as she does not want her to go to check things at Spencer's cottage.

Roland the first is getting curious about Spencer's cottage as they did get word about things last night. "That could be true, however Spencer needs to know that Elizabeth has finally been arrested last night. What really puzzled me is that there was a shield over the entire neighborhood where Spencer lives". Roland first said to Kimberly as he was wondering if there is more to Hannah that meets the eye.

Kimberly looks at Roland first as she shrugs as she is getting the feeling that there is some suspicion about all of this. Hannah sneaks out of the house as she realizes that the grand queen may be on to her. "Yeah who would do that and why though"? Kimberly asks Roland first as she is getting the feeling that there is more to this that they don't know.

Roland first looks at Kimberly as he is wondering the same thing as the two of them turn around as Hannah is not in the room anymore. "Where did Hannah go"? Roland first asks Kimberly as they realize that they are being short handed now.

Kimberly frowns as they go outside as this is getting very puzzling to say the least. "I do not know. She was just in the house just now". Kimberly said to Roland first as she notices the carriages arriving as the family and Constable Myles are here early. "Kids, I thought all of you will be here at 10:00 am this morning when it is only 8:45 am". Kimberly said to Roland as she saw that Baileywick did bring more maids and servants here.

Roland looks at Kimberly as it was Madeline's insistence to come here this morning. "We believe that Hannah is one of the people that attacked Spencer last night at her cottage". Roland said to Kimberly as Madeline nods in agreement.

Madeline looks at them as she notices Hannah is heading towards the stables. "Hannah stop right there now", Madeline said to Hannah as she notices that there is hay straw in her hair as she realizes that she must have been in the stables very recently.

Hannah turns around as she faces Madeline and the family as she gives them a look. "I thought all of you would be here around 10:00 am than right now. Is there a problem, Princess Madeline"? Hannah asks Madeline as she is playing it cool as she is trying to hide the fact that she has been working with Elizabeth.

Madeline glares at Hannah as she turns to Kimberly. "Grand mum, Spencer is in the stables. You must have been in there messing with her just like you did last night. Plus ever since you have been around at grandma's house, you have been awfully suspicious like you wanted Sofia and me away from Spencer and getting close to Spencer to gain her trust". Madeline said to Hannah as she knows that she has been up to something.

Hannah is stunned as the young princess has figured her out. "That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. There is no way that loser Spencer is in the stables". Hannah said to them as she is trying to brush off the fact that she thinks that Spencer is not in the stables.

Madeline frowns like she can see through the lie as she notices straw in her hair. "Oh yeah, then why is there hay straw in your hair"? Madeline asks Hannah as she has her.

Hannah frowns as she is making a run for it as she realizes that Spencer must have gotten some hay straw in her hair when she was trying to tie her up. "Why you little mistake princess". Hannah said to Madeline as she took off running from them.

Madeline frowns as she is making chase on the young woman as Constable Myles is going with her. "You are not getting away from me". Madeline said to Hannah as she knows that this is not exactly the right moment to use magic on her. The family nods in agreement as they need to stop Hannah as they follow Madeline and Constable Miles.

Hannah smirks as she is running as it is not long that she is surrounded by the royal family. "What, how can this be"? Hannah asks them as she glares at them as Constable Myles puts the cuffs on her.

Madeline gives a look at Hannah as she can see right through her. "You busted Hannah and you are under arrest". Madeline said to Hannah as she smirked as she got the suspicious maid.

Hannah is stunned as she scoffs at Madeline as she is being escorted by Constable Myles. "Why you little mistake princess. You didn't even realize that there was one other person that Elizabeth recruited for the things last night". Hannah said to them as she gasps as she reveals about it.

Roland frowns as he didn't know that there was another person that was involved with things last night. "Where is he"? Roland asks Hannah as he is getting the feeling that she will talk about it.

Hannah frowns as she realizes that there is no way around it. "He is in the village". Hannah said to them as she revealed where the guy was.

Roland looks at Constable Myles as he will go with them. "I will go with Constable Myles to make sure that this guy gets arrested and bring them to the castle dungeon. I will be back as soon as I can". Roland said to them as he went with them.

Miranda nods as she understands as they see Roland off with the constable as they need to check things with Kimberly. "Understood", Miranda said to Roland as she is curious about if Kimberly did find Spencer in the stables. They rush over to the stables as they need to see if Spencer is in there.

In the stables, Kimberly finds Spencer as she is covered in hay straw as she notices that she is tied up. "Spencer, how long have you been in the stables for? Plus how did you wind up here"? Kimberly asks Spencer as she is wondering how in the world that happened. Kimberly unties Spencer as it is a huge shock that the young woman was in the stables.

Spencer looks at them as she sighs as she has to tell them. "It was the middle of the night when I got here. I covered myself up with hay. The next thing I knew Hannah showed up and tied me up. My original plan was to crash for a few hours and then report in and work until I figure out a plan about my cottage alone". Spencer said to Kimberly as she stood up as they saw that she bandaged herself up and other things. Madeline has a light smile on her face as she did what Eric told her to do.

Miranda looks at Spencer as she is hearing that one correctly. "Spencer come on, let's head inside and talk. You need to take it easy". Miranda said to Spencer as they all walked with her back to the manor house.

Back at the house, the movers are getting the last bit of things carried out to the carriages. Plus Genevieve is in a trailer and ready to head towards the stables at the castle. Plus Roland returns as he sees Spencer in the living room somewhat covered in hay. "Last night, your mother was arrested and sent to the castle dungeon. Did she attack you before she came to the castle infirmary to report in for work"? Roland asks Spencer as he is wondering about it.

Spencer looks at Roland as the man looks very familiar to him like she has seen him years ago. "Yes she did. She even told me that she will taunt and thanked Baileywick for making things easier to get to me". Spencer said to Roland as she was getting angry.

Everyone in the room is a bit confused about things as they look at each other. "Yes well, we turned the tables on Elizabeth last night. Plus you will be in the castle infirmary to get you checked out. You will be just fine". Roland said to Spencer as he and Baileywick agreed.

Spencer looks at Roland as she remembers him deeply as he didn't even give her a second glance to help her. "Just fine, how can you say that when you fired a nurse 13 years ago when she removed restraints from me when I was ten years old. As for Baileywick, I don't think I even want to talk to him either". Spencer said to them as she got up from the couch as she limped and left the house as everyone was a bit confused.

Everyone is deeply confused as they look at each other as they are missing something. "Dad, what is going on? Why is Spencer very angry with you and Baileywick all the sudden"? James asks Roland as they do not know what is going on.

Amber agrees as she looks at Roland as she is even more confused about it. "Yeah dad, what up with Spencer anyways"? Amber asks Roland as Sofia and Madeline look at each other as if it is something that they did not anticipate.

Everyone is stunned and a bit confused by it as Kimberly sighs to them. "Spencer is angry, and I don't blame her. I may not know what Roland did to her, but I will explain everything back at the castle". Kimberly said to them as she followed Spencer outside. Plus Roland the first follows them out as well.

Roland looks at Miranda as he remembers about it. "It is a policy concerning the safety and care of a special person from a different kingdom getting treatment here. It has everything from restrictions on who can visit the individual and other things. That policy went into effect 15 years ago by Dr. Elizabeth. My first wife and I both signed it". Roland said to Miranda as he thinks that is what the policy is about.

Flashback

King Roland and Queen Lorelei are in the throne room as they see Dr. Elizabeth who has a concerned expression on her face as there is not a castle policy regarding the safety and care for special persons needing medical care at the infirmary. "Your majesty, it is very imperative to have a special policy in place to ensure the safety of someone from a different kingdom to receive medical care here in Enchancia. Everything from the visitors has to be on the special approved list in order to see them, restrict the doctors and nurses on duty to the special person, and lastly how they are deeply treated for their injuries. This range from special items to keep them in place, and it has a nurse keeping watch on the patient. Plus there will be medical guards to stand in front of the door. Also, this policy will be effective whether I am on duty or not on call, sick, and the worst case scenarios as well. Plus every employee in the castle infirmary has to sign it to acknowledge the policy. If they violate that policy, they are instantly fired with prejudice and blacklisted from getting another castle infirmary job again. This policy is to ensure the safety and care of the patient". Elizabeth said to Roland and Lorelei as she had deeply thought about it.

Roland and Lorelei look at each other as it is a good idea to have that kind of policy in place. "This policy is a bit extensive, Dr. Elizabeth. You are right that there needs to be safety and care for special people who need care from other kingdoms". Roland said to Dr. Elizabeth as he signed it without reading it more closely to who the special person is.

Lorelei looks at the policy as something about it feels a bit off. "Roland, don't you think that this policy is a bit extreme? I am all for the safety and care of special people from other kingdoms, but we need to closely read it". Lorelei said to Roland as she notices that Elizabeth has that poker expression on her face.

Roland looks at Lorelei as he can tell that she has some concerns about it. "The extreme about it is needed, Lorelei. Plus it will come up very solemnly, so there is no reason to be worried about it". Roland said to Lorelei as he wants her to sign it.

Lorelei looks at Roland as something in her gut telling her that it is a horrible policy. "Alright, if something happens that is a ramification of this policy, I will permanently remove it". Lorelei said to Roland as she gave a look to Dr. Elizabeth as she also signed the policy.

Dr. Elizabeth looks at them as Roland notarizes the policy and goes into full effect. "Thank you King Roland and Queen Lorelei, this policy will be used accordingly". Dr. Elizabeth said to them as she walked away with an evil smirk on her face.

End Flashback

Miranda is stunned by this as she is wondering about it. "Did anything happen with the policy though? Was there an instance where someone was fired for violating it"? Miranda asks Roland as she is wondering about it.

Roland looks at Miranda as he thinks back about it. "There was one time that a nurse who was the watch nurse on a patient that got brought in some time ago. The patient was a 10 year old girl from Novanima. The nurse violated the policy when she was removing restraints from the patient". Roland said to Miranda as he realizes that something was amiss that whole time.

Flashback

Roland sighs as he had to come to the castle infirmary to deal with a watch nurse as she violated the policy. "Nurse Judy, you are in violation of Code S Protocol. You are here fired from this castle and blacklisted from working at another castle infirmary. Please get your things and leave". Roland said to Nurse Judy as he notices the girl in bed as she wants to get the restraints off.

Nurse Judy is stunned as she looks at Roland. "King Roland please, that poor girl is restrained to the bed. She asked me to remove those restraints. She looks deeply miserable in bed and needs to move around. That policy is not for the safety and care of special people from other kingdoms. That is child abuse". Nurse Judy said to Roland as she wants him to wake up and see what this policy is doing to the girl.

Roland looks at the nurse as he merely glances at the girl as he is only thinking about the policy. "Sorry but those items are what got you in trouble in the first place, Nurse Judy. You are fired". Roland said to Nurse Judy as he instantly fired her.

Nurse Judy looks at Roland as she is upset and angry. "How can you call yourself a father to be, your majesty. However from my eyes and this girl named Spencer, you are a cold and heartless monster. If that is your child in that bed, you will want to remove that policy and fire and arrest the one who created it in the first place". Nurse Judy said to Roland as she leaves the castle infirmary as Dr. Elizabeth smirks as the policy is working.

In the room, Roland looks at the girl as she has a horrified expression on her face as she feels deeply betrayed by him. He leaves the room without a second glance as another nurse comes in and places the restraints on her.

End Flashback

Roland is stunned as he is getting the feeling on who the 10 year old girl is from back then. "Oh no, that 10 year old little girl was Spencer all along. I never realized that she is the one and the same girl from back then. She must have remembered me all along". Roland said to Miranda as he is upset as he realizes about things.

Miranda looks at Roland as she is stunned that he did something like that to her. "Roland, how could you? That nurse did what Spencer asked her to do. Yet you upheld a castle policy and fired the nurse". Miranda said to Roland as she is deeply disappointed in him.

Roland looks at Miranda as he is deeply guilty about it. "Nurse Judy told me that policy is not what it is supposed to do. I didn't fully read what it truly does". Roland said to Miranda as he has to make things right with Spencer.

Miranda frowns as she gives Roland a look as she shakes her head to him. "Roland, so help me, you are going to make things right. We are going to get Lady Agatha and bring her with us". Miranda said to Roland as she was angry that he did that.

Roland looks at Miranda as he nods as the policy that he and his first Wife signed has come back to get him back. "Yes dear, driver, take us to Hexley Hall". Roland said to the coachman as they do need to take some actions about things.

"Yes your majesty", the coachman said to Roland as they headed towards Hexley Hall. As they get Lady Agatha, they explain to her that Elizabeth has been fired and arrested. Lady Agatha went with them back to the castle infirmary as she has the special snowflake with her.

Back at the castle infirmary, Kimberly frowns as she is in the waiting room area the doctor is still treating Spencer as she has not been told what kind of injuries that she has let alone the protocol is. She notices Roland, Miranda, and a woman with her as she is deeply confused about what is going on. "Roland, what in the world is this protocol that you foolishly signed"? Kimberly asks Roland as she is wondering about it.

Roland looks at Kimberly as Lady Agatha is deeply confused about it as she looks at him. "It is supposed to ensure the safety and care for special people from other kingdoms if they get hurt and need treatment here. Mom, this is Lady Agatha, the headmistress of Hexley Hall''. Roland said to Kimberly as he brought her along with them. "We need to go into Elizabeth's old office now". Roland said to them as they went that way. The four of them went into Elizabeth's former office as it has not been cleared out yet. Roland looks at the bookshelf as he is finding a castle policy book for the castle infirmary. He went to the section called Code S Protocol. He frowns as the title of it is actually Code Spencer Protocol and the strict restrictions on her own child while being treated at the castle infirmary including the strict restraints and only the doctor in charge of the patient or Dr. Elizabeth herself are the only ones that can remove the restraints not the nurse. "Lorelei and I signed that policy into effect to ensure the safety and care of special people from outside of the kingdom to get medical care. However, it is a policy to trap and control Spencer while she was getting treatment here at the castle infirmary. The nurse that I fired called me a cold and heartless monster back then, and she was right". Roland said to Miranda as he feels guilty about it.

Miranda looks at Roland as she finds a list of infirmary staff who signed the acknowledgment of the Code S Protocol as all of them signed it like she kept a record of it. "Roland, you need to make things right with Spencer and Nurse Judy wherever she might be". Miranda said to Roland as she wants him to do something.

Roland looks at Miranda as he agrees as this policy needs to be abolished. "You are right about that Miranda. I got so deeply fooled by this. I signed it not realizing what it actually was. Plus when Spencer called me out earlier at Kimberly's house, there is no doubt in my mind, she is the same girl that I ignored the fact that she was going back to be restrained again back then". Roland said to Miranda as he has a full mind to get that policy and rip it out.

Miranda looks at Roland as she nods as she is angry with him. "Roland, Spencer is probably restrained right now. Also, Dr. Smith needs to be shown that Elizabeth is not Spencer's true mother all along". Miranda said to Roland as that needs to be done. Kimberly and Lady Agatha nod as they need to see her.

Roland looks at the women as he knows that things need to be done as they see Dr. Smith coming out from the room as they see orderlies blocking the door. "Dr. Smith, we need to see Spencer right now. The Code S Protocol will be put to an end and void today". Roland said to Dr. Smith as they need to see Spencer now.

Dr. Smith looks at the group as he is perplexed as he has Spencer's medical chart in his hands. "What, I was going to update Dr. Elizabeth about Spencer's condition and let her know that the code is being carried out just like the letter said that I got this morning when I came into my office". Dr. Smith said to them as he is confused on what is going on.

Roland looks at Dr. Smith as he knows that he was not on call or on duty last night. "Dr. Elizabeth was fired and arrested last night, Dr. Smith. May I see this letter? Also, the protocol was put in place 15 years ago" Roland said to Dr. Smith as they head towards his office as he is getting the feeling that he was not notified about Elizabeth's firing and arrest. .

Dr. Smith looks at Roland as he realizes things as he remembers about it. "15 years ago, that is when Dr. Elizabeth first started here at the castle infirmary. She used that policy to control the other staffers and made them sign it in acknowledgment of the policy. She even got me to sign it because she said that I would not like the consequences. I remember 2 years later when a nurse was leaving and crying. She told me that the Code S Protocol is nothing but trouble". Dr. Smith said to Roland as he realized things as the four of them went into his office.

Roland looks at Dr. Smith as he needs to make things right with the nurse that he foolishly fired. "I remember well now. It is time to change that because I am a father now. Plus, I owe Spencer and Nurse Judy a serious apology". Roland said to Dr. Smith as she realized that he made a huge mistake.

Dr. Smith looks at Roland as he grabs the letter to hand to Roland. "It is strange though. This morning, I got a letter saying that the Code S Protocol is now in effect and to go pick up Spencer from Kimberly's house. The thing is it was signed by Elizabeth but the time of the letter being written was around 7:30 pm. I did not know that Dr. Elizabeth was fired and arrested until you told me about it today". Dr. Smith said to Roland as he truly didn't know about the firing and arresting.

Roland looks at the letter as the time of writing was last night around 7:30 and handwritten by Elizabeth herself. "Someone must have known that Spencer was going to be at my mother's house all along this morning". Roland said to Dr. Smith as he realizes that there was another person involved with things that has not been revealed and identified.

Dr. Smith is stunned as he looks at the letter as Miranda, Lady Agatha, and Kimberly look at each other as if they are missing something. "But who could that be King Roland? That protocol got put into place as disguise to trick and fool all of us. Plus but who could that be"? Dr. Smith asks Roland as he got duped in carrying out the order.

Roland looks at Dr. Smith as he realizes that he needs to investigate this deep "My guess it is a friend or a recruit of Dr. Elizabeth's". Roland said to Dr. Smith as he needs to make things right with Spencer first.

Dr. Smith looks at Roland as he sighs as he needs to make things right. "Of course, what should I do in the meantime, your majesty"? Dr. Smith asks Roland as he needs to get back to work.

Roland nods as he looks at the doctor as things need a serious overhaul as they only got to the main surface of the things that Dr. Elizabeth is hiding in her former office. "I want you to get Dr. Kim and report into Spencer's room. There are things that need to be revealed about her. Also I want you to tell every infirmary staff member who is here today that Code S Protocol is hereby abolished and void". Roland said to Dr. Smith as things needed to be done first.

Dr. Smith nods as he will get on it as Dr. Kim is here as they went to the guarded room. The orderlies are told that the protocol is void as they leave the area to do other work. They walk in the room as they see Spencer restrained to the bed as Lady Agatha is stunned to see Spencer that way as she is bandaged up. "Spencer, I owe you a serious apology from what happened 13 years ago. I had no idea that the protocol that was in place was meant to control you while you were in the infirmary back then. I honestly did not recognize you back then. When you called me out at Kimberly's house, you did not forget what I did to that nurse and you as well. Do you forgive me"? Roland asks Spencer as he is deeply fooled about a policy that he and his first wife signed.

Spencer looks at Roland as she nods to him as she notices the woman next to Kimberly. "I was put in this infirmary twice growing up. Once when I was 10 years old and again when I was 13 years old, King Roland the second, both times, I was restrained by my mother's orders. Dr. Smith looks at Spencer as he looks at her chart and other records about it. "That is correct, you and your dad were in a carriage crash when you were ten. Plus when you were 13 years old, you got brought in from a fight that you endured at school". Dr. Smith said to Spencer as he reviewed the chart. Spencer nods as she looks at them. "That protocol is abolished and void. The restraints are coming off". Dr. Smith said to Spencer as he and the nurses are removing them.

Lady Agatha looks at Spencer as she is shocked that there was a castle policy that had Spencer controlled that way by Dr. Elizabeth. She watches the restraints coming off as she looks at the doctors. Roland looks at Dr. Smith as all of the restraints have been removed. "Dr. Smith, will you go get Claire and bring her in here please"? Roland asks Dr. Smith as this needs to be done.

Dr. Smith looks at Roland as he gets the orders and leaves the room. Spencer looks at the group as she sighs as she is free and other things. "Claire as in my Aunt Claire, is she here in the infirmary as well"? Spencer asks them as she remembers about her aunt that she has not seen in 12 years.

Roland looks at Spencer as this is going to be hard to explain to her. "Yes Claire is here Spencer. Spencer, I know that you feel like your life has been turned upside down right now. However, there is some news that will turn it upside down even more. Plus this news is the truth as well". Roland said to Spencer as he started to explain things to her.

Spencer looks at Roland as she is kind of skeptical about it at first as it is not long that Claire arrives in the room. "Spencie Pie, it is you. It is really you. You have grown up so much". Claire said to Spencer as she is happy to see her. She went to her bedside as she looked at her face as her eye was somewhat swollen.

Spencer looks at Claire as she smiles at her as she is pleased to see her. "Yes it is me, Aunt Claire. When dad died, mother said that you, grandmother, and grandfather had other plans and could not make it to the funeral". Spencer said to Claire as the adults in the room were sitting down for this.

Elizabeth that horrible witch of a woman is not your real mother, and Eric is not your real father either". Claire said to Spencer as she revealed that part of the truth.

He was planning to divorce Elizabeth and to bring you back to her in the Kingdom of Norberg. It is strongly evident that Elizabeth had Eric killed before the trip ". Claire said to Spencer as it is a shocking revelation to her.

Spencer looks at Claire as she remembers about it. "What, I remember that my dad or Eric was planning a trip just him and me to that particular kingdom, but he got killed in that accident before we could leave for the trip. Is that why you and dad's parents couldn't come to the funeral"? Spencer asks Claire as she realizes that is the reason why they never came.

Claire looks at Spencer as she nods as she realizes that Elizabeth had a hand in things. "Yes it was dear. What happened when you were 13 for Mother's Day weekend"? Claire asks Spencer as she is wondering what could have happened.

Spencer is stunned as she learns about it as it explains so much about things. "What, Elizabeth told me that you and the grandparents had other plans. She didn't allow me to come to visit you during the summer. When I was 13 years old, I was getting the feeling that Elizabeth was not normal and being super controlling was borderline abusive. I got a letter from my grandfather at school like he found out where I went to school. It was the only communication that I got from them after dad died. I remember it saying that you need to come see Claire during Mother's Day weekend. There is a lot of truth that you didn't know. You can not tell your mother. I decided that it was a chance to escape from Elizabeth and start a new life with Claire. However, I was on my way to Claire's house when Elizabeth caught me. She found the letter that grandfather sneakily sent to me. It was the worst Mother's Day weekend of my life. It was my only attempt to escape from her clutches''. Spencer said to them as she does not want to talk about it further.

Claire looks at Spencer as she sighs as she is getting the feeling that Elizabeth deeply mistreated her. "Oh Spencer, you must have been put through horrible things by that woman during that Mother's Day weekend. The day after you turned 18, I went over to rescue you and to get you out of there. Elizabeth told me that you left Enchancia for parts unknown. I have spent the last 5 years looking for you only to find out that you were in the kingdom this whole time". Claire said to Spencer as she reveals that she has been searching for her.

Spencer looks at Claire as she shrugs as she doesn't have much of a life right now. "What, that is what Elizabeth told you. She kicked me out of home on my 18th birthday for refusing to go into medical school. I had to survive on my own, and after that I met Kimberly. It has been history ever since. Elizabeth forbade me to follow dad or Eric's footsteps in sorcery". Spencer said to Claire as she realized that Elizabeth kept a façade of secrets and lies.

Lady Agatha looks at Spencer as she lightly smiles at her as she sees the blue gray eyes as she lightly smiles at her. It reminds her of someone very deeply who she loved. "My name is Lady Agatha. That woman Elizabeth is truly a criminal. The people that raised you did not adopt you especially through legal ways. The truth is that you were kidnapped from your biological parents when you were a newborn baby". Lady Agatha said to Spencer as the doctors are stunned as Roland and Miranda hands them the real birth certificate.

Spencer looks at Lady Agatha as she is stunned by it. "Who kidnapped me and why"? Spencer asks Lady Agatha as she didn't expect this one. "Did dad or Eric was involved with it or not"? Spencer asks Lady Agatha as she never knew about it.

Lady Agatha looks at Spencer as she grabs out the snowflake that she made back then. She also grabs out the wanted poster of Dr. Elizabeth. "It was Elizabeth that kidnapped you. Eric was not involved with the kidnapping and found out the truth. The truth is that he was going to return you to your real biological mother". Lady Agatha said to Spencer as she placed the wanted poster of Elizabeth in Wimonia.

Spencer looks at Lady Agatha as she looks at the wanted poster of Elizabeth in front of her. "What, why would Elizabeth kidnap me? Are you my real biological mother"? Spencer asks Lady Agatha as she is wondering about it as everything is starting to make sense to her.

Lady Agatha looks at Spencer as she smiles at her as she can see Patrick in her. "Yes I am Spencer. Everything will become clear and make sense soon enough. I want you to touch this snowflake ok". Lady Agatha said to Spencer as she wanted her to touch it.

Spencer looks at the snowflake as she notices the kind smile on Lady Agatha's face as she is sensing that the woman is truly kind. "Ok", Spencer said to Lady Agatha as she was wondering about it. As Spencer and Lady Agatha touch the snowflake, it is glowing brightly like it recognizes the both of them as mother and daughter. It swirls and dances between her and Lady Agatha. It shows an imagery scene of Spencer being born and placed on Lady Agatha's chest as Prince Patrick is with them at that moment as well.

Everyone is stunned and moved as they see a 30 year old prince kissing Lady Agatha on the cheek as they welcome their baby into the world. As the imagery scene ends and the glowing slowly disappears, everyone is stunned as Spencer looks at Lady Agatha as she is deeply surprised by it.

Spencer looks at Lady Agatha as she smiles at her as she never realized that the woman is actually her real biological mother. "That man next to you in the image scene. Was that my birth father? Plus, are you a sorceresses"? Spencer asks Lady Agatha as she is wondering about it.

The man next to me is Prince Patrick of Wimonia. Wimonia has different royal laws from other kingdoms". Lady Agatha said to Spencer as she reveals that she had a romantic relationship with a royal back in the day.

Claire is stunned as she didn't know this as Roland and Miranda are equally surprised about it. Spencer looks at Lady Agatha as she realizes something else. "Elizabeth knew that Spencer is royal born all along and kept that from Eric all along". Claire said to them as she is furious that Elizabeth got away with kidnapping a royal all this time.

Lady Agatha looks at Claire as she can tell that the woman is angry. "Yes, however, due to her age, Spencer is actually a duchess". Lady Agatha said to Claire as they realized that there was a royal in plain sight all along.

Spencer looks at them as she is in shock from it as she sits up to get out of bed. "A duchess, Elizabeth lied to me all my life. She has made my life miserable and robbed me of a life that could have been. She and dad, I mean Eric, even named me with a boy's name. I am going to confront her right now". Spencer said to them as she is ready to put her feet to touch the floor.

Lady Agatha looks at Spencer as it is not the right time to tell her what her real name is on top of the truth that she got told about already. "Spencer dear, you just learned a lot of upsetting truth about that horrible woman today. I want you to process all of it, but when the time is right I will tell you your first name". Lady Agatha said to Spencer as she does not want to overwhelm her any further.

Spencer looks at Lady Agatha as she is getting tired as she takes some medicine for the pain. "Fair enough", Spencer said to Lady Agatha as she lay back down. Her eyes are getting heavy as she is ready to drift off to sleep.

Lady Agatha looks at Spencer as she lightly smiles at her. "Good now sleep my child, you are safe now. I promise you. You will be in good hands with the right doctor". Lady Agatha said to Spencer as the other adults agreed with her. Spencer nods as she drifts off to sleep as she is finally sleeping.

The group leaves the room as the doctor looks at them. Dr. Smith looks at Lady Agatha as he gets completely moved by the image scene as there is something that he needs to talk to her about. He pulls her aside as they go into his office privately "Lady Agatha, Spencer has some deep bruises on her chest and stomach, a black eye , a dislocated shoulder, a broken wrist, and her knee is twisted. The ones that did it to her really did a number on her. However, there is something that I found in the examination that is concerning". Dr. Smith said to Lady Agatha as he was wondering about it.

Lady Agatha looks at Dr. Smith as she is wondering about the concerning part. "What is it? Plus you can heal her right"? Lady Agatha asks Dr. Smith as he is wondering about it.

The group looks at each other and they learn the extent of the injuries. "Yes I can heal her, Lady Agatha. Despite what she went through, she put up a fight on her own. There are some tattoo-like marks on her wrist, ankle, back of her neck and back. These marks are about 10 years old, possibly happened during that Mother's day weekend". Dr. Smith said to Lady Agatha as he showed her the image of the tattoo marks on Spencer.

Lady Agatha looks at the images as she has seen these kinds of marks before however, they were on remains in the catacombs of Wimonia and fairly recent. "Oh dear, I have seen those kinds of marks before. I just never imagined it would be on someone like my own daughter. When you heal Spencer, is it possible that the marks will be reversed and back to normal"? Lady Agatha asks Dr. Smith as she has been stumped on how it can be reversed.

Dr. Smith looks at Lady Agatha as he is stunned by that one. "It might be possible, but I do not know where those marks came from"? Dr. Smith asks Lady Agatha as he needs to do some research about it and asks Spencer about that horrible time when she was 13 years old.

The other adults look at Lady Agatha as they are wondering what in the world was that about. Kimberly looks at them as it is time to explain to the kids about things. Claire is released by Dr. Kim as they return to the main part of the castle.

In the dining room, the family including Tilly, Bartleby, Baileywick, Cedric, Claire, Lady Agatha, and Kimberly are sitting together as some cookies are placed in front of the kids especially James. Amber looks at them as she is wondering what is going on. "Grandma, what's going on exactly? When Spencer gotten really angry, she glared deeply at Baileywick like he was the one that did something wrong also she also gotten angry at dad for something that happened years ago". Amber asks Kimberly as they are a bit confused.

Kimberly looks at them as she sighs as she looks at them. "Well dear, the truth is that all of you in some capacity feed Spencer to Elizabeth. Plus your father also betrayed Spencer when she was just a kid in the castle infirmary". Kimberly said to the family as she revealed that part of the truth.

Everyone at the table is stunned as they look at Roland as they are shocked by it. "Dad, what did you do exactly"? Madeline asks Roland as everyone is wondering what happened back then.

Sofia agrees with Madeline as she looks at Kimberly as there is one thing that she does not understand. "How to be a grandmother? We all wanted Spencer to be out of harm's way". Sofia asks Kimberly as she is wondering about it.

Roland looks at them as he has to explain things to them. "This took place before Amber and James were born. Queen Lorelei and I signed a new castle policy for the castle infirmary. We were told that this policy is to ensure the safety and care for special people from other kingdoms that needed medical care. However, it turns out it is a policy to fully control and restrict Spencer while she was in the infirmary to receive medical care. This protocol included restraints on her and to fire anyone who violated the policy, I fired a nurse for violating it because she was removing the restraints from Spencer. I did not know the girl back then was Spencer, and I did betray her back then. That protocol is no longer in effect. That protocol was created by Dr. Elizabeth herself". Roland said to them as he revealed that part of the truth.

She told me about her mother and how she was kicked out on her 18th birthday. That bag had her important documents and blanket, pillow, toiletries, and a few outfits. She carried it with her daily because she wouldn't know if it was there by the time she got back from work. She explained to me that her mother often berated her at the tree. That woman found her during the day. It was then I had Spencer stay here until she got enough for the cottage to live in. We occasionally see Elizabeth in the village. When she always berated Spencer, yet Spencer always defended me like she didn't want that woman to drag me into it. There were a few occasions that women wanted me to betray and turn my back on Spencer. She didn't want anyone to stand by Spencer and be a true friend to her. When Spencer got enough money to get the cottage, she got stuff on her own to fill the cottage to feel homey. At the same time, she didn't leave my house for the day until I went to bed because we both knew that Elizabeth will try to visit her at her cottage. Through it all, Spencer managed to get to work on time and gotten home very late at night. Of course, when that letter came to Roland the first and when Baileywick first met Spencer and told your parents about her back that is when everything changed for the worse. The additional help forced Spencer to head home earlier than late at night this losing that safety net that Spencer had because she And I both knew that Elizabeth would get to her during the day. When you and Madeline asked me about Spencer and who was watching her house, I had a suspicion that Elizabeth was sneaking around to find Spencer's cottage and had some sort of help to do it to get Spencer's guard down. Also she also has her reasons and experiences to work alone that no one would understand. I did not press the issue on things because it was not my place to push things. It is possible that Spencer experienced more betrayals by other people in life besides King Roland that we don't know about. Being betrayed by a friend is one thing, but being betrayed by a stranger to her is another thing". Cedric said to them as he can understand things.

Baileywick looks at Cedric as he realizes that Cedric respected her personal business while he did not. "I see that now". Baileywick said to Cedric as he was wondering about that one.

Sofia looks at Cedric as she looks at Kimberly. "No wonder Spencer looked so uncomfortable with the questions that I asked her during the dinner that Friday night. Miranda looks at the kids as this is going into grown up territory as things need to be discussed. "Kids, could we grown ups talk for a few minutes". Miranda said to them as Tilly and Bartleby do not know the truth about Spencer.

James looks at Miranda as Roland nods to the kids as this is something that needs to be done. "Umm sure mom", James said to them as the kids were going to be sent out of the room.

Miranda looks at James as the adults need to talk. "Thank kids, Baileywick will come get you when it is ok to come back". Miranda said to them as Baileywick will get them. The kids leave the room as they head towards the playroom.

In the playroom, the kids are together as the adults are having more grown up talk. "I am in disbelief that dad approved a castle policy that Dr. Elizabeth created so she can control Spencer when at the castle infirmary when she was a kid". Madeline said to them as she is getting used to the fact that Roland did that.

Sofia looks at Madeline as it is a heartbreaking truth as she has a question. "Yes and Madeline, I have a question. How did you know where to look for Spencer ''? Sofia asks Madeline as she is wondering about that one.

Madeline looks at Sofia as she has a sheepish expression on her face. "Well when I saw the straw in Hannah's hair, I had to tell Grandma where to look to find Spencer''. Madeline said to Sofia as she gave them that small explanation.

Amber looks at Madeline as she is thinking about what happened that morning as they did have breakfast late. "Yeah but Maddie, did you tell dad about it"? Amber asks Madeline as she is wondering what this was about this morning.

Madeline looks at Amber as she nods about it. "I told dad that Spencer is somewhere at Grandma's house and Hannah has something to do with it. Yet at the same time, dad did not stay long enough to listen. He went off with Constable Myles to get some other guy who was also involved with things''. Madeline said to Amber.

James looks at Madeline as he is dismayed that is the reason to get to grandma's that fast. "You mean you rushed all of us to get grandma's house to prove that Hannah was up to no good all along? You could have eaten breakfast with all of us and gotten to grandma's house at the time that she wanted to". James said to Madeline as he does not understand how she did that to them.

Madeline looks at James as she sighs as she shakes her head to him. "I could not let Hannah get away with things to Spencer, James". Madeline said to James as she was impatient.

Amber looks at them as she does feel bad for Spencer. Bad mothers do exist in the world. At the same time, it makes me wonder if there are others that simply don't have a mother either". Amber said to them as she was wondering about it.

Madeline said to them as she first explained about the dream.

James looks at Madeline as that is the reason for things this morning. "A dream that would explain why you were in a hurry this morning and pulled us away from breakfast". James said to Madeline as he does not like it when the morning routine has drastically changed.

Madeline looks at James as she sighs as he won't drop about the breakfast. "Things took a strange turn when I saw a man trapped in a mirror. The man in the mirror and the man with Spencer and Elizabeth is the same person". Madeline said to them as she explained the eerie and mystery of the dream itself.

The kids are stunned as they look at Madeline as that is really spooky on some levels. "Say what, how can it be possible being the same person though. I mean what kind of mirror was he trapped in"? James asks Madeline as he is wondering about it.

Madeline nods as she looks at them as it is the mysterious part to her too. "He didn't tell me what kind of mirror it was though. Plus, he also told me that he and Dr. Elizabeth are not Spencer's real parents legally adoptive or related to her by blood either". Madeline said to them as she reveals that part to them as it is a huge clue about Spencer's past.

The kids are stunned as they look at Madeline; it is something that they never thought about before. "What, how is that possible? If Spencer is not truly theirs then that means, something must have happened to Spencer long ago". Amber said to them as they realize that this mystery is getting a bit deeper than they thought it is going to be.

James looks at Madeline as he is a bit more perplexed about it. "Wait what, why did he want grandma to find Spencer instead of you? I mean you would have questioned it and fought about it". James said to Madeline as Sofia agreed about it.

Plus this needs to be done before Tilly's wedding the next upcoming weekend". Kimberly said to Madeline as this is something that needs to be done.

Madeline looks at Kimberly as she is stunned as she looks at James. "What, isn't the future king of Enchancia James, grandma? I don't understand why this is being talked about now". Madeline said to Kimberly as she was wondering about it.

James is stunned as he learns that it is actually Amber that will be the next queen of Enchancia. "Amber, no way, I don't understand. How did dad get to be the king? That would have to mean that Tilly would have been queen since she is older than dad". James said to them as he realizes that something must have happened back to them.

Roland looks at Amber as he realizes that he does have a daughter who has felt deeply hurt and left out of things. "I am sorry that you felt that way Amber. I promise you that you will learn about things". Roland said to Amber as he realizes that she has changed from the mean and selfish girl years ago.

Tilly looks at James as she has to explain things to him. "That is true. When the crown was presented to me years ago, I actually turned it down". Tilly said to them as she reveals that part of the truth to them as it is a huge revelation.

James is stunned to learn that she truly turned down the crown to do something else with her life. "What, why Aunt Tilly"? James asks Tilly as there is a hidden truth about things.

Tilly looks at James as she knows that he needs to know what exactly happened. "The truth is, I wanted to become an adventurer, and I knew that Roland would be the better ruler than me. The crown went to your father and he became king. He thought the crown went to the first born son not to the first born child from the law in the book". Tilly said to James as she further explained things to him. .

James looks at Tilly as he learns the truth about what she did back then. "Oh I get it now". James said to them as he feels bad about things.

Amber looks at them as this law is a huge eye opener for her. "So that means, I will be queen of Enchancia someday". Amber said to them as she realizes that her future is looking brighter for her after all.

Kimberly looks at Amber as she smiles as things are being settled again. "Yes dear, that is correct. You will be the future queen and the crown princess". Kimberly said to Amber as she explained it to her.

James frowns as he looks at the adults. "I just don't understand. I just learned about the law and how it is written. It feels like my life has turned upside down already before graduation day. Plus Amber rather thinks about tiaras and dresses than cares about the people". James said to them as he is upset about things.

As everyone looks at each other as things start to argue between Amber and James. Kimberly looks at James as she needs to talk to him. "James, let's take a walk". Kimberly said to James as she wants to talk to him in private.

James looks at Kimberly as he sighs as he goes with her. "Alright grand mum", James said to Kimberly as he was upset about things. The rest of them stay behind in the room to continue to talk. They walk to the throne room where the stained glass window is. "James, I understand how you feel like your life has been turned upside down right now. In fact, Spencer also feels like her life has been turned upside down as well for different reasons too". Kimberly said to James as they look at the window as they look at it together.

James looks at Kimberly as he looks at the stained glass window as it shows him with a shield and a sword. "Yeah it just I was told that I will be king only to find out about the stupid law". James said to Kimberly as he is frustrated about it.

Kimberly looks at James as she needs to explain things to him. "James, I told Spencer this quote this morning. "When one door closes, another door opens". Kimberly said to James as she wants him to understand that there is a better opportunity for him.

In Spencer's case, it starts a brand new chapter in her life especially after the hard life she endured at the hands of that horrible woman Elizabeth". Kimberly said to James as she explained things to him.

James looks at Kimberly as he never thought about it like that before. "Wow, I cannot imagine what it was like for her though. I mean she is a tough cookie too. Plus, Amber will need a knight to protect the kingdom as well. Plus, I have improved a lot as a knight as well". James said to Kimberly as he thought about it further. "Now that I think about things, I would have messed up things when it comes to greeting royal from other kingdoms and magical creatures at the wedding". James said to Kimberly as he realizes that he will get out of things.

Kimberly looks at James as she can understand that as well. "That's right James, Amber will be doing the things that you would call boring". Kimberly said to James as she grins and her voice is getting low.

James looks at Kimberly as he notices something kind of off about things. "Thanks grandma for helping me see things from a different perspective. Also are you feeling alright? Your voice is getting low". James asks Kimberly as something is off with her.

Kimberly looks at James as she nods as she lightly smiles to him. "Your welcome James, I am fine. It has been a long day with the move". Kimberly said to James as she must have exerted herself a bit much today from trying to keep up with Madeline. As they rejoin the family, things are starting to look up for them. However, they have no idea that another wave of evil is coming.

As the rest of Sunday goes by Madeline notices that Kimberly has been spending a lot of time with Spencer in the castle infirmary. She understands that Spencer is injured right now, and Kimberly needs to stay with her. As Monday rolls around, Madeline is starting to get jealous about things as she wants to know why Spencer is stealing time with Kimberly away from her.

It is a day after the move as the kids are home from school. Madeline notices that Kimberly is not with the other adults as she is curious where her grandma is. "Mom, where is grand mum at"? Madeline asks Miranda as she is wondering where Kimberly is right now.

'Great now Spencer is stealing my time away from grand mum. Why is she so special? She is just a maid for heaven sake'. Madeline thought to herself as she is not liking this not one bit. She plans to crash a visit with them the very next day.

That Tuesday afternoon in the castle infirmary, Kimberly and Spencer are together as the healing process is going kind of slow. The doctors are baffled by the marks on her wrists, feet, back, and the back of the neck as it can't be healed with a healing spell. Spencer sighs as she looks at Kimberly. "I hate how everything turned out this way. Plus I feel so displaced right now. My cottage is a mess and Baileywick will have me sleep in the maid's quarters once I get out of her". Spencer said to Kimberly as she looked at the bandages on her wrists.

Kimberly looks at Spencer as she knows that she feels frustrated about things. " I know dear, and that is natural. Baileywick will not place you in the maid quarters. You will be in my room with me. It seems like Madeline is getting too jealous now. Plus my ex Husband is no help because all he knows how to do is play chess with James". Kimberly said to Spencer as she has some frustrations right now.

Spencer looks at Kimberly as she sighs as she wants to see things. "I just want to see what the damage is and write down what needs to be done and to fix it up. I like how you, Lady Agatha, and Claire are taking turns to visiting me. Madeline does not understand how much you have done for me and how I prepaid you over the last few years". Spencer said to Kimberly as she is wondering when she will understand.

Kimberly looks at Spencer as she sighs as she knows that the young woman is a deeply selfless person. "Spencer please, Madeline is just a kid right now. Sooner or later, she will understand". Kimberly said to Spencer as she wants her to see her as a young kid not a kid who is about to become a preteen.

Spencer looks at Kimberly with an obvious expression on her face as she needs to be blunt with her. "Yes but when though, from what you told me, she is a ten year old girl and going to turn 11 later in the year. A kid at 11 year old is too old to be coddled with and needs a reality check". Spencer said to Kimberly as she will not put up with someone begging things.

Kimberly looks at Spencer as she knows that she can be blunt and honest at times. "Spencer, Madeline will need you more when I leave alright". Kimberly said to Spencer as she wants her to place Madeline first before the other kids.

Spencer looks at Kimberly as she understands she will probably need to work with all of them in some way or form. "Ok but I will want to spend time with them equally and not put one over the other. I am not going to play favorites with them". Spencer said to Kimberly as she is not going to play favorites.

Kimberly looks at Spencer as she can see that is not going to place one child over the other. "Well can you blame the grand kids? I mean they haven't seen me in so longs"? Kimberly asks Spencer as she does not get to see them all that often.

Spencer signs to Kimberly as she does not get on what she is trying to tell her. "Not really, but is it really fair to put one kid above the others though? When you told me about your grandkids, you always told me about Princess Madeline more than the others. Plus haven't you expressed that you want to spend time with the others to Madeline directly to her ''? Spencer asks Kimberly as she is wondering if the grandmother has expressed it.

Kimberly looks at Spencer as she sighs as she needs to tell her. "I have tried to spend time with all four grandkids, but it seems like three of them like to spend time with Grandpa, and Madeline, well she does spend more time with me. The older kids are doing their own stuff now, but Madeline is still the younger one where she doesn't care about boys and make up yet. I have one more thing I need to do before I leave. I used to have my childhood bedroom here in the castle". Kimberly said to Spencer as she explained to her about it.

Spencer looks at Kimberly as she is getting the feeling on where this is going. "You want that room to be cleaned for Madeline to have right". Spencer said to Kimberly as she figured it out really easily.

Kimberly looks at Spencer as she nods as she likes how she puts two and two together very easily. "Yes, that is correct. Truth is that Sofia needs her space now, and the kids can't keep sharing a bathroom anymore. The girl's bodies are changing." Kimberly explains to Spencer as she has her reasons for it.

I am just saying that the other kids are just important as well, plus you should have a special moment with each one of them, not just Madeline ``''. Spencer said to Kimberly as she wants her to spend time with them equally, not all of it on Madeline.

Also there will be a time limit to how long the punishment will last. It depends on the things that you did wrong and the severity of things. For example, if it is something minor, just a day or two with no desserts. If it is something bad or major, it will be a lot longer than that". Roland said to them as he explained about it.

Back in Madeline's room, Madeline is lying in bed as she barely touched her dinner since being sent up to her room. She rang the bell for the tray to be taken away. Instead of Baileywick, Miranda came at the sound of the bell. "What do you need, sweetheart?" She asked as she was wondering about it.

Madeline looks at Miranda as she sits up in her bed. "Mom, can you please take my dinner back down? I'm done with it". Madeline said to Miranda as she does not like being ground.

Miranda looked at Madeline's plate as she saw that the food was barely touched. "Madeline, dear, I know you're mad about being grounded". Miranda said to Madeline as knows what is going on with her.

Madeline looks at Miranda as she finds it deeply unfair about things. "Mom, it is not fair though. Spencer refused to tell me who CRLS is. She even said no to a princess. She is not even a mom". Madeline said to Miranda as she does not understand things.

She is not going to take that on alone". Miranda said to Madeline as she explained to her that she will be going to Spencer's cottage after school.

Madeline is stunned by this as she looks at Miranda as she is learning that this is happening. "But mom, we have seen the damage that got left behind in the brawl. Why do I have to help clean the place when Sofia, James, and Amber won't be there to do it"? Madeline asks Miranda as she is trying to get out of it or even trying to drag her siblings into her punishment.

There are things about Spencer that you never knew about including how Dr. Elizabeth had a lot to do with things on the misery she put Spencer through. Plus you, Sofia, Amber, and James are going to meet people who are truly connected and related to Spencer very soon as well". Miranda said to Madeline as she explained about it.

Madeline looks at Miranda as she pouts as she does not like that at all. "Can't you tell me about it now, please mom"? Madeline asks Miranda as she wants the punishment to go by quickly.

Madeline nods as she watches Miranda leave the room with her dinner. She gets changed into bed as she is mad about things. 'Just what is it about Spencer that I don't even know about? Those initials have to mean something about her though just what is it exactly'. Madeline thought to herself as she got ready for bed as she blew out the candle and tried to relax and go to sleep for the night.

At Renee's hideout, Renee and Wormwood sees that Elizabeth is already in jail along with Hannah and Samuel. Renee smirks as she has a letter ready to be sent to another friend of hers. "I do believe it is time to cut additional power in Prisma's staff and taking power from the staff and going into you, Wormwood". Renee said to Wormwood as she grabs out her wand as they need to move forward with their plans.

Wormwood smirks to Renee as he has been waiting patiently for this moment. "I have been waiting for this day Renee". Wormwood said to Renee as he is wondering when it was going to happen. said i been waiting for this Day Renee"

Renee smirks as she cast a spell on staff to cut additional power to Prisma and sending it to Wormwood. A wave of power went to Wormwood as it is flowing through him. "I will also cast another spell on the staff to get it weaker each time Prisma even use it, and that will be sent to you too". Renee said to Wormwood as she casts the second spell to make things sufferable to Prisma.
