Disclaimer: I do not own Code Geass or Attack On Titan.
A.N: Truth to be told; I have no idea why I decided to start this crossover fanfiction. Maybe, it was out of boredom or having too much free time. Maybe, it was due to the lack of (for a lack of a better word) longer AOT and Code Geass crossover fanfiction material.
Anyways, moving on… I didn't exactly stick to what I said in my last fanfiction. So this time around, I won't make any promises that I can't keep. However, I do hope to create an enjoyable crossover and get further with the story then some other authors in this crossover section.
Immortals among titans
Code Geass Universe
Tokyo
Lelouch vi Britannia, the 99th emperor of the Holy Britannian Empire, more commonly known as the Demon Emperor, sat on his
throne on his transport, gazing down upon the Black Knight echelon and his siblings. His eyes swept over his prisoners, analyzing each and everyone of their faces for hints of emotion.
Averting his gaze, Lelouch's mind began to wander as he looked at the surroundings. "Finally Zero Requiem will come to a close" Lelouch thought as they approached the desired location.
"What is that!" exclaimed his ever faithful servant, Jeremiah Gottwald.
As if sent by God, a figure stood alone, blocking the path of the transport. Upon seeing this mysterious figure, almost everyone immediately recognised him as Zero, the self-proclaimed knight of justice. However unbeknownst to them, this was a brilliant plan constructed by Lelouch to bring peace throughout the planet through his death. For world peace and to atone for his sins, Lelouch, a symbol of evil and tyranny will be vanquished by Zero, the symbol of justice, a messiah that would save the world from the dreaded Demon Emperor.
The knightmares guarding the transports immediately open fire upon Zero, once given the order to stop him. However, along with being under the influence of geass and Suzaku's impressive physical attributes, Suzaku evaded the shots with seemingly superhuman speed. Dodging all the bullets, Zero leapt onto one of the knightmares and used it as a springboard to leap over the rest of the knightmares.
"Cease fire! I'll take care of this interloper!" ordered Jeremiah Gottwald upon realizing that the knightmares might hit the emperor or the prisoners. Jeremiah activated his hidden arm blade as he jumped down to meet Zero.
Jeremiah charged forward, slashing his blade at Zero, missing entirely as Zero jumped up onto Jeremiah and pushed off him to gain more momentum. Falling, Jeremiah smiled slightly, and encouraged the masked knight to move forward in his mind.
Leaping past Nunnaly and then Schniezel, Zero leapt right in front of Lelouch, brandishing his sword for the kill.
"Impudent fool!" yelled Lelouch, as he raised his hidden sidearm. With ease, Zero knocked the gun out of Lelouch's hand and prepared to make the killing blow. Lelouch's emotional mask failed at that moment and he allowed a genuine smile to slip onto his face, as the sword pierced his chest.
Gasping in pain, Lelouch carcesses the side of Zero's mask, giving a new geass to Suzaku. "You will live on, always serving as a knight of justice and truth. You will no longer live your life as Suzaku Kurrurugi. You shall sacrifice the ordinary pleasures of life for the benefit of the world for all eternity."
"This geass, I solemnly accept." answered Zero, as he removed the sword from Lelouch's chest.
Stumbling forward, Lelouch fell and rolled down the ramp, unable to stay upright any longer. With that, Lelouch spoke his last thoughts. "Yes… I … destroyed the… world and… created it… anew."
Lelouch's vision faded, as he died right next to his beloved sister, the one he created a peaceful world for, though he would never be able to see it.
Code Geass Universe
Unknown
Lelouch's visions slowly recovered as his eyelids fluttered open. Confused, Lelouch looked around, waiting for his sight to adjust. He expected to be absorbed back into the collective unconsciousness, but what appeared before him was Zero.
"Where am I? What are you doing here Suzaku? asked a confused and slightly infuriated Lelouch.
"I'm not Suzaku, as for where you are, would be the World of C. '' replied Zero, who raised his hand indicating to the surroundings around them.
"I see." replied Lelouch. "I'll take it that you are the Collective Unconsciousness.
"I am many things, God, Satan, Angel, Devil and many more things, but yes I am also the Collective Unconsciousness." answered Zero.
"May I ask why you look like Zero?" questioned Lelouch.
"Would you rather, I have been a body less being, communicating to you from everywhere at once?" asked the Collective Unconsciousness.
"Point taken." replied Lelouch. "But shall I be sent to hell? I doubt that I would be going to heaven after all the sins I have committed."
"Actually, I'm here to offer you a deal. A chance to live again in a different world, if you would accept." said the Collective Unconsciousness.
"A chance to live again?" mumbled Lelouch. "Why me though?"
"Because I am in debt to you for saving me from your father." declared the Collective Unconsciousness. "But most importantly, I'm interested in what you will do. You see, every few hundred to thousand years, some very interesting soul appears before me. Their actions alleviate my boredom, so I tend to keep these individuals active for as long as I can."
"What if I don't accept?" asked Lelouch.
"Well that's simple, you simply get sentenced to hell. Look at it this way, you will basically be atoning for your sins if you do this." answered the Collective Unconsciousness snidely. "You might just get accepted into what amounts to heaven in this world."
"If I don't accept, I will be sentenced to Hell. It seems as if I really don't have much of a choice." reasoned Lelouch. "Very well, I accept your offer".
"A wise decision." replied the Collective Unconsciousness. "A word of advice. You should get more physically fit. Your physical abilities, as it is right now, are utterly pathetic."
Before Lelouch could retort, the world started to crumble as Lelouch's vision started to fade.
Just before Lelouch completely succumbed to the darkness, he heard an ominous last few words. "Do try to enjoy the new world and my gift, Lelouch…".
AOT universe
Interior area of Wall Rose
Lelouch opened his eyes slowly, as he shook off the effects of being unconscious. Looking around, Lelouch found himself in a rather dark place with spots of dim light shining in. He moved his arm around or rather tried to move. He shifted his gaze to his arm and found a short stubby arm. Confused, Lelouch looked over his body which resembled that of a baby.
"I should have expected this." thought an exasperated Lelouch.
Time skip.
More A.N: My search history might look a little weird after this… I searched up what the inside of a womb looks like for a baby. I got nothing substantial from that search.
Anyways, I have some general idea of where this fanfic is going.
Also some facts may not be 100% accurate.
And the characters may act in a way that would be considered OOC as this fanfiction continues.
I couldn't really find a suitable host family for Lelouch, so I had to stick one in. Oh well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Lelouch was a rather odd child. He displayed an unnatural level of intelligence for a 11 year old child, mastering speech at a rather young age and grasping concepts like algebra incredibly quickly. His behavior confused both his tutors and family. He never asked for unnecessary attention or misbehaved. His mannerism was almost always well refined and befitting of a noble, something which puzzled his parents as neither of them were nobles.
Lelouch's father, Charles Lamperouge, was a moderately wealthy merchant, which gave Charles enough money to afford a home within Wall Rose.
His mother, Marianne Lamperouge, was part of the survey corps when they met. One thing led to the next until they were married.
Lelouch didn't like his parents too much. They reminded him of his parents from the previous world, even if he knew this was unfair towards his current parents, since they have done nothing to earn his ire yet. His parent's personalities are drastically different from that of his old parents. His father cared more about his family, whilst his mother was more concerned about raising them, than some god-killing plan.
"I guess this is what they would have been like, if they didn't have a plan to destroy the Collective Unconsciousness and weren't part of the Royal family." mused Lelouch as he watched his parents. "Who knew they would be so normal? Well as normal as can be in a world with man-eating giants."
"Lelouch!" called his father. "The tutor is here!"
Sighing, Lelouch made his way to the tutor. He already knew what the tutors had been teaching him. Lelouch considered skipping the tutors like how he would skip class, but he doubted his parents would let that happen. He wanted to know more about the Titans and the walls, but his father wanted him to become a merchant like him.
Lelouch was touched that his father cared about him this time around, but he can't forget what that man has done to him and his sister in the previous world. Lelouch could only put on a mask around his parents. He knew that they didn't deserve being treated in a hateful manner since they were essentially different people.
Lelouch's mind zoned out as his tutor droned on about mathematics. These lessons were dreadfully unexciting, as Lelouch had already learned math in his previous world. Multiple times, Lelouch would almost fall asleep during these lessons.
"Lelouch!"
Snapping out of his daydream, Lelouch looked around for a moment.
"Time is up. Did you write down your assignment for tonight?" questioned his tutor.
"Of course," said Lelouch as he looked at the board and quickly memorized the pages he was assigned.
Lelouch walked silently to his room to change into something more comfortable. Locking his door, Lelouch took off his shirt. Lelouch had tried to activate his geass in the past, but found no trace of it in eyes, when he looked in the mirror. No monotone voice or lack of any facial expressions were noticed on those he had discreetly attempted to Geass. There was on possibility however, to which he had obtained a code. A theory, Lelouch was not too keen on testing out.
Finishing changing his clothes, Lelouch set out to find his father. Looking around, Lelouch found him in the study room.
"Father." called out Lelouch.
"What is Lelouch? Can't you see that I am busy?" asked Lelouch's father.
"I've decided that I want to join the cadet corps. Tomorrow is my birthday, to which I will be 15. I will be enlisting."
"What!? Lelouch, you know that the army is basically a death sentence! Become a merchant like me! There's less of a chance that you will die!" yelled Charles, as he abruptly stood up.
"Father, listen-"
"No you listen to me, Lelouch! I won't allow you to join the army. It's too dangerous. Your mother would be dead if she were still with Erwin's foolish crusade!
"Father. I'm not asking for permission. I am going to enlist whether you like it or not." replied Lelouch, sternly.
Looking into Lelouch's eyes, Charles realized that he wouldn't be able to stop Lelouch. Sighing exasperatedly, he sat down and covered his face with his hands.
"Are you absolutely sure about this?" quietly asked Charles after a period of silence.
"Yes, I am." said Lelouch.
Truth be told, Lelouch had put a lot of thought into it. He had some good information about these titan from multiple sources? Lelouch had already collected as much information about the biology of the titan and it's weaknesses as he could without drawing too much attention.
Lelouch's reason to enlist was a bit complicated. One one hand, he was alarmed by the utter lack of knowledge about things beyond the wall as well as the wall's history. The walls were simply too big to have been constructed in 100 years, given their technology. There was also the fact that there was a rather low quantity of books detailing the outside world. Lelouch also found the lack of other races disturbing as well. On the other hand, Lelouch was, simply put, bored. He had nothing to do, no sister that needed to be taken care of and no empire to overthrow (yet).
Joining the cadet corps and eventually the Survey Corps may provide some information about the outside world. It was already quite clear answers to the questions he had in his head. It could also allow Lelouch a chance to go beyond the walls, if he were to join the survey corps. It was obvious that information was being censored, so Lelouch would just have to find them himself.
With a resigned sigh, Charles relented without further protest, knowing that he would not be able to stop Lelouch.
"If I can't stop you from embarking on this foolish journey of yours, I will help you as much as possible." softly said Charles. "However I am still against this!"
"I thank you for your concern, father, but I will accomplish what I set out to do." Lelouch replied. Calling him father feels a bit weird. Even after all these years, I can't let go of my anger. I know he is not the same as the emperor from my previous life, but they look too alike.
A.N: And that's where I will leave this. Any suggestion with how this story goes might be helpful.
