"Hey... Hildreck. Will you be by my side forever?" Aurora asks.

The knight takes off his heavy armor. "Tsk... What kinda question is that your highness."

Aurora slaps her knight across the face. "I'm serious! You're like... The only family I have in this shitty world. S- S- So don't leave me! Don't leave my side!"

Hildreck takes a knee and looks ar Aurora. *sigh* "You're a lot stronger than this. You don't need someone like me to stand on your own feet. With a dagger in your side and a snake bite on your neck... It'll make you want to sit down and take whatever the world throws at you. And the day will come when im no longer by your side M'lady. And on that day it will feel like the whole world is against you. But your resolve will keep you on your feet. Once you find and stick to your path Aurora. Hold onto that path. And it'll lead you to your own salvation."

"Ok ok! I get it bro. You didn't hafta get all cheesy on me." Aurora says as she pulls the covers over her.

Hildreck steps outside for a smoke break. "The world beyond what we know is a cold one. A world that restrains you from being your true self. Filled with a severely flawed species we call... Humans. Maybe she'll be the one to break us from the curse of the ancients... Then i can finally rest in my forever bed. And maybe... Just maybe i can tell her who she really is."

Aurora's retainers begin to discuss among themselves. "Ok... So who's going to be the COURAGOUS *cough* volunteer to wake her up?"

"Uhm, not I! Because I want to see my family later on." Celicia says.

Celicia begins to scroll through the princess awakening duty schedule and it turns out she's next on the list. The other retainers give a gentle yet violent nudge to Celicia as she stumbles into the sleeping beauty's room.

She trembles in her shoes and slowly approaches Aurora. "G- G- Good morning M'lady! Th- The queen is asking for you!"

Aurora slowly turns over to get a good look at Cecilia. She wipes the crud from her eyes and opens her mouth to speak.

"What *yaawn* does the queen want now?" Aurora asks.

"It's uhm... It's your 16th birthday M'lady! Its t- t- time for you to receive your Holy Knight." Cecilia answers while shaking in her boots.

A twinkle appears in her eyes as she jumps out of bed and dashes straight towards the queens chamber, still wearing boxers and a sports bra. Busting through the front door of her mother's chamber she flips into position in front of her mother with Aurora's retainers in tow.

"PRINCESS AURORA REPORTING FOR DUTY!" The princess yells throughout the chamber.

The queen closes her fan to speak to her daughter. "And you came in your pajamas... Better than last time i guess. Anyways *cough* I assume you understand exactly why I called you here?"

Aurora nods in response. "Yes ma'am!"

The queen steps down from her throne. "For generations upon generations every heir to the kingdoms throne as been assigned a holy knight. And through their adventures and hardships it scu-"

the princess interrupts her mother. "Yeah yeah i get it... Blah blah blah responsibilities blah blah blah challenges. Now where is he?! WHERE'S MY HOLY KNIGHT!"

The vein shows on the queens forehead as her anger becomes visible. She points towards the grand stairs and walks out of the room. Aurora begins to jump in excitement as her eyes begin to sparkle. A young man walks down the grand stairs looking about the age of 20. With jet black hair and a skin tight long sleeved shirt. Paired with metal plated pants. The halls begin to echo as everyone talks about the appearance of the new holy knight.

The sparkle in Aurora's eyes begin to dampen as to her... Hildreck just looks like another playboy. "Pfft... He's nothing special."

Hildreck hears what slipped through Aurora's teeth and begins to walk in her direction. The princess looks Hildreck directly in the eye.

"What'er ya lookin' at punk?" Aurora says ready for a fight.

Hildreck examines Aurora. "Boxers... Sport bra... Messy hair... And a flat che-"

*WACK* Hildreck is interrupted by a kick which doesnt move him.

"And she knows how to fight... This will be fun!" Hildreck cracks a smile.

He grabs Aurora by the ankle and drags her towards the door

"HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING! LET GO OF ME ASSHOLE!!!" Aurora's voice echoes.

The queen waves them goodbye with a smile as the door finally closes off Aurora's echoing voice.

"What's your deal asshole!" Aurora yells throughout the city.

"I'm trying to make it so you dont embarrass yourself. Just shut up already and stand up!" The knight yells.

Aurora takes a look around and begins to realize exactly what she has gotten herself into. In the middle of a populated city still in her pajamas getting dragged across the ground by a random knight. She blushes finally decides to stand up.

She hides behind her knight and looks towards the ground. "L-L- Lets get g- going then!"

Hildreck chuckles. "As you wish M'lady"

Dusk falls as the sky turns a beautiful twilight. The sounds of the night overtake the bustling streets as the time for sweet dreams is near. With maybe a nightmare here and there. The moon glows a beautifully white as it adds an ever so needed effervescence to the otherwise dreary sky. The wind howls like a wolf yearning for its kin. But on this night lies the greatest of humanity's sins.

Our bubly princess and our honored knight Hildreck camp out on a nearside cliff. Sitting on the edge looking at the beautiful land that god has graced them with.

Hildreck pulls out a cigarette. "*puff* So... What is your mission? Your purpose... what drives you."

"Oh... Thats quite sudden Hildreck. I already have an answer for you." Aurora answers.

She stands up and looks into the twilight sky. "Do you see all the insects down there Hildreck? How they carry about their business without having to give a damn about anything?"

Hildreck nods in response.

Aurora turns to her knight. "I want to free humanity Hildreck... I want us all to be like... like."

Aurora points at a leaf gentilly breezing through the wind. "Like that leaf! That leaf has no worries... It only dances to what pushes it. Thats how I want to grant humanity true freedom!"

Hildreck puts out his cigarette and throws it off the cliff. "It seems we have the same goal then."

The princess's eyes begin to sparkle. "Really Hildreck?"

A slightly sadistic smile creeps over the knights face. "But tell me something lass... Do you know what stops humans from achieving true freedom?"

Aurora shakes her head

"Its law and order... The shackles of law keep us from true freedom. . Dont you see it Aurora? Cant you see the grand picture?!?! TRUE FREEDOM WRITHES WITHIN CHAOS! A SOCIETY WITH NO SHACKLES! NO RESTRAINTS! That world is a beautiful place Aurora. A place of true anarchy and freedom... So won't you help me achieve this goal. Won't you dance with me?" Hildreck jumps off of the cliff while holding her hand.

The world stops on a dime as the beautiful sounds of nature pause. Along with what seems... to be everything.

Aurora struggles in the air. "Let go of me!"

"Won't you dance with me?"

"I said let go!"

"LET"

"WITH"

"GO"

"ME!"
