Hey guys. I'M BACK! I'm so so sorry I've been gone for so long. I have been dealing with a lot of stuff right now. I'm sorry for that. So I'm gonna try and keep posting stories the best I can. And I have not gotten Covid so thank the lord. I just had my second vaccine shot and the side effects made me ill the next day, but after that day, I'm better and I'm ready to type. So here's Illusions in the Spider-Verse for now. Enjoy!

Sailor Moon slowly woke up and rubbed her head. "Wh...what happened?" she said as she realized she was in a small cage hanging from the ceiling. "What the..Where am I?" she asked herself as she grabbed the bars from her cage and looked below her.

"Sailor Moon! Over here!" said a familiar voice behind her. It was Sailor Jupiter! She and the other Guardians were locked in the same cages as she was.

"GUYS! Sailor Moon yelled. "Are you all ok?!"

"Yeah. We're fine!" Sailor Mars said. "Where are we though?"

Sailor Moon looked around. They were inside a building with chrome paint and a giant computer and a few screens. "I..I'm not sure." she said.

"I believe I can answer that!" Someone said, He was a big bald man in a white suit and a crystal tip cane. "Welcome to Fisk Tower!"

"Fisk Tower?" asked Sailor Mercury.

"I take it you young ladies never heard of me?" the man said, walking to the computer. "I am Wilson Fisk. But people call me Kingpin!"

"Kingpin?" Sailor Mercury said, remembering Spider-Man mentioning someone named Kingpin back when the Sinister Six attacked Tokyo back then.

"What do you want from us?" asked Sailor Moon. Just then, Spider-Carnage appeared above her and scared her to death. She backed away from him breathing like crazy.

"We Just want information!" he said.

"A..About what?" asked Sailor Moon shaken in fear.

"My clone! Where is he?!" he hissed.

"We don't know we're not from here!" Sailor Moon answered.

"Lie all you want!" said Spider-Carnage as he dropped down from the ground. We"ll get you to talk eventually."

"Spider-Carnage? Are you sure these ladies know about your clone?" Kingpin asked.

"They must know! They were talking about another Spider-Man!" Spider-Carnage said. "They're working with him and I will get the information out of them, even if I have to peel their heads off and look for the answers inside they're brains!"

"Psst Serena!" Sailor Mars whispered out.

"Yeah?"

"Do you think Mina is ok?"

"I hope so." Sailor Moon said sitting down. "I wonder where she is."

"Let's hope she can get us out of here!" said Sailor Jupiter as she shook the bars.

Speaking of Mina, let's see how she's doing with the Scarlet Spider…

Sailor Venus and Scarlet Spider sneaked they're way in the back of Fisk Tower. They took out two guards guarding the back door and Scarlet Spider head to the control panel.

"If they're still alive, your friends might be in Fisk's fortress!" He said trying to hack the control panel.

"They are alive. I know they are!" said Sailor Venus watching for any guards.

"So, I keep forgetting to ask this, but who are you and why are you and your friends here?" Scarlet Spider asked.

"Oh...My name is Sailor Venus, and me and my friends are from a different dimension." she answered.

"A different...What?" asked Scarlet Spider.

"Well you see, In our world, a guy named Mysterio discovered something called, The Spider-Verse and he's trying to capture very Spider-Man there!" Sailor Venus explained. "He has Our Spider-Man and a Spider-Man from a future universe."

"So there's more Spider-Men in different universes?" Scarlet Spider asked. "Spider-Carnage is not going to like that!" As soon as she finished his sentence, the door opened. "We're in! Come on." he said as they entered the building.

"Hey, I forgot to ask you something too." Sailor Venus said. "How did this all start?" Just then, Scarlet Spider grabbed Sailor Venus and quickly hid behind a pillar. "Hey! What are you.."

"Shh!" whispered Scarlet Spider. As he looked behind him and saw two guys walking in from another hallway in front of them.

"Hey. If I tell you something, can you promise to keep it to yourself?" asked one of them.

"Depends on what it is." said the other.

"Well, it's just...I hate working with this Spider-Carnage guy."

"Because he's scary?"

"That and he's..well used to be Spider-Man!"

Sailor Venus started to blush

"Well, he's not Spider-Man anymore."

"I don't care! I took this job to work with Fisk to bring down Spidr-Man, not work with Spider-Man."

"You know he hates it when people call him that right?"

"Why do you think I told you to keep this between us?"

They soon went into a door and Spider-Scarlet breathed with relife. "Ok, the coast is clear." he said then seeing that he is still holding on to Sailor Venus. "Oh..uh..sorry" he said, letting go of Sailor Venus and blushing inside his mask.

"It..it's ok," said Sailor Venus nervously. Then, they continued to walk down the hallway and went to the direction the guards went.

"Anyway, what was your question from earlier?" Scarlet Spider asked Sailor Venus.

"Huh? Oh..I was just wondering how this all started." answered Sailor Venus "New York being destroyed, two Spider-Men. And Speaking of which, are you the clone or is Spider-Carnage?"

Scarlet Spider stopped in his tracks and stood silent for five seconds. "To be honest, I don't know." he said in a sad tone. "He's either my clone or I'm his. Again, I'm not sure." He slowly turned to Sailor Venus. "All I know is that before Peter Parker became Spider-Carnage, he was having a rough time. First, he lost Uncle Ben, then a few years later, Aunt May passed away. He lost his one and only family. And his mind became unbalanced. He then made contact with a scientist who is an expert on clones."

"What was his name?" asked Sailor Venus.

"Don't know Don't care!" said Scarlet Spider. "Anyway he cloned Spider-Man, and made things worse. The clone escaped. And no one knows where he went."

"That clone was you, right?" asked Sailor Venus.

"That's what I thought." said Scarlet Spider. "I tried to stay away from his life by changing my Identity and appearance. That's how I switched my name to Ben Reily!"

"So you named yourself after Peter's Uncle?" said Sailor Venus. "That's kinda heart warming."

"Actually. I didn't!" Ben chuckled. "The name Ben just came to mind. As well as my last name."

"Ok." said Sailor Venus. "But I know this is kinda like the question I already asked, but if you weren't the clone that escaped, then are you the real Spider-Man?"

"Again I don't know." Scarlet Spider said, taking off his mask. "I had no memory of where I came from. The Scientist must've robbed me from my past. Might I mention he made Peter suffer."

"How" asked Sailor Venus.

Scarlet Spider took five seconds to answer. "He killed Mary Jane Watson!"

Sailor Venus' eyes were wide when Scarlet Spider said that. "Wh..what why?" she asked, shaking up a bit.

"Mary Jane was the only one who kept him happy ever scene May and Ben left." Scarlet Spider said. "And here's the shocking part, Mary Jane was a clone like me..or Peter all this time!" Sailor Venus' jaw dropped. " Apparently when Mary Jane was ten, she was diagnosed with cancer. And passed away. But before she did, her parents paid the scientist with everything they had and already made the clone and whipped any memory of her having cancer and her own parents!"

"But..why did they do that?" asked Sailor Venus with a tear slowly dropping down her eye.

"When I meant everything they had..I meant EVERYTHING!" answered Ben. They gave up they're house, every bank savings, everything just to save they're little soon gave her to her aunt and together they both agreed to die by running their car off a cliff."

"Wow...but how did she die?" asked Sailor Venus.

"The Scientist hired men to kidnap Mary Jane and bring her to him." said Scarlet Spider. "Peter found them and he confessed everything about Mary Jane being a clone and the real her being dead. Mary Jane was in shock and devastated. But, Peter was furious. He attacked the scientist and was about to knock him out and take him to jail. But he heard Mary Jane crying to her knees. She said that she wasn't real, all this time she has lived a life full of lies. And her parents both killed themselves because of her. She took a gun and shot herself. Peter rushed to her and held her in his arms. He began to feel anger, hatred, and pain!"

"Just like when he lost Uncle Ben," said Sailor Venus.

"Pretty much." said Scarlet Spider. "He killed the Scientist and buried Mary Jane. He hated not only the Scientist, but himself. All because he couldn't save her.

"I..I can't believe he would do all this!" said Sailor Venus looking down at her feet with more tears racing down her eyes. "Is this how he decided to bond with Carnage?" she asked looking back at Scarlet Spider.

"That part I'm getting to." said Scarlet Spider. "Ever since I heard about MJ, I decided to be a Spider-Man like him, and called myself, The Scarlet Spider. To show that he's never alone. But he got really angry and said he's always alone. And that's how it'll be. I guess he didn't know about me being his clone...or...well you know. I decided to find out myself. I went to Doctor Conners to see if he can give me answers. And he did. He discovered that according to our genetic structures, it...might be Peter who was the clone not me!"

"What!?" said Sailor Venus surprisingly. "I thought you said you weren't sure if you were the clone!"

"Let's just say, I kinda didn't believe it." Ben said. "After my discovery, I learned that the Kingpin stole something from Roxxon. So I decided to stop him myself. Until Peter showed up. I thought he was trying to help me, But no. He was trying to kill me. He said, he heard about Doctor Conner's notes and didn't believe any of it like i did. He said he's nothing like the scientist that cloned Mary Jane and made her kill herself. He wanted me dead because I reminded him so much of him. While we fought, Fisk got away and dropped whatever he stole. Apparently, it was the Carnage Symbiote. It jumped on Peter and transformed him into, SPIDER-CARNAGE!"

"Wow..I..don't believe this!" Sailor Venus said. She was in shock. She almost doesn't want to believe what he said was true. "And the city?"

"While we were fighting, he caused the wall to collapse on me. He thought that I got squished under the rubble and went down to the basement of the facility. He used the Roxxon city core to nuke the entire city." answered Ben with a tear going down his eye. "Millions of Casualties, A hundred injured, and a dozen children left homeless and scared. I survived the explosion and saw New York going down in flames. And people screaming for someone to help them. But everyone who could were dead! And the worst part about it is that they blame me. Not because I failed to stop the explosion, Because they think I caused it." Ben punched a wall and more tears came down his eyes. "And they have every right to blame me for it!" he said.

"What do you mean?!" asked Sailor Venus.

"If I would've been there to help Peter before MJ's death. She would still be alive and none of this would've happened!" Ben said covering his face and sobbing. "This is all my fault! I screwed up everything!" He then felt Sailor Venus' hand touch his shoulder and helped him turn around to face his body to her.

"I don't think this was your fault!" she said.

"You..you don't?" Ben Sniffed. "Why?"

"Before I..was called Sailor Venus, I was once called Sailor V." She said. "It was kind of a rough experience. I actually acted alot like my leader when she first became a Sailor Guardian, until she did her new leaf. Kinda wasn't good at helping out. I screwed up a bit too. But my mentor, slash cat, Artemis said, Sometimes Screwing up is how you learn so you won't make that mistake again. That wisdom of his really helped me. I became a better hero than I was before thanks to him. So I thought if I shared his wisdom with you, then you can see that you're a true Spider-Man. Even if you screw up." she said as he took his hand and placed his mask on it.

Ben looked at his mask and whipped the tears off his face and put his mask on. "Thank you. Sailor Venus!" he said.

Sailor Venus smiled and grabbed his hand again. "Mina!" she said.

"Huh?"

"It's my name, Mina Aino!"

"Mina huh?" That's a nice name." Scarlet Spider said. That made Mina giggle and blush. Then, Scarlet Spider gasped and pushed her and he suddenly got swiped by a man in a glider.

"Scarlet!" yelled Sailor Venus, until she got swiped by someone in a glider. It was Green and HobGoblin.

They soon dropped them in a big empty cargo room. And flew around them.

"Well, it seems we have uninvited guests!" said Hobgoblin.

"Do you know what happens to people when they break into Fisk Tower?" Asked Green Goblin.

"I'm guessing they don't get Milk and Cookies!" said Scarlet Spider.

"Oh they get something alright!" said Green Goblin as he threw a Pumpkin Bomb at Sailor Venus. Scarlet Spider quickly pushed her out of the way and saw the Pumpkin bomb heading towards him. And exploded.

"BEN!"

Well.. this will be it for now. I would make the story longer. But I wanna save some plots for the other chapters. And also, Scarlet Spider's story is almost similar to the clone saga episode from the Spider-Man cartoon back in the 90's. I just changed it up a bit. So sorry to keep you guys waiting again. But I hope a lot of you are staying safe, healthy, and happy. And also, which Spider-Man would you want the Sailor Scouts to go to next?
