Heroes of the Azure: Scarlet omen.

WELCOME EVERYBODY TO THE FIRST STORY OF MY OWN SERIES.

now i hate to keep all of you fine reader waiting for me but i had to be sure that if i'm really serious about-

making my own stories. then i had to do my homework on the characters and the many things that come-

with them. so, if you haven't guess here there are some things you should know about this universe.

1st: this is a merge universe of Blazblue, RWBY, Mega man X, Sly cooper, Metal gear, and guilty gear.

2nd: some characters will have some changes with their gender/race such as ruby is a wolf faunus and

zero & ragna are girls here. also ruby is the reincarnation of the black beast instead of ragna who only-

get her blazblue via a piece of the black beast.

and 3rd: if any one will like to give out advice and/or opinions speak your mind to my pm or gmail

just as long that you're not sending insults of any kind to me i'm all ears to what you type up.

now then, i'll be giving you this, ENJOY:)

chapter 1: prologue

Deep underground at an unknown location, ruby rose enters into a huge chamber with an near equivalent

Huge hole of seemingly fiery lava that boils and bubbles with such intensity, that the red wolf could

Feel the heat from the entrance she was standing from. This is the cauldron, the Hell spring, the Gate of

judgement. an portal to the ever mysterious yet dangerous realm called the boundary.

the cauldron also serves as a power source. Because of it continuous emission of seithr, it helps

Powers an huge city quite easy, but also it's deadly to mess with and very Toxic to any living thing that

comes into contact with. Hence why the cauldrons on remnant are deeply underneath secure buildings, like the NOL(Novus Orbis Librarium) divisions, and in each

of the four Huntsmen academy. right Now though ruby is currently underneath vale city's NOL division. normally there would be some NOL personnel,

or at the least high-security here in this branch, but ruby didn't care about that right now, her main focus was on the platform in front of her which she starts approaching to, at the edge one can look directly down towards the cauldron and if not careful, can easily fall in to it. then suddenly something emerge from the cauldron and landed on the edge of the platform, it was a mechanical-like sarcophagus with dark color themes and white symbols on it. ruby back up a bit when she saw the thing

landed, but not knowing what to except the young huntress ready herself, armed with her Crescent rose; an scythe/sniper rifle weapon if anything go's south.

then the symbols on the sarcophagus lit up all of a sudden, slowly opening letting a young girl step on to the platform, she had long silver hair tied into a braided-

ponytail at the end of it was a single blade, the girl was wearing a bright jumpsuit with an long-cape on her shoulders with red-colored tape seals on the ends,

on her face there was an eyepatch on her right eye which was actually her own azure grimoire. upon recognizing her, ruby was shocked with disbelief,

for she now knows who this person was before her, this is the 13th murakumo unit Nu.

Nu 13: "loading...loading...loading...loading...complete..."

after saying that nu's soulless eye come to life when she saw ruby, her face then lit with joy, but at same time ruby had just now came over her shock which instantly turn into anger, groaning tightening her grip on her scythe she then shout out.

Ruby: YOU!

Nu 13: "Ahh! ruby! nu is so happy to see you again! nu has miss you very very much."

Ruby: "how is this possible?! i killed you before?!"

Nu 13: " (giggling) silly ruby, nu can't die as long ruby is alive... just as ruby can't die as long as nu's alive. we have an life-link between us it's all

but proves that we are meant for each other. as soulmates, together forever and always"

Ruby: "I don't know what you are talking about, but I killed you once! and I'll do it again!"

gearing herself for action the wolf twirls the scythe above her head and then get into a fighting stance, when nu seeing this just smile and said,

Nu 13: "oh, i see how you wanna play. activating murakumo!"

a large sword descended from above, it stabbed itself on the ground behind nu it then spit into different parts and attached itself to nu. after that was done nu is now donning a futuristic Sword-theme armor that even features a set of 8 disembodied swords that float behind her in a wing-like formation, she also

has a visor with a single eye and horns at the ends on her face now, now fully armored nu then address ruby again a little menacingly .

Nu 13: "...alright lover, maybe I'll change your tune with some little...physicality? Now, we can do this the easy way or we can do this the hard way. The choice is yours."

sporting a sadistic smile nu waited for a reply

Ruby: "I choose neither! other than wanting to see if I could cut off your head!"

Nu 13: "OOOOH. I was really hoping you'll pick hard! LETS PLAY!"

(Playing Theme: Awakening the Chaos).

the fight then begin with nu charge towards the faunus with killing intent. but ruby flash-step to the side via super-speed, then ruby retaliate be rushing towards nu and landed a 3-hit combo on her, knocking her down in process. However, nu get right back up and starts conjure up multiple sword projectiles from her summoning glyphs, hurling them at ruby. luckily using her semblance, the red wolf bobs and weaves through the attacks. She then change her weapon into it's sniper form, take aim and shoot a couple of shots hoping that she hit the target. but nu-13 saw this and immediately use the swords hovering behind her as a shield for her front, nu manage to protect herself from the bullet easily

ruby tries maneuvering into position so she can get a good shot but keep having to dodge all of the flying blades coming at her, changing tactics she turns

Crescent rose back to it's scythe form then speed off straight towards nu for some close melee combat. but it was easy say then done, for in this situation nu has all-

but insured to keep the pressure up with conjuring many blades in every direction, ruby had to use both her heightened senses and going full-speed just to stay ahead of the swords, even then she nearly lost her tail and some of the blades did manage land some cuts on her despite her best. when she finally reach nu the two engaged in an exchange of weapon clashing, sparks fly as the two girl landed strike after strike between each other. but eventually, ruby fought well but no matter how many slices landed on the artificial girl, or shot she give out, nu-13 seem to always keep on getting up and recover, her injuries all healed she seems tireless, and worst ruby was slowing down thanks to her own injuries until nu decides it time to end the fight here and now be using a gravity seed to trap her prey in, then unleashed an gauntlet of blades right on the faunus,

ruby screams as she was bombarded with immense pain. by the time it stop ruby was on her knees, her aura flicking as it has reach the red zone and her body was covered in cuts and blood her breathing was ragged.

Nu 13: "HAHAHAHHAH...now ruby, it's time for us to become one"

nu said as she floats towards the defeated faunus and wrapped her arms around her, then using the bladed end of her ponytail stabbed herself and ruby, breaking and destroying what little of ruby's aura in the process.

Ruby: "Guagh!" ruby cried, tears flowing from her eyes. her she then felt nu gently putting her hands on her face and lovely rub tear off while till smiling.

Nu 13: "yes, this it exactly how i have dream of us being together like this. you can't fight against fate ruby, no matter how hard you try. this is our destiny! we are meant to be together forever and ever." she explains as she drags them both to the edge of the cauldron. now at the edge nu giggled.

Nu 13: "now then, are you ready for us to be one and destroy everything in this pathetic awful world now lover?"

ruby look at nu with a dark look on her face her silver eyes had turn blood red then spoke in dark-tone.

Ruby: "you know what? you're right. i hate this world and everything in it: the grimm, the gears, and especially the humans! I'll like nothing more then to slaughtered them all; tear them apart into bloody pieces! so yes I'm ready, let's go become one and destroy this FUCKING! world together nu."

with that said nu smile and kiss ruby on the lips, they then lean over to the edge and fall off it and in to the cauldron. but then a voice cried out

?: "RUBY!"

out of the corner of her eye ruby could see her sister yang desperately running towards her as both nu and herself fall downward to the cauldron, be the time that yang get to the edge of the platform it was too late. yang all but stood there as she watch with tears of sadness running down her face as her baby sister falls down into that fiery vat.

Ruby: "I'm...sorry...yang"

ruby whispered. which was the last thing she said before she disappear alongside nu 13 in the cauldron.

SOMEWHERE ELSE:

?: "in the end, nothing could be change. "

the who said this was a young vampire girl with pale skin, long blonde hair tied into twin pigtails with black ribbons, she also has red eyes. she wears a black frilly gothic lolita dress grown and jacket, red ribbon bow tie, an red bat symbol design cross from the back and to the front of the dress she wear black high-heeled boots with a red cross on the front. with the girl was her two familiars, the transmogrify black cat, Nago, and the fat red bat, Gil. the girl is their master for she is rachel alucard, head of the alucard clan, and an Observer.

Rachel: "and today as well, that light will rain down...the spotlight of demise...a truly sorrowful light."

she said in a sad tone as a beam of light consumes the city of vale annihilating everything, and everyone that was there.

UNKNOWN LOCATION:

?: "THE COMPLETE ANNIHILATION OF THE CITY, KNOWN AS VALE, HAS BE CONFIRMED."

?: "AT THE PRESENT, THE 725TH PHASE IS OVER."

?: "THE SYSTEM IS NOW REBOOTING."

?: "THE DATA WILL BE SENT TO TAKAMAGAHARA."

?: "THE STEM WILL NOW PROCEED TO PHASE 726."

"the wheels of fate are turning."
