*14 years have passed since the Meteor Incident, The skyline of Old Midgar is shown while the camera pans over the large sister city of New Midger, as it zooms straight into the old city walls, revealing several people walking through the streets, the Reactors from each sector were blowing smoke into the sky, with a sign saying "We No longer rely on Mako, but Electric Materia." A new flag was shown towering over the ruined building of Shinra, that was currently under reconstruction, as multiple energetic energy tubes were shown attached to it. Many of these tubes were used in order to divert electric Materia toward the main 8 reactors, around Old Midgar through the use of a newly constructed power core that was located within the interior of the old Shinra Building that was carefully operated by state of the art engineers. It was also guarded with newly outfitted soldiers which bared the patch of the great Wall Logo, which was now the official emblem of the Old Midgar Imperial Army, a newly established Independent Military that was put together by 2016, during the time of the old cities reconstruction, where the strength and power of the Old Imperial Army grew to the point of over 6,000,000 by 2021.*
*The city of New Midgar is shown on the horizon as the camera descends down under the Plate of Sector 2 where the slums were shown, as many people walked through the streets. Some were seen waiting at a bus stop of the newly established Sera Bus Line, with a sign that read, "Established 2021" A bus soon arrives in order to pick up the passengers, before eventually driving off, where the scene changes to even more landscapes all over the old city, as some buildings are shown to still be under construction, with many construction workers hard at work.*
*From there the camera changes to the tunnel system, where a Midgar Express train races past the camera, as the scene zooms out from the train as it makes its way to the lower section of Midgar, where the entire slums of Sector 7 was shown, a Text then reads "Sector 7, Old Midgar, September 2nd, 2021" "14 Years following the Sephiroth Disaster..." The Train stops at the old train station where hundreds of people get out and start to disperse amongst the platform, camera then shows a metal foot move down to the ground, as the camera ascends up to reveal Curtis looking around for a bit before walking off screen.*
*Scene then shows Curtis in walking past the ruins of the Pillar that once held the Sector 7 Plate up, as he stops and looks beyond the gate, before slowly moving his gaze upwards revealing the plate in the sky, which was no longer supported by a pillar, but was instead supported by a built in latch that was connected to both the outer rim and Sector 8 and 6 Plates. which in turn are not only holding the Sector 7 Plate up, but are also have been constructed with state of the art Metallic Materia, which was said to be the most indestructible alloy on Gaia, revealing that nothing can now bring down the Sector 7 Plate, even if they attempted to snap the guards, a fail safe will prevent the plate from falling.
*Upon inspecting areas around Sector 7, Curtis then entered the area where he stood in front of the ruins of Tifa's old 7th Heaven.*
CURTIS: Man, at least she has a new establishment outside the city walls, too bad she lost this one 14 years ago. *He stated to himself as he slowly began to walk away.*
*Camera then changes to Hunter walking through Sector 4, as he was inspecting the large empty grounds under the Plate, where large towering cranes, were shown conducting construction toward certain parts of the impact sights that were left behind by the Meteor Disaster.*
*Camera then changes to a single train moving through the side of the railway base system while on its way to Sector 2, where the vehicle had just exited out of a Tunnel and was now traveling outside along the rim of the Shinra Building based railway section, while traveling through Sector 3, however as the train continues on, a huge explosion soon rattles Sector 3, where the entire upper portion of Reactor 2 ended up going up in flames, catching the attention of all the citizens and making head way news within a matter of minutes.*
*Scene shows as Old Midgar Imperial Transport Helicopters rush toward the reactor, only for a blast of rocket fire to shoot one of them down, sending it crashing against some of the homes down below causing panic and mayhem amongst the population of Sector 3. The second helicopter was able to make it and deploy troops, where not long after Hunter and Curtis arrived and entered the reactor in order to find the source of what just happened, and who shot down one of their helicopters.*
*However during their investigation, the sound of foot steps were heard coming their way, as Hunter grabbed his Proton blaster from his back as the Soldiers readied their weapons, out of the smoke stood the figure of a machine like woman, with glowing Yellow eyes. The soldiers fire as Hunter fires as well, but the unidentified woman, is able to over power the Soldiers while causing severe damage to Curtis, with the use of EMP, before he knew it, Curtis was slammed hard through the wall of the Reactor and send plunging down crashing on top of a car, Camera changes back to Hunter who was able to attack the woman from behind but his wings were yanked and broken off as he was slammed hard against the Floor and ceiling, before being tossed to the near entrance way to the reactor. severely damaged, Hunter turned with a glare, only for the woman to finally step into view, where she was described to have bulky armor, mechanical hands, long orange hair, and glowing yellow eyes. Hunter gasped.*
HUNTER: It's You!
*Before Hunter could say anything else, His neck was grabbed hard as the Androbotic was lifted off the ground and was now facing directly toward her.*
WOMAN: Yes! You know me very well!
*Hunter is shocked by the look of this familiar woman, she looked nothing like this, the last time that Shadow Sega saw them, not in the 80s, and not in the 21st Century.*
HUNTER: What the hell, Happened to you?!
*Her grip tightens around his neck to the point that sparks started to uncontrollably shoot out of his neck area, as it was being crushed by her powerful grip, a grip that was representing anger.*
WOMAN: That is my little secret, Shinra Shit, Now, here is a more appropriate question, Where the hell is your Leader, is he too much of a coward, to face me?!
HUNTER: *Glaring at her* You will never find him Cunt.
WOMAN: We will see about that, Shit head, *Slammed Hunter hard against he hard walls breaking parts of him off, before looking at him again.* Listen to me carefully asshole, the only reason I am keeping you alive right now, is because I want you to pass the message, The Glory to Gaia militia is back, and we are more powerful then ever, *Throws Hunter out of the Reactor and watches as he falls down crashing hard against the top of a house, before she blasts off of the reactor and disappears into the clouds.*
*The Scene soon fades black, as a large text is shown revealing, "Final Fantasy VII Shadow Darkness". Is shown for a few seconds before dissolving into a hallway, where a pair of feet was walking down the hallway, as Old Midgar Imperial soldiers were standing at attention, as the metal feet clanged against the floor.*
*The back of a man is shown as an Japanese man is shown handing over a group of files to a woman as she walks away off screen. Before he sits in his chair and turns towards the window, he does a sigh, where he is staring at the Sectors 1 and 2 Plates that are just in view of his window, until the door opens up into his office.*
MAN: Good, I'm glad you have come. *Turns the chair as he looks at a mysterious figure with wings walking towards his desk.*
VOICE: Yeah, I heard about the Reactor 2 explosion, and so I decided it was now time to come out of hte woodwork, *He eventually comes into view revealing Travis Hans. The Leader of Shadow Sega*
TRAVIS: Especially when it comes to my friends almost being killed Mr President.
MAN: It was a tragic, a tragedy indeed, but I am proud to say that according to Midgar Maintaince, they are stable, but the damage sustained to them was quite a shock to them, so it may be a few days before they are released.
TRAVIS: Yes sir.
MAN: But now, I have brought you into my office Travis, because we did some history on you, before your death in 1980 at age 29, you used to be an architect for our city, am I right?
TRAVIS: *Does a nod of approval.* Yes sir, I used to be, but I don't remember that much of it anymore, sorry to disappoint you on that one.
MAN: But can you at least see a disaster coming from within a structure?
*Travis does a nod of approval.*
TRAVIS: Yes sir.
MAN: Then we need you to go and inspect Reactor 2, this is what our Engineers have found so far when it comes to the damage sustained by the blast. *The man hands Travis a paper as he begins reading it.*
*Travis is stunned on what he sees.*
TRAVIS: Wait a minute, this isn't right, the reactor is completely intact, no damage what so ever is seen in any of these pictures.
MAN: Exactly, we want you to go out there and confirm everything. Travis, its now time to leave Sector 1, and to make yourself known towards the Public now. Will you be willing to take this job?
*Travis has a look of determination and does a nod of approval*
*Scene switches to Reactor 2 as the structure is shown, as multiple helicopters are shown flying in and out of the structure, as scene shows the interior of the reactor revealing many Midgar Engineers trying to work hard in order to get the reactor going again.*
CHIEF of ENIGEENRING: Hurry up everyone, Night will be falling soon, I want this reactor back up now, if we don't get it up by nightfall, Sectors 2 and 3 are going to freeze to death.
ENGINEER 1: We are doing what we can sir, but it looks like the blast just burnt out some of the cables that keep the Electric Materia flowing.
ENGINEER 2: Not to mention, it also looks as if who ever this woman was, attended to try and damage the main control panel too.
CHEIF of ENGINEERING: Well try what you can to replace it, the citizens of Sectors 2 and 3 are counting on us.
*Just then the sounds of a jet is heard as the Chief of Engineer turns to see Travis landing in the chamber of where they are at.*
TRAVIS: Good evening Chief, I hope I'm not late.
CHIEF of ENGINEERING: Ah, Travis, I'm glad your here, we have been hard at work trying to get this reactor activated for almost 3 hours, and so far we are not having any luck. Who ever conducted this bombing intended to shut the power off for Sectors 2 and 3.
TRAVIS: What is the status on damage?
CHIEF of ENGINEERING: According to my men, the main control panel has been damaged, and parts of the cables that allow the flow of Electrica Materia has been charred away in the blast.
TRAVIS: yet, the entire structure is intact, *Thinks* Odd.
ENGINEER 1: Agreed it is odd.
TRAVIS: You mind if I have a look.
CHIEF of ENGIEER: Sure, Make way men, let him pass!
*The team of engineers move back a bit as Travis approaches the spot that is the most charred, and starts to examine the damaged Cables.*
TRAVIS: Hmmm. *Scans the damage, which reads that many of the circuits inside the cables have been melted into the copper, rendering these cables useless. He sighs.* These cables are useless, they have to be changed, *to the chief of Engineers.* Get a word out to President Yamoku Hawamachi and tell him to send the Imperial Guard into Sectors 2 and 3, and prepare the sectors for a full day black out.
CHIEF of Engineer: You got it Travis *Races out of the room.*
ENGINEER 2: I don't understand, who would do this?
ENGINEER 1: Yeah, our city isn't harnessing Mako anymore,
TRAVIS: I have no idea you to, I have no idea.
*Scene changes to the newly establish governmental sector in Sector 1, where Travis enters the room of President Yamoku Hawamachi, where he is still reading the latest reports from the Reactor 2 disaster.*
PRESIDENT HAWAMACHI: Ah Travis, I got your report from Reactor 2, thanks to our head of Engineering. *Places papers down in frustration* Hard to believe someone would be this cruel just to leave thousands of people to suffer in the freezing night that approaches.
TRAVIS: Have the Imperial guard moved into position sir?
PRESIDENT HAWAMACHI: Yes Travis, heaters are and emergency generators are being delivered to both Sectors as of this very moment.
TRAVIS: Good.
PRESIDENT HAWAMACHI: However, I fear to say that we might not be able to get everyone in the Slums, many of our forces are ordering the citizens out of the lower sectors in order to be transported by train up to the plates, fortunately, thanks to you and your friends, the Plates have emergency generators that can last for days, the governors on top of the Sector 2 and 3 plates have agreed with my requests in allowing the citizens of the lower class to stay up there until all this is sorted out.
TRAVIS: Well I'm glad one thing is going well, but why do I have the feeling that something bad is about to be come out.
PRESIDENT HAWAMACHI: Indeed you are correct, *Sighs* Not everyone wants to head up to the plate, some citizens of both Sectors 2 and 3's Slums wish to remain, so the Guard has delivered an aerial message by air, indicating that if anyone were to remain in the slums, they would be provided with Heaters and Generators.
*Travis does a nod of approval.*
PRESIDENT HAWAMACHI: However, *Stands up from his desk and looks out the window.* This Terrorist attack has the city shaking in its boots, many believe that it is the Avalanche group that used to destroy this cities Reactors 14 years ago, but, many of us in the government don't truly believe that to be possible.
TRAVIS: I agree sir, one of the members of Avalanche has come to visit me every week, and hasn't been seeing me since our borders closed, and not once has she mentioned anything about blowing up the reactors, and I am easily able to tell when some one is lying as well.
PRESIDENT HAWAMACHI: I know, which is why we don't have them listed as a threat, however, some of my chiefs have predicted that the attack is mainly caused by New Midgar.
TRAVIS: Even though we don't get along with Edge, or New Midgar, whatever the hell they call themselves now a days, I don't think New Midgar was responsible for this either, for one they are cowards, and two if they cause a war between our city states, it will cause their economy to crash, New Midgar would be out of existence by the time the smoke clears.
PRESIDENT HAWAMACHI: So far those are what the chiefs are telling me, but right now we have experts moving in, in order to investigate the source of the attacker.
TRAVIS: good, next thing we need is to cause even more harm to our citizens by going to war with the wrong people.
PRESIDENT HAWAMACHI: I agree, in the meantime *Turns back to Travis* I need you to conduct patrols now, since your friends are trying to recover, do you think you will be able to take on the challenge of patrolling the city in their place?
TRAVIS: Yes sir.
PRESIDENT HAWAMACHI: Good, thank you Travis you may go now, thank you for your input.
*Travis bows in respect as he leaves his office leaving the president alone as he goes back to looking out the window.*
PRESIDENT HAWAMACHI: Damn it all to hell, if this Cold War doesn't end soon, I fear, that war will break out between both of our city states, and there will be no stopping it.
*Scene fades black.*
*Camera to day later where the Screen reads a text "20 days after Reactor 2 Disaster, September 22nd, 2021" as Travis is conducting his own solo patrols of Midgar, where he is then shown walking through Sector 5 as a walkway where Travis is revealed walking through, as he had just now been approaching Sector 5.*
*However, while walking in Sector 5, Travis is shown staring at the ground, he had just been convinced by Tifa Lockheart in order to go out more and stop hiding out in Sector 1, but to him that was almost nearly impossible.*
TRAVIS: Things are just getting worse by the day. *He moaned.* A Lot of city states don't wanna trade with us, We are suffering from a food shortage, We're only 79 Percent complete as a city, we lost our title as Advanced city to Aliosho, we're in a cold war with our own sister city New Midgar, and now we ended up getting terrorized by some psycho woman 20 days ago which left 2 Sectors dark, What the hell else can go wrong *Travis complained to himself having no idea that he was approaching Aeirth's Sector 5 church.* Sometimes I wonder if it was even worth it, 12 years of hard work on rebuilding this city, yet here we stand now suffering all over again, and Shinra isn't even around more, that is the most insulting part. Plus with all the atrocities that had been conducted by us, while Under Shinra, it's no wonder people outside the walls hate our asses. *Sighs*
*Travis was so lost in his thought that he was not looking where he was going as he was approaching the church wall near the entrance to the door, until all of a sudden BUMP! *
TRAVIS: Ouch! *Felt his head, and looked up.* Nice, I can't even think straight without walking into walls, *However he looked at the Church again and said.* Wait a minute, I know this church.
*Scene soon shows several moments in the church before Travis bumps into it, Aerith is shown putting things on the Church pedestal that was in front of the blooming flowers.*
AERITH: "Thanks for helping out with putting things back in place." Aerith chirped with a smile as she got up and turned around to face the female who was moving some pews back in place. She jumped a bit as she heard a thud. "What was that?" She asked, tilting her head curiously.
JACKIE: "Oh! Um no problem!" Jackie said leaning against the pew, somewhat flustered since so much had been on her mind that day. Jackie's attention went immediately to the door. "I have no idea." She said, pulling out her katana and walking cautiously to the door.
*While hiding behind the door, Aerith goes out, and sees Travis.*
*Travis was shown rubbing his head.*
TRAVIS: I got to seriously stop talking to myself as the only thing that will accomplish is running head first into a wall. *He shook his head a bit only to notice Aerith looking at him.*
*Travis just stood there, he didn't wanna be seen by anyone, as he chose to hide himself in shame for a good reason, but it was too late, the young flower girl and soldier girl, who he sensed was hiding behind the door had already opened up the Church door and saw him already, the only question was what to do now? If he tried to run, then he will only be rude, if he tried to fly a way with the Jet Pack it will be just as bad, His mind raced as he tried to figure out what to do, until eventually he decided and came to a conclusion to just say, since he was seen anyway.*
*Aerith tilted her head slightly when the male didn't answer right away.*
*Finally Travis answers.*
TRAVIS: Uh, Sorry Aerith, I wasn't paying attention and I ended up walking face first into this stone wall. *He pointed to the stone part of the church that was 4 feet from the door.*
*She blinked at him when he suddenly apologized for bumping into the stone wall, she giggled and shook her head a bit.*
AERITH: "I heard, it sounded painful." Her warm smile turned into a confused facial expression.
*Though she tilted her head while looking at him, how did he know who she was?*
AERITH: "Have we...met before?"
*Aerith's eyebrows raised a little in confusion. Who was this guy anyways? The brown haired female stood there trying to recall where she may have met him from or if they had even met at all.*
*Travis just looked at her, and sighed, It wouldn't be surprising if she is choosing to forget who he is, due to the Shinra Corporation and Sephiroth Incident 14 years ago, but in order not to seem rude he decided to answer her question.*
TRAVIS: I know it's hard to believe it, but We have, once.
*He stated, with a smile on his face, which all of a sudden this one smile Expression on his face made Aerith gasp as as a sudden memory from 29 years ago back when she was 7 years old, when she was standing with her mother Ifalna as they entered Midgar after escaping the Shinra building in 1992 before her mother ended up wounded, she then looked and saw a Robotic humanoid with the same armored body look as Travis's, only he was wearing something on his head at the time. Whatever that was on Travis's head was covering half of his face, You couldn't see his eyes or nose, all you could see was his mouth and chin. The Young Aerith stared at the robot man, until it slowly turned toward her direction, scared at first, She hides behind her biological mother Ifalna, unknown to her Ifalna smiled at him she remembered him dearly as Travis looked over at her, and smiled at her as if he were saying. "I'm glad you escaped," before looking down to her daughter that was hidden behind her, even though she couldn't tell if he was looking at her or not, due to his eyes not being seen. But something got her to come back out, as he just gave a small smile expression on his face, for a few seconds, as if he were saying "Nice meeting you kid." Before his facial mouth expression turned back to a serious one and he walked on and disappeared out of sight not knowing that as soon as he disappeared, and Ifalna entered the city while trying to escape off Shinra grounds but would get seriously wounded and would die not long after at Sector 7.*
*The flash back ended back to the Present, as Travis stared at Aerith, with a look of concern, as Jackie was doing the exact same thing and said.*
TRAVIS: I'm sorry I think I should be going, to be honest, I wouldn't blame you for not remembering me, I wouldn't even wanna remember me, so no worries miss, carry on and continue to do with with what you were doing, it was nice meeting you.
*He stated, as he attempted to walk off the Church Grounds.*
AERITH: "Wait!"
*Aerith called out and running over to Travis.*
AERITH: "I remember you!" *She said with a grin.* "I met you when I was younger and just entering Midgar. I was 7 years old, at the time."
TRAVIS: Wow, I am amazed that you were able to recognize me, even though I never spoke that time, plus I wore a head armor.
AERITH: I was able to see who you were through that face expression, that is how I figured it out. *She stated with a big smile on her face.*
*Jackie sighed as she put her katana way.*
JACKIE: "I swear she knows way too many people." She muttered as she walked over and leaned against the door with her arms crossed.
*Travis smiled even though he didn't wanna be seen by anyone for a good reason, he decided to make an exception when it came to Aerith.*
AERITH: Hey you wanna come in, we just finished with caring for the flowers.
TRAVIS: *Looks into the door way where he can see the flowers blooming he then turned back to Aerith.* Well, I am supposed to be patrolling right now, so I couldn't really-
*He is cut off by Aerith who becomes giddy.*
AERITH: Aww come on, just for a few minutes.
*Travis didn't know what to do, he felt nothing more but regret and Guilt, he wanted to walk away, but judging by Aerith instantly remembering who he was, and how she had just reacted, He decided to just follow her inside the Church. Maybe the sight of something beautiful could cheer him up, even though it was hard to cheer anyone up at this point, as he followed her into the Cathedral, only to see the large blooming flowers in the church. He had never been in the Cathedral before and never witnessed the flowers, but he had been outside it at the time, He slowly kneeled down and said.*
TRAVIS: Wow, *These sure are pretty yellow flowers. *He stated as he slowly sat down on the wooden floor to stare at them.*
