Rich's Sick
Notes: Rich & Dana are engaged. It's about 6 months until the wedding. They are getting married on their 5th anniversary. They live together. When Rich's grandma died he inherited her house. They have been intimate. First time was on their engagement night. This fic will not go into to much detail on that topic. It will touch on it slightly. Dana is almost done with law school, she is on her 3rd year. Rich owns a DJ business with Cassie.
Dana & Rich's
It is morning, as usual Dana wakes up before Rich. She starts to wake him up in their usual way, by giving him little kisses on his neck. He stirs a little. She continues giving him kisses. He slowly starts to wake up.
"Morning, baby"
"Good Mornig, Handsome"
"what exactly, do you have in mind?"
"I think you know"
Dana pulls the covers over them. A half hour later they crawl out of bed and start getting ready for work/school.
Scene: The studio where Cassie and Rich own
"Cas, what's on the schedule for this week?"
"I believe the Thompson wedding is this Saturday."
"Where is the song list? I will start putting the songs in order."
Cassie the song list and hands it to Rich. He goes in the back and starts to put the songs in order.
Later that night. It's after dinner, Rich & Dana are cuddling while watching a movie. Rich notices Dana is starting to fall asleep.
"Baby, your falling alseep. You should go to bed."
"But I am so comfy."
"You need your rest. I will be there in a little while."
Rich gives her a kiss. Dana reluctantly gets up and goes to bed.
Early the next morning, Dana is starting to wake up. She reaches over and notices that Rich isn't in bed. She starts to wake up more when she hears a noise coming from the bathroom.
"Rich, are you okay?"
He doesnt answer her, so she gets up to go check on him. She goes into the bathroom.
"Rich, are you ok?"
"not really feeling the greatest"
She goes over to him,helps him get.
"Come on, let's get you in bed"
She helps him walk back to bed.
"You are not going to work today. Do you want me to stay home with you?"
"No, I will probably be sleeping all day anyways"
"I will come check on you on my lunch break"
She gets ready for school. Before she leaves she checks on Rich. He has fallen alseep. She kisses his forhead.
Whispers "Feel better baby, I love you"
Scene: Law office/school
Dana walks in, puts her stuff on the desk. Before starting her tasks for the day she calls her mom.
"Mom, can you do me a favor?"
"Sure sweetie"
"Rich, is home sick can you go check on him in a few hours? I am a little worried."
"no problem. I can bring him some soup not to worry to much"
"I will try. I told him I will check on him at lunch. I may not be able to though. Thanks Mom"
They hang up. Dana trys to get started with what needs to be done that day. About an hour later the phone rings.
"hello"
"Hey, Dana. Where is Rich?"
"Crap, I forgot to call you. He is sick."
"Tell him to feel better. Bye:"
A couple hours later. Carol is at Dana & Rich's. She walks in.
"Rich?"
After putting the soup in the kitchen, Carol walks through the house looking for Rich. She finds him in the bedroom.
"Rich, are you feeling any better?"
"Not really"
"I brought you some soup. Do you feel up to eating something?"
"No"
"ok, I put the soup in the kitchen. I will hang here for a little while. I'll come check on you in an hour."
"Can you get me another blanket? I am freezing."
Carol goes and finds a blanket, lays it on him. Notices that he is sweating and has fallen asleep, so she lets him rest. She trys to calls Dana but she was in a meeting. An hour later she goes to check on Rich again. She finds him drenched in sweat, so she tries to wake him but but he is unresponsive. Then she checks for a fever and is shocked when the thermoter reads 104. Starting to get worried she calls 911.
