For those who only know about the main series, the beginning arc of this story takes place in the prequel manga called Akame ga kill Zero, it's about Akame and Kurome when they worked together in the Empire, while it's alright for the most part there are certain things about it that rub me the wrong way, but luckily I'm able to change those things here, don't worry...the og story will come around soon.
"What do you 2 want..." he asked in a tired yet angered tone, Gil kept a smile before punching his stomach...causing him to groan "Lady Mera wants you to suffer, which is why she'll keep you alive for a while before your inevitable death".
He breaths heavily, the temperature in the room was hot...making his body sweat more, Daikon lifts his head up once more and gave a frown "W-what happened to my friends?" he asked, Taeko responds with a calm voice "Your 2 allies are alive, however she wants to recruit Akame to our clan".
He was glad they were alive...but that last part concerned him "What, w-why?", Gil prepares her fists for another punch "She believes she will make a great Oarburgh, as for the other girl...it depends if Akame accepts...", she then smiled "If Akame joins we'll let her live, if she declines both will die".
Daikon clenched both his fists, he didn't want Akame to join them but he knew she wouldn't, "However, even if Akame joins...we can't guarantee the other girl's survival" Gil says, he tried to escape as he grits his teeth "You...you better not lay a finger on her!".
She hits him once more, he lets out a groaning shout as she still smiled with satisfaction, afterwards she dusts her hands off, happy with her punch "You care about the one with black eyes, Mera figured that out in your fight", Taeko couldn't help but feel some sympathy despite the loss of her friend.
"Taeko...whip him" Gil says as she back away, with reluctance Taeko begins whipping him, Daikon closed his eyes while gritting his teeth, holding in his screams to lessen the pain, after a few whips she stops, tossing the tool aside, a few whip marks were left on his chest as he bleeds.
She crossed her arms and walks back a bit, not wanting to torture anymore, Gil lets out a small laugh, smacking her fist against his cheek "Once Akame joins us...Mera will put you down for good", it was then that Daikon wanted to ask something.
He slowly looked into her eyes, still clenching his fists "W-why does Mera...hate men?", Gil lightly shrugged while closing her eyes "Honestly I'm not sure, all that I know is she prefers girls...which lead to some of our tendencies", this still confused him but he was slowly figuring out more about the enemy.
"Prefers them how?" he asked, she then wore a smirk "Oh everything, combat, socially...and even sexually...", this started concerning him further, he feels dread fill his body "W-what?!", Taeko kept quiet while looking down, remembering certain things she doesn't want to think about.
Gil approaches him again with a slow wink "Yes, Mera likes to...get closer to them...if you understand, what's stopping her from getting close to Akame...and even her...", Daikon had never been this scared and furious before, he thinks about Mera's face...laughing at him with glowing red eyes.
He lets out a rage filled shout "DON'T TOUCH HER!", he tries his hardest to escape from his cuffs, but just then...Gil punches his stomach one last time, making him cough, she laughs again, lightly smacking her fist against his chest "Like I said Mera wants you to suffer...one way or another".
Taeko sighs quietly while looking away "I don't think that will be necessary, can't we just leave them alone", Gil walks to her and touches her shoulder "No need to worry, I'm not saying it will happen, besides...she only wants Akame herself".
The quiet assassin crossed her arms and faces the door, not very comfortable talking about these things, Gil opens the door and faces Daikon, contempt with the torture "Be thankful lady Mera isn't killing you or your friends yet, so embrace these times as much as you can...".
The door shuts and he is left alone, only able to talk to himself as he stays cuffed to the wall "I hope the team is doing alright, they should arrive soon", Daikon would sigh, looking at his clothes that are in the very left corner of the room, the silence allowed him to think quiety to himself.
"Even if I regain my strength...it's better to attack when the time is right" he then faced down, closing his eyes to take a nap "Please stay strong you 2", the only thing he can do is imagine himself fighting an opponent, that opponent would be Mera, until the others arrive...he will have to rely on Image training.
The illusion of Mera would stare with a smirk, staring at him with those wicked eyes, Daikon in his head would be wearing his outfit as well as holding his sword, he begins to mentally fight the illusion, remembering how she fought in their previous battle.
"I have to memorize her fighting style as many times as I fight her here, even if I'm doing nothing physically...i can still get some training out of this" he thought to himself, for now all 3 of them would have to wait until their allies can find them, but they won't be coming alone.
Meanwhile, Kyoroch
Kyoroch is a metropolis with it's own unique culture, there was a larch mansion at the far back of the city, a mansion Gozuki and his team were inside in order to ask for help, "So, you want us to help you fight the Oarburghs?" a woman asked, she had black hair and wore a loose kimono shirt.
"Yes Suzuka, we'll need you and Mez to sneak into their base and free my 3 assassins, then the rest of us will attack their fortress" Gozuki responded as he had his hand on his swords pommel, Mez approached him with a smile, she was petite with blond hair in pigtails "Sure thing father, we'll get things done".
Natala scratched his head "Wait, did she just say father?", Gozuki turned back "Yes she is my daughter, one of the reasons I'm connected with this group", Green fixed his glasses, looking towards the other 2 members of the rakshasa demons.
One of them was large middle-aged with a bald head and bushy black beard, the other was another muscular man, however he had ghostly white skin and purple hair, "So uh...how about these 2 guys?" Green asked, the bearded man replied seriously "Like what your leader says, we'll attack the fortress and release the enemy's souls".
"Release souls?" Natala asked, Green slightly shrugged "Must be his way of saying killing people", after they further discussed their plan the team stood outside the mansion, Suzuka and Mez began their trip as they jumped on top of buildings, Gozuki watched as the other 2 men stood behind him.
"So do we begin our journey too?" Cornelia asks while staring at the rest of the city, "Yeah, these 2 know where their base is also, it'll take a couple days to get there but we'll manage" he replied calmly, the man with white skin looks where Suzuka and Mez went, pointing at the direction they need to go.
Natala looks as well while holding his weapon "I guess that's where we need to go, let's hope those 3 hang in there" he says, everyone then begins leaving the metropolis, Gozuki turns to Natala as they walked "I see you're taking this way more seriously, good".
The young man nods his head, clenching onto his weapon "Of coarse, those 2 are my friends...and I'm their team leader", the leader lightly patted his shoulder "Your taking responsibility for your team...that's the sign of a good leader" he said with a small smile.
Green also looks worried and serious "Akame, please be safe" he thought, "You feeling ok?" Cornelia asked while looking at him, he responded with a studder "Y-yeah, just worried about Akame is all", she smiled since she knew something about him liking her.
She crossed her arms and stared ahead at the road, the thought of losing another friend bothered her as well "We already lost Najasho, Poney, Guy and Tsukushi, we don't need to lose Akame too" she thought to herself, she clenched her fist which held her gauntlet, determined to free Akame from her fate.
Suzuka and Mez have already left the city, now running through the forests with great speed, "We'll most likely be there 1 day before them" Mez mentioned to her partner, Suzuka nods in agreement "That may be true though we must not be caught, this clan is quite favorable towards women".
As they ran they heard the sound of a loud crash, "What was that?" Suzuka asked, they both turned their heads to find nothing, "Sounded like something crashed against a mountain" Mez said curiously.
After looking closely she could barely see a large disk-shaped object crashed into the side of a small mountain, "Lets hurry to the base, we can't waste time here" Suzuka says as she starts running, Mez soon follows, ignoring the odd object that crashed.
1 day later, the Oarburgh base
"Ok, we are back from Sweun" Mera says after opening the entrance to the base, Akame looks tired, the 2 of them have been spending time together, for Akame she had to play along or else "Yeah, I saw you paying attention to a tanned man with a x-shaped scar on his face".
Mera shrugs it off "He had some good strength for a man, but not enough to really impress me", they both walked inside a room with a large couch, Gil and another girl in a maid outfit were sitting on it, "Welcome back madam" Gil says with a happy expression.
The woman smiled and lightly pushes Akame inside, wanting her to be apart of the conversation, "Yes we're back from a short trip to a lifeless town, I was just showing Akame here about the truth of the Empire".
The other girl sat up and waved at Akame "Hello, I really hope you can join us", sweat dripped off her face as she replied "Yeah I'm still thinking about it", Gil sighed and stood up "So madam, what are we supposed to do while you try to get Akame to join?" she asked.
"Just relax while you can, we'll be doing our own operations once the rebels have no need for us" Mera casually replies, she then looked at Akame with a smile "Now Akame, I'll be waiting patiently for your verdict, perhaps we can persuade you further".
Akame looked around slightly, she was feeling a bit of anxiety "What do you mean by that?", Gil knew where this was going and sat back down, watching carefully, Mera approached closer "Have you ever felt the Empire doesn't care for you?" she asked.
This got her thinking, but she quickly denies it "My leader and my friends care about me", Mera shook her head, she moved her hand as she talked "The Empire as a whole doesn't care about your well-being, they care about using you as a tool for their wrathful desires".
Akame listened closely, she had to stay strong for her friends and her sister, Gil then jumped into the talk "At least here in the Oarburghs Mera cares and loves us with all her heart, she wouldn't think of us as only tools for killing, that is why we are loyal to her".
Mera spreads her arms "Yes...love, I love all my assassins with care and protection, I don't think the Empire does such things for you or your friends", the red eyed girl puts her hands on her hips "Well...maybe, but I'm not betraying the Empire just because a woman tells me too".
The maid girl crossed her right leg over her left one, showing a bit of her thighs "There are many perks joining us has, one of them being love", Mera agrees with a soft smile "Yes, not just simple love for your family and friends...but companionship as well" she further explained.
Akame remained quiet as everyone told her all this, she still didn't quite understand a whole lot, but she knew they were trying to pull her to their side, "You still don't understand what we mean huh" Gil sighed while clenching her fists.
Mera then got even closer to Akame, very uncomfortably close "We all love each other romantically, we comfort each other in hard times, we cuddle...we kiss...and we love", she then grabbed Akame's behind, a lustful grin formed on her face.
Akame's heart raced out of fear "W-what do you think your doing!" she uttered a yelp, her face now red, "Join us Akame" Gil says confidently, Mera tried to kiss her only for it to land on the cheek as the red eyed girl tries to escape her grasp "Get off me!".
"Girls, please help me" Mera says in a heated voice, Gil and the other girl were blushing as well, they walked to them and started holding Akame forcefully, trying to rip off her clothing, "No, this can't be happening!" Akame yelled in her head, she fights back but she is too outnumbered to do much.
She lets out a shout and kicks Gil into a wall, causing it to crack "Damn you" the blonde muttered, Akame tries to hit the other girl with her elbow, managing to hit her chest and make her stop in pain, the bug lady catches one of her arms to stop her.
Akame aimed a punch at Mera only to be countered with a dodge and a elbow to the stomach, the other 2 kick her down repeatedly, making sure to damage her enough to calm her down, "Alright...don't hurt her anymore, she won't be that good if she's too damaged" Mera says.
Akame cries out in frustration as the girls were surrounding her, her white clothing was now a bit torn, luckily not enough to reveal her sensitive areas, Mera lets out a laugh, clearly exited to see such a thing "Don't resist Akame, we care about you more than the Empire ever could!".
"Just forget about your friends, they are too far gone from the corruption, just give in to our love and work for us" Gil says, Akame's back hits the wall as the other slowly approach her, Mera spreads her arms once more in a hugging motion, slowly getting closer to her.
The door then opened, Chelsea pointed at Mera with an angered face "That's enough, if you want her to join this isn't the way to do it", Mera turned around "Why so angry Chelsea...you want to join in as well?" she asked, she stood up as her body faced the red head.
Chelsea shook her head "No thank you, but i feel you might be going too far", "Too far?, i don't know about that" Mera replied, Chelsea sighed quietly as if she was preparing herself to do something, she briefly clenched her fists before calming herself down.
She walks closer to Mera, "That girl that Mera told to stay with Kurome...she saved me?" Akame asks herself in her thoughts, there was a moment of silence between the 2, just when Mera was about to get back to her activity Chelsea slaps her hard across the face.
Everyone was caught off guard by this...but not as surprised as Mera herself, her eyes were wide, but after that...her heart raced with anger "How dare you hurt me!", she kicks Chelsea against a wall, now very frustrated and angry with her, Chelsea stood back up "I've had enough of you Mera, I'm leaving the Oarburghs".
Gil was shocked to hear such a thing "Y-your leaving?" she studdered, Akame watched carefully, she didn't expect someone in this clan to help her, this gave her more hope in escaping, Mera's body shook in rage "Leaving...you won't be leaving...".
She grabbed Akame by the neck and threw her at Chlesea, knocking both of them out the door and to the ground "Guards, take both of them to a separate room!" she yelled, 2 guards then grabbed both Akame and Chelsea, walking through the hallways to take them to a different room.
"Madam, are you alright?" Gil says while giving her a hug, the woman replied with a long sigh, trying to calm herself down "I'm fine, it's just a slap", the blonde looks out the door "What do we go now, Akame hasn't gave us an answer".
Mera watched the guards take them away until they are no longer visible, she shook her head from disappointment "There's no persuading her now, she saw Chelsea stand up for her", she walks out of the room, still very upset about the slap "We'll kill her and her allies tomorrow".
Meanwhile, 3 hours later
Still in the same room her and her sister awoke in, Kurome was alseep while laying against the wall, waiting patiently for Akame to arrive, it was way harder to sleep without her sister keeping her company "Sis..." she whispered.
The last time she saw Akame was in the morning, the sky was now dusk...approaching the nighttime, she was thankful for Chelsea keeping her some company while she was struggling to stay patient in the enemy base, she opens her eyes, unable to properly sleep "Where is sis?" she asks herself.
Then she started to hear strange noises coming from the cell window, as if someone was kicking it, Kurome gets on guard, preparing herself in case it was an enemy, but as soon as the window was kicked off someone jumps inside the room, it was Suzuka.
"Huh, who are you?" she asked, the woman smiled and greets her "I'm Suzuka of the Rakshasa demons, I've been sent to help you out of your situation", Kurome's eyes light in in delight, she smiled brightly while clenching her fists in excitement.
Suzuka scratched her head "Your friends should be here by morning, it will be wise to wait to escape until then" she informs her, Kurome nodded her head "Alright I'll be patient, but what about my sis and my friend, will they be freed right now?" she asks.
She responded with a slight nod "Yes, my partner and I just need to find where they are, plus...you'll need these", she gives Kurome both her and Akame's weapons, Kurome grabs her sword and swing it a couple times, now more motivated than ever to escape.
"Just remember, we'll need to wait until the others arrive in order to fully get you out of here, we're gonna need everyone at full strength" Suzuka reminds her, the black eyed assassin nods, holding her blade tightly with a smile "Got it".
