I do not own any of these characters besides PJ. He is 3 years of age in this story.
Today is a good day for Phineas Flynn. The young father sat on a hammock in his yard. He had just got home after a long day at work and was welcomed by his energetic son, Phineas Junior. Phineas had ultimately decided that PJ needed some fresh air. While Isabella was in her office working on her next biography on former mayor Roger Doofenshmirtz, Phineas took PJ out to play in the backyard.
PJ was running around the entire yard before hopping over the sandbox. He was full of energy as always. He then decided to head on over to the swings. He managed to launch himself high in the air on the swing. He was having the time of his life.
Phineas was reading a book on his hammock as he caught a glimpse of his happy son. It brought a smile to Phineas' face to see PJ so full of joy. He reached over and picked up his glass of lemonade before taking a sip. He watched for a while as PJ went back and forth on the swing. The sound of PJ's laughter was music to his father's ears.
After a while, PJ decided he wanted off the swing. He decided to hop off when he was given the chance and by the time the swing went back, PJ prepared himself for launch. Once the swing swung forward, PJ hopped off as his tiny body could. But quickly lost coordination. His feet didn't land on the ground, his hands and knees did. He winced in pain as he felt his skin being scraped. He sat up, tears forming in his eyes.
"Daddy!" He cried.
Phineas looked over and gasped, hopping off his hammock, and rushed over to his son. "Oh, PJ..." He picked his son up and gasped at the cuts of PJ's knees. His hands were only scratched up, but PJ's knees suffered the worst treatment. PJ's bottom lip trembles as he buried his head on his dad's shoulder, quietly sobbing.
Phineas immediately darted back into the house and called out for his wife with desperation. 'Isabella! Come here quick! PJ's hurt!"
In an instant, Isabella darted down the stairs faster than a cheetah in a marathon. She found Phineas in the kitchen, holding a weeping PJ.
Isabella rushed over to her husband and caught a glimpse of her son's bloody knees. She gasped and caressed her son's cheeks. "Oh, my poor baby. Come on, mommy and daddy will make you feel all better." She picked up PJ from his father's arms and walked out of the kitchen and down the hall towards the bathroom, with Phineas following close behind her. Despite this being a clear accident, Phineas couldn't help but feel guilty for his son's injuries, mostly because as a parent, Phineas would rather suffer than have his little boy feel any sort of pain.
Isabella and Phineas entered the bathroom and Isabella set PJ down on the counter. Isabella tried to pull away, but PJ was clutching her shirt.
"PJ, baby, you have to let go now so mommy can help make you feel better," Phineas said, patting his son's head. PJ sniffled and let go of his mother, before reaching for his father's hand, squeezing it slightly. Phineas smiled and returned the gesture with a stronger squeeze.
PJ's cheeks were still stained with tears as his mother pull out a first aid kit. Isabella took out a cotton ball and poured some peroxide on it. Phineas, understanding the unpleasant feeling of having peroxide on an open cut, had his son rest his head on Phineas' chest as he whispered. "Buddy, this is going to sting, so brace for it, okay?"
PJ understood and bit his lip as his mother dab the wet cotton ball on his cut knees. PJ squealed in pain but Isabella had it over with and quickly applied the bandages.
"There," Isabella spoke with a smile as she put the first aid kid back under the sink. She then turned to her son, who has still had a sad look on his face, but was no longer in pain.
"You okay now," Isabella asked solemnly, caressing PJ's cheek. PJ nodded slightly. "Okay, I got to get back to work. I gotta head to Gretchen's while we work on the book," Isabella leaned to plant a kiss on PJ's cheek. "Mommy loves you, baby."
PJ gave a weak smile as he hugged his mother. "I love you too, mommy."
After giving his wife a goodbye kiss and watching her leave the bathroom, grabbing her bag, and walking out the house, Phineas picked up PJ and walked into the living room. He sat down in the living room and sat PJ on his lap. Phineas looked pretty devastated at the state of his son.
PJ turned so that he was facing his father. He looked up at him and smiled, wrapping his arms around Phineas' neck. Phineas smiled and returned the embrace. So far, he felt better knowing his son was alright.
"Thank you, daddy," PJ spoke softly in Phineas' ear. Phineas, being the softie he was, almost teared up at his son.
"No problem, son," Phineas began to rub PJ's back as he continued. "Daddy loves you, PJ, and I don't like it when you get hurt. Please be careful the next time you play okay."
"Okay," PJ spoke quietly as he felt his eyes getting droopy. Soon, he fell asleep in his father's arms. Phineas kissed his son's cheek before closing his own eyes.
Sometime later, Isabella returned home and stopped in her tracks in the living room, and smiled at her sleeping husband and son. Her friends just had to see this, so she pulled out her phone and quietly took a picture, before sending it to a group chat with all of her girlfriends.

There, another sweet chapter was completed! Hope you guys enjoyed it!
As you can tell, I have a knack for making father-son moments like this. I just wished we could have known if Phineas and Ferb had children in the Quantum Boogaloo. You know, if someone were to make a father-son one-shot based on ANY of the characters of this show, then that would be a challenge!
Anyway, PLEASE REVIEW!
