Author's Note

I wrote this chapter intentionally with vagueness. Winston and Maggie's entire relationship is vague and a complete utter mess. I am not a fan of this pairing and didn't want to spend time giving unnecessary details to a character that was created to fan service people who don't have Maggie's best interest at heart. C'mon she was marrying a stranger.

Catherine Fox FTW!

What I wanted you the reader to get was a glimpse of Maggie alone with her thoughts on her wedding day. Not nervous, not excited but a bit of this "new" and the "old" Maggie tip toeing around each other in a way. It's not until hours and minutes before saying the vows she's like OMG why is time moving so damn fast? Which when you think about it is their relationship moving as if they are on a reality tv show pressed for time.

QTNA:Is there really a wall up between the sisters?

I like to think the Maggie we all fell in love with still exists. The one that desired her big love. That's why she's up early in the morning wondering where the hell are these big feelings I am supposed to have. It's my wedding day damn it. She stood up there next to a man getting ready to say I do and was bored. And that is what Maggie looks like to me every Thursday these last few months, bored and settling.

"Pledge my undyging love to you, Jackson."

I wrote this and screamed. I kid you not. Two moments I screamed. Okay I lied three. Mainly Catherine moments and this one. Greys is infamous for weddings never really going perfectly as planned so why not keep up that tradition? Just when you think Magston (yuck) is going to really seal the deal Maggie closes her eyes and says her vows to who she really wanted to say them to. And Catherine was HERE FOR IT! I wanted a moment where a wedding was interrupted by both Jackson and Maggie. But didn't need Jackson physically there to do it. Causethere is only one wedding interruption we approve round here it's the original. And that was Dwayne at Whitley's wedding. That was iconic for many reasons. Legendary! You didn't need actors telling fans on lives and tweets about endgame because canon and the content that was broadcasted for the world to see told you what you needed to know.

Whew that kind of felt like a Phadera moment.

Okay back to this wedding. But I needed the moment to be big and overpowering in a way that it takes over Maggie that she just says the vows completelyand forgets Winston even exists. That's how deep those feelings are when she takes that breath.

We are on the Fox jet to Boston. It's going to be a bumpy ride. Hold on!!

The song she is listening to was Whoa by Snoh Aalegra
