Hey everyone!
No I hadn't forgotten about updating before you wonder. Work has suddenly increased and it's an adjusting phase again for me. England is in the middle of a heatwave and we've come out of lockdown... right as the school holidays start. I hate to ask but please bare with me again. Thank you to everyone for reading my stories. It means a lot.
Stay safe.
Lots of love,

Breaking Traditions-Part 48:
Lucius, Narcissa, Priscilla and Abraxas and Cygnus were sat down one evening making the most of the last rays of autumn sun as Rosalie was finally asleep for a few hours. Narcissa had her head resting on Lucius' shoulder as she sipped on her tea.
"So… when are we thinking about the announcement of Rosalie?" Cygnus asked, "I mean that is surely the next step that has to happen."
"Cissa and I have spoken about that and we were saying that the three month mark would be the point which we'd start thinking about it because that makes the most sense," Lucius said, "that and we'd be in a routine with her and able to be comfortable in front of people with her," he said as she stroked Narcissa's cheek softly.
"Yes. We wanted to be settled with her and sure that nothing would happen to Rosa because she is still a baby and I don't want anything to happen to her," Narcissa said softly, "Rosa's safety and growth is what has always been first priority and always will be," she said before falling silent again as she began to sip her tea once more as silence fell on the room.
Abraxas was clearly deep in thought as he sipped his tea and he waited until the silence became far too uncomfortable before he spoke.
"I have a contact at the Daily Prophet and will contact him when the time is right and when you wish for it to happen," he said as Lucius looked at him and nodded softly.
"Thank you father," he said, "that would be lovely," he added before Narcissa nodded and added her thanks to her father-in-law as well.
"I've been thinking…" Narcissa said as she moved her head from Lucius' shoulder and looked at her husband, "I want to take Rosa to the Vineyards before she's revealed to the world," she said, "we haven't been away in ages and it's also been a while since we were at the Vineyards anyway so we are due a visit before the harvest starts. Also my mother can't get there so we'll be safe as well," she said with a slight smirk and Priscilla chuckled.
"I think you're going son… whether you'd planned to or not," she said causing Lucius to sigh. He knew that he also had to speak to Narcissa about the Vineyards partnering up with the Ministry of Magic.
"I guess we could go yes," Lucius said as he looked at Narcissa. He could slip that into the discussion somewhere and not have to ponder how to bring it up with her.
"You can go…" Abraxas said, "but I want Priscilla to go with you," he said, "I know you'll be safe there as Druella can't get there but I think Narcissa would like the company as well."
"But, father, you two have barely been apart… at least like this since you were married," Lucius said as he looked at his father and watched him.
"That is true but it has to happen at some point and Cissa will need the company after all," Abraxas said, "Cygnus and I can remain here and keep an eye on things here for you both," he said and Cygnus nodded in agreement,
"Yes we can," he said as he looked at his daughter and son-in-law, "it'll do you both some good to get away with Rosalie before she's revealed to the world."
"Then that way when you come back we can get the interview arranged and the world can know what has happened behind the doors of Malfoy Manor," Priscilla said, "and my shopping dates with Cissa can resume. I have missed them," she said and Narcissa instantly nodded as she looked at her mother-in-law.
"Yes. So have I," she said softly as she sipped on her tea once more, "I half want to keep her our secret but someone will find out eventually and then it'll reflect badly on us and that is somethings that I cannot have as Rosa isn't a secret at all and she shouldn't be kept secret any longer than she has to be," she said causing everyone to nod in agreement.
"When would be the ideal time to go?" Cygnus asked.
"Well the harvest is due within the next couple of weeks," Lucius said, "so maybe the day after tomorrow would be ideal and then we can be there for the harvest for a change instead of missing it. The grapes are always needed at different times with what we produce there."
"That sounds like a lovely idea," Abraxas said, "you always seem to worm your way out of the harvest season," he said with a smirk at the same time Narcissa elbowed him.
"Point taken… both points," Lucius said with a chuckle.
The next day the preparations began to Lucius, Narcissa, Rosalie and Priscilla to head to the Vineyards. There were things there for the adults, of course, but there was nothing for Rosalie yet so there were plans in motion to order things and get them delivered that night so they could be taken to the Vineyards and set up there. There was no fear of any of the workers to reveal Rosalie to anyone as they'd all signed agreements not to reveal anything they said or heard at the Malfoy Vineyards.
Abraxas and Priscilla had stolen away for a moment alone.
"You'll be fine Cilla," Abraxas said softly as he stroked his wife's cheek softly, "it's only for a couple of weeks anyway."
"I know but it'll feel odd without you there," Priscilla said, "wre always go together," she said and Abraxas kissed her softly.
"We will do next time. Have to keep an eye on Lucius and what he's up to. It won't be that long before Draco starts being fed into the Vineyards," he said as he kissed her softly.
The two soon joined up with the rest as they were shrinking things that they had ordered for Rosalie.
"We'll be able to get a bedroom together for her whilst we're there and that was something that we needed to do at some point anyway," Narcissa said, "that was also my thinking when I suggested going to the Vineyards," she said.
"Always have ideas don't you, my rose?" Lucius said as he kissed her softly and chuckled.
Eventually the next day arrived and Lucius, Narcissa, Rosalie and Priscilla headed to the Vineyards, ready for some more firsts and memories that would be created with Rosalie. Narcissa was determined to get Rosalie's feet into the pool and that was something that she would achieve.
