Hello my fellow readers, writers, and people who have been enjoying this story so far, I'm back with yet another new chapter. In this chapter we're going to be going over the events of episode 88 of Fairy tail titled for pride's sake, the river of stars. I don't know how much will change but I can guarrentee that at least a little bit will change.

I don't have anything else to add so without further ado let's get this show on the road.

Lucy's P.O.V.

As I took up my combat pose the old man said "you're one of those meddling wizards from Earthland aren't you what is the meaning of this and what has become of hughs and Sugarboy." I started thinking to myself "I know Natsu and hope can handle themselves but this girl needs my help and why does this guy want one of my keys."

The old guy said "I demand you hand over the key immediately" and I said "oh I'll let you have something alright" and I pulled off Taurus's key from my pouch and pointed it at him. I then called out "open gate of the golden bull: Taurus" and he appeared from the ground and he looked back at me and said "nice outfit miss Lucy I got to say I approve" in his normal lecherous way.

I said "can't you just come through without coming on" and the old man said "what in blazes is that a magic cow" and Taurus said "if I do this for you will you finally give me that smooch." I said "make him see stars and I promise I'll at least think about it now move" and Taurus said "Stars coming right up." He then smashed his axe into the ground which sent a shockwave at the old man who managed to just barely dodge it by jumping back.

I said "that's my Taurus" and he said "well this ain't my first rodeo" and the old man was just standing there while apparently thinking to himself. Taurus said "now lights out" and the old man said "lights on" while splashing Taurus with something that set him on fire while calling out "Flame liquid." I said "no Taurus" as he was sent back to the celestial world and I said "that fire where did it come from."

The girl that I was trying to save said "Careful he's dangerous" and he sent another liquid at me which created tornados all around me while he called out "Storm liquid." While I was sliding across the floor I grabbed another key and called out "okay open gate of the maiden: Virgo." Virgo appeared right under him and hit him with an uppercut from underground and he seemed so shocked.

He said "another creature from nowhere is she using a spell similar to Anima" and in her own normal way Virgo said "punishment time" and formed a yellow mass in her hands. The old guy said "what" and she called out her own spell "Spica hole" and drove him right into the ground. Virgo then slid right up next to me and said "will you punish me now princess" and I said "you are too weird."

There was rumbling from apparently nowhere and what sounded like an avalanche and I said "what's all that noise." Virgo said "it's probably just your tummy hungry" and I said "way off base" and she said "am I in trouble" in an excited voice. I then heard that weird snickering thing the old man was doing before the hole that he had been essentially thrown into got bigger.

Then from under the girl that I was trying to save a tentacle came up and grabbed her and the voice of the old man which seemed somewhat distorted said "you can't run now coco." I said "what the heck is that" and Virgo said "it looks like a giant octopus" and I said "yeah I can see that thanks." The old man's voice said "you're right I've ingested octopus liquid" and then said to the girl who I guessed was named coco "yes go ahead and scream all you like no amount of that strange otherworldly magic can save you now."

Hope then came down from the corridor that led to the amusement park and said "I'm here to" only to cut herself off when she saw the current form of the old man and said "okay what the hell is that thing." I said "short answer this old guy who drank something that turned him into an octopus" and I said "that's both amazing and disgusting at the same time."

I said "tell me about it" and Hope said "I'd like to take you up on that" and he raised a tentacle and prepared to slam it down on her. As he was swinging it down it looked like it had crushed her but instead it had been cut off by this magenta colored light blade she had covering her hand. She said "well I'm surprised that worked but I guess it's more like those light blades from that show that someone had tried to talk to me about when I was on Earth when I was little."

The old guy cried out in pain and then turned to me and I said "uh he's wrong right" and Virgo said "no I'm afraid I can't help you." I said "Are you seriously going to just give up like that" and as he was about to slam a tentacle down on me Hope got in front of me and cut that one off too. She looked back at me while ignoring the guy's scream of pain and said "do whatever you can to get the girl I'll hold him off."

I said "got it" and I looked around for something to get up to the girl only for the old man to actually hit me which I managed to cling to this red orb that I assumed was part of the amusement park. I said "Virgo get me down from here" and instead of doing so she landed below me and said "princess catch." She then threw this short staff that imbedded itself into the orb that I was in and I said "you almost took my head off with that thing.

What the heck is it" and I grabbed it out of the hole it made in the orb and Virgo said "it's an extendable whip from the Celestial world. The ara-danius constellations vlot de talt" and I said "from the river of the stars" and Virgo said "you can use it if you like princess but I doubt it will be much help." I said "you could try to look on the bright side every once in a while" and the octopus man caused the pole the orb I was clinging to, to fall closer to him.

He said "yes come closer we'll end this quickly" and Virgo said "goodbye and best of luck to you princess" and I said "here we go." I activated the whip and the octopus man said "more strange magic I'm afraid it won't help you in the slightest bit" and I swung it onto his face only for him not to be hurt and he said "just as I thought but if you'd like to trade lashes I'd be happy to oblige" and he smacked me onto this castle tower roof.

He said "I'm confused Earthland wizard earlier you said you would take care of me is this how you intended to make good on your word." I said "oh man Virgo was right this whip isn't doing anything" and the octopus man said "what's wrong has your bizarre magic from your realm failed you" and I came to a realization.

"My magic every time I call multiple spirits it totally drains my magical power all of it that's why she gave this to me." I stood up and said quietly "thank you I love knowing that my spirits care for me it fills me with strength. He said "I hope you've made your peace with it" and he swung down at me again and I said more to myself "she called this an extendable whip right" and I wrapped it around one of his tentacles.

I swung from it and landed on another tentacle and started running up it and I said to the octopus man "get your tentacles off her." He said "why should I she's part of our army and therefore you enemy her fate should be of no concern to you Earthlander" and he swung at me again which I dodged by grabbing onto another tentacle with the whip.

I said "can't you see she's in pain" and he said "this is just a taste of what's to come" and he squeezed her tighter which caused her to cry out in more pain. I said "that does it" and I managed to grab onto another tentacle and got behind him and he said "stop scurrying around like a parasite." I said "I have to care about her because it's obvious you don't and if you feel that way about your own comrade I can't let you win because I'm a member of Fairy tail."

An Explosion occurred right on the side of his head curtesy of Hope and she said "neither can I and same here" and she got another explosive ready. I wrapped my whip around his remaining tentacles that Hope didn't cut off and stuck them together and he said "my hand's she's completely tied me up." He said "how dare you lecture me" and he started burning but that because Natsu was still smacking around the guy who was on the boat that I'm guessing was either Sugarboy or hughs.

Natsu said "so you think I'm a monster huh well you ain't seen nothing yet" and the fire that he created engulfed the octopus man. I said "Natsu" and the octopus guy was completely stopped and thankfully he let go of the girl before he was burned to a crisp. I was sitting on one of the poles that had held a sign and Natsu said "wow what's this huge blob" and while spinning the handle of the whip around I said "well you always know how to make an entrance."

Natsu said "who's that on the ground" and I said "I hope she's okay" and Natsu said "do you know this girl" and I responded "I can't say I really know her." She started whimpering like a dog would and Natsu said "what's wrong" and I said "seriously are you okay" and Natsu said "does you tummy hurt or something" and I said "I don't think that's it."

She then held up this key that she had been holding the entire time and she said "this key is what he wanted it'll turn on a machine that will kill all of your friends." Natsu said "what'd you say" and I said "are you talking about the thing that's going to make that lacrima crash into Extalia. What are you doing running around the castle with it like this" and she laid it at our feet and said "they said we could have everlasting power.

But I decided I wanted everlasting peace instead so please help me destroy it for good" and she had tears running down her face. She said "I'm begging you" and I said "so you're saying all we have to do to stop them from crashing that lacrima is to destroy this key that's amazing." Natsu said "alright I got this" but as she was about to hand it to him the guy in pink armor placed a pink frog thing in his hand and grabbed the key himself.

He was sliding across the floor and as he was sliding away he said "stop right there coco even you have better sense then to hand something this important over to an enemy of the kingdom. This key belongs to his majesty and she called out "Sugarboy" and Natsu said "he took it" and I said "oh no." the girl who I now knew was called coco called out to him "give it back" and a bike looking thing jumped over the octopus man and Grey called out "stop right there you hear me."

Sugarboy said "of course I hear you I just don't care" and Grey said "you're just going to make this worse" and as he was speeding after Sugarboy I saw Hope jump on the ride."

Hope's P.O.V.

As we were speeding along the ground on the bike Grey said "listen up guys there's no need for you to worry about mr. big chin here this one's all mine. Everything else is up to you" and I said "there's really nothing else for them to handle since they already took care of the octopus creep." I heard the pink armor guy said "you're both like persistent rashes you just keep coming back don't you."

Grey said "come on and say that to my face man" and I said "and you'll find when the lives of our friends are on the line we won't stop until we're dead." He then said "I'll have to deal with the both of you quickly with my versolata" which he slid on the floor which the wave the came at us Grey avoided. I said "get ahead of him I can stop him from moving along the floor like that" and he put more power into the bike and got ahead of pink armor guy.

I then threw three stone golems ahead of us and they grew and pink armor guy ran into them and he said "these creatures are no match for my versolata." He then hit each of them with a light blow and they collapsed into puddles and I said "they may not have been but they will be now" and I activated arc of empowerment and they reformed.

Pink armor guy said "please I turned them into puddles once I can do it again" and he hit them each lightly again only for nothing to happen. He said "what's going on here" and I said "it's called arc of empowerment which reforms anything that's destroyed and makes it immune to whatever destroyed it so your magic weapon is useless against them now."

The golems then grabbed his sword and threw it away and then grabbed him and threw him back to the ground and he grunted in pain. He was struggling to get back up it seemed and I said "you ready to give the key to us now" and he said "sorry but no" and he got onto his front and started sliding across the floor again only for him to completely be grabbed by my golems again.

Grey got off the bike while I ordered my golems to hold the pink armor guy off the floor and Grey said "how were you able to slide across the floor like that." He winked and said "I just do it man" and I said "okay here's a better question what does that key do" and he said "it activates the dragon chain cannon."

I said "okay pretend we have no idea what that does" and he said "sorry the rest of classified all you need to know is I can't let you have it. It belongs to the kingdom" and Grey said "so what you're saying is we can't let you get away with it either." Grey grabbed onto the key while he was struggling in the grip of my golems and said "now shatter" and Grey said "what gives."

Pink armor guy said "I'll admit this is cold nice try ice boy" and Grey said "I hate it when people call me that. But seriously why isn't this thing cracking" and pink armor guy said "get real chump this isn't some flimsy piece of junk you know." I said "Grey get it out of his grip and onto the floor" and he obliged and I held one of my explosive totems and dropped it on the key which caused it to shatter.

He got a surprised look on his face and said "what no way you shattered the key" and I said "yeah I mean we didn't need it and I've made it unusable so that's done now." He said "you don't underst 89 and what you've done you do need it" and Grey said "explain" and he said "you need it just as much as we do.

It's the only way you'll be able to turn your friends back to normal" and Grey said "is that so you're full of shit." Pink armor guy said "it's the truth the dragon chain cannon fires condensed dragon slayer magic if you knew what that kind of magic could do in our world you'd see why you needed that key." Grey must have remembered something that he heard about dragon slayer magic and pink armor guy said "blast that lacrima with the dragon chain cannon and you'll change all your little friend back to how they were.

Do you get it now that's why neither of us could have afforded to let this key break but you've gone and done it now." Grey said "you don't know anything we've got three dragon slayers in our guild why would we need to use some stupid cannon when we've got the real thing so sorry about your key but it's history."

Pink armor guy said "by the time it would take them to shatter that lacrima it'll be too late as soon as tomorrow it will began turning into pure magic power. We were planning on dragging it into Extalia before that happened. With three dragon slayers you could probably save a few more of your friends but there is no way you can save all of them.

In fact, most of them will not survive and what's more neither will those scores of innocent civilians that the anima absorbed along with your precious guildmates. What about them" and then he looked at me "now why don't you use that impressive magic of yours to reform the key." Grey said "you just told us all that we needed to know" and I said "not going to happen pink armor guy."

He said "are you crazy I wasn't bluffing you know do you realize you've just doomed your friends to be destroyed." Grey said "you're wrong we're taking them all back with us we're going back to our world" and he formed ice blades in his hands. He then sliced him along and called out one of his signature attacks "ice blade: seven slice dance" and that caused pink armor guy to go limp and I gave the telepathic command to drop him.

He weakly said "you've made a terrible mistake ice boy one that you'll surely regret forever that was the only thing that could have saved them. Then like a fool you went and demolished it anyway" and Grey said "oh yeah you want to know why I don't like to be called ice boy. because I'm an ice make wizard" and he created and icy duplicate of the key.

Yet another chapter done in the next chapter we'll be going over the events of Fairy tail episode 89 titled the apocalyptic dragon chain cannon. Anyway the only reason I had Hope pretty much capture him was because quite frankly I feel that she would have been able to do it easily especially this rendition of her.
