Episode 37
~ Guidepost to Tomorrow (Part II) ~
Progressive Acceleration
"Do you think that Vivi-san and Haru-san would just be fine? Especially with these enemies keep on coming out from that floating shiny golden fortress over there…" asked Fūka while single-handedly took thirty undead Schutzstaffel soldiers down at the same time. Fūka's best friend and current U15 Striker Championship's champion, Rinne Berlinetta in the meantime only calmly shook her head before replying back at her (Fūka's) question just now. "Miss Einhalt and miss Vivio would definitely just be fine, Fū-chan. Because of that, we should focus our attention to defend this position instead of worrying too much about them, I believe…" replied Rinne, as she decided to also remind Fūka over the important task that has been given to them. "You're right, Rinne. Although things are now becoming even more complicated and challenging with multiple threats in which other enemies have possessed…" responded Fūka while acknowledging Rinne's reply just now.
"This third newborn world is certainly a magnet for countless evils that threaten its peace and stability. Fortunately however, we aren't the only one that have tirelessly protect this world from them, Fū-chan…" reminded Rinne, as she decided to also once again readying her "Total Fighting" combat stance at the same time. "Osu! That is why we must make sure that none of these zombies could get away from us, Rinne!" affirmatively responded Fūka before she was also readying her "Kaiser Arts" combat stance as well, in return. Rinne in the meantime was only smiling and nodding back at her best friend, Fūka. Together, Fūka and Rinne would certainly capable of stopping their enemies' plan to conquer or even perhaps destroy this third newborn world. They previously have fought and defeat countless enemies that threaten not only their beloved third newborn world but also infinite newborn multiverses out there. Because of that, this fight against Longinus Dreizehn Orden should be the same, as they always protect these countless newborn multiverses without fail.
Sadly, everything might have been proven different this time around. Rinne first noticed how things have started becoming more and more complicated ever since she returned from Eltria last year. After reunited with her beloved and cherished childhood friend, Fūka, Rinne learnt that multiple conflicts have took place in the past, as Time-Space Administrative Bureau's Special Duty Section 6 and their allies manage to so far solve them. It was also after she learnt more about more enemies that could possibly threatens this third newborn world's peace and stability, Rinne decided to help Fūka protect this newborn eternal reality together with their newfound allies. It was during their participation in Operation Reconquista that Rinne's fame as Berlinetta's Brünnhilde has been skyrocketing and almost overshadow her official title, the U15 Striker Championship's champion instead.
Prior to her return and participation in Operation Reconquista, Rinne has often getting involved in multiple incidents away from Midchilda. From her first fight against rogue Eclipse Drivers in Time-Space Administrated Bureau's administrated world number three, Vaizen to direct participation in Crossbell's war of independence, Rinne's reputation as formidable fighter has rapidly grew. Respected and feared by many, Rinne's reputation as indomitable martial artist has made her famous. Especially after she returned to Midchilda and became Time-Space Administrative Bureau's civilian collaborator. In the end, Rinne and her cherished childhood friend, Fūka would formally join Time-Space Administrative Bureau, as they would also contribute a lot on safeguarding these newborn multiple multiverses' peace and karmic balance together with others.
Swiftly Rinne took twenty or so undead Schutzstaffel soldiers down using her signature magically enhanced punch, "Longinus" before turning her attention towards Fūka. Her cherished childhood friend, Fūka Reventón was in the meantime skilfully and gracefully took twenty or so undead Schutzstaffel soldiers down with combination of several signature moves from "Kaiser Arts", "Strike Arts" and "Spring Sunlight Fist" that she learnt in the past. "This is endless! Do you have a better idea to defeat them once and for all, Rinne?" asked Fūka while complaining about hundreds of undead Schutzstaffel soldiers that keep on emerging from Glaðsheimr non-stop. "Sadly no, Fū-chan. Unless we have someone that could cast triple A-class bombardment, they would keep on swarming at us…" responded Rinne, as Fūka noticed a disappointed tone in her (Rinne's) voice.
"Urgh, even fighting Sinh, the Slumbering Dragon would proven a lot easier than fighting these endless hordes of undead shock troopers…" added Fūka before taking another ten or so undead Schutzstaffel soldiers down using her own version of "Hegemon Sky-severing Knuckle" or "Haō Dankū Ken". Rinne in return was only reluctantly nodding back at Fūka as she took another five or so undead Schutzstaffel soldiers down using her (guided) shooting spell, "Cross Fire Shoot" this time around.
Fūka's remark has once again reminded Rinne to an investigation or to be exact adventure that they together with Einhalt and Vivio were participating in the past. It was shortly after receiving a fossilised dragon talon from her acquaintance, Rixia Mao, Rinne successfully convinced Fūka, Einhalt and Vivio to track the place in which this aforementioned unusual gift originally came from. Unexpectedly, it would later brought the four of them back to the elusive land of Drangleic, in which its grand majestic kingdom once stood tall and shook the heaven.
It was during this second visit to the elusive land of Drangleic that Rinne together with Fūka, Einhalt and Vivio made their way to Sanctum City of Shulva in which previously concealed deep beneath the deepest part of Drangleic's underground ravines and poisonous caves known as Black Gulch. Within the deepest inner sanctum of Shulva, the underground sanctum city itself, Rinne, Fūka, Einhalt and Vivio encounter one of the abyss' fragment, as well as the corrupted giant slumbering dragon, Sinh. Only after a long and exhausting battle that they manage to successfully defeat the aforementioned abyss' fragment together with Sinh, the Slumbering Dragon in which indiscriminately began to attack them.
Despite proven to be long, tedious and exhausting, their confrontation with the aforementioned abyss' fragment, Elana, the Squalid Queen and Sinh, the Slumbering Dragon were still somewhat easier than fighting Longinus Dreizehn Orden together with their swarming undead Schutzstaffel soldiers. Fūka and Rinne were aware of that, as they tried to hold these undead Schutzstaffel soldiers from advancing even further. Slowly but surely however, these undead Schutzstaffel soldiers began to overwhelm Fūka and Rinne with their superior numbers that keep on emerging from Glaðsheimr. Since unlike Elana, the Squalid Queen and Sinh, the Slumbering Dragon, these undead Schutzstaffel soldiers would try to endlessly swarm them.
"I agree with you, Fū-chan. Still, we must defend our position and never let any of these undead to get away. Or else, our defense lines will falter one by one…" once again responded Rinne after she previously gave cherished childhood friend, Fūka an affirmative albeit reluctant nod. "Osu! Although, it actually is very challenging for us to defend this place only by ourselves, Rinne…" replied Fūka while simultaneously decided to remind Rinne over the challenging reality that they would inadvertently face. It was also right after Fūka concluded her reply that another swarming hordes of undead Schutzstaffel soldiers emerge from Glaðsheimr before executing their surprisingly coordinated assault once again.
"Sadly we don't have any choices. Since we must defend this position at any cost until miss Einhalt and miss Vivio could successfully defeat any Longinus Dreizehn Orden's Einherjar that control these undead hordes, Fū-chan…" responded Rinne, as she was smiling albeit with a slightly sad expression shown on her face. From Rinne's respond just now, Fūka has once again been reminded over the gravity of this dire situation that they currently face together. Unlike any challenges that Fūka's has faced previously, her struggle to keep these swarming undead Schutzstaffel soldiers away have been proven difficult. Despite having her cherished childhood friend, Rinne with her, Fūka knew very well on how their strength alone would be proven extremely inadequate to prevent these hordes of undead Schutzstaffel soldiers' advance.
Unless Vivio and Einhalt manage to successfully defeat the aforementioned Longinus Dreizehn Orden's Einherjar that control these undead Schutzstaffel soldiers, this overwhelming invasion would never stop. Fūka and Rinne were aware of that, as they tried to hold these undead Schutzstaffel soldiers from advancing even further. Fortunately for them, not long after Fūka and Rinne desperately hold their ground against these undead Schutzstaffel soldiers, a group of reinforcement have arrive to help them. Everything started from an unexpected massive blast that incinerate most if not the entire advancing undead Schutzstaffel soldiers in front of them when both Fūka and Rinne instantly recognised their saviour's identity. It was a towering giant robot that once helped Fūka's mentor, Einhalt Stratos protect their cherished third newborn world during the tumultuous period of the First Defensive War, the last surviving and ultimate Hau Dragon-class super robot known as Great Zeorymer The Everlasting Heaven together with its pilots, Masato Akitsu and Miku Himuro.
"Are you two okay?" asked Masato, the Great Zeorymer's main pilot, as his (their) aforementioned last surviving Hau Dragon-class super robot was seen hovering on the sky. "So far we are fine, Masa-san. Although, they almost completely overrun us if it took you and Miku-san just a bit longer to arrive…" answered Fūka after letting a small relieved sigh out beforehand. "Another group of undead enemies have us preoccupied just not so long ago, miss Reventón. Especially with only miss Dunois, miss Bōdewig and her Schwarzer Hase Squadron stationed on Warsaw's border, these new invaders could easily overrun them if we don't help…" added Miku while simultaneously explain the reason behind her (their) tardiness.
"No one could ever predict that floating golden citadel would suddenly emerge from out of nowhere and began to invade our world. That is why every single one of us have been caught off guard by them, mister Akitsu and miss Himuro…" calmly responded Rinne before she leaped back and stood behind the said Hau Dragon-class super robot, Great Zeorymer The Everlasting Heaven itself. "I previously thought ZEUTH's new members and SDS6 would be able to prevent them from crossing dimension, Berlinetta-san, Reventón-san. Sadly that has not been the case…" lamented Masato, as he turned his attention towards Glaðsheimr in which still currently floating in front of them while remain unharmed.
"They are trying to destroy Glaðsheimr as we speak at this very moment, mister Akitsu. It has just been extremely unfortunate that our enemies are way stronger than before…" reminded Rinne while simultaneously readying another salvo of her (guided) shooting spell, "Cross Fire Shoot" once again. "I also agree with Rinne. Surely, Haru-san, Vivi-san and others are trying to take Glaðsheimr down. That is why, we should also play our part and protect this place until they manage to successfully destroy Glaðsheimr, Masa-san, Miku-san!" added Fūka, as she was also approvingly smiled towards the direction in which Great Zeorymer The Everlasting Heaven currently floating on the sky above her.
"Thanks for reminding me that, Berlinetta-san, Reventón-san. Miku and I will definitely play our part to keep this area safe until our friends return. Would you two help us to achieve that?" acknowledged Masato in his respond towards Rinne and Fūka's statement just now before he decided to ask their help in return. "Certainly mister Akitsu. I will definitely help you to protect this place without fail…" affirmatively answered Rinne, as she made a promise to help Masato and Miku protect this place from Longinus Dreizehn Orden's invading forces. "Osu! When we all work together, everything is going to be just fine! I promise you that!" added Fūka with another encouragement by grinning towards Masato and Miku in their Great Zeorymer The Everlasting Heaven shortly afterwards. At the same time, Fūka was also preparing the one and only signature (aimed) cross-range shooting spell that her beloved mentor, Einhard Stratos has taught her, "Hegemon Sky-breaking Sever" or "Haō Kūha Dan".
Almost immediately after Fūka and Rinne concluded their respond towards Masato's enquiry, another swarming hordes of undead Schutzstaffel soldiers once again emerge from Glaðsheimr. Unlike before, these aforementioned undead Schutzstaffel soldiers were fully equipped with Type-IV Held Krieger armour worn by Artificial Heroic Spirits that Ainsworth employed during Operation Reconquista. This time around however, almost every single undead Schutzstaffel soldiers that has just newly emerge from Glaðsheimr has been fully equipped with Type-IV Held Krieger armour. Because of that, each one of them would now possess strength in which comparable to at the very least C-ranked Servant used in any of the past Holy Grail Wars.
"Damn! It seems our enemies have decided to get serious…" cursed Fūka while clenching her teeth in frustration. "Should Miku and I deal with them? We should be able to completely eradicate them using one of Great Zeorymer's attack…" suggested Masato, as he offered his help to destroy these incoming Type-IV Held Krieger-equipped undead Schutzstaffel soldiers. "That would be a good idea mister Akitsu. Since Fū-chan and I could then focus our attention on their leader…" affirmatively acknowledged Rinne before turning her attention towards her dearest childhood friend, Fūka afterwards. "Masato-kun?" asked Miku, as Masato in return was only smiling towards her. "I know, Miku. Now, let us do this and give them the taste of Great Zeorymer's true power!" replied Masato before flying Great Zeorymer The Everlasting Heaven in front of Fūka and Rinne, facing the swarming hordes of Type-IV Held Krieger-equipped undead Schutzstaffel soldiers.
"Which one of its attack should I use, Masato-kun? Since stronger version of Infernal Hades is now possible to execute with Great Zeorymer's output energy…" replied Miku with another question, as she was also ready to assist Masato executing any of Great Zeorymer's attacks. "That might be a bit too much, Miku. How about J-Kaiser instead of Infernal Hades?" asked Masato while suggesting a less destructive attack to be used instead. "Rose C'est La Vie's weapon, right? That would be a better choice to mitigate any unnecessary destruction, Masato-kun…" affirmatively responded Miku before she decided to activate Great Zeorymer's weapon in which previously belongs to another Hau Dragon-class super robot, Rose C'est La Vie.
"Uhm, should we also help them as well, Rinne?" asked Fūka, as she was also ready to execute her own modified version of (aimed) cross-range shooting spell, "Hegemon Sky-breaking Sever" or "Haō Kūha Dan" towards those incoming Type-IV Held Krieger-equipped undead Schutzstaffel soldiers. "I don't think we can, Fū-chan. Since these undead soldiers' master has finally show himself…" answered Rinne before letting Fūka knew that the aforementioned undead Schutzstaffel soldiers' master, Longinus Dreizehn Orden's twelfth Einherjar, Hróðvitnir has finally decided to reveal himself. Almost immediately after Rinne's finished her answer that the said Longinus Dreizehn Orden's twelfth Einherjar, Hróðvitnir in which previously known as Wolfgang Schreiber has finally arrived in front of them.
"Is he the one? I never thought someone this young would be one of Obsidian Round Table's Einherjar, Rinne…" telepathically stated Fūka when she personally saw Hróðvitnir for the very first time in combat. "Don't let your guard down, Fū-chan. Since according to miss Einhalt and miss Vivio, he actually is very dangerous…" warned Rinne, as she telepathically responded back at her dearest childhood friend, Fūka Reventón's remark just now. "O-okay…" replied Fūka before briefly glancing at Great Zeorymer The Everlasting Heaven in which currently began the process of eradicating those hundreds of Type-IV Held Krieger-equipped undead Schutzstaffel soldiers in front of them. It was almost immediately after making sure that Masato and Miku could handle those aforementioned Type-IV Held Krieger-equipped undead Schutzstaffel soldiers alone that Fūka decided to execute her own modified version of (aimed) cross-range shooting spell, "Hegemon Sky-breaking Sever" or "Haō Kūha Dan" towards Hróðvitnir.
"Fū-Shiki Haō Kūha Dan (Fū-style Hegemon Sky-breaking Sever)!"
Simultaneously, Rinne has also decided to execute her (guided) shooting spell, "Cross Fire Shoot" that she learnt and master in the past. Since the combination from both "Cross Fire Shoot" and "Hegemon Sky-breaking Sever" would hopefully be enough to take Hróðvitnir down or at the very least injure him. Unfortunately however, none of those supposedly powerful spells manage to injure Hróðvitnir, as he began to taunt both Fūka and Rinne with his maniacal laugh in return. Fūka and Rinne cautiously leaped back, as they have heard about the menacing danger in which Longinus Dreizehn Orden's Einherjar possessed. Vivio and Einhalt have previously told them about these dangerous Longinus Dreizehn Orden's Einherjar, as Fūka and Rinne personally remember that very well. Because of that, they decided to fight Hróðvitnir cautiously. Since it was only by doing so that Fūka and Rinne would perhaps be able to defeat him in the end.
"We might need to go with full throttle and absolute firepower from now, Fū-chan. Is it okay with you?" asked Rinne telepathically before she once again readying her fighting stance. "Osu! We will defeat him here, once and for all!" affirmatively answered Fūka, as she also once again decided to prepare another one of her own modified version of Kaiser Arts' ultimate magic-enhanced attack spell, "Hegemon Sky-severing Knuckle" or "Haō Dankū Ken". Rinne in the meantime was only quietly nodding back at Fūka and once again turned her attention towards Hróðvitnir, in which still laughing maniacally towards them. It was when Fūka and Rinne simultaneously execute their respective ultimate magic-enhanced attack spells towards Hróðvitnir while hoping that they could finally defeat him.
"Fū-Shiki Haō Dankū Ken (Fū-style Hegemon Sky-severing Knuckle)!"
"Longinus Smasher!"
Once again Fūka and Rinne execute their respective attack spells towards Hróðvitnir, in which decided to pull his broadsword to block them this time around. At the same time, the said Longinus Dreizehn Orden's Einherjar has also use his free left hand to pull his sidearm, a stockless Mauser C96 "Red 9" semi-automatic pistol from its holster before aiming it towards Rinne's forehead at point-blank range. It was also when Hróðvitnir grinned and pulled the trigger of his stockless Mauser C96 "Red 9" semi-automatic pistol while simultaneously grinning towards Fūka and Rinne. Thankfully however, Rinne's faithful Device, Scuderia in which recently has been upgraded with both Time-Space Administrative Bureau and Caledfwlch Techniques' latest technology manage to successfully activate "Round Shield", a shield-type defensive spell to protect her.
"Rinne!" shrieked Fūka half-panicking, as her face almost instantly went pale after realizing over what have just happened. "I'm fine, Fū-chan! It takes more than this kind of weak attack to kill me…" responded Rinne while reassuring her dearest childhood friend, Fūka that she was okay. At the same time, Rinne decided to also use this momentum to launch a decisive counterattack towards Hróðvitnir. It was when she once again gritted her teeth, clenched her fists and began to continuously pummel the said Longinus Dreizehn Orden's Einherjar, Hróðvitnir with series of powerful punches. Hróðvitnir in the meantime swiftly blocked Rinne's powerful rapid punches using his broadsword while grinning evilly towards her.
"Useless fool! Your attack won't even scratch me! Khe, khe, khe, khe!" taunted Hróðvitnir while once again letting his maniacal laugh towards Rinne. Indeed none of Rinne's supposedly powerful and destructive punches could even injure Hróðvitnir so far. Since the godly strength, speed and fighting prowess that he and other Longinus Dreizehn Orden's sorcerers or Einherjar had were in theory already surpassing Rinne's after all. Despite known for possessing a fist that could even in theory destroy gods and goddesses, Rinne was still unable to even land her supposedly destructive punches on Hróðvitnir. Since in reality, Rinne could probably defeat Hróðvitnir once and for all if she could land one of her punches on him, contradicting the claim that his strength, speed and fighting prowess has already surpass her.
At the same time, Hróðvitnir's overconfidence has also proven fatal for him. While busy blocking Rinne's flurry destructive punches and taunting her, Hróðvitnir has completely forgot Fūka's presence. Because of that, he was caught off guard when Fūka decided to seize this opportunity by once again executing her own modified version of Kaiser Arts' ultimate magic-enhanced attack spell, "Hegemon Sky-severing Knuckle" or "Haō Dankū Ken". Clenching both her teeth and fists, Fūka struck the unsuspecting Hróðvitnir with her own modified version of "Hegemon Sky-severing Knuckle" or "Haō Dankū Ken", in which successfully hit him in the process.
"Fū-Shiki Haō Dankū Ken (Fū-style Hegemon Sky-severing Knuckle)!"
Fūka's "Hegemon Sky-severing Knuckle" or "Haō Dankū Ken" successfully hit Hróðvitnir and sent the said unsuspecting Longinus Dreizehn Orden's Einherjar crashing on the nearby abandoned building. "Are you okay, Rinne?" asked Fūka with worried expression shown all over her face. "I'm fine, Fū-chan. Although, I never before thought that any of us would manage to land a direct hit on him…" replied Rinne while smiling towards her dearest childhood friend, Fūka as well, in return. "E, he, he. I only seize an opportunity that you give me, Rinne. Since he seems obsessed to you after all…" responded Fūka, as she also grinned reassuringly towards Rinne at the same time. It was when both Fūka and Rinne decided to briefly turn their attention toward Great Zeorymer The Everlasting Heaven that almost completely wipe those Type-IV Held Krieger-equipped undead Schutzstaffel soldiers out before smiling at one another.
"It seems that mister Akitsu and miss Himuro have almost completely destroy those undead, Fū-chan. That is why they could perhaps help us fight our opponent afterward…" mentioned Rinne while smiling and readying her combat stance once again. "Eh? Did he still alive after I hit him with Dankū Ken?" innocently asked Fūka with surprised look shown on her face. "You might inflict some injuries on him, Fū-chan. Although, I highly doubt that Sky-severing Knuckle would be enough to defeat him…" replied Rinne, as she once again decided to prepare her (guided) shooting spell, "Cross Fire Shoot". "R-really?" once again asked Fūka in disbelief when Rinne told her that Kaiser Arts' ultimate magic-enhanced attack spell, "Hegemon Sky-severing Knuckle" or "Haō Dankū Ken" has most likely been less effective to defeat Hróðvitnir once and for all. Sadly, Rinne was indeed correct, as Hróðvitnir once again emerged from underneath the nearby abandoned building's rubbles.
Accompanied with psychotic scream, Hróðvitnir raised his broadsword. His psychotic scream has mystically summon a giant undead werewolf, in which seemed ready to gnaw Fūka and Rinne with its massive jaw, as well as razor sharp fangs. Rinne instantly executed her (guided) shooting spell, "Cross Fire Shoot" towards the said giant undead werewolf that has now standing right in front of Hróðvitnir. At the same time Fūka decided to also execute her strongest magic-enhanced attack spell, "Hegemon Sky-severing Knuckle" or "Haō Dankū Ken" while hoping that together with Rinne's "Cross Fire Shoot" would be strong enough to finally perhaps brought Hróðvitnir down. Sadly none of their combined spells had been proven effective against Hróðvitnir. Especially after Hróðvitnir himself decided to reveal his true power by activating his fearsome "True" Beri'ah, "Niflheimr Fenriswolf".
Slowly, Hróðvitnir brought his broadsword down before pointing the tip of its blade towards Fūka and Rinne. "Now, it's time for you to die mongrels…" coldly and flatly declared Hróðvitnir, as the said giant undead werewolf began to let a loud bloodcurdling howl before leaping towards Fūka and Rinne's direction. Fūka quickly execute another one of her ultimate magic-enhanced attack spell, "Hegemon Sky-severing Knuckle" or "Haō Dankū Ken" towards the said giant undead werewolf while hoping that it would somehow work against the said Hróðvitnir's "True Beri'ah" this time around. Simultaneously, Rinne decided to also seize this golden opportunity by executing her previously prepared (guided) shooting spell, "Cross Fire Shoot" towards Hróðvitnir while his "True Beri'ah", "Niflheimr Fenriswolf" was currently busy dealing with Fūka.
Unfortunately Hróðvitnir together with his "True Beri'ah" were still impervious Fūka's "Hegemon Sky-severing Knuckle" or "Haō Dankū Ken" and Rinne's "Cross Fire Shoot", as if an unseen powerful "Anti Magilink Field" or "AMF" have them completely protected this time around. "This is really bad, Rinne! Since none of our attacks are working against them…" telepathically warned Fūka, as she clenched both her teeth and fists in frustration. "Indeed, especially when mister Akitsu and miss Himuro are still currently preoccupied with other enemies over there, Fū-chan. That is why we should just try our best to hold them a little longer…" replied Rinne telepathically before letting a small sigh out as well, in return.
Despite acknowledge and still trying at the same time encourage Fūka to hold their opponents just a little longer, Rinne was also fully aware of the dire predicament that they currently face in front of them. Longinus Dreizehn Orden's Einherjar or sorcerer such as Hróðvitnir has without any doubt been extremely dangerous due to directly merge each of their physical bodies with "Ahnenerbe" or more commonly known as "Divine Construct" relic. This type of sorcery that facilitates such process was widely referred as "The Eternity" or "Die Ewigkeit" in Old Belkan language. According to Vivio and Einhalt's explanation, Rinne remembered on how only in a certain extreme circumstance that such process would be allowed under Time-Space Administrative Bureau and ESUN's laws. Since the process itself often carry a huge risk of distorting or in an extreme case even destroy the existing time-space continuum of these infinite multiverses.
For that reason alone, a special "Output Limiter" was usually put upon "Die Ewigkeit"-subjected individuals such as Special Duty Section 6's commander Hayate Yagami, in which having her Linker Core directly merge with Tome of the Night Sky (that is Reinforce Eins' own Linker Core) during Book of Darkness Incident. Since this method, according to Vivio, as well as Einhalt has been proven effective until Break The World took place and unregistered individuals that have also been subjected to "Die Ewigkeit" started to emerge in various different worlds. So far, none of them possess any serious threat of distorting or in any extreme circumstances destroy the existing time-space continuum of infinite multiverses out there until Longinus Dreizehn Orden's emergence in this third newborn world one and half a week ago.
From the information that Rinne obtained, Longinus Dreizehn Orden's own version of "The Eternity" or "Die Ewigkeit" has in fact been a lot more dangerous than everyone that Time-Space Administrative Bureau and ESUN already registered. Her current confrontation with Hróðvitnir has certainly been a solid testament for that. Given that unlike Hayate, in which has a special "Output Limiter" placed on her for most of the time, Hróðvitnir's extremely volatile power was always left unrestrained. Nevertheless, Rinne and her dearest childhood friend, Fūka realized that they must still try their best to stop Hróðvitnir together with other Longinus Dreizehn Orden's Einherjar at any cost. Since only by doing so that both Rinne and Fūka could fulfil their mission while at the same time protecting this newborn eternal reality in which they together with others have cherished dearly.
It was when Rinne together with her dearest childhood friend, Fūka decided to once again prepare their combat stance. They realize that even their strongest spells were most likely proven to be futile against Hróðvitnir. Yet, Fūka and Rinne have made up their mind. They would fight Hróðvitnir and win. Especially with Great Zeorymer The Everlasting Heaven would soon be aiding them in this battle against Hróðvitnir. In the end however, Fūka and Rinne would still somehow manage to defeat Hróðvitnir without Great Zeorymer The Everlasting Heaven's help. Since a pair of new allies in which Fūka and Rinne has never before met in their life unexpectedly arrive to help them fight Hróðvitnir.
These new allies arrived when Hróðvitnir was about to unleash another one of his attack. Their arrivals have somehow caught Hróðvitnir off guard and prompted the said deranged young-looking Longinus Dreizehn Orden's Einherjar to halt his attack. Hróðvitnir was never before expect a pair of unidentified opponents could easily caught him off guard. Even when they still failed to inflict any significant injury on him, Hróðvitnir were forced to take a step back while raising his broadsword to block some of their attacks.
Fūka in the meantime was only staring at those two mysterious newcomers in awe and disbelief. She never met or even saw those two before. Certainly her beloved mentor, Einhalt, best friend, Vivio and dearest childhood friend, Rinne would also never meet them in the past. Nonetheless, one of the two newcomers' appearance have somehow reminded her of Kazuma Kenzaki or Masked Rider Blade, in which her beloved mentor, Einhalt and best friend, Vivio once fought in the past. Unlike Masked Rider Blade however, Fūka noticed on how this particular newcomer has fought with such unrestrained ferocity of mindless violent beast in which comparable to Berserker-class Heroic Spirit's "Mad Enhancement" or "Blind Rage". Using its razor sharp arm cutters and serrated handheld blade, this particular newcomer tried to overwhelm Hróðvitnir with a sheer of brute force alone. Unfortunately however, its effort has been proven unsuccessful, as Hróðvitnir manage to block all of its relentless attacks easily.
On the other hand, Fūka also noticed that its companion, the second mysterious newcomer seems to assault Hróðvitnir in more calculating and pragmatic manner. Unlike its Masked Rider Blade-look-alike companion however, its overall appearance has somehow reminded Fūka of a humanoid crow that relies on speed and agility rather than brute force alone. Nonetheless, their sudden arrival have caught Hróðvitnir off guard and force the said Longinus Dreizehn Orden's Einherjar to take one or two steps back. It was also when Fūka saw her dearest childhood friend, Rinne has somehow manage to stagger Hróðvitnir's "True Beri'ah", "Niflheimr Fenriswolf" with her signature magic-enhanced uppercut, "Longinus Strike".
"Are you okay, Fū-chan?" asked Rinne, once again with concerned look shown on her face. "I-I'm fine, Rinne. Although, no one would ever expect this kind of chaotic situation to suddenly take place in front of us…" responded Fūka back, as she once again manage to regain both her composure and focus thanks to Rinne's concerned question. "It certainly is unexpected, Fū-chan. Still, we might be able to defeat our opponents with theirs, as well as mister Akitsu and miss Himuro's help…" acknowledged Rinne while replying back at Fūka's respond just now. Shortly after replying back on Fūka's respond, Rinne once again turned her attention on Hróðvitnir's "True Beri'ah", "Niflheimr Fenriswolf" before resuming her relentless assault to destroy it.
Fūka was about to also help Rinne fight "Niflheimr Fenriswolf" when it suddenly let a bloodcurdling howl out and swung its massive claws towards her dearest childhood friend, Rinne. Everything seem to move extremely fast yet also slow at the same time for Fūka, as she could only stared in horror when "Niflheimr Fenriswolf" manage to land a direct hit at Rinne using its massive claws. Despite Rinne's attempt to raise both of her arms to block the incoming attack from "Niflheimr Fenriswolf", she could still felt its impact in which also threw her away to the other side of the battlefield. Thankfully, Rinne's faithful Device, Scuderia manage to somehow activates her Midchildan's style shield-type defensive spell, "Round Shield" in which somehow manage to cushion the blow that she received from "Niflheimr Fenriswolf" just now.
"Rinne!" shrieked Fūka, as she quickly ran towards the direction in which Rinne was thrown at. "I'm fine, Fū-chan. Since Scuderia manage to protect me somehow…" reassuringly replied Rinne before she smiled towards her dearest childhood friend, Fūka in return. "B-but you're bleeding!" argued Fūka while staring at a trail of blood that trickled down across Rinne's forehead and left shoulder. "They are just small scratches, Fū-chan. So, you shouldn't be overly worried about that…" once again reassured Rinne, as she stood back up and readying her combat stance. It was when, despite still worrying about Rinne's condition, Fūka decided to trust her. Rinne might suffered from some minor scratches or injuries when Hróðvitnir's "True Beri'ah", "Niflheimr Fenriswolf" struck her with its massive claws before. Yet, such minor injuries were never enough to actually take Rinne down, as she instead manage to stand back up with stronger determination than ever before.
There was no doubt on Rinne's eyes, as Fūka could only see strong determination has been vividly reflected on them. That was why Fūka has also decided to respond at Rinne's determination by helping her fought Hróðvitnir's "True Beri'ah", "Niflheimr Fenriswolf". It was when Fūka and Rinne renewed their assault towards Hróðvitnir's "True Beri'ah", "Niflheimr Fenriswolf". Despite knowing that none of their attacks would be proven effective against it, Fūka and Rinne have already decided to never give up. Since only by doing so that they could hope to whittle "Niflheimr Fenriswolf's" strength bit by bit until one of their allies could destroy it in the end. Once again, fuelled by a sincere desire to protect one another, Fūka and Rinne executed each of their respective signature magic-enhanced attack spells towards "Niflheimr Fenriswolf"; completely engulf the said Hróðvitnir's "True Beri'ah" in massive esoteric explosion in the process.
Unfortunately however, none of their magic-enhanced attack spells were strong enough to even badly injure or to be exact damage "Niflheimr Fenriswolf". Simultaneously, Fūka and Rinne's mysterious saviours that seem to not so long time ago manage to overwhelm Hróðvitnir with their relentless assaults have now been crushed almost completely by him. Using his godly attributes and strength, Hróðvitnir successfully crush those two newcomers in which previously seems to caught him off guard.
Using his broadsword together with godly attributes and strength, Hróðvitnir threw their mangled bodies into another temporal fissure of dimensional rift that he almost instantly created. After he disposed those two mysterious attackers that caught him off guard, Hróðvitnir once again turned his attention towards Fūka and Rinne. He was then raised his broadsword and aimed his Mauser C96 "Red 9" semi-automatic pistol towards both Fūka and Rinne's direction at the same time. An evil grin was also once again formed on his lip, as Hróðvitnir squeezed his Mauser C96 "Red 9" semi-automatic pistol's trigger shortly afterwards.
A loud gunfire explosion accompanied by a "clang" sound of clashing metal echoed across the entire battlefield, as another unexpected development once again took place in front of Hróðvitnir's eye. This time around, a familiar young female figure has crashed right in front of him and skilfully blocked the shot from his Mauser C96 "Red 9" semi-automatic pistol using her halberd, in which also happen to be her faithful Armed Device, "Blaue Trombe". This aforementioned familiar young female figure, in which also happen to be no other than Viktoria Dahlgrün, the esteemed descendant of Thunder Emperor Dahlgrün then swiftly threw multiple "Spear Shard", her one and only signature shooting spell towards Hróðvitnir's direction in return.
"Viktor-san!" excitedly greeted Fūka and Rinne, as Viktoria only smiled towards them before responding back at their greeting just now. "You two have done a great job on stalling him, Fūka, Rinne. Now, you can all rest assure that Sieg and I will defeat him…" calmly replied Viktoria while simultaneously reassuring Fūka and Rinne that she together with her best friend, Sieglinde Eremiah will without fail defeat Hróðvitnir. Shortly after Viktoria made a promise to defeat Hróðvitnir once and for all, Sieglinde arrived with her "Iron Wrists" fully activated and equipped. She was also then preparing her combat stance and ready to help Viktoria take Hróðvitnir down.
"Sieg-san!" greeted Fūka and Rinne, as their expression has becoming even more relaxed at the same time. "Are you two okay, Fū-nyan? Rinne?" asked Sieglinde without even diverting her attention away from Hróðvitnir. "Fū-chan and I are doing fine, Sieg-san. Although it would still almost impossible for us to defeat him alone by ourselves, unfortunately…" replied Rinne before acknowledging the fact that she and Fūka alone would most likely unable to defeat Hróðvitnir without others' help. "With both Viktor-san and you helping us, we should be able to defeat him aren't we? Sieg-san?" asked Fūka while simultaneously readying her fighting stance. It was when, instead of Sieglinde, Viktoria decided to answer Fūka's question, as she prepared to execute another signature shooting spell of hers, the 54th Style "Spear Shard" towards Hróðvitnir's direction.
"There is still no absolute guarantee for that, Fūka. However, both Sieg and I will do our best to help you defeat this opponent together…" replied Viktoria before promising Fūka that she together with Sieglinde will help her, as well as Rinne defeat Hróðvitnir. "Viktor and I will not disappoint you. So, are you two ready to fight our opponent as well, Fū-nyan? Rinne?" added Sieglinde while asking both Fūka and Rinne a follow up question afterwards. "Osu! Hai!" responded Fūka and Rinne affirmatively, as they also once again getting ready to fight Hróðvitnir. Shortly after Fūka and Rinne finished their respond, they together with Viktoria and Sieglinde decided launch their first strike towards Hróðvitnir while hoping to take him down with it.
Once again, Fūka and Rinne could feel hopeful that they were be able to defeat Hróðvitnir with Viktoria and Sieglinde's help. Despite knowing the fact that Hróðvitnir was in theory still way stronger than the four of them combined, Fūka, Rinne, Viktoria and Sieglinde could never be more certain on their current capability to finally defeat him this time around. In the end, Fūka, Rinne, Viktoria and Sieglinde have successfully done the impossible by defeating Hróðvitnir together with his "True Beri'ah", "Niflheimr Fenriswolf", as their success would also help their allies to defeat other Longinus Dreizehn Orden's Einherjar once and for all. Although, unbeknownst to everyone of them, their confrontation against Longinus Dreizehn Orden's Einherjar would forever led this third newborn world's destiny further into an uncharted territory that no one have could ever predicted.
ED Theme Song: Iris (Performed By: Aoi Eir)
"Do you think this is the right way, Tea?" asked Subaru, as she infiltrated Glaðsheimr together with her best friend, Teana. "I'm sure it is, Subaru. Since the information that our contact has provided us is surprisingly accurate…" replied Teana while reassuring Subaru over the accuracy from the information that they have received. "Still, we haven't encounter any resistance on our way to its inner sanctum. Don't you find it strange to see Glaðsheimr's interior is lightly guarded?" responded Subaru, as she asked a follow up question afterwards. Shortly after Subaru concluded her respond with another follow up question, Teana stopped for a moment and began to once again examine their current situation thoroughly.
"It certainly is very strange, Subaru. Although, it might have anything to do with Nanoha-san and others that lead multiple simultaneous assaults towards Glaðsheimr…" answered Teana while mentioning on how Longinus Dreizehn Orden is currently fighting on multiple fronts against Special Duty Section 6, ZEUTH and ESUN's forces outside Glaðsheimr as well, at the same time. "Still, they always try to overrun us with endless swarm of undead not so long ago in the past. So in theory, they should have unlimited fighting forces to fight every single fronts easily, Tea…" argued Subaru before reminding her best friend, Teana over Longinus Dreizehn Orden's actual fighting capability.
"Reality might be different from what you and I have imagine before, Subaru. Especially with ZEUTH and ESUN's forces are also involved in this assault…" calmly replied Teana while explaining her thought over this whole situation as well, shortly afterwards. "You're probably right. I also heard that Vivio and Einhalt are currently fighting endless swarms of undead soldiers out there as we talk about it…" added Subaru, as she decided to also acknowledge her best friend, Teana's explanation on what have actually been happening as well, at the same time.
In return Teana was only nodding back at Subaru while simultaneously readying her own customized version of Javelin AEC Armament. Shortly afterwards, she together with Subaru decided to continue on infiltrating Glaðsheimr that eerily quiet for some reason unknown. It was when both Teana and Subaru finally arrived at a massive highly ornate steel gate that has been completely shut. "Shall we force this steel gate open, Tea?" suggested Subaru by asking her best friend, Teana on whether they should just force their way in through the aforementioned massive steel gate in front of them. "We should wait for some of our allies first, Subaru. Since they are most likely would also be arriving soon…" calmly responded Teana while smiling towards her best friend, Subaru as well, in return.
"You're right, Tea. Although, they surely taking their time to get here…" acknowledged Subaru, as she also grinned at her best friend, Teana shortly afterwards. "Well, they might currently fight against enemies' forces as we speak Subaru. That is why, we should just patiently wait while maintain our regular contact with them…" once again replied Teana before once again performing a final check on her own custom Javelin AEC Armament. "Hopefully they are doing just fine. Since our enemies have undoubtedly been dangerous this time around…" added Subaru while mentioning over how dangerous their current enemies are simultaneously. Teana in the meantime was only quietly listening at Subaru's comment before affirmatively nodding back at her, in return. Shortly after Subaru finished her comment, she and Teana receive an important transmission from other infiltration teams via each of their faithful Intelligent Devices, Mach Caliber AX and Cross Mirage respectively.
"You've got incoming calls, Ma'am (Buddy). Shall I patch it through?"
Asked both Cross Mirage and Mach Caliber AX almost simultaneously, as Teana and Subaru told them to patch those calls through. It was almost immediately after Teana and Subaru told both Cross Mirage and Mach Caliber to patch those incoming calls through, multiple familiar voices could be heard instantly coming from them. Some in which both Teana and Subaru also recognised belong to their new friends. "Swordfish One, Swordfish Two, can you hear me? This is Rot 12, second lieutenant Ilfriede von Feulner of Rot Squadron's Third Flight. Please respond…" greeted Ilfriede before others' voices soon drown hers not long afterwards. "These enemies keep on coming to us, Subaru-san! Teana-san! Do you know any effective way to stop them?" asked another voice, in which both Subaru and Teana almost instantly recognised belong to Suguha Kirigaya or better known as "Leafa".
"Hey! Don't let your guard down, Leafa!" warned another familiar voice, in which Subaru and Teana also almost instantly recognised belong to another one of their new friends, Erika Chiba, the renowned "Phantom Sword Princess of the Chiba Clan". It was also when multiple explosions echoed in the background, as Subaru and Teana could hear Leafa responding back at Erika's warning just now. "I never let my guard down, Erika-san! It only is because our enemies are stronger and very persistent that we unable to decisively defeat them!" argued Leafa while keep on fighting her opponents non-stop. Almost immediately after listening at both Erika's warning and Leafa's argument, Subaru decided to ask them, as well as Ilfriede over the seemingly dire predicament that they face at the moment.
"What is going on over there? Are you all okay?" asked Subaru, as she has been deeply concerned over the situation that Ilfriede, Leafa and Erika currently face. "We are surviving somehow. Although, it definitely is worrying to fight such enemies by ourselves alone, ground sergeant Nakajima…" responded Erika before she personally explain the unexpected dire predicament that has been happening in front of her (them). "Actually, we are not the only one that currently face such predicament, Swordfish One. Other infiltration teams are also encounter the same problem as we speak…" added Ilfriede while using her third generation Tactical Surface Fighter, EF-2000 Typhoon's Mk.57 Squad Support Gun to snipe tens to hundreds undead enemies down with it. "R-really? That actually sounds quite bad…" responded Subaru, as she turned her attention towards the concerned Teana at the same time.
"Do you think that help will soon be arriving?" asked Teana while trying to sound as calm as she could possibly done. "I doubt that would be the case, Teana-san. Since Oniichan and Asuna-san are currently busy helping others fight this endless swarm of undead soldiers, unfortunately…" answered Leafa before lamenting over the fact that others were currently preoccupied in each of their own battles. "Still, we are manage to stale our enemies' advance for the time being, Swordfish Two. At least for now…" once again added Ilfriede, as she tried to reassure Teana (and Subaru) that everything was still manageable for now. It was when another explosion was heard violently rocked from Subaru and Teana's respective faithful Intelligent Devices accompanied with unexpected good news from Erika as well, at the same time.
"Help is finally here! So, things are definitely going to be fine…" declared Erika, as she truly feel relieved because of that. "Eh? Did someone finally here to help us?" asked Leafa while reconfirming Erika's declaration just now. "Yup, reinforcements are just arriving to help us and…" replied Erika before everything suddenly went silent. "Hey! What's going on? Erika? Ilfriede? Suguha?" asked Subaru when realising that their communication has been abruptly cut off. "Something isn't right here, Subaru. Don't let your guard down!" warned Teana while readying her Javelin AEC Armament as well, simultaneously. "Eh? Mach Caliber hasn't warned me about it. Do you think that our enemies might wait to ambush us, Tea?" asked Subaru, as she clenched both of her fists shortly afterwards. Teana in return was only quietly nodding back before once again decided to scan her surrounding area with Cross Mirage's help.
"We have a company, Ma'am…"
Almost immediately after they listened at Cross Mirage's warning, both Subaru and Teana saw a lone Longinus Dreizehn Orden's Einherjar steadily approaching them. Teana, in which previously has been interviewing Kei Sakurai and Beatrice Waltrud von Kirscheisen could instantly identify the said lone Longinus Dreizehn Orden's Einherjar as Machina, in which also formerly known by the name Michael Wittmann or Göetz von Berlichingen. On the other hand, it took Subaru a moment or two to identify Einherjar Machina's identity, as she quickly readied her combat stance when finally manage to do so. Right after Subaru readying her combat stance, Teana decided to prepare her ultimate (guided) shooting spell, "Cross Fire Full Burst" while hoping that she could take Einherjar Machina down with it.
Their opponent, Longinus Dreizehn Orden's Einherjar, Machina was in the meantime still steadily approaching them. The fact that both Subaru and Teana have been fully prepared to execute their attacks seem trouble him not. Einherjar Machina wasn't even raising his fist, as he only approached Subaru and Teana while staring at them indifferently. This fact alone has made Subaru in particular felt nervous, as she briefly turned her attention towards Teana and asked her a question. "D-do you think that we could still have a chance to defeat him, Tea?" asked Subaru with slightly stuttered and nervous voice. "I believe so, Subaru. Although, it might still is a tough battle if we wish to defeat him…" replied Teana while still staring at Einherjar Machina with serious expression shown all over her face.
Subaru was about to respond at Teana's reply, as their opponent, Einherjar Machina stopped for all the sudden. It was also when a loud dragon's roar was heard echoing across the entire surrounding area, as Subaru and Teana saw a familiar gigantic silver dragon descended from above. "Is that Amayori?" asked Subaru, as she tried to reconfirm the said gigantic silver dragon's identity in which currently descending towards Einherjar Machina's position in high speed. "Yes, that is indeed Amayori, Subaru. So, it seems that Alice is also here to help us…" answered Teana while reconfirming the said gigantic silver dragon together its rider or master's identities. Amayori's master, in which Teana almost instantly identify as Integrity Knight, Alice "Zuberg" Synthesis Thirty was seen staring intently at Einherjar Machina's direction before unsheathing her Divine Construct-class armament, a beautiful ornate one-handed long sword known as "Osmanthus Blade".
"System Call…"
"Enhance Armament!"
"Release Recollection!"
Right after Alice Synthesis Thirty drew her Divine Construct-class armament, "Osmanthus Blade", Amayori once again let a loud dragon's roar out and initiating her assault towards Einherjar Machina. Almost instantly, a sea of blue flame began to engulf Einherjar Machina, as Amayori relentlessly assaulted him using her fire breath. In the meantime, both Subaru and Teana were left speechless when witnessing superhuman strength in which Alice Synthesis Thirty has been displayed in front of them. They very well knew that Integrity Knights posses such superhuman strength comparable to Holy Grail War's "Servant", as each one of them have once successfully protect their own newborn world, "Al-Warth" from its supposedly ultimate destruction.
Together with their newfound likeminded allies, Integrity Knights have shown Subaru and Teana the true strength in which "Al-Warth's" guardians always possess in their hearts. Through Alice's arrival and action, they have once again been reminded of their strength, as well as resolve to safeguard these infinite multiverses. Because of that, Subaru and Teana decided to also fight Einherjar Machina, as together with Alice Synthesis Thirty, they should be able to defeat him once and for all. It was when the three of them fought Einherjar Machina and managed to defeat him after a lengthy gruelling battle.
Sadly however, their fight still far from over, as Subaru, Teana and Alice would soon come face to face with another powerful opponent right after they successfully defeat Einherjar Machina. It was when another battle that would determine this third newborn world's fate ensued, as no one could ever predict its outcome this time around. Especially when their opponent was happen to be no other than the creator of "Wewelsburg Longinus", the very first generation of "Tubal Cain", as well as great grandfather for both Kei and Kai Sakurai, Musashi Sakurai.
