Hello everyone. Here is the first chapter of Super Rio: Apocalypse. I'm sorry that it took so long for me to start writing this story again. This time, the storyline is like my original version of this story, except, I'm doing it differently. I hope that you like it. :)
The sky was dark and cloudy with rain falling from the sky as a male Scarlet Macaw, who had feathers come in different shades. The ones on his back, feathers and head are dark red, and the ones on his front are paler red, and he has facial markings. He has short crest of flattened feathers on the top of his head, while his eyes are pale green and he had an evil smile on his face as he looked up at the sky before looking downwards over the city of Rio.
The male Scarlet Macaw is standing on top of the famous Christ the redeemer statue, where he is looking down on the citizens. He can see all of them, the humans as well as the birds who are living in harmony with each other as they did their activities. He is full of nothing, but, absolute contempt towards them, especially when he quickly thought of the one bird who has recently caused trouble for him after an particular battle in one very familiar place.
"So, Blu, you really think that you won?" said the male Scarlet Macaw as he continued to smile evilly. "Think again, I will get my wings on those Phoenix balls".
The male Scarlet Macaw has clearly heard all about the legendary Phoenix balls, he has even of the battle in the Amazon jungle. That battle was big, it was between both Blu and the evil male white Cockatoo called Nigel with Blu coming out victorious. It was a battle so huge that it shook the whole world itself, which is exactly what had allowed the male Scarlet Macaw to become aware of what was happening all those miles away in the Amazon rainforest.
He has also acknowledged just how powerful Blu himself has become recently, this knowledge resulting in him smiling in delight. He knows very well, that he truly has found a worthy opponent and that their destined battle would be the stuff of legends. He is looking forward to fighting Blu when the time comes, although he intends to wait out in the hope of making sure that this wasn't an temporary growth in Blu's strength and that it's actually permanent.
"Well done, Blu, you passed the first test" said the male Scarlet Macaw as his evil smile grew in size. "I hope you're well rested, your second test starts now".
After spending just a few number of minutes on the Christ redeemer statue, the male Scarlet Macaw flew to an old warehouse. The place is in disarray although it didn't mind the male Scarlet Macaw too much as he actually rather likes it's appearance. He can see something of himself in the worn-out building, an old fighter who needs to become an improved version in order to keep up with the much younger and faster generation that has taken his place.
When he had finally arrived inside his old worn and torn warehouse base, he landed on the ground to see all of his henchmen. They are busy doing activities, although they all stopped what they were doing in order to see that their boss has come back. They quickly bowed on their knees before him out of fear, while the male Scarlet Macaw marched past them in order to get to a wooden throne on the far side of the base while his lieutenant arrived in time.
"Armando, sir, I got important news" said a male Green Macaw as he flew over to Armando. "You should hear, this report, sir".
"Very well, I've got the time, right now" said Armando as he sat himself on a wooden throne. "What is the news, Salazar".
"It's our spies, they've gone missing" said Salazar which got everyone's attention. "I believe, that Nightfly has something to do with it".
The mere mention of the name infuriated Armando to his own very core, his wings clenched tightly as he tried to maintain calm. It is a absolute struggle too, due to the fact it appears that his ancient enemy just wouldn't stop foiling all of his evil plans. When he has finally managed to keep calm from his anger, Armando soon smiled as he also knew that he finally now has the opportunity to cause more chaos because of his foe's persistence in stopping him.
He has managed to force his archenemy to take action to protect lives, which also gives Armando time to pick a brand new target. He has one in mind already, because of the fact it is a place that means a lot to his foe and striking it would be terrifying. He has been waiting a long time to get this big opportunity, so he decides to strike there in hope of terrifying the innocent population in order to focus, for the time being, on his new inexperienced opponent.
"Salazar, tell the men to prepare for battle" said Armando as he gave an evil chuckle. "For we are going to attack the Amazon rainforest".
"That way, we can get the upper hand early" said Salazar as he smiled at the plan. "That's a genius plan, sir, absolute genius".
"Thank you, Salazar, that will be all" said Armando as he began to chuckle evilly again. "Besides, Blu and his friends will have no idea what hit them".
When the order has been given the go-ahead from their intimidating boss, the henchmen quickly follow the order without hesitation. The sight of them flying, caused the male Scarlet Macaw to smile as he knows what is going to happen to the innocents. He knows of the pain and sadness that is going to come, he imagines the screams of families as well as the cries of the innocent birds who would actually dare hope, for even one minute, for a better future.
The thought made Armando chuckle with delight as he looked forward to it, knowing he is going to enjoy every bit of the experience. He remained sat down, especially due to the fact he needed some more time to think about how to conquer Blu himself. He knows Blu has the potential to become more powerful, so it was important to put his enemy in a position where he will have to work much harder in order to find any new strength for his coming battles.
