Episode 41

~ Guidepost to Tomorrow (Part VI/ Final) ~

Sonnenkind

"Shall we force our way into the inner sanctum of Glaðsheimr's core, first lieutenant Ave?" politely enquired second lieutenant Arrière Ogre, as her prized prototype humanoid mobile weapon, Flickerei Geist was seen ready to launch its two full container of split missiles. Arrière's companion, Ave in which currently pilots his prized quasi-fifth generation of GN Drive-powered Gundam, Exia Flügel calmly shook his head before replying back at her enquiry just now. "We probably should find another quieter way to enter its inner sanctum, Arrière. Since we don't want to attract any of our enemies' attention after all…" replied Ave calmly while at the same time dual-wielding his or to be exact Exia Flügel's GN Bayonets. Arrière in return was only affirmatively nodding back and agree to follow Ave's suggestion instead.

This time around, Arrière decided to move Flickerei Geist closer towards an imposing massive gate in front of her. She was then raising Flickerei Geist's right arm slightly in order to get its Revolving Stake ready. "Would this method would be preferable, first lieutenant Ave? Based on my calculation, it should create far less noise that alert any of our enemies…" once again enquired Arrière while suggesting that they could force their way into the inner sanctum of Glaðsheimr's core with far less noise. "We could probably do that, Arrière. Although some of our enemies might still somehow be alerted by it…" answered Ave, as he seems to agree with Arrière's suggestion this time around. It was almost immediately after Ave concluded his answer, Arrière drove her or to be exact Flickerei Geist's Revolving Stake towards the said imposing massive gate in front of them and began to also destroy it as well, in the process.

Ave meanwhile decided to help Arrière by slicing the said imposing massive gate's remains with Exia Flügel's GN Bayonets. His, as well as Arrière's methods were definitely quieter, as other than several exploding rounds from Flickerei Geist's Revolving Stake and crashing remains of the once tall and imposing massive gate in front of them, no other noises were heard echoing across Glaðsheimr's core. "Shall we enter now?" casually asked Ave while smiling towards Arrière as well, at the same time. "Affirmative, first lieutenant Ave…" calmly answered Arrière before she decided to follow Ave's Exia Flügel with her own prized prototype humanoid mobile weapon, Flickerei Geist.

Shortly after breaking through the said imposing massive gate that separates them from the inner sanctum of Glaðsheimr's core, Ave and Arrière finally arrive in their destination. The very first thing that both Ave and Arrière noticed almost immediately was clear, gelatinous resin-like structure and numerous tendrils that almost completely cover its entire surface. According to Arrière, such appearance has reminded her to BETA Hives that she once infiltrated in both Unlimited and Alternative Worlds. Ave, in which has also been infiltrating several BETA Hives together with Fuji Tactical Fighter Training Group's 11th Squadron Skuld and 12th Squadron Urd immediately agree with Arrière's assessment just now.

Unlike any of those BETA Hives however, this entire inner sanctum of Glaðsheimr's core was devoid of any enemies' presence. The one other thing that Ave and Arrière also noticed was a massive pillar-like structure that has been erected in the middle of it, as they scanned through the entire inner sanctum of Glaðsheimr's core. From the said massive pillar-like structure, a faint life signature has been detected, as Ave and Arrière cautiously approached it using their respective giant humanoid combat units. Almost immediately after they arrived right in front of the aforementioned massive pillar-like structure, Ave and Arrière saw a slender figure of naked young white haired girl that has been completely bound on its surface.

This aforementioned naked young girl with beautiful shoulder-length white hair were having both of her hands together with the lower half of her body completely covered in muted green and grey alien tendrils in which seem to sprout from the said pilar-like structure itself. These muted green and grey-coloured gelatinous resin-like alien tendrils has also been slowly drain the said young and naked girl's life force, as she was already fell completely unconscious because of that. Realising that this naked young girl's life has currently been in danger, Arrière decided to grab and pull her away from those muted green and grey-coloured gelatinous resin-like alien tendrils using Flickerei Geist's right hand. Unfortunately, those muted green and grey-coloured gelatinous resin-like alien tendrils have completely latched on this aforementioned naked young girl's hands and lower half of her body, as Arrière unable to forcefully pull her free from it.

"It almost is impossible for me to free her, first lieutenant Ave. Since any attempt to do so would instead severely injure her in the process…" informed Arrière, as she also feel disappointed by that. "There must be a way to free her, Arrière. We just need to keep on looking for it…" responded Ave while simultaneously encouraging Arrière to never give up. "H-hai! I will try my best!" affirmatively replied Arrière before she once again decided to scan the entire massive pillar-like structure together with its gelatinous resin-like alien tendrils and a young naked girl bound by them using Flickerei Geist's sensor.

"These tendrils have completely attached on her hands, as well as lower half of her body. That is also why I could no longer manually pull her free just by using Flickerei Geist's hand, first lieutenant Ave…" explained Arrière, as she decided to also let a small sigh out shortly afterwards. "I wonder if cutting them with Exia Flügel's GN Bayonets would be a good idea, Arrière…" responded Ave before suggesting that he might be able to cut these gelatinous resin-like alien tendrils with Exia Flügel's GN Bayonets. Arrière in return quickly shook her head, as she found Ave's suggestion to be somewhat risky. She also then explained her reasoning while replying back at Ave's respond just now.

"It certainly is a bad idea, first lieutenant Ave. Since these tendrils might directly connected to this girl's body and nerves, you could accidentally injure or even kill her instead…" warned Arrière while explaining the reason why she completely against Ave's idea to cut these gelatinous resin-like alien tendrils with Exia Flügel's GN Bayonets. "R-really? If that has been the case, we should find another method to free her then…" once again responded Ave, as he decided to refrain himself from slicing those aforementioned gelatinous resin-like alien tendrils with Exia Flügel's GN Bayonets. Shortly after responding back at Arrière's warning, Ave once again decided to scan this entire inner sanctum using Exia Flügel's advanced sensor. Since by doing so, he was hoping to find any possible clue to free this aforementioned young naked girl from her bondage.

Suddenly both Exia Flügel and Flickerei Geist's sensors pick an unexpected energy signature that has emerged out of nowhere. This aforementioned energy signature was somehow similar with the one that other Longinus Dreizehn Orden's Einherjar have been possessing. Almost immediately, Ave and Arrière were alerted by this energy signature in which suddenly appeared in front of them. "Don't let your guard down, Arrière! Since this enemy is as equally dangerous as any other Longinus Dreizehn Orden's Einherjar or even more so…" warned Ave before switching Exia Flügel's GN Bayonets from their "Sword Mode" to "Rifle Mode". "H-hai, first lieutenant Ave!" affirmatively responded Arrière while simultaneously aiming Flickerei Geist's 3-barrel machine cannon in which mounted on its left arm towards the said energy signature's current position.

"Ah, I never expect any uninvited guests to enter this very sacred inner sanctum before. Surely you two are aware of any consequences from doing so, right?" playfully greeted an individual that began to materialize from the said energy signature itself. This individual in which appeared to be an enigmatic young teenage boy with long beautiful golden-coloured hair was floating in front of Ave's Exia Flügel and Arrière's Flickerei Geist while innocently smiling at them. Nevertheless, both Ave and Arrière could still somehow notice a strong malice came from this enigmatic young teenage boy in front of them, as he raised both of his arms toward them. It was when hundreds of gelatinous resin-like alien tendrils began to suddenly sprout from the wall behind this enigmatic young teenage boy before slowly cover his entire slender and naked figure afterwards.

"Who are you?" calmly demanded Ave, as Arrière noticed the cold and flat tone on his voice. "First lieutenant Ave is undoubtedly designating this young boy as an extremely dangerous threat. I probably should also be doing the same as well…" muttered Arrière down under her breath before she decided to remain silent and observe the said unfolding situation for a time being. From her quick yet careful observation, Arrière manage to somehow guess this aforementioned enigmatic young teenage boy's age, in which almost identical to the mysterious young girl that she and Ave tried to rescue just now. "His age is probably between sixteenth to eighteenth years old, similar to that mysterious white haired girl over there…" once again muttered Arrière down under her breath, as she decided to continue on with her observation.

Ave in the meantime was only quietly waiting for this enigmatic young teenage boy's respond while aiming Exia Flügel's GN Bayonets' "Rifle Mode" towards him at the same time. Thankfully, not long after he demanded this enigmatic naked young teenage boy's identity, Ave finally got his answer. "Eh? I thought you should already know my name by now, Oniichan. I'm Sonnenkind and the one over there is also Sonnenkind as well…" playfully responded the said enigmatic young teenage boy in front of Ave and Arrière before introducing himself as "Sonnenkind". Simultaneously this enigmatic young teenage boy, "Sonnenkind" was also referring the mysterious white haired girl as another Sonnenkind for some unknown reason.

"Child of the Sun? Isn't it one of the many titles that the evil Third Reich gave to themselves during the Second Great War back in the old world of yours, as well as countless different parallel worlds out there, first lieutenant Ave?" asked Arrière through Flickerei Geist's secure two-ways communication line. "I believe so, Arrière. Although he probably referring his true name and status as Glaðsheimr's sacrifice instead of self-proclaimed title that the Third Reich use for themselves…" calmly answered Ave, as he decided to instead ask this aforementioned enigmatic young teenage boy, "Sonnenkind" another follow-up question.

"Why are you also referring her as Sonnenkind? Is she also happens to be Glaðsheimr's sacrifice, as much as you?" once again asked Ave with his cold and flat voice tone. "A, ha, ha, ha! You surely are knowledgeable, Oniichan. Yes, she currently is Glaðsheimr's sacrifice, as the Divine Vessel of God himself hath personally chose her…" playfully responded "Sonnenkind" while referring the said mysterious white haired girl, the other Sonnenkind as the current Glaðsheimr's sacrifice. He also mentioned on how the Divine Vessel of God has made her one to replace him. It was also almost immediately after he finished his playful respond towards Ave's question that this enigmatic young teenage boy, "Sonnenkind" turned his attention towards the other direction and smiled when doing so.

"Another uninvited guests seem manage to sneak into this inner sanctum. I should give them my warmest welcome as well…" casually remarked the said enigmatic young teenage boy, "Sonnenkind" while smiling. Not long after he finished his casual remark, a loud crash was heard echoing across the entire inner sanctum of Glaðsheimr's Core, as a majestic super robot in which Ave and Arrière has been familiar with landed right in front of their respective combat machines, Exia Flügel and Flickerei Geist. This majestic super robot has reminded Ave of sentient Brave-type super robots such as Katori Yūtarō or Fighbird and Deckerd, model BP-110 that have been helping Time-Space Administrative Bureau and ESUN to safeguard these newborn eternal realities' future.

Despite almost identical to these aforementioned Brave-type super robots, the aforementioned majestic super robot, in which Ave and Arrière quickly identify as G Compatible Kaiser was still fundamentally different from any of its sentient counterparts. Since unlike the sentient like Fighbird or Deckerd, model BP-110, G Compatible Kaiser was unable to operate moreover fight on its own. From everything that Ave could personally remember, a certain high school student, Kōta Azuma together with his younger sister, Shōko Azuma were happen to be G Compatible Kaiser's chosen pilots. At the same time, they were also well famously known as a pair of metal hero and heroine that protect United States of Japan, as well as Academy City in the past. According to Arrière, their metal hero and heroine's personas, Fighter Roar and Fighter Emi have also been as equally famous as the said majestic super robot, G Compatible Kaiser itself.

Almost immediately after arriving at the inner sanctum of Glaðsheimr's core, G Compatible Kaiser turned its head from the enigmatic young teenage boy, "Sonnenkind" to the mysterious white haired girl, "Sonnenkind". Meanwhile, Ave and Arrière decided to keep their guard up while staring at the recently arrived G Compatible Kaiser and both "Sonnenkind" as well, simultaneously. It was when Shōko's echoing voice was heard coming from G Compatible Kaiser, as she decided to ask her older brother, Kōta a question. "Hey, Oniichan! Isn't that Theresia-senpai over there?" asked Shōko or Fighter Emi while referring the said white haired girl in which currently unconscious and bound on the massive pillar-like structure in front of her (them) as Theresia. Kōta or Fighter Roar in the meantime decided to take a closer look at the said white haired girl in front of him (them) before replying back at Shōko's question just now.

"You're right! That's Rea-chan! Why is she here, naked and bound on that tentacle-infested column over there?" answered Kōta, as he was also surprised to see this white haired girl, Theresia (Rea) after all. It was also when Ave decided to contact both Kōta and Shōko Azuma using Exia Flügel's secured communication channel. "G Compatible Kaiser's pilots, do you copy? This is first lieutenant Ave J.C. Takamachi of Time-Space Administrative Bureau's Special Duty Section 6. Please respond…" greeted Ave, as almost immediately Kōta and Shōko's faces popped out from a pair of small screens in which located on the top right hand corner of Exia Flügel and Flickerei Geist's main monitors. Both Kōta and Shōko were seen having Fighter Roar and Fighter Emi armour suits equipped, albeit without any of their respective helmets.

"First lieutenant Ave! Second lieutenant Arrière! Please help us save Theresia-senpai!" pleaded Shōko in her quick respond towards Ave's greeting just now. "Theresia…senpai? Is that the white haired girl's real name, miss Shōko?" politely enquired Arrière, as she already made up her mind to help Shōko rescue the said white haired girl, Theresia (Rea) at the same time. "H-hai! Six months ago, she disappeared and we have been searching for her ever since! W-we need to rescue her!" answered Shōko while reaffirming the mysterious white haired girl's identity to be no other than her beloved Theresia-senpai. "We will help you rescue her, Emi. Although, we also need you and Roar to help us with that…" promised Ave, as he turn his attention back to the male "Sonnenkind" in which just letting a small sigh out before responding back at Ave, Arrière and Shōko.

"It won't be easy for you all to achieve that. Since at the moment, Sonnenkind is also an integral part of this shackled golden capital itself…" calmly responded the male "Sonnenkind" while explaining the supposed impossibility for Ave and others to rescue his female counterpart, the other "Sonnenkind" herself. Almost immediately after the male "Sonnenkind" concluded his respond, Kōta lost his temper and letting out a roaring fiery reply at him. Simultaneously, he was also aiming G Compatible Kaiser's Shoulder Cannon at the said male "Sonnenkind". "Bastard! You'll pay for this!" shouted Kōta with his fiery and roaring voice. Meanwhile, Shōko decided to calm her Kōta down, as she knew very well on how reckless her aforementioned older brother could be when he was angry.

"Calm down, Oniichan! We shouldn't let him provoke us!" scolded Shōko, as she was also upset with this cruel reality that has been unveiled right in front of (her) them. "Emi is right, Roar. Don't let such anger to cloud your judgement. Since only by doing so that we could successfully accomplish our objective by rescuing her…" added Ave, as he was also wondering on what this aforementioned male "Sonnenkind" has been secretly plotting. It was when the said male "Sonnenkind" decided to respond at Kōta's fiery reply, as well as Ave's remark while explaining his own stance over this matter.

"While it won't be easy for you all to achieve your objective, I never say it would be impossible to do so. Especially with a displaced and mixed one currently among your ranks…" replied the male "Sonnenkind", as his tone seemingly shifted from being antagonistic to slightly more supportive instead. "What do you mean by a displaced and mixed one?" asked Arrière this time around, as she was wondering on what or whom this male "Sonnenkind" has actually been referring to just now.

"You should realise the answer of that question yourself, Subject Zero. Although I am not referring you this time around…" calmly replied the said male "Sonnenkind", as he decided to refer Arrière Ogre with her designated Idealants Project's serial number or codename, "Subject Zero". Arrière in the meantime was only remain quiet, as she never actually feel offended when this male "Sonnenkind" decided to refer her as "Subject Zero" instead of her name. On the other hand, Kōta and Shōko were taken back as well as clearly upset when they heard that. "T-that's cruel…" muttered Shōko, as she decided to activate G Compatible Kaiser's fourth weapon system for her older brother Kōta to use. It was when Kōta swiftly activated G Compatible Kaiser's fourth weapon system, Kaiser Boomerang before shouting at the said male "Sonnenkind" in front of (him) them.

"You won't get away for insulting our friend!" shouted Kōta while preparing to throw G Compatible Kaiser's fourth weapon system, Kaiser Boomerang towards the said male "Sonnenkind" in front of (him) them. It was when Ave decided to interfere and dissuade Kōta from throwing G Compatible Kaiser's Kaiser Boomerang at the said male "Sonnenkind". "Don't let your anger cloud your judgement, Roar. Since I don't think he deliberately tried to offend Arrière just now…" reminded Ave, as he thankfully manage to dissuade Kōta from attacking the said male "Sonnenkind" first. It was also when Arrière herself decided to respond back at the reply that the said male "Sonnenkind" gave her not so long ago.

"Both Subject Zero and Arrière Ogre are my precious name. That is why I don't mind if you decide to refer me with either one of them…" calmly responded Arrière as her words has even been more successful to somehow dissuade Kōta from attacking the said male "Sonnenkind" after all. "Arrière-san…" once again muttered Shōko before she decided to also ask the aforementioned male "Sonnenkind" another question. "What is your objective? You seem tried to offend Arrière-san just now. Yet, Ave-san just said that you are never actually wish to offend her…" demanded Shōko while using her question to find out more about why this male "Sonnenkind" seems trying to offend Arrière before. Instead answering Shōko's question, this male "Sonnenkind" decided to warn her about an impending danger that would soon befell upon (her) them.

"Glaðsheimr is only a chosen stage for this dawning twilight, as no one would expect the displaced and mixed one to be involved. Yet, it might also be the very thing that we need to ensure our salvation in the end. Be very careful, as Mercurius will not be happy about that…" warned the said male "Sonnenkind", as his expression has suddenly became more serious afterwards. Shōko was about to respond back at the warning that the said male "Sonnenkind" has given her just now when blinding white light suddenly envelop the entire inner sanctum of Glaðsheimr's core. "What the hell?" cursed Kōta, as he saw multiple warnings flashed on G Compatible Kaiser's console in front of him and Shōko. "Should we do something about it, first lieutenant Ave?" asked Arrière, as she was ready to strike the said male "Sonnenkind" down with Flickerei Geist's 3-barrel machine cannon.

"I believe that we should wait first, Arrière. Although in the meantime, don't let your guard down…" replied Ave while simultaneously reminding Arrière to always remain vigilant at the same time. Slowly, as the said blinding white light began to dissipate, Ave, Arrière, Kōta and Shōko Azuma found themselves in the middle of vast throne room. "Where are we, Oniichan? Where is Theresia-senpai?" asked Shōko, as she has been confused with this entire unexpected development that took place right in front of her eyes. "Not only Rea-chan but that bratty Sonnenkind is also disappeared, Shōko! Something is definitely not right here!" responded Kōta while still having both G Compatible Kaiser's Shoulder Cannon and Kaiser Boomerang ready simultaneously.

"Indeed, something is definitely not right here, Roar. Since the one that currently sits on the throne might happen to be the big bad Mercurius himself…" added Ave, as he acknowledged Kōta's respond and statement just now. Almost immediately, Kōta, Shōko and Arrière directed their attention at the aforementioned individual in which currently sitting on top of Glaðsheimr's throne while sipping from a golden chalice filled with red wine. "Is he smiling at us?" asked Shōko, as she noticed that this enigmatic individual, in which currently sit on top of Glaðsheimr's throne was smiling at (her) them. Shortly after she concluded her enquiry, this aforementioned enigmatic individual decided to stood up from his seat and slowly approach Ave, Arrière, Kōta and Shōko.

"So, you four are the lucky or perhaps unlucky one that manage to reach Sonnenkind. I'm impressed…" said the enigmatic individual that currently still approached Ave, Arrière, Kōta and Shōko. At the same time, he was also seemingly unfazed by the very presence of their respective giant humanoid combat units, Exia Flügel, Flickerei Geist and G Compatible Kaiser. "I take that as a compliment. Although, we are not here because we actually want to be here…" sarcastically responded Ave back before switching his Exia Flügel's GN Bayonets from their "Rifle Mode" to "Sword Mode" afterwards. This enigmatic individual in the meantime was only smiling after he listened at Ave's sarcastic respond just now. He then decided to reply back at Ave's respond while taking another sip from his golden chalice, at the same time.

"Oh, I just try to extend my warm welcome towards you all. Especially when our interest seem to align after all…" calmly replied this enigmatic individual, as he was also mentioning about his own personal interest that seem to align with Ave, Arrière, Kōta and Shōko's own interests. His claim over it has instead made Ave, Arrière, Kōta and Shōko confused. Since according to the male "Sonnenkind" that they have just met not so long ago, this enigmatic individual has most likely been the mastermind behind Longinus Dreizehn Orden's action after all. It was also shortly after this enigmatic individual concluded his claim, Arrière decided to ask him a question that would most likely confirm his true identity as well.

"Mercurius, are you also happen to be Stargazer of The End, Karl Ernst Krafft aren't you?" enquired Arrière, as her question has surprised not only the said enigmatic individual in front of her but also Ave, Kōta and Shōko. The aforementioned enigmatic individual however was only smiling before politely answer Arrière's enquiry just now. "Mercurius indeed I am. At the same time however, I let your creative mind and imagination find out on whether the Stargazer of The End is me or not…" politely answered the enigmatic individual, in which also politely introducing himself as the equally enigmatic Mercurius afterwards. It was around the same time when the enigmatic individual, Mercurius concluded his answer, Shōko decided to ask Arrière on what made her speculate on Mercurius' other persona happens to be this elusive Stargazer of The End, Karl Ernst Krafft.

"What made you think that he is also Stargazer of The End, Arrière-san?" curiously asked Shōko while keeping a close attention at Mercurius as well, at the same time. "Flickerei has told me that Mercurius and Stargazer of The End, Karl Ernst Krafft is indeed the same person. For that reason alone, I've decided to confront him about the issue, miss Shōko…" explained Arrière, as she answered Shōko's question. "I don't think Flickerei would wrong about that, Arrière. Especially when Roar has also just warn me about him…" added Kōta before he decided to inform Arrière, as well as Shōko and Ave about the telepathic warning that Warrior Roar's spirit has given him just now.

"So, the likelihood of this Mercurius individual happens to be the elusive Stargazer of The End is extremely likely. Am I correct, Arrière? Emi? Roar?" enquired Ave, as he personally was more than ready to strike this enigmatic individual, Mercurius down using Exia Flügel's GN Bayonets in their "Sword Mode" configuration. "Affirmative, first lieutenant Ave…" answered Arrière before noticing that Mercurius has turned his attention towards Ave's Exia Flügel by that time. "I also agree with Arrière-san! Since he is dangerous and we should try to defeat him regardless!" added Shōko, as she and her older brother, Kōta decided to remind Ave on how this enigmatic individual, Mercurius was still happen to be a dangerous opponent for them regardless. As if Arrière's answer and Shōko's warning has prompted Mercurius to act, he decided to release massive torrents of immeasurable magical energy towards them.

"What the hell! Is he once even human to begin with?" asked Kōta in disbelief, as Mercurius could even slightly threw G Compatible Kaiser's balance off only with his massive torrent of magical energy alone. Ave and Arrière on the other hand were way more prepared for that, as they manage to swiftly dodge the aforementioned massive torrent of magical energy in which Mercurius suddenly released just now. "Oniichan! We need to do something about him!" suggested Shōko while shouting at her older brother, Kōta at the same time. "Dammit! He certainly manage to caught us off guard!" cursed Kōta, as he decided to counterattack with G Compatible Kaiser's Shoulder Cannon. Shortly after counterattacking with its Shoulder Cannon, G Compatible Kaiser threw its Kaiser Boomerang towards the said enigmatic Mercurius that seems to have made no attempt to dodge or even block it.

"Take this! Shoulder Cannon! Fire!"

"Kaiser Boomerang! Go!"

Instead completely incinerate Mercurius and thorn his charred remains into smaller pieces, both G Compatible Kaiser's Shoulder Cannon and Kaiser Boomerang were proven to be ineffective against him. Mercurius manage to almost effortlessly deflecting the said Shoulder Cannon's destructive raw Over Gate energy and Kaiser Boomerang using an unseen barrier that he has summoned beforehand. "What should we do, Oniichan? None of our attacks are working against him!" asked Shōko with slightly panicked voice when realising that both G Compatible Kaiser's Shoulder Cannon and Kaiser Boomerang were proven ineffective against Mercurius. "We try different weapons later, Shōko! For now, let Executive Officer Takamachi and second lieutenant Arrière take care of him, as their attacks might instead proven to be effective…" replied Kōta before suggesting that he and Shōko to temporarily let Ave together with Arrière fight this enigmatic Mercurius for the time being.

Thankfully, both Ave and Arrière were agree with Kōta's suggestion, as they decided to circle around Mercurius in their respective combat units, Exia Flügel and Flickerei Geist. Shortly after they circle around Mercurius in their respective combat units, Exia Flügel and Flickerei Geist, both Ave and Arrière began to simultaneously assault him with a combination of flawless combat manoeuvre. Together, Ave and Arrière execute each one of their attacks in perfect unison towards the enigmatic Mercurius in which has recently been completely vanished into a golem like giant armoured knight known as "False Sin Knight" or "False Incorruptus", Ortheim-Samiel. At the same time, this "False Incorruptus", Ortheim-Samiel in which slightly taller and heavier than Exia Flügel and Flickerei Geist was armed with a pair of large cold steel shotel and more than ready to fight back.

Because of that, unlike the nimble Exia Flügel and Flickerei Geist, this "False Incorruptus", Ortheim-Samiel was sluggish due to its height and massive body mass. Despite being sluggish however, this "False Incorruptus", Ortheim-Samiel was surrounded by almost impenetrable magic barrier, in which Mercurius has been personally cast upon it. Ave's Exia Flügel together with Arrière's Flickerei Geist on the other hand were faster, nimbler and more manoeuvrable than Mercurius' "False Incorruptus", Ortheim-Samiel. They were able to easily dodge any of Ortheim-Samiel's attacks while outmanoeuvre it. Nevertheless, none of their attacks have been working against its seemingly impenetrable magic barrier so far. That was why, Ave and Arrière decided to execute the recently revised ultimate combination attack of theirs, in which also officially known as "Code E.D.N. ReVision Mode".

Using combat data from first lieutenant Kyosuke Nanbu and second lieutenant Excellen Browning's ultimate combination attack, "Rampage Ghost", Ave and Arrière successfully conceived this ultimate manoeuvre with help from Time-Space Administrative Bureau's Technical Division 4. Initially, the original "Code E.D.N. Mode" program was installed in both Ave's second generation GN Drive-powered Gundam unit, Astraea Type-A High Manoeuvre Test Pack and Arrière's Flickerei Geist during the Sealing War, in which took place shortly after Frozen Teardrop Incident has been concluded. Ave and Arrière were then use this ultimate manoeuvre in multiple occasions, as their combat data has later on been use to perfect it.

The second revised "Code E.D.N. Mode" program was then installed on Ave's upgraded quasi-third generation of GN Drive-powered Gundam unit, Avalanche Astraea Type-A/F2 and quasi-fourth generation of GN Drive-powered Gundam unit, Exia Repair/ Revision III or Exia R3, as he and Arrière began to utilize it in many of their future missions together. In the end, thanks to the combined effort from Celestial Being's Ptolemaios Team in which also kind enough to donate their own original Gundam Exia Repair II/ III for further data gathering, as well as Caledfwlch Techniques that tirelessly study and revise "Code E.D.N. Mode" program based on hundreds of combat manoeuvres it has recorded, they could finally perfect this "Code E.D.N. Mode" program while upgrading one of its variant, the "T.B.S. Mode" combat manoeuvre program simultaneously.

It was when the perfected "Code E.D.N. ReVision Mode" combat manoeuvre program has finally ready and installed into Exia Flügel, as well as Flickerei Geist's recently upgraded Operating System (O.S.). This "Code E.D.N. ReVision Mode" was the exact same combat manoeuvre program that both Ave and Arrière would execute in order to at the very least crush Ortheim-Samiel's magic barrier, in which Mercurius has been erected around it. Together with Arrière, Ave began to swiftly activate the aforementioned "Code E.D.N. ReVision Mode" combat manoeuvre program and execute (his) their ultimate combination attack.

"Eternally Darning Nails ReVision Mode…"

"Code E.D.N. ReVision, activate…"

With her calm and collected prompt, Arrière activated Flickerei Geist's "Code E.D.N. ReVision Mode" combat manoeuvre program together with Ave. Their respective combat units, Flickerei Geist and Exia Flügel were then swiftly execute barrages of close, mid and long range attacks toward Ortheim-Samiel while simultaneously avoiding any of its own attack, in return. Using Exia Flügel's GN Bayonets, Ave swiftly trying to slice through Ortheim-Samiel's supposedly impenetrable magic barrier while Arrière simultaneously bombarded it with Flickerei Geist's 3-barrel machine cannon. She would also then pull her prized M13 Shotgun out and began to shoot Ortheim-Samiel's magic barrier at point blank range, emptying its rounds in the end.

Realizing that Arrière has successfully drew Mercurius' attention away towards her, Ave decided to store both of Exia Flügel's GN Bayonets away and switched to its GN Battle Swords afterwards. While dual wielding Exia Flügel's GN Battle Swords, Ave would then decided to replicate Mikami-style "Godly Twin Kodachi/ Short Sword Style" techniques that he previously learnt from his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha Takamachi, as well as her older siblings, Kyōya and Miyuki Takamachi respectively. It was when Ave executes flurry of twenty consecutive slashes at Ortheim-Samiel using Exia Flügel's GN Battle Swords while simultaneously outmanoeuvring any of its attempts to counterattack. Shortly after he has successfully land the twentieth slash using Exia Flügel's GN Battle Swords, Ave decided to temporarily retreat and inform Arrière to continue with series of relentless follow-up assault.

"Arrière! It's now your turn to take him down!"

Ave's prompting has immediately signal Arrière to resume her assault, as she successfully crack Ortheim-Samiel's supposedly impenetrable magic barrier open with Flickerei Geist's Revolving Stake. Simultaneously, the continuous impact from Flickerei Geist's Revolving Stake has also manage to slightly threw Ortheim-Samiel's balance off, forcing the humongous "False Incorruptus" to stumble on its knees. Without further ado, Arrière pushed Flickerei Geist's thrusters beyond its limit, as she began to perform an acrobatic somersault jump using her supposedly heavy humanoid combat machine. Finally, after finishing her acrobatic somersault jump, Arrière decided to activate and execute Flickerei Geist's ultimate attack, "Force Ray".

"Faul Kern! Energy release!"

"Force Ray! Burst!"

By pushing Flickerei Geist's energy source, the "Faul Kern" engine to its maximum output, Arrière executed her (its) ultimate attack, "Force Ray" towards Mercurius' "False Incorruptus", Ortheim-Samiel. Despite functioning similar to Alteisen Riese's "Claymore Avalanche", Flickerei Geist's "Force Ray" was made of tens to hundreds armour piercing energy blasts instead of solid titanium ball bearings. Nevertheless, both Alteisen Riese's "Avalanche Claymore" and Flickerei Geist's "Force Ray" were proven equally powerful to completely shatter Ortheim-Samiel's supposedly impenetrable magic barrier. Because of that, Arrière could now retreated and let Ave to execute the final phase of their ultimate combination attack, "Code E.D.N. ReVision Mode" afterwards.

"I let you handle the rest, first lieutenant Ave…"

Right after Arrière retreated to the safety, Ave decided to continue with the final phase of "Code E.D.N. ReVision Mode" ultimate combat manoeuvre in order to take Mercurius and his "False Incorruptus", Ortheim-Samiel down completely. This time around, Ave decided to switch Exia Flügel's GN Battle Swords with its ultimate blade, GN Tachi. Since only by doing so that Ave could execute Exia Flügel's ultimate attack and took Mercurius down in the end. It was when Ave decided to also activate Exia Flügel's "Trans-Am System", enhancing its thrust, defensive and offensive capabilities three times higher for a limited amount of time. Although unbeknownst to Arrière, Kōta and Shōko, Exia Flügel's "Trans-Am System" would also allow Ave to activate its Quantum System's "Quantum Burst Mode", in which override any limitation that "Trans-Am System" normally had.

With its Quantum System's "Quantum Burst Mode" has been completely activated, Ave began to execute the final phase of his and Arrière's ultimate combination attack, "Code E.D.N. ReVision Mode" in order to defeat Mercurius. While charging towards the direction of Mercurius' "False Incorruptus", Ortheim-Samiel, Ave decided to launch Exia Flügel's GN Sliders to keep the aforementioned Stargazer of The End's attention away from him. In the end, as Mercurius tried to (unsuccessfully) deflect any of these incoming GN Sliders away using Ortheim-Samiel's pair of large cold steel shotel, Ave decided to perform quantum teleportation and emerge right behind the said Stargazer of The End and his prized "False Incorruptus".

Armed with Exia Flügel's GN Tachi, Ave decided to execute his ultimate attack in order to defeat Mercurius once and for all. It was the ultimate attack that Ave has been developing, as well as perfecting ever since he received Astraea Type-A and ultimately Exia on that fateful day of his life. Through the tireless learning process and experiences that he has been accumulating across these multiple timelines, Ave could finally master this ultimate attack in the end. Because of that, he was ultimately hoping to not only defeat Mercurius once and for all with the said ultimate attack of his but also trailblazing these countless newborn eternal realities' paths toward each of their never ending tomorrows with it. Once again, with unyielding determination, Ave decided to execute his ultimate attack by slashing Mercurius' "False Incorruptus", Ortheim-Samiel down vertically with Exia Flügel's GN Tachi.

"Take this! Trans-Am Quantum Slash!"

Using Exia Flügel's GN Tachi, Ave executed his ultimate attack, "Trans-Am Quantum Slash" to vertically cleaved Mercurius' "False Incorruptus", Ortheim-Samiel. Thanks to Arrière's assault beforehand, Ave has been successful on inflicting a considerable damage towards Ortheim-Samiel using his ultimate attack, "Tans-Am Quantum Slash". Simultaneously, he has also somehow managed to cut Ortheim-Samiel's large cold steel shotels into half with Exia Flügel's GN Tachi. Immediately after he successfully inflict a considerable damage towards Mercurius' "False Incorruptus", Ortheim-Samiel, Ave decided to inform Kōta and Shōko so that they could finally defeat Mercurius by unleashing G Compatible Kaiser's true power.

"It's your turn now, Roar! Emi!" signalled Ave while retreating to the safety as well, shortly afterwards. "Of course! Shōko and I will definitely defeat him without you telling us to do so, Executive Officer Takamachi!" replied Kōta, as he released the limiter of G Compatible Kaiser's Over Gate Engine. "That's rude, Oniichan! A-anyway, you better not miss this chance…" scolded Shōko before reminding Kōta to successfully destroy their opponent, Mercurius once and for all. It was also when Shōko decided to activate G Compatible Kaiser's ultimate weapon, Over Kaiser Sword while letting her beloved older brother, Kōta knew that they could unleash their ultimate attack at any given time.

"Over Gate Engine! Maximum Drive! We are ready at any time, Oniichan!" informed Shōko, as G Compatible Kaiser's Over Gate Engine has finally reached its maximum output power. "Thanks, Shōko! Now, we can show him the true power of G Compatible Kaiser!" replied Kōta, as he unleashed G Compatible Kaiser's true power by charging towards the currently incapacitated Mercurius. "G Thundergate, full boost!" shouted Shōko, as G Compatible Kaiser was approaching Mercurius' "False Incorruptus", Ortheim-Samiel. Finally, after it arrived right in front of Mercurius' "False Incorruptus", G Compatible Kaiser raised its Over Kaiser Sword in order to unleash its destructive ultimate attack.

"BURN! OVER KAISER SWORD!"

"KAISER CRUUUUSH!"

In theory, no attack should be able to inflict any physical damage towards Mercurius and the supposedly indestructible "False Incorruptus" of his, Ortheim-Samiel. Since both Mercurius and Ortheim-Samiel exist in another layer or plane of dimension, in which parallel to the very layer or plane of dimension in which this third newborn world and other eternal realities have currently been existing at. Nevertheless, the combination of quantum pulse energy from Flickerei Geist's Force Ray, Exia Flügel's Tans-Am Quantum Slash and G Compatible Kaiser's Kaiser Crush has successfully brought Mercurius together with his "False Incorruptus", Ortheim-Samiel into the physical plane or layer in which these post-Break The World's newborn eternal realities exist. Because of that, these aforementioned ultimate attacks could inflict massive physical damage towards Mercurius and perhaps even destroy him in the end.

"Our names represent requiem…" proudly exclaimed Kōta and Shōko before simultaneously letting a small sigh out and smiled towards Ave, as well as Arrière's direction afterwards. "G Compatible Kaiser's strength is certainly something else altogether. Don't you think so as well, Arrière?" casually asked Ave while admiring at G Compatible Kaiser's ultimate feat of defeating Mercurius just now. "Its power output has certainly higher than our units, first lieutenant Ave. Since even the supposedly powerful semi-perpetual generator such as Faul Kern and GN Drive were still having weaker output compare to G Compatible Kaiser's Over Gate Engine after all…" calmly answered Arrière before affirmatively nodding back towards Ave as well, in return.

"Well, G Compatible Kaiser is a Super-type unit to begin with. Because of that, its power output should always considerably higher than any Real-type unit. Even if the said Real-type unit has been powered with extra-over technology and semi-perpetual power sources such as Faul Kern, GN Drive or Tronium Engine, I believe…" added Ave, as he decided to remind Arrière over the fundamental differences between Super-type and Real-type units. Meanwhile, Arrière was only nodding back before she decided to turn her attention towards any leftover remains from Mercurius and his "False Incorruptus", Ortheim-Samiel.

"Is there anything wrong, Arrière-san?" curiously asked Shōko, as she and Kōta saw Arrière's Flickerei Geist decided to approach Ortheim-Samiel's (Mercurius') remains. "Nothing is particularly wrong so far, miss Shōko. I was only making sure that we truly defeat our opponent just now…" replied Arrière while checking any leftover remains from the once enigmatic Mercurius and his "False Incorruptus", Ortheim-Samiel. After she scanned through the aforementioned leftover remains of Mercurius and his "False Incorruptus", Ortheim-Samiel using Flickerei Geist's sensor, Arrière could finally certain that they have been successfully defeating him. Because of that, she could now inform Ave, Kōta and Shōko that they have won this battle, at least for now.

"So, what should we do now?" asked Kōta, as he was wondering over the next step that they plan to undertake. "Once returning to Glaðsheimr's core, we should rescue Theresia and escape this golden citadel afterwards…" suggested Ave before he decided to remind Kōta, as well as Shōko and Arrière about Theresia (Rea), the enigmatic white haired girl in which currently became Glaðsheimr's power source against her own will. "It actually is a good idea, first lieutenant Ave! Since we could also give that Sonnenkind-boy a piece of our mind while doing so as well…" responded Shōko, as she was undoubtedly agree with Ave's suggestion just now. Arrière meanwhile decided to give Ave, Kōta and Shōko's brief conversation a quick yet careful thought before asking them a question shortly afterwards.

"Are we going to wait until someone teleport us back to the inner sanctum of Glaðsheimr's core? Or are we going to backtrack our path into the said inner sanctum itself?" calmly enquired Arrière while wondering on whether someone or even perhaps the male Sonnenkind that they (she) met not so long ago would teleport them (her) back to the aforementioned inner sanctum of Glaðsheimr's core. "We probably need to backtrack. Especially when it almost impossible for that bratty Sonnenkind to be kind enough to teleport us back to Glaðsheimr's core after all…" answered Kōta, as he was suggesting that they should just retrace their steps back towards the inner sanctum of Glaðsheimr's core. Ave on the other hand decided to take a more nuance approach when answering Arrière's question just now.

"We should wait for a little while before retracing our steps back to Glaðsheimr's core. Since I almost am certain that our Sonnenkind-boy would be teleporting us back to the inner sanctum in which Theresia currently has been held captive…" suggested Ave while giving Arrière a more nuance yet careful answer over the question that she asked. Arrière in the meantime was about to respond back at Ave's suggestion when another white blinding light began to envelop her together with Ave, Kōta and Shōko. "Hopefully we would all return to Glaðsheimr's core and were able to rescue Theresia-senpai…" added Shōko before letting a small albeit relieved sigh out. "We are would definitely return to Glaðsheimr's core, Shōko. That's when we rescue Rea-chan and properly destroy this place afterwards…" responded Kōta, as he decided to also reassure Shōko that they would definitely rescue the other Sonnenkind, Theresia (Rea) without fail.

It was also during this supposedly instant teleportation process that Ave, Arrière, Kōta and Shōko received transmission from one of their allies, Suguha "Leafa" Kirigaya, in which supposedly fight against any of Longinus Dreizehn Orden's forces out there. In the aforementioned transmission that they've received, Leafa decided to inform them about an important development that took place out there, not far from Glaðsheimr current position. It was an important information that certainly would help everyone plan their next steps forward before finally win this entire struggle, once and for all. Also, from this information that Leafa gave them, Ave, Arrière, Kōta and Shōko learn that Yggdmillennia's Greater Grail has finally granted humanity of these countless newborn eternal realities their most coveted wish for never ending (everlasting) tomorrow.

By the time they all arrived back at the inner sanctum of Glaðsheimr's core, Ave, Arrière, Kōta and Shōko once again remember on how the prolonged Yggdmillennia's Great Holy Grail War has somehow been related to Longinus Dreizehn Orden's arrival in this third newborn world. Ave in particular has also learnt more about how Yggdmillennia, Longinus Dreizehn Orden and humanity of post-Break The World's newborn eternal realities wish for the exact same thing. Despite taking different paths to reach this coveted wish, Yggdmillennia, Longinus Dreizehn Orden and humanity of post-Break The World's newborn eternal realities were all hope to reach them in the end.

Because of that, they all decided to gather in this place, the third newborn world in which more than one "Singularity" born. Since only in this third newborn world that Yggdmillennia, Longinus Dreizehn Orden and humanity of post-Break The World's newborn eternal realities could finally begin the ritual that would help them obtain their aforementioned coveted wish. It was also when they decided to activate "Heaven's Feel", one of the true magic that would grant them any of their coveted wishes. Unfortunately however, sacrificing at least one of these "Singularities" were necessary for anyone that wish to activate the "Third Magic" or "Heaven's Feel", as this aforementioned sacrifice would act as an important catalyst of their sincere albeit corrupted wish.

From remembering the truth behind the aforementioned sincere albeit corrupted wish in which Yggdmillennia, Longinus Dreizehn Orden and humanity of post-Break The World's newborn eternal realities have coveted, Ave, Arrière, Kōta and Shōko decided to instead prevent them from obtaining it. At the same time, together with his new family, allies, comrade in arms and loved ones, Ave has also been trying to prevent "Heaven's Feel" to manifest, at the very least in this third newborn world, as well as several other newborn worlds out there. Since only by doing so that he could ironically hope to safeguard the very exact same wish in which Yggdmillennia, Longinus Dreizehn Orden and humanity of post-Break The World's newborn eternal realities have truly been coveted after all.

ED Theme Song: Iris (Performed By: Aoi Eir)

Shortly after she, Ilfriede and Erika took separate routes from one another, Suguha or Leafa decided to infiltrate an abandoned ruin in which has now become Brotherhood of Light's temporary stronghold. Armed with her prized long elongate tachi in which also happen to be a Divine-class Object or Armament, "Verdurous Anima", Leafa skilfully took multiple enemies down with it. Combined with Terraria's blessing and constant regenerative attribute, Leafa single-handedly fought her way to this Brotherhood of Light's temporary stronghold. Since any light or even severe injuries that any of her enemies inflicted would almost instantly healed thanks to the aforementioned Terraria's blessing and constant regenerative attribute. Unfortunately however, Terraria's blessing and constant regenerative attribute could never negate any excruciating pain that Leafa experienced from her more severe injuries.

Nonetheless, she decided grit her teeth and continue to press forward by infiltrating the aforementioned Brother of Light's temporary stronghold alone. Since, despite having bloodstained bandages and makeshift tourniquets were seen covering some parts of her body, Leafa could still defeat any mercenaries that Brotherhood of Light employed together with its very own combatants. Especially when most if not all of her wounds underneath these bandages and makeshift tourniquets have been completely healed thanks to Terraria's blessing, as well as constant regenerative attribute.

Still the seemingly non-stop battles against Brotherhood of Light's mercenaries and combatants have somehow made Leafa feel quite exhausted. Since by now, she has fought tens to hundreds of mercenaries as well as Brotherhood of Light's own combatants when trying to infiltrate their stronghold alone. Shortly after infiltrating Brotherhood of Light's temporary stronghold, Leafa finally arrived at their sacrifice chamber, in which the stolen Greater Grail has been secretly kept. It was also at that particular moment, Leafa remembered the information in which one of her new friend, Honey Kisaragi has been sharing prior to this infiltration. From information that Honey has told her, Leafa learnt about what happened to Yggdmillennia and how the Greater Grail under their position could be stolen from them.

According to Honey's information, Brotherhood of Light has decided to not only employ mercenaries in this Great Holy Grail War but also joining forces with surviving Coalition of Old Governments' remnants. Leafa also very well remembered on how majority of Coalition of Old Governments' members were originally came from Ave's Old World, as they view Break The World to be a divine sign for the second coming of major monotheistic religious belief(s) that shall not be named. These Coalition of Old Governments' remnants were acting as diversion under Brotherhood of Light's order and sadly manage to draw most of Yggdmillennia's Masters and Servants away from their own stronghold, the Millennium Citadel. It was shortly after most of Yggdmillennia's Masters and Servants were away from their own stronghold that Brotherhood of Light's mercenaries together with their remaining Masters and Servants began their infiltration mission before successfully steal the Greater Grail.

Currently, Yggdmillennia's surviving Masters and Servants has decided to regroup while simultaneously planning their counterattack. Initially, Leafa thought that the surviving Yggdmillennia's Masters and Servants wish only to reclaim their Greater Grail while simultaneously enacting a vendetta against Brotherhood of Light. In reality however, she was wrong about that, as Yggdmillennia's surviving Masters and Servants wish only to reclaim the Greater Grail before using it for the benefit of humanity's everlasting tomorrow.

Realising the true purpose behind Yggdmillennia's surviving Masters and Servants has made Leafa agree to assist them. That was why she decided to infiltrate Brotherhood of Light's temporary stronghold after previously helping Erika and Ilfriede fought Longinus Dreizehn Orden's Held Krieger soldiers not so long ago. Since only by doing so, Leafa could hope to protect these newborn eternal realities, in which she also dearly cherish.

Suddenly, multiple sounds of clashing blades were heard echoing across the entire sacrifice chamber, as Leafa decided to quickly drew her Divine-class Object or Armament, "Verdurous Anima" and getting ready at the same time. For now, she also decided to stop thinking about Honey's words, as well as some of her past experiences in order to get ready for any possible enemies' ambushes. Instead, she saw a pair of beautiful female elves on the other side of this sacrifice chamber, fighting against hordes of mindless undead warriors underneath broken and tattered Brotherhood of Light's paladin garbs. Thankfully, unlike those hordes of mindless undead warriors that they currently fought, these beautiful female elves were skilful enough to effortlessly defeat them using every weapons and magic spells that they have in their arsenals.

"Are they High Elf and Dark Elf? I never thought to see them fight together side-by-side…" muttered Leafa alone under her breath before she decided to help these beautiful female elves fought their enemies. Upon closer inspection, Leafa quickly identify the female Dark Elf as one of Kirito's acquaintance back when he explored Ainground in the past, prior to Break The World. Unlike the female High Elf in which happen to be a shamanist fighter, the aforementioned female Dark Elf was actually incapable of using any magic spells. Instead, she skilfully fought these mindless undead warriors using her trusty one-handed cutlass and small anneal shield. Nonetheless, her inability to cast any magic spells doesn't inhibit any of her combat performance against these mindless undead warriors, as she was still more than capable of defeating them after all.

"Kizmel-san! I didn't know that you are here to help us!" cheerfully greeted Leafa, as she also swiftly took down some of these mindless undead warriors with her Divine-class Object or Armament, "Verdurous Anima". "Le-Leafa? W-w-why are you here? Are you also getting caught in this trap as well?" responded the said female Dark Elf, Kizmel with surprised expression shown all over her face. "Did you know her, Kizmel?" asked her female High-Elf-companion right after she took remaining mindless undead warriors down with her thin yet extremely durable rapier, bow and arrows beforehand. Kizmel in return was only letting a small yet relieved sigh out before she introduced Leafa at the said female High Elf-companion of hers.

"Yes, she is Leafa, a younger sister of an old acquaintance of mine. Although, I never thought to that we would her here in this place, Deedlit…" replied Kizmel before introducing Leafa to her female High Elf-companion, Deedlit. "Hi, I'm Leafa. Nice to meet you, Deedlit-san…" greeted Leafa while smiling at Deedlit. The said female High Elf shamanist fighter, Deedlit in return was only smiling before responding back at her greeting just now. "Likewise, Leafa. I'm Deedlit, a High Elf shaman from Forest of No Return. It is my pleasure to know you, Leafa…" politely responded Deedlit while introducing her name towards Leafa as well, at the same time. "Forest of No Return? I never heard such place before…" replied Leafa, as she wondered on whether such place has actually existed in unexplored part of Ainground.

"Forest of No Return is located not far from Alanian border, as it stretched over a thousand selge north-south and three hundred selge wide. It also is one of the most heavily enchanted regions of Lodoss…" casually explained the said female High Elf shamanist fighter, Deedlit while smiling towards Leafa as well, in return. "Lodoss? Is that a name of Ainground's uncharted region? Or it even perhaps located beyond the border of Rulid Village…" once again asked Leafa, as her question in turn has made Deedlit confused. "Ainground? Rulid Village? Are they located within the vast land of Alecrast?" responded Deedlit with her own enquiry this time around. Thankfully, Kizmel decided to offer Leafa and Deedlit her own thought on this before they become even more confused.

"I believe both Forest of No Return and Lodoss are located in another world, Leafa. Although they were still somehow connected to Ainground via a mysterious gate that suddenly appear deep within Ruby Palace's vault…" explained Kizmel, as she decided to shed some light about the fact that both Forest of No Return and Lodoss were located in a certain different world after all. "Uhm, are you referring to Volda's Gate that appeared out of nowhere a year ago? I thought Oniichan and others have it disabled already, Kizmel-san…" responded Leafa before asking Kizmel about it. "You're right, Leafa. Although, it has recently been activated for some unknown reason…" replied Kizmel while mentioning on how the supposedly inactive Volda's Gate has once again been activating itself. Leafa in the meantime was only quietly listening at Kizmel's reply and explanation before nervously nodding back at her as well, in return.

"I think one of these so called Volda's Gate also appear in Lodoss. I heard one of them appear right in the middle of treasure vault that Mycen has been guarding…" added Deedlit, as she also mentioned on how another (presumably) Volda's Gate has suddenly appeared within the Kingdom of Moss' territory and heavily guarded by Mycen, the legendary golden dragon together with its venerated army of Dragon Riders. "Is this Volda's Gate teleport you into this world, Deedlit-san?" asked Leafa while staring at the said female High Elf shamanist fighter, Deedlit curiously.

"You're right, Leafa. Under Mycen's personal invitation and request, I decided to investigate it. Although, I never thought that Fabula Fores…I mean Volda's Gate would suddenly teleport me away into this unknown world, Leafa…" replied Deedlit before letting a small sigh out, in return. Leafa meanwhile was only letting a small sheepish chuckle out after she listened at Deedlit's reply just now. "So, you were teleported into this place by accident. I never thought such thing could occur in real life…" remarked Kizmel, as she was surprised to hear that. Deedlit in return could only took a long deep breath and let another small sigh out before responding back at Kizmel's remark just now.

"Unfortunately strange things do sometimes happen in life, Kizmel. Although, it still is entirely up to us to overcome any of it, I believe…" responded Deedlit while smiling towards Kizmel as well, at the same time. It was when the said female Dark Elf warrior, Kizmel decided to smile back at Deedlit and explain her own situation to her, as well as Leafa. "What happened to me is actually quite similar. Even though I arrived here to escape from my pursuers via a mysterious gate that suddenly appeared deep within the Ocean Foliage of Wavering Mists…" replied Kizmel, as she decided to explain her situation to both Deedlit and Leafa. Suddenly, instead of responding back at Kizmel's explanation, Deedlit and Leafa's attention were taken by a dim light that the stolen Greater Grail has emitted not far from their current position.

"We probably should postpone our conversation for now and investigate that object over there…" suggested Deedlit before approaching the said Greater Grail together with Leafa. Kizmel in which decided to follow those two were speechless when she saw the Greater Grail's majestic appearance that emit this dim light all over it. "Is this the omnipotent wish granting device that Kirito and Asuna have told me in the past? I thought it only is a small ceremonial chalice…" remarked Kizmel while still having both eyes glued on the majestic Greater Grail in front of her. "I thought so as well, Kizmel-san. Since Asuna-san and Oniichan never properly explain me about how this Holy Grail actually look like…" added Leafa, as she was agree with Kizmel's remark just now.

"I never thought that such omnipotent wish granting artefact ever existed in any of these mortal planes before. Although, a certain acquaintance of mine has spent almost her entire eternity searching for it…" mentioned Deedlit while responding back at both Kizmel and Leafa's remark. "This acquaintance of yours is surely has a very strong resolve in his or her heart, Deedlit. Since not many of us are willing to spend their entire existences searching for something that might not even existed in the first place…" replied Kizmel, as she was also wondering about the identity of Deedlit's acquaintance at the same time. Deedlit in return was only shrugging back at Kizmel before telling her and Leafa the story related to this aforementioned certain acquaintance of hers in return.

"She once known as a Knight Princess that roam the World of Forcelia for quite some times. During one of her adventure across Lodoss, we met and fought against the resurrected ancient red dragon, Shooting Star. It was also when she met Parn and became sort of a rival for him afterwards…" narrated Deedlit while reminiscing her past encounter with this aforementioned Knight Princess in the past. "Is she also possessing the heart of a dragon that grant her almost infinite amount of magical energy and unparalleled strength despite being inexperienced, Deedlit-san?" curiously asked Leafa, as she has also manage to vaguely guessing this Knight Princess' identity at the same time. It was when Leafa's mostly accurate guess has somehow surprise Deedlit, as she decided to reply back with another question of hers afterwards.

"Actually, you have described Altria accurately, Leafa. Have you met her before?" replied Deedlit back while asking Leafa another question as well, in return. "Oniichan and I have once met her in the past. Although, you seem to have actually met her younger self instead, Deedlit-san…" responded Leafa, as she sheepishly smiled at the said female High Elf shamanist fighter, Deedlit afterwards. Suddenly, the previously dim Greater Grail began to shine brightly and brilliantly before engulfing Leafa with its majestic brilliance. Both Kizmel and Deedlit were immediately tried to grab Leafa's arms in order to pull her out from this majestic brilliant light that almost completely engulf her. Unfortunately however, they have failed to do so, as Leafa already disappeared by the time this aforementioned majestic brilliant light started to disperse.

"Leafa! Where are you?" shouted Kizmel, as she desperately tried to locate her. "This Holy Grail seems to teleport her somewhere, Kizmel. Although sadly, we won't have time to search for her, as another group of enemies are approaching our way…" replied Deedlit back before mentioning on how another group of mindless undead warriors in Brotherhood of Light's paladin garbs were fast approaching them. Kizmel in return was only clicked her tongue in annoyance while readying her combat stance after she listened at Deedlit's warning just now. "Well, we deal with them quickly and find our friend Leafa afterwards. Don't let your guard down, Deed…" responded Kizmel, as she initiated her first strike towards these mindless undead warriors in Brotherhood of Light's paladin garbs afterwards.

"Likewise, Kizmel. We will take them down in no time…" calmly replied Deedlit before summoning both wind spirit, Sylph and water spirit, Undine to assist her. Together with Kizmel, Deedlit then decided to fight these incoming mindless undead warriors while hoping to quickly defeat them. Since only by defeating them that Deedlit and Kizmel could hope to rescue Leafa before escaping this Brotherhood of Light's temporary stronghold afterwards. Although, unbeknownst to both Deedlit and Kizmel, the Greater Grail has secretly made its choice to grant Leafa any of her wish. Because of that, Leafa would soon made her wish and by doing so end this senseless conflict once and for all.

To Be Continued…
