Hello guys! This will be my first time writing a roschel fanfic and I hope you won't hate it. Yes, I did change the story lines and I have the right to do that because it's my story.
so, here it goes3
CHAPTER 1
Rachel POV
I just ran out on my wedding. daddy's going to be so mad at me. I went inside Central Perk and found the person I'm looking for, Monica. Yes, I didn't invite Monica to my wedding but I have a perfectly good reason—I don't love Barry. If I were to get married and would want my best friend there, I'd be marrying the man I love.
"Okay, everybody, this is Rachel, another Lincoln High survivor." Monica introduced me to her friends—and to him. Ross Geller. I don't know why but when I saw him, my heart's beating suddenly became faster than before. Maybe it was the fact that I just ran out of my own wedding, I thought.
Ross POV
When she came in Central Perk, I remembered all those years that I liked her—wrong, I loved her. It's like suddenly, all my pain and suffering disappeared. Just by looking at her smiling at me, I felt like I was in a dream. While she was explaining why she was still wearing her wedding dress, I can't help but think what it would be like for OUR wedding. Picturing her walking down the aisle, her hair curled and wearing a veil, smiling at me. Does that mean that I still am in love with her after all these years?
(back at Monica's apartment)
Rachel POV
"Look Daddy, it's my life. Well maybe I'll just stay here with Monica." I said even if I wasn't sure if Monica would let me. After all these years, we have drifted apart but I still treat her as my best friend. She's been there for me in the best times and the worst times of my life. I am so thankful for her, I just don't know if she really did feel my love for her.
(time skip)
While we were sitting, there was only one Oreo left and we both reached for it. We ended up at the decision of splitting it.
"You know you probably didn't know this, but back in high school, I had a, um, major crush on you." Ross suddenly said. I was taken aback about it but I just answered him.
"I knew." I replied.
"You did! Oh... I always figured you just thought I was Monica's geeky older brother."
"I did."
"Oh. Listen, do you think- and try not to let my intense vulnerability become any kind of a factor here- but do you think it would be okay if I asked you out? Sometime? Maybe?" My heart fluttered at his question. I have nothing to lose, right? So, why not.
"Yeah, maybe..."
"Okay... okay, maybe I will..."
"Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
As she walked in her room, Ross couldn't help but stare at her. How she walks, talks and laughs, she can just look at him and he'll be all over her again.
Narrator POV
Monica suddenly, walks out her room and saw Ross staring at Rachel's door, smiling. She thought of what could be the possible reason and then it hit her. Ross's feeling for Rachel had came back or rather, never really stopped. Sure, she'd love Ross and Rachel together but she didn't want to see a broken hearted Ross again. She snapped Ross out of his thoughts and asked him
"Hey Ross, you okay? What are you so giddy about" Knowing completely well of what her brother was feeling.
"Oh yeah, Mon. I'm great. I'm gonna go now." He left but not before kissing his sister on her forehead whispering "Thank you" to her.
(Meanwhile, at Rachel's room)
Rachel POV
I didn't know how but since yesterday, every time she sees him, her heart beats faster and faster. Does she like him? She quickly dismissed her thoughts because why would she even like Monica's geeky, nerdy, hot older brother. Wait. Did she just say hot? Oh no, I think I do like him.
~and that is the first chapter. I know it's not that good and a little bit forward and messy but the story will get more interesting. I promise. I hope you liked it and comments and reviews will be gladly accepted. I hope you'd enjoy your day! I'll update as soon as I get the chance. I promise to finish the story within the year.
