"Alright, what do you want me to do?" Ari replied to the voice. He decided that as soon as this Azorian the Blue told him what to do and let him out of the cave, Ari was gonna make a run for it. This dragon ghost was crazy if she thought Ari was a 'worthy Trovian'. First, you must bring 100 dragon coins, 20 golden souls, and 40 glacial shards to my shrine. This will create an essence that will allow me to return to a physical form. Ari had no idea what dragon coins or the other materials were, but he just agreed that he would bring them in order to get out of there. Very well. I'm going to let you leave my shrine, but you must bring these items within 7 days.
Ari turned around and saw that the cave entrance had returned. "Yeah, I'm gonna bring those items tomorrow!" Ari shouted, and then he started walking through the cave entrance. Azorian didn't respond, so as soon as the entrance was behind him, Ari broke into a run so that he could get the hell out of there. Eventually, he got out of the cave and back into the forest. It was still dark outside, but Ari's footsteps weren't muffled anymore. The cool air never felt so good as Ari ran back to his house.
After about 10 minutes of travelling, Ari finally reached his house. He opened the door and walked to his bedroom. It took Ari a while to fall asleep due to both fear and excitement, but he was gonna have one heck of a story to tell Cami the next day.
"Ari, wake up! You're gonna be late for school!" Roland shouted from downstairs. Aria groggily rubbed his eyes and sat up in bed. At first, he didn't remember what happened the night before. However, as he got out of bed, the events from last night began coming back to him. What a weird dream, Ari thought to himself. However, as he was grooming himself in the bathroom, Ari heard Azorian telepathically say, Do not forget to bring the materials.
After a few days, Ari went to school and noticed Cami wasn't there. He just assumed that Cami was sick. During class, Aria droned on about the history of Elysianity, which was the religion most Trovians followed. Ari thought the part about Elysia sacrificing herself to destroy the shadows was pretty cool, but everything else was just boring. What's the point of learning about Bablananavan, the demigod of philosophy? Ari thought to himself. The clock ticking made the class seem like it was going on forever, but eventually, the school day finally ended.
Ari went outside to ask Cami for a ride home, but remembered that she wasn't there. As Ari began to walk the miles back home, he was suddenly pinned down from behind. "Looks like your girlfriend isn't here to save you today! You're gonna pay for making me bald!" Cyndescret yelled as he slammed Ari's face into the dirt. After rubbing Ari's face into the ground, Cyndescret grabbed Ari's shirt collar and lifted him into the air. "Come on Shredder, bite him!" Cyndescret yelled with an evil grin. Ari died a little inside, knowing that Cyndescret's bloodthirsty Battle Caterpillar was gonna show up to chew him up. From behind Cyndescret, Ari could see Shredder the Battle Caterpillar, as ugly as ever, bounding closer with a sinister look on its face.
Suddenly, there was a bright flash of blue light, and Cyndescret yelled in extreme pain. As the blue light faded away, Ari could see that Shredder was running in random directions, and Cyndescret was clutching his head. "What did you do to me!" Cyndescret yelled in pain, and Ari could see that Cyndescret's eyes, sclera and all, were now bright blue balls of light. Cyndescret charged in a random direction, and Ari could tell that Cyndescret was blinded by whatever the bright flash was. Not feeling any sympathy for Cyndescret, Ari took this as an opportunity to run away.
At home, Ari decided to keep his encounter with Cyndescret a secret. Ari still couldn't help but wonder if the bright flash of blue was linked to Azorian. Azorian did refer to herself as Azorian the Blue after all. Eventually, it became dark, and Ari decided to go to sleep earlier than usual.
That night, Ari had a strange dream. In the dream, he was inside a vast cave made from obsidian, and the cave was illuminated with bright blue glowing crystals jutting from the ground and ceiling. The cave didn't have any humidity whatsoever. Large pools of water littered the ground, and at the bottom of the pools was black sand. Glowing green neon seaweed grew from the sand at the bottom of the water pools. The cave was completely devoid of animals.
Ari was feeling both hungry and thirsty, so he dove into one of the pools and drank the water in large gulps. The water was the best water he had ever tasted. After his thirst was quenched, Ari ripped off some of the seaweed and ate it. The seaweed was sweet, and Ari enjoyed every last bit of it.
After satisfying his hunger, Ari climbed out of the pool. He began to wander around in the cave, and eventually it came to him that he was in a dream. Ari was beginning to grow bored, so he tried to lucid dream. However, Ari found that he wasn't able to control the dream. Feeling weirded out by this, Ari tried to force himself awake. That didn't work, so Ari began to grow concerned that he wouldn't be able to wake up.
You never brought the dragon coins I requested, or the golden souls and glacial shards. Azorian thoughtspoke. Ari tried to make up an excuse, but the words wouldn't come out of his mouth. Ari just didn't want to gather whatever the materials were. Consider this your warning. If you don't bring the materials I ordered you to gather in two days, then you'll be trapped in this world for a week. Bring me the dragon coins, golden souls, and the glacial shards. This isn't a request. Remember that you are the chosen one. And with that, Ari woke up.
It was daytime now. Knowing that Azorian was serious, Ari decided to ask Roland about dragon coins.
