"Why would you need to know about dragon coins?" Roland asked. "They were banned after the war between dragons and Trovians." Ari had just asked Roland about dragon coins, remembering his encounter with Azorian. "Well, since you're sending me to a private school soon, I think I should know all about Trovian history." Ari lied. "I don't know why you need to know about dragon coins, but I'll tell you what I know." Roland began.

"Dragon coins are magical objects forged by dragons themselves. I have no idea how dragon coins themselves are made, but dragon coins have the capability to bring a dead dragon back to life, provided that its soul hasn't passed to the afterlife. I don't know if I'm remembering this correctly, because my own history teacher told me this when I was your age, but when combined with the correct materials, dragon coins can be used to create a physical form for a dragon's spirit. The more materials and dragon coins you use, then the stronger form the dragon takes on."

"Okay, so how can I find dragon coins?" Ari interrupted. "I don't know. Like I said, they were banned a long time ago. Now you need to get ready for school, or you're gonna be late." Roland didn't seem like he wanted to talk about dragon coins. Ari sighed, and decided that he could go back to Azorian's shrine and ask her where to find dragon coins. All the other materials Azorian wanted can probably be bought at the marketplace, Ari thought to himself.

At school, Ari was relieved that Cyndescret was absent. However, Cami wasn't there either again. Cami rarely stayed home from school for over a day, so Ari decided that he was gonna go check on her after visiting Azorian's shrine. Ari did notice that some of Cyndescret's goons were staring at him as he walked through the halls.

A few hours into school, Ari was called into the principal's office. The principal, Mr. Duncan, was a short, obese man who was going bald. He was always in a bad mood, and almost none of the students liked him. "Sit down, Ari," Mr. Duncan commanded in a nasaly voice, and Ari obliged. "Now, do you know why you're here?" "No sir," Ari responded. He really didn't know why he was called to the principal's office. "Well, Cyndescret's parents called in yesterday. They said that you did something to their son, and now he's been blinded. They're threatening to sue."

Ari knew that if he told his side of the story, Mr. Duncan wouldn't believe him, so he decided to lie. "Well yesterday, I-I was walking home, and Cyndescret started to beat me up. But then, someone taking an alchemy class splashed some kind of liquid onto Cyndescret's face. As soon as that happened, I ran home. I only saw that person for a little bit, but I think they were trying to save me."

Mr. Duncan, after hearing this, said, "Very well. Given Cyndescret's… history, I'm more inclined to believe your story. All of this will be documented. You may go back to class now." It seemed like Mr. Duncan had more important matters than hearing Ari's story, so Ari obliged and went back to class. He felt good knowing that the person who literally made him eat and swallow dog shit was blinded, even if it turns out that it's only temporary.

After school finally ended, Ari wanted to get back home as quickly as possible to visit Azorian's shrine, so he went around begging for a ride. After 15 minutes, a girl who introduced herself as Farylin agreed to give Ari a ride home on her Silvercoat Rodontodon. As they were going go Ari's house, a group of emo boys rudely yelled that Ari was gay for always hanging around girls. "Just ignore them, they're losers anyway," Farylin told Ari after his face reddened.

Eventually, Ari and Farylin reached Ari's house. Farylin and Ari hit it off pretty well on the way to Ari's house, so Ari asked Farylin if she wanted to hang out with him and Cami one day. Farylin knew Cami from a class she took, so she agreed and gave Ari her glyphnumber. Feeling good about himself, Ari said goodbye to Farylin and went inside. He didn't want to seem like a weirdo going into the woods, so Ari waited until Farylin left before going to Azorian's shrine.

When Farylin eventually left, Ari walked to Azorian's shrine. He couldn't remember which way to go to reach it, but some unseen force was guiding him to it. Eventually, Ari reached the cave entrance and walked down to the shrine. As he approached the crystal blue water, Azorian thoughtspoke Did you bring the materials I requested? "No, I – I don't know how to get dragon coins." There was some silence, and then Azorian replied, The family of your enemy, Cyndescret, is keeping a small cache of dragon coins in their house. I do not know how they obtained them, but I do know that they have them. "Wait, so you want me to rob their house?" Ari nervously asked. Yes, unless you want to travel thousands of miles to find another cache of dragon coins. Remember that you are the chosen one.

Ari decided that robbing his bully's house was better than spending another week in the dreamworld, so he agreed to steal the dragon coins. He did wonder how Cyndescret's family was able to obtain such a rare and illegal material. However, as he thought about that, he remembered feeling that Cyndescret going blind and Azorian were linked. "Azorian, yesterday someone was bullying me, and then a bright blue flash caused them to go blind. Was that because of you?" There was silence, and then Azorian replied, Yes, that was because of me. I am always watching over you. "How long have you been watching over me?" Ever since you entered the world. I waited until you were mature enough to fulfill your role as the chosen one. Ari didn't know what to think of that, and he was a little creeped out. "Why have you been watching over me? Why am I the chosen one?" Ari asked. You do not know this, but you are something that no one else is. This makes you the chosen one. I will explain more when I have returned to a physical form.

Ari decided that he had heard enough, so he just muttered a thank you and left the cave.
