Todoroki 1st P.O.V

We did it. We seriously did it.

Best Jeanist, Nejire-chan, and Lemillion thank god they were here. They helped to hold down and defeat the League and their mountain of a guard. If it weren't for them - who knows what would've happened.

I so wanted to find and punch Bakugou hard, how dare he jump right back into the battle, knowing full well he was injured!

And don't think that Midoriya is safe either, I swear those two would wind up dead if they weren't supervised. (The only reason I'm not going to punch either of them is because Iida is sure to rant for hours on how they shouldn't have gone to fight alone).

Dabi - Touya - whoever he was, how could he do this to us, his family, to Natsu and Fuyumi and Mom? When his flames kept creeping up, burning hotter than any other flames I had ever felt, and when he pulled me in and started burning us both it did not hurt me, not like everything else did.

Before, when I had Bakugou dangling from my hand, dying - I felt pain there. When I saw the souped-up Shigaraki wrap his hand around Midoriya's face - I felt pain there too. What would've happened if I didn't get there in time? Would I have lost all I cared about? I don't want to even think about it, all I know was I had to get them somewhere safe, somewhere where they could get healed without worrying about how the others were doing - or in Bakugou's case, who else there was left to kill.

The heroes and the police were loading the League into the Iron Maidens, I don't know how they were going to transport the Giant creature back, but I didn't care for that. All I cared about was Midoriya and Bakugou.

Through the cracked and destroyed mountain, I raced between the heroes looking for those two. I called out for them, hoping to hear any sign of them.

"Shoto," My father called, "What are you doing?" He was still worn from Dabi's revelation, but he was trying his best to remain steady as the Number One.

Still looking around frantically I shouted back, "I'm looking for Bakugou and Midoriya!" I had forgotten to use their Hero Names in my haste and worry. I thought I had caught a glimpse of Midoriya's green poof of hair, but it was just a bush. Where the hell could they be?

"They're over there!" He pointed to an area covered in destroyed trees and cracked boulders, where the brunt of the fight was held above - I should've guessed. Going as fast as my legs would take me I rushed to that area and started scurrying around, checking every spot I could think of.

"Bakugou! Midoriya!" I called out once more, legs almost unable to keep going. I wasn't going to stop until I found them, though.

"Todo… roki…" Someone groaned out somewhere to the left of me. I turned to that direction and started staggering towards the voice, c'mon legs - just a little farther. "Todoroki," The voice called again, seemingly closer than it was before. Pushing through a bunch of bushes, tripping over the ground, I caught the sight of Midoriya laying on his back, broken arms laid uselessly by his side, with legs that weren't faring any better.

Kneeling down beside him, thankful that I managed to find him, I cried out, "What the hell were you thinking?" He tried to sit up, but he couldn't hold himself up with his busted arms. He winced in pain as I cried once more, "You're a complete idiot! You do know that, right?"

He let out a cough filled chuckle as he winced again, "Sorry I worried you, Todoroki, I just couldn't let you and my other friends get hurt fighting someone who was after me." Him and his stupid hero complex.

"How do you think we feel - how I feel - when you run off… risking your own life. I didn't know if you or Bakugou were going to get out of there alive. Don't you think that matters? Speaking of which, where's Bakugou?"

Midoriya tried to lift one of his arms but it was shaking uncontrollably and fell under its own weight. He turned his head to the right, "I last saw him somewhere over there, Iida had him before he left to go join in on fighting the League. But I'm sorry Todoroki, I had to help. Gigantomachia was going to break free from Best Jeanist's hold, I couldn't let him!"

I grabbed under his back and knees and began lifting him up, "I know." I said then added, "I'm sorry about this, Midoriya," apologizing for the way I was holding him (and just in case he got hurt during our search) as I finished standing up, keeping him secured in my arms. Moving slowly, I stumbled in the direction of Bakugou's last known location.

When I found him, he was leaning up against a boulder, bleeding out majorly. If Shigaraki wasn't already caught I was about ready to go and kill him myself. Glancing from the injured Midoriya in my arms to the injured Bakugou in front of me I was troubled with the thought that I might have to leave one of them alone. Who knows what could go wrong if I were to leave any one of them here to die. No, no matter what, I was going to save both of them, I couldn't live with myself if I chose one over the other.

I moved Midoriya so he was hanging over my shoulder, "Hang on," I instructed as I walked towards Bakugou. His head moved upward, looking in our direction, eyes faded over and sweat covering his entire face, yet somehow, he still looked as beautiful as ever.

His eyes moved around, probably checking around the area, and taking in the fact that there was a Midoriya hanging off of my shoulder, "The hell…" his voice was quiet and shaky, most likely due to a worn-out throat, "are you doing here… Icy-Hot?" He finished his question slowly as I crept forward, now directly in front of him.

I leaned down and picked him up as I had Midoriya just a few minutes ago, he wrestled around in my grasp, trying to hit me and kick me, "Stop fighting! Let me take care of you, Bakugou, please." He relaxed into my hold, his arms crossed over his chest, telling me that he didn't like this one bit. "Are you okay over there, Midoriya?" I asked, wanting to make sure both of them were okay before I started moving.

"I'm fine, Todoroki, in pain, but fine."

Trudging through the land, I made my way to the gaggle of heroes that didn't go with the police in transporting the villains. Amongst them was Nejire-chan and Lemillion, Eraserhead and Rock Lock too.

They raced over, Aizawa being held up by Rock Lock, "Deku," Lemillion and Rock Lock called, "Bakugou," the others cried.

"Now's not the time, we need to get them to Recovery Girl, or to a hospital," I commanded, worried about how much time we had left, especially in Bakugou's case.

Mr. Aizawa pulled a phone out of one of his many pockets and powered it on. While he thumbed through his contacts I shifted Midoriya and Bakugou so they were a bit more comfortable, being wary of their injuries.

After a short conversation, Mr. Aizawa told us, "Present Mic and Nezu are on their way, they've already contacted the nearest, undestroyed, hospital. There is a major backup, but luckily there is a special room for Heroes in need of extreme emergency care, Recovery Girl is already there, healing civilians."

"You two are absolute idiots, I hope you understand that." I reprimanded the injured self-sacrificing 'heroes'.

"Oh shut the fuck up."

"Sorry, Todoroki."

After a car ride too long for my taste we managed our way to the hospital, Nejire-chan and Lemillion stayed behind to find class 1A, and Rock Lock was taking Aizawa to Recovery Girl for a 'quick fix'.

I managed to get Midoriya and Bakugou into their room, laying them down on their separate cots while a nurse administered an IV line to keep them going while we waited for Recovery Girl. While waiting a few other nurses showed up to take vitals and bandage Bakugou's wounds.

It felt like hours passed by, the nurses came back to insert some pain meds, and at one point Bakugou was hooked up to a ventilator and a few other machines I didn't recognize after he started choking on his own breaths.

Midoriya was taken in for X-rays, and before he left the room he shot me a glum - questioning - look, but I told him I would be fine. And I would be, so long as these two stayed alive.

Shortly after Midoriya left the room one of the many machines surrounding Bakugou began beeping sporadically. I had no clue what it meant, but it couldn't've been good. I stood up from my chair suddenly but could do nothing as a group of nurses and doctors slammed open the door and began bustling about, uttering phrases I couldn't even begin to comprehend. I caught a few I understood, and they weren't what I wanted to hear.

"Vitals are falling."

"Losing too much blood."

And "Immediate transfusion." We're amongst the few that frightened me the most. What the hell was going on? They wheeled Bakugou out of the room to God only knows where. My mouth opened and closed, I felt myself unable to breathe, eyes threatening to tear up - even though I had barely any tears left. A different nurse stalked up to me and calmly demanded, "What is Katsuki Bakugou's blood type?"

Oh. We all learned each other's type for situations exactly like this, "A…" I stumbled on the single letter, terrified, before realizing that his life was in my hands. I looked her straight in the eyes and said, "He's type A." And watched as she professionally hurried down the corridor in the direction everyone else went.

It was boring, sitting in this room alone. Nothing but me and my thoughts. My stomach was growling, my throat was parched, but it felt like nothing.

I could've lost them both. It would've been all my fault. A stray tear blocked my vision, and another one was close behind it. I hiccuped and coughed and choked on the tears, and I allowed myself to feel this.

The door slid open, gently, as the sound of a hospital-issued wheelchair entered the room. I moved my head up, to stop glancing at the floor. Through blurry, tear-stained eyes, I made out the unmistakable figure of Midoriya, "Hey." He called, moving closer to my chair, "Where'd Kacchan go?" The fear was barely hidden beneath his fake-cheery voice.

"I don't know, he was rushed out of here about 7 minutes ago, something about a transfusion?" He tensed up in his seat, hands ready to break the armrests with how tight his grip was.

We stayed in silence.

Where's Recovery Girl when you need her?

We sat in tense silence for about 20 minutes until finally, Recovery Girl trotted in, "Sorry, dearies, for taking so long." She administered her healing on me, even though I kept swearing that I didn't need any, then turned to Midoriya - all serious.

"You were warned that a few more of those and your arms would be useless. Your bones are fragmented worse than both the sports festival and Muscular combined. Severe nerve damage, not to mention torn tendons and strained muscles. You have to be more careful, being a hero doesn't just mean protecting everyone, it also means protecting yourself. If you didn't throw yourself into battle with no thought of any consequences there may have been a way to save your arms, but I can't see anything short of amputating them. I know you want to be a hero badly, so I'll give you some good news, there is someone who can mend together the fragments, but they cannot reverse the damage, think of it as superglue, for your bones. They'll be here soon, so in the meantime, I'll give you a low dose of healing." She kissed his forehead, and immediately I could see his bruises and cuts heal, his arms still gangly and broken, but he himself looked better.

She walked back towards me, "Bakugou is currently getting a blood transfusion done, so it'll be awhile before he comes back. Get some food and some rest, they'll be fine." I know, but I couldn't seem to leave them.

When I gave no sign of moving, she sighed and backed away. "In a bit," I promised as she left the room.

The only sounds now were Midoriya struggling.

I glanced in his direction and laughed as he failed at holding onto his phone. "Very funny," he cried as I got out of my chair, joints popping as I stood up and made my way over to him.

"Need any help?" I joked as I rolled him over to his bed and helped him up. He pouted as I laid him down.

When I went to walk away he grabbed at my hero costume and drawled out, "Todoroki, could you please stay?" Darn this man, this always works on me, especially when it comes from him. I groaned and walked around to the other side and snuck on.

I moved his injured arm so it laid above mine, unable to get squashed, and pulled my phone out, "What do you want to watch?"

I got the show he requested on and felt my eyelids growing extremely heavy. The next thing I knew, I fell asleep to someone yelling, "Fuck you, Goatman!"

Something began to shake my body, over and over, "Todoroki?" someone called, but I couldn't fully process their words. The shaking started back up, rougher than previously, "Todoroki?" they called again. Slowly, I opened my eyes, blinking as I adjusted to the light brightening up the room. I turned my head left, then right, then left again, assessing the situation. Midoriya was sitting up beside me, and Bakugou was back in the room, and both of them had a portable IV line hooked up. Bakugou was the one who was shaking me, and Midoriya was the one who had been calling my name.

"Yeah?" I responded, groggy, but awake.

"Ugh, finally." Bakugou complained, "Almost thought you were dead for a sec. Recovery Girl came in while you were getting your 'beauty rest', so technically, I'm healed, but I'm to stay in this fucking joint for another 2 days!" Made sense, something could go wrong if he strained his body, we all know that Bakugou doesn't know the meaning of 'taking it easy'. He continued, "Got to say, for an 'emergency care' they certainly took their time!"

"Same goes for me, about having to stay for at least 2 more days. Although I do have to agree with Kacchan, but I understand why - they're super busy and it's mostly Recovery Girl doing all the emergency cases." Midoriya's bubbly voice chimed in from beside me, "The lady Recovery Girl told us about came in and worked on my arms while you were asleep. All the pieces are back in place, but until I can get a full healing I am to stay here and relax." Well that good. Midoriya suddenly flushed and started scratching at his cheek, "Uh, also…could you? Could you let me go now?"

Huh, what? I followed his gaze down and quickly found what he was talking about. My arm was secured tightly around his waist, keeping him in place. Embarrassed, I unwrapped my arm and returned it to my side, "Sorry! How long was I even out?" I questioned as I began to sit up, shaking any thoughts on how squishy his waist seemed to be. Propping myself up with my hands laid behind me.

"About 3 hours." Midoriya informed me, still clearly flustered, "Visiting is already over, but they made an exception for you. Since you weren't technically admitted you weren't considered a patient, but I asked them if you could stay. They agreed!" He's so thoughtful.

"Yeah right." Bakugou scoffed, then stated matter-of-factly, "He threatened to jump out the window and re-break his bones if they didn't allow you to stay, and maybe a few explosions helped them see the way too." He stated as he let off 2 tiny sparks.

I should have figured as much. "Thank you for that, both of you. I don't want to leave either of your side just yet."

"Kinda figured that out already, Icy-Hot," He moved back to his bed and sat down, "What the hell are we supposed to do now? Not like we have games or there's anything good on T.V, I've already checked."

I pushed myself off of Midoriya's bed and walked around to a stand with a lamp placed on it not that far away, one of them must've put my phone over then after I fell asleep. I powered it on and sighed when I checked the battery level, it was at 13%, there goes my plan of using that. Searching around I tried to locate my charger, I didn't bring a bag of stuff, nor a change of clothes. I was still in my dirty, blood-covered, hero costume. Wait a second. I searched through all my pockets, and felt my fingers wrap around the cord, yes.

Moving to the nearest outlet I plugged my phone in. I turned around to face Midoriya and Bakugou, "I'm gonna be right back, please don't die while I'm gone."

"Well, there goes all my fucking plans!"

I walked out of the room and searched for a nurse or doctor. There was one right up ahead, making my way over, I called for her attention, "Excuse me?"

She stopped whatever she was doing and faced me, "Yes? How may I help you?"

"Sorry, I was wondering if there was any sort of thing I could change into?" I asked politely, adding, "This costume isn't exactly pleasant to sleep in."

"Oh, certainly. Wait right here, I'll be right back." She quickly walked down the hall, and I waited until she came back.

'Did she get lost?' She was gone for like 5 minutes, it shouldn't take that long. I stayed patient, sure that she had something important that held her up - the hospital is pretty packed tonight.

When she did come back she shoved a set of hospital clothes in my arms and rushed down the hall, not even stopping to explain. I shrugged and found my way to a bathroom, removing my costume and replacing it with the clothing, then tucked my costume under my arm and made my way back to Midoriya and Bakugou's room.

"I'm back," I stated as I walked through the door, and slid it shut behind me. Luckily I didn't return to a destroyed room, and both of them were still alive, that's a miracle when it comes to those two.

"Took you fucking long enough," Bakugou said, "I thought you got lost or something."

"No, I did not." I threw my costume onto the floor near the chair and sat down, sighing. Placing my arm on the armrest I leaned to that side and rested my head in my hand, trying to relax. I'd better try to get comfy, this was going to be a long night. Oh what I wouldn't do for a blanket.

Not even five minutes after I sat down a nurse peeked her head in, "Midoriya, Bakugou, and Todoroki?" She stated.

Bakugou's gruff voice answered, "Yeah, what?"

"I'm here to let you know the lights will be turning off, but sometime during the night another nurse will be in to give you more meds."

"Thank you!" Midoriya cheered, and then she left.

Shortly after, the lights flickered off, leaving us with only the glow that peered through the windows. I flipped the lamp on, not planning on going to bed just yet, the less time I had to spend sleeping in that chair the better.

Midoriya and Bakugou were laying on their separate beds on their phones doing who knows what.

"Oh, Kacchan," Midoriya suddenly said, "I forgot to ask. Your Hero Name, it's a tribute to All Might, right?"

"Shut the fuck up," He threw his pillow full force at Midoriya's face. Midoriya threw it back and started laughing. Bakugou buried himself into the sheet, hiding his face as he muttered out, "Maybe."

'What am I going to do with these idiots?'

I relaxed back into my seat and smiled at the sight in front of me. The way that Midoriya's laughter filled the air, the way that you could only see the fluff of Bakugou's hair peeking out of his cover. This is all I've ever wanted.

I thought about grabbing my phone, but that seemed too difficult at the moment.

Midoriya had returned to his phone a little bit ago, now silent. He turned from his side to his back and lifted his head, "What'cha doing over there, Todoroki?"

Uhh. "Trying to sleep?" What else would I be doing, practicing my funeral?

"Like shit you're doing that."

"I assure you I am, Bakugou." Did they go blind?

"Get over here!" Midoriya sweetly demanded.

"Like hell he's doing that, you already had him. Fuck off, it's my turn now!" My head swished from Midoriya to Bakugou as they continued to argue.

(Well it had actually trickled down to Midoriya yelling 'No!' and Bakugou yelling 'Hell yes!' But still).

'What… what the hell is happening?'

"Get your ass over here before I explodo-kill your dumbass!"

Umm. Okay?

I stood up off my chair and hesitantly took a step forward. Then another one, and another, and another. All the way to Bakugou. "What do you need?"

"Sit your ass down!" I followed directions.

Midoriya shuffled over in the wheelchair, dragging his IV and blanket with him, and pouted before whining out, "No fair, I'm his actual friend."

Bakugou flipped him off, "All the more reason I should get him now, go away!"

I punched Bakugou's shoulder, "Stop that." Glancing at Midoriya I patted the space beside me, "There's space over here, Midoriya, you're welcome to sit down." He sat down.

"Hey, there's only room for 2 injured idiots on here!" I'd imagine he was referring to me and him, but...

"And there is, I'm not injured, Bakugou." Well, not entirely, not like they are.

He growled and punched us both, "I hate you."

"No you don't!" Midoriya cheered while narrowly avoiding an explosion.

This continued on for another 30 minutes until eventually, we were all worn out. It slowly turned into a yawn festival (Bakugou tried to turn it into a competition on who yawn the longest - tried) and my eyes were starting to feel heavy.

"How," Bakugou started, only to be stopped by another yawn, "How are all 3 of us gonna fit on this stupid ass bed?"

"Yeah. My arms feel like they're dying, and I don't think Kacchan would enjoy being elbowed in his wounds." I wouldn't enjoy that.

'Guess I could go back to my chair.' Sighing, I move to stand up, only to be pulled back down, "Where the fuck do you think you're going?"

"Back to my chair, you guys can have the bed, or go back to your separate ones. Then we can all have room."

"Fuck that!" 'eloquently put, Bakugou.'

"What do you suggest then?" I asked, tired and snarky.

"Fuck if I know, just lean back or something!" Does he mean, onto him? Ok, who is this, because this is not Bakugou? "Why are you both staring at me, stop it!"

"Sorry, Kacchan!" Midoriya replied, then quickly laid back, leaning against Bakugou's back. Surprisingly, he wasn't exploded. I followed suit, leaning against Midoriya's shoulder and Bakugou's back. Midoriya threw his blanket over the both of us and we settled down into the warmth provided.

"Don't you dare push me off," Bakugou warned.

"No promises!" Midoriya cheered back. Bakugou grumbled but ultimately didn't say anything in response.

Just before we fell asleep, I felt as if I had to get something off my chest. I shook both Midoriya and Bakugou to see if they were still awake, they both 'hm'd' and tiredly I told them, "I just wanted you to know that I like the both of you, a lot."

"Ugh, we already knew that Dumb-ass."

"Besides, we like you too!"
