Chapter ten:

Kaoru blinks as something comes to him. He remembers how Razzy said Echo before they came in, but then he is now referring her to Holly. He turns to the woman as Razzy looks busy analyzing the papers. "By they way I need to ask. It's just curiosity but is your name Holly or Echo?"

"I suppose you heard the name Echo and now it's Holly so you want to know why." Holly guesses in which Kaoru nods. "Well to be honest Echo is actually a nickname. I use it around here so most know me by that name. Holly is my real name and I don't mind it if people call me it. Just sometimes Echo is better. Depending on who is the one speaking to me." She does take breaks for air which Kaoru patiently lets her.

"Oh." Kaoru nods his head softly. "I see. So there's some who you want to refer to you as one name, then others another name."

"Mhm." Holly nods her head. "To the group it's Holly. To those here it's Echo." She confirms then offers a smile to Kaoru. "You can call me Holly if you want. Unless you think Echo sounds better." She pauses for air before resuming. "As long as you don't use Holly where the others, in this building, can hear you."

"Don't worry I'll be carful Holly." Kaoru assures her sharing a smile. He then turns to look to Razzy as does Holly.

"This could be troubling for our business." Razzy admits, his hands clutching the papers he's holding tightly. He feels like he didn't really need to add anything to the conversation the two had. He looks up from the papers to meet Hollys eyes. His slight glance to Kaoru indicating he can feel the others curios gaze. "They think that they can sneak competition by one of our stores? They thought wrong."

"We'll lose money if they use their cards right." Holly adds to this and Razzy puts the papers on her desk.

Razzy places a hand on his chin. "It won't be easy to take down the building they put up. If we go after them in the wrong way we could expose the hidden part of the store. That is if we're not careful." He glances to Kaoru. "Holly knows. We don't have everyone in the know of every detail here but she's in a higher position. She sometimes has to work with the other floors. The receptionist knows as well. I make sure no one will tell anyone if they know. Very careful about that."

At this Kaoru nods his head understanding this.

Razzy turns away to look at the desk in thought. His eyes narrow showing a little frustration within himself over this. "Give me some time. Keep your hard work up for now." He orders and gets to his feet as does Kaoru to follow him if he's leaving. "I'll let you know tomorrow what my plan is. If you don't hear from me after tomorrow then contact another group member. Just go normally for now." He leaves as does Kaoru in which the two go out of the building. He glances to the ginger haired male as they pause just outside of the building. "Kaoru?"

Kaoru turns to look to the groups leader who has a rather serious look on his face.

"There's something that I need to ask of you. We will give you a disguise but you need to go investigate this store. See what you can find out about it. Everything you can find out will help. Including their special products if they really are selling them."

Kaoru nods his head finding that within himself he is glad that he was chosen to do such an important sounding mission. "I won't let you down." He promises to his leader who smiles at this.

"I know you won't. Tomorrow night will be that operation. So be ready."

Kaoru makes it home and heads to the room he shares with his brother. He enters it seeing his brother already asleep in bed. He doesn't blame him as it is pretty late. He heads to the bathroom changing and washing up a little. He then joins his brother in bed laying on his side. He settles on his side and closes his eyes letting sleep take over him finding that he is tired.

The next day…

Kaoru can hardly focus on his classes, as his mind is a thousand miles away. He keeps thinking about the mission that he will be going into tonight. He glances to the clock in the classroom and feels like time has slowed down. He is excited about this mission though a little nervous. He knows that he is going to have to keep his identity a secret while on the mission… He could end up being killed or badly injured if he ends up caught. He turns to look back to the teacher before he is caught not actually paying attention. He supposes that he will have to do his best and hope that everything will end up going well.

After what felt like forever it is time for the host club to do their thing.

Hikaru is chatting up the girls that have chosen their table to sit at. He seems to be having a good time and making them happy as well.

Kaoru listens and only adds a few words here and there about something. He pays more attention here knowing that it is needed of him. He wonders what Hikaru has planned up his sleeve since the two of them haven't discussed what act to do. He is well aware that they have improvised on the spot more times than they can count, whether it be for something that happens or because they missed talking about what act to do for when it becomes host club time. So he doesn't feel nervous about it.

"You know." Hikaru turns to look to his brother meeting his eyes in which Kaoru tilts his head to the side in a cute manner of curiosity. "Kaoru you have been coming back from your walks a little later than I like. It makes me worry about you."

Kaoru can't help but wonder if this is Hikaru's way to genuinely tell him this or if it is all for their guests. He finds that his brother is giving a very convincing worried look if it is fake. He pushes those thoughts aside to quickly respond. "I'm sorry Hikaru." He glances away shifting as he gives a look of guilt. "I didn't mean to worry you."

"Kaoru…" Hikaru starts to lean closer as the girls watch in quiet anticipation. He places his hand gently upon his brothers cheek getting him to turn to him. He meets with Kaoru's eyes once more. "It's okay. I forgive you. I cant stand seeing you look like that." He adds sweetly and so Kaoru offers a smile to him. He lays his forehead against his brother as they close their eyes in sharing a sweet moment matter.

Kaoru changes his expression to look more happier. "I love you too Hikaru." He adds and knows it was a success as the girls squeal about what just happened.

The two pull apart and open their eyes. They let their eyes stay together a moment longer before turning to look to the girls at their table.

Kaoru finds his wonders of if Hikaru really is worried or if he just used it as an act, returning to his mind as they wait for the girls at their table to calm down.

AN:

Okay so there is two things I want to put here.

First: I wrote the first half on my phone just before bed. So hopefully I caught any auto corrects there.

Second: I am posting this early because I won't have time this weekend to post.
