9. Dumbledores office

Dear Harry and Hermione,

This is extremely concerning, not to mention that if it got out the Hermionie was adopted we would be huge targets, have you told anyone about it?

I'm afraid it's not our decision wether or not you stay at school. Since Professor Dumbledore is head of the Order and our secret keeper we will allow him to make the decision. The issue is that since this is a school it's illegal to memory wipe the students without parent consent, and parent consent would mean telling more people what happened.

We will just have to trust that Dumbledore will make the right decision. Also I want you to come home for Christmas, so if you want to invite one friend you can, but please let us know who they are before you tell them about everything that's going on. (Keep in mind that Rowan, Sadie and Landon have already been invited.)

After receiving this letter me and Harry decided that we will invite Ron as he has finally stopped hating me. But our peace and calm did not last. The next day Harry comes up to me and says "Mionie?" "Hm?" "So um well your not going to like this but hear it goes, I told Ron," "Oh I already know that, you told that whole class in front of me our last name remember?" I responded "Oh yes well you see I told him the other thing too," this got my attention. I jerked my head up and said "YOU DID WHAT?" "Calm down. I owled Mum and Dad about us picking Ron like you said and they told me I could tell him," I took a deep breath, "Okay as long as they said it's fine," I went back to reading my book but Harry was still standing there, "They also said to go to Dumbledores office at 5... password is Lemon Drop," he blurted out and before I could respond he had scurried away.

I walked into Dumbledores office at exactly five o'clock to see my parents sitting at his desk along with him, "Mum! Dad!" I exclaimed "Hello sweetheart," my mother said while we hugged. Once I sat down Harry ran in the doors, once he had calmed as well Dumbledore started speaking "I got your letter, and I think we need to consult the order about this matter, as the Lupins have pretty much made it clear that they are on your side, Rowan, Hermionie, and Harry's are all in danger," my parents nodded slowly, "While we wait I think you 3 should go home early for Christmas," seeing our scandalized faces he added, "And you may still invite Mr. Weasley along with the rest of them if you'd like, you can invite pretty much anyone who's in the order but I'm going to ask that you don't invite anyone else," He finished "Well, why don't we invite the whole order! We can stay at Potter Mannor!" My Dad exclaimed. "Wonderful! I will owl everyone and let them know, you may be getting guests as soon as tonight!" Dumbledore said, and with that we went home.
