I got bored. Here's a new story.
Zane's POV
"How are you not freezing?" Jay grunted through chattering teeth as he pulled on his ice skates.
"Jay, we've been through this conversation millions of times!" Kai rolled his eyes. "He's a nindroid, and he's the Master of Ice!"
"I know!" Jay said. "You didn't have to answer it." I sighed softly and stepped onto the ice. My friends were wearing thick coats and hats and scarfs, and I was wearing a white sweater.
"Why did we let you talk us into this?" Cole moaned as he gingerly placed a foot on the ice.
"I simply asked you if you wanted to ice skate," I shrugged. "I did not persuade you to join me." Kai, Jay, and Cole harrumphed. A cold breeze swept past me, and I froze. I tilted my head to one side.
"Zane?" Jay called. "You okay?" I shook my head slightly.
"I am fine," I agreed as I continued to skate. The cold breeze blew by again, and I glanced around the woods. Something scurried from behind a tree to another. I gave a small shrug and continued on. I heard something, and I turned to my friends. Cole was standing on thin ice, cracks starting to form underneath him, weakening the ice. I hurried towards him, as he did not know he was in danger. I pushed him out of the way, just as the ice gave away.
?'s POV
I let the wind carry me, drifting aimlessly through the air, when I heard a voice. "I simply asked you if you wanted to ice skate," it said. "I did not persuade you to join me." I looked down. There were four people, three wearing heavy coats, hats, and scarfs, the other, which to my surprise, was silver, wore a white sweater. I floated down and hid behind the trees. The silver one must've felt Wind, as he stopped and tilted his head.
"Zane?" one of the other people yelled from across the lake. "You okay?"
"I am fine," the silver one, Zane, said. He continued. I whispered to Wind, asking her to go to the other side of the lake. She blew by, and Zane turned my direction just as I ran to hide behind another tree. He shrugged and continued to skate. I heard the sound of ice cracking, and Zane turned his head. He rushed over to one of his friends who was standing on thin ice, and pushed him out of the way as the ice broke, and he sank underwater. This is similar to how I died I thought. Too similar. I ran out of the shadows and dove into the water, hoping to save him.
"Zane?" his friends called worriedly from above. I found him near the ground, eyes wide, and bubbles streaming from his mouth. I grabbed him and dragged him to the surface. "Zane!" his friends yelped as they scrambled towards him. Of course I thought as I rolled my eyes. They can't see me unless they believe in me. Zane coughed and sputtered and sat up.
"You're alright!" one of his friends said as he pulled his hood off, revealing spiky, disheveled brown hair.
"Of course I'm alright," Zane said. His eyes landed on me. "Who are you?" His friends followed his gaze as my mouth dropped open in shock.
"You can see me?" I asked in disbelief.
"Of course I can see you," Zane said, a bit puzzled. "Can-"
"Zane," Spiky said. "No one's there."
"But he is right behind you, Kai," Zane insisted.
"They can't see me," I explained. "Not unless they believe in me."
"Who are you?" Zane repeated.
"I'm Jack Frost," I said as Wind picked me up. "Guardian of Fun, spirit of winter." I flew away, wondering. He could see me, but he didn't know me...
