"Do You Really Hide Needles Down There?"
An Illumi and Hisoka fan fiction.
Summary: Hisoka and Illumi meeting for the first time.
Honestly I saw this art and I thought why not make a story out of it. Just for fun
The little boy wandered into the streets late at night. Bare footed as he was, he looked like he hadn't eaten in days. His hair was pinkish and covered his golden eyes. He was very dirty and nobody, who crossed the streets, even glanced at him. His feet were covered in blisters and cuts like he had been walking for a long time and for now he was at his limit. He went towards an alley way that looked somewhat empty. A cold breeze blew and cut through his skin. Shivering in just a tank top and shorts, he didn't have much of a choice but to just bear it through. He sat down behind one of the dumpsters. He wasn't planning to go to sleep as he knew better what could happen if he slept unguarded. His teeth chattered in the cold December winds. But sleep was a more powerful drug that happened to be his only savior from the cold. He decided he would just take a short nap as he was sure no one would find him behind the dumpster.
He was drifting into sleep when he heard some noise. Footsteps! The boy was suddenly on guard, his golden eyes gleaming with a tint of red around them. He had already erased his presence but he doubted it would be of any help. As footsteps came closer he got prepared to attack anyone that was there. Suddenly he heard another person's footsteps. His heart panicked. He could handle one person but two and in his state? He would die. He didn't move an each from where he was dare they noticed him. Suddenly one of them spoke. "Please just give me more time and I promise you that the amount would be transferred into the bank account with interest. I just need more time." Judging from the voice, the boy assumed he was a man in his late thirties. The other person didn't say anything. "Please I'm begging you! I'll do anything just please give me some time. I…I don't want to die!" The man broke down sobbing as he kept on begging for his life but the boy assumed the other person had already made up their mind about it. Suddenly he heard something sharp cut through the wind and with a ting hit its target following a thud of the body hitting the floor.
The boy decided to move to see who it was. He saw the man lying on the road, his eyes open and full of fear but he was already gone. A single needle had pierced through his forehead and into his skull. The golden eyes moved swiftly towards the person who caused all this. To his surprise he saw a beautiful little girl not much older than himself or maybe even younger, standing in a dark purplish kimono. Her dark hair was long and flowed in the wind giving her a dream like aura around her. But then he saw her eyes. They were big and dark. It was like staring into darkness. They were filled with hate and malice, having no trace of innocence in them. With a swift motion she was standing right behind him. He didn't even have the time to react and he knew if he did now then he'll be the second corpse in the alley. He gave her a side glance and saw those dark eyes looking at him intently. The air around her smelled of white roses and dried blood. A little smile played on his lips.
"Are you with him?" The first words she had spoken throughout the night. "And what if I am?" He kept staring at her, looking beyond those eyes that hid so much that wasn't spoken about or was forbidden to speak about. "Then I have no choice but to kill you." Her face was expressionless and her voice showed no remorse of what she did mere minutes ago. "I'd like to see you try." At the exact moment he saw her move slightly to which he moved back, dodging the needle that caused the man's death. "I am not interested in what your business was with that man but I just got to this town so it's not possible for me to know him." She stared at him as if not believing a word he said. "Who are you?" She asked. He licked his chapped lips and gave a slight smile. "I am nobody and shouldn't I be the one asking you that what a girl is doing here in the middle of the night." Her eyes twitched slightly. "I am a boy." Well my calculations were wrong about her….. him. The boy thought. "Then why are you wearing a kimono?" He asked not expecting an answer. "Because my mother likes it." The answer intrigued the pink haired boy. He was about to say something else when suddenly his vision got blurry and he began to see double. He tried to move but failed to do so. The wind became much stronger and he realized he was falling. Before he could catch himself, he came crashing down into the pitch black darkness.
He woke up with the metallic taste of blood in his mouth. Feeling something warm under his head he looked up and saw long dark strands of hair of his face. He saw those familiar dark eyes and soon realized where he was. "What are you doing?" The boy asked groggily not ready to get up from the kimono boy's lap.
"I believe I couldn't just let you go after what you saw."
"So you put my head on your lap and waited for me to wake up?"
"I put needles in you to restrict your movement. Anyway, you….. looked…..cold."
"You're pretty for a boy. What's your name?" The boy smirked.
"….Illumi. What about you?"
"Even your name is pretty. You can call me Hisoka." His said as his golden eyes stared into those black eyes.
"Hi..soka." Illumi was lost in thought for a moment while Hisoka started to wiggle to revive movement in his limbs. "It's no use. I have enough needles to kill you If you don't stop moving."
"Ohh? And where do you hide those needles?"
"As required. If I don't have extra space for them then I just improvise."
"Pfft! So do you really hide needles down there or are you just messing with me?"
"Please shut up."
