night swept through the area calmly almost eerily but the group got a well deserved rest. Soon sunlight poured in from the window as the sound of a door opening up nearby could be heard and footsteps as well.
Ceri woke up hearing the sounds, as she rose up, shaking out her joints a bit, and propped open the door to the room, after getting up as she peeked her head out to see who it was.
walking across the room on the other side was Avel who headed outside calmly closing the door behind him.
She blinked, but made her way out, quietly as she could, as she followed , curious of it.
he sat calmly at the stables near the horses and thought on things a bit. He muttered to himself as he did Avel: I lasted a lot longer than i did before.. still from here we have to go there.. there really isnt a choice..
She looked to him, listening a bit as she approached quietly. Feeling a little guilty and rude for spying, she spoke up softly to let him know she was there. "Avel..?"
he blinked and looked around then noticed her and sighed Avel: ah... oh its you.. hello Ceri, i didnt wake you did I?
She nodded. "A little, but it's okay.. It seems like there's something on your mind? Sorry, if you wanted to have some alone time.."
Avel shook his head Avel: theres not much on my mind.. well thats a lie theres a lot on my mind.. for one thing I want to put an end to the Thieves Guild along with Lamorak. To do this.. we will need to gather more information while destroying their operations everywhere.. youd be surprised to know that the best place to find information these days for us is Gallia.. but as you know im not well liked by the people there..
Ceri blinked. "I.. don't know how much help it would be.. but I could try reaching out there..I did spend some time there in the past. If I knew what kind of information you'd want to know of.."
Avel nodded Avel: that might work out. Honestly im looking for three leads. I want to know what happened to Ashnard's armor and sword for one, and im looking for Lehran's medallion. Lastly I need to locate the supplier of the Laguz Elixer. I know a small clue where to find the last one but im stumped on the other two..
Ceri nodded. "I can see if they'd be willing to tell us anything, at the least. Or point to who might.."
Avel nodded Avel: hm that would help alot.. but now still we need to go to Gallia.. mostly we need to find out more about Ranulf. The laguz warrior that fought with Ike.
Ceri blinked. "Ah.. well.. they think you killed Ranulf.. though honestly, according to the laguz who told anna, he was found in that forest as well..though they didn't give much details on the death itself.."
Avel shook his head Avel: I didnt even fight the guy. I know he was there that night though... but he left some time beforehand.. no. im sure that Ike pushed him away.. the two of them were talking about "Lehran's Medallion being the only thing that can stop this" but i have no idea what they meant by that.
Ceri nodded. "That might be handy to get them to be more willing to talk about things, especially since he was really close advisor to their kings." She pointed out. "They might be more open, if they knew you had no part in killing him...at least.."
Avel nodded Avel: ive tried to speak to them truly.. but Skrimir.. their king.. he wants to kill me no matter what.. I know for a fact though that Caineghis knows more than hes saying.. i just.. i need some time to speak to him.. if i can talk to him then ill get more clues on all this..
She nodded. "I have one idea for that.. It.. It might be possible for me to ask for at least one chance to speak with an elder on your behalf, or at least for them to hear us out. I was adopted as a daughter of the laguz I mentioned before, so I could invoke or try, at least to ask for an audience as a daughter of Gallia.."
he blinked Avel: wait.. really?... that actually...
a voice called out to them ?: there may not be any other choice boss.. Hawk walked over to them calmly Hawk: we need to leave.. pronto..
Ceri blinked, looking to him. "What's going on?"
Avel nodded as Hawk growled a bit Hawk: ...that little incident caused a huge uproar.. we have lots of people looking for us.. mostly Cassie.. but more than that theres a squad of Hawks and Crows looking for us.
Ceri shivered. "Oh.. and they can spot us from above pretty easily.. and Crows are great at figuring out information too for some reason..."
Avel nodded Avel: Hawks and Crows together make a dangerous group.. strange though.. I havent heard of them leaving the Serenes forest recently like this..
Hawk nodded Hawk: im afraid we wont be safe anywhere where Beorc are. Were most likely going to be the safest in Laguz territories.
Avel blinked Avel: why would you say that?
Hawk nodded Hawk: theres a non agression act in only the Beorc territories going on for one.. also their all more likely to hand us over due in part of their alliance. It has taken some time to generate trust between beorc and Laguz after all.
Avel growled Avel: so they would sell us out for peace then?.. not like i wouldnt do the same but.. it sucks to be on this side!
Hawk nodded Hawk: do you have a plan then boss?
Avel nodded Avel: yeah.. but were not gonna like it.. gather everyone up in the planning hall.
Hawk nodded and headed off.
Avel looked to Ceri. Avel: you might be the only one who can change us getting ripped to shreds or being welcomed.
Ceri gave a small nod. "I'll try everything I can to keep you all safe.."
Avel smirked and patted her head Avel: you'll do great! he stood up and headed off to the meeting room.
She followed after him towards the room, but shivered a bit, nervous.
once everyone had gathered Avel began to speak to them Avel: alright everyone.. looks like we have Laguz Hawks and Crows looking for us.. so were headed to Gallia.
Clare blinked Clare: what?! isnt that like.. the first place they'd look? how are we sure we wouldnt get minced going into the great forest?
Avel shook his head Avel: for one even if they did look for us there, they wouldnt be able to touch us. Ive heard Skrimir is very serious about guarding his borders.. more than that, lately the Beast Laguz have been on a rampage in this peace.. thankfully i know a place that skirts around most of the great forest.
Cassie blinked and nodded Cassie: A dead mans housing... oh boy..
Avel shook his head Avel: dont think of it like that! .. im sure im not the only one to use that place.
Mao shivered Mao: h-how are we going to convince them were not enemies?

Just by judging on her reactions when i met her at the palace, shes most likely to maul me if i were alone or we were just going toward them like an idiot.. however if we are under attack by angry hawks and crows.. thats a different story! she has honor like every other laguz.. maybe even a bit more. We can use that to request an audience at least.

Cassie shivered as Mao wimpered hearing the name Avel: alright then. Let's not waste any time. Junia, your in charge on this one. Grab the old fort map in the room and take any carriage you need. Get these guys there.
she nodded Junia: understood.
Avel looked to the others Avel: dont worry, but just in case something does happen get to the capital of Gallia top speed. I expect that from you especially Flynn.
Flynn nodded Flynn: of course boss. Me and Boltson will be ready.
Avel looked to Cassie Avel: when she wakes up, tell Julia the plan. Shes going with you guys okay?
Cassie nodded Cassie: of course, i'll protect her with my life.
Avel blinked Avel: oh right.. Vaiya grab the emblem from the supply room too. Hang them on the carriages. That will make sure the Gallians will come to us at least to check things out.
She set down a small patch of leather Vaiya: already done, ill stick them where even the bird tribes can see them.
Avel nodded Avel: its not really well known but, a lot of Nobles and diplomats use the crest of Gallia to travel under in order not to be attacked. MAYBE it will be useful this time for us.
Junia looked to him Junia: Boss.. you plan to go straight to Zarzi right? I suppose you would.. be careful in the capital.

Junia nodded with a smile as she stood up and began to prepare. The others did the same leaving the room. Avel stood up and looked to Hawk, and Ceri Avel: we'll be the first off.. so prepare, eat a meal or something then get to the carriage.

He headed off with a grin as Avel closed his eyes Avel: Hawwk...

Avel nodded Avel: yeah.. their worth one in a million each of them. Thats why i wont let them die and ill have their backs for the rest of their lives. Still if you think hes bad, Mink is on a whole new level, i dont know if its because she is a Hatarian or the fact she has chosen me to be her ahem... partner in crime. he headed out of the room
She headed out of the room, making her way outside as she took a moment to stretch a little while the rest got ready.
the groups moved around in and out of the building carrying everything from supplies, weapons and even a sleeping Julia. Once they finished their preperations everyone sat at the table to eat a small meal prepared by Junia. She laid down two plates of food on the table for Ceri and Avel Junia: be sure to eat first!
Ceri sat down with the rest, eating quickly but quietly with a nod. "Thank you."
the others ate quickly as they began to start off outside. Avel was outside and readied Bank to the carriage. He gave a disgruntled snort and kicked up dirt annoyed at it but Avel patted him a bit Avel: dont worry Bank, it wont be on for long.
Ceri made her way outside as well.
Avel looked to a map Avel: from where we are, Gebal Castle is southwest.. but were going straight down into the western sea of trees. Among that spot its heavily guarded. he popped open a scentless vial and wiped it on his arm and now the hunt begins..
She blinked. "The hunt?"
Avel smirked Avel: dont worry about it. are you ready? he hopped in the carriage
She climbed up on the carriage with a nod. "Alright. And, yes."
Hawk nodded looking to them in the back of the carriage Hawk: im ready to go,
Avel blinked Avel: yah how long have you... right.. lets get going. he tugged the reins as Bank refused to move. Avel blinked Bank?... oh boy.. i told you it would be okay.. why not?.. the horse snorted ...yeah i get that.. but.. it shook his head listen you!... augh i cant stay mad at you.. but we dont have time to change the plan.. please?
Ceri blinked, but looked to Bank. "If you help us with this.. I'll make sure to buy you some apples when I can, give your tack a proper clean, and give you a brush down, if you'd like?"
the horse snorted clearing dirt from its hooves then started off. Avel nodded Avel: right... alright i'll remember that one..
Flynn waved to the group as the others watched from the second carriage Flynn: good luck boss.
Avel waved Avel: just keep with things.. lets get some distance. he tugged a bit as Bank started off faster down a path leading towards Gallia. In no time soon they were far from the hideout. Some time later though the sun was high in the sky as they kept watch. Avel growled a bit Avel.. they should be here.. Hawk, see anything?
he looked out the carriage to the skies but covered his face from the sun Hawk: hard to see.. the suns in sky right now.
Avel growled Avel: I don't like this...
Ceri gave a nod. "Maybe watch the ground for shadows? If they are hiding their presence, it's going to be the only sort of warning we'll get.."
Avel nodded Avel: crap.. I forgot about that.. good idea..
Hawk looked to the ground and blinked wide eyed Hawk: B-Boss... theres a ton of them!... over there! he pointed to the skies as a flock of giant birds flew over head
Avel blinked Avel: how did we... gah! incoming! a crow dived down at them with its claws out and gripped the top of the carriage to pull it up. Hawk quickly slashed through the top as crow yelped and pulled away at the last moment. Bank started going faster soon nearly losing the others as the forest started to come into view. The birds didnt give up though and started to dive down one by one swooshing by to knock the carriage over. Avel growled Avel: almost there.. almost there.
Suddenly a black winged brown headed hawk dived down and screeched in front of the carriage. Bank pulled up turning to the side nearly hitting the hawk with the carriage as it soon flipped over sliding far from the hawk. The bird flew upwards as Avel groaned getting up. Hawk moved to Ceri holding out his hand to help her out of the carriage Avel: d..damn they flipped us.. Avel moved to cut the reins letting Bank flee off into the distance
Ceri took his hand, quickly climbing out as she stood up.
Avel put on a robe with the crest of gallia on it and headed toward the forest Avel: come on! everyone follow me!
Hawk nodded and started off as the birds raced passed them diving at Avel who avoided their talons quickly. Five more dived down at him but he dodged their attacks easily. Hawk smiled Hawk: Amazing commander... ahh.. it must be from fighting the bird tribe on the front lines that you...

Ceri hurried to catch up to the other two, running after them.
Avel huffed a bit as the birds soon closed in but suddenly in front of them a group of five laguz rushed toward them rapidly. He blinked Avel: ...oh boy.. duck now! he ducked as Hawk did the same. Ceri ducked as well.
the cat laguz jumped up catching the hawks by surprise and knocked them back, kicking them with their legs and sending them off balanced as a group of them crashed to the ground. They soon recovered though and flew back up. Avel looked as the cats landed carefully and snarled at the hawks that floated above everyone. One cat laguz transformed as she hissed and pointed to them Lethe: hey you idiots! get out of here! your too close to Gallia and attacking those who wear our crest!
the black colored hawk floated down and reverted floating as he flapped his wings and gave her a sneer ?: Ignorant cat tribes! these thugs are the ones we have been tracking! dont try to steal them from us!
Lethe huffed and roared to him as he screeched. He turned away and shook his head* ?: forget this!... let's return to Crimea and get permission... stupid cat.. he transformed and with his group flew off into the distance.
Avel sighed a bit but shivered as Lethe turned to them with her warriors surrounding them Lethe: now your gonna tell me who the heck...aguh.. peh.. peh! EWWW! she wiped her nose as the other laguz suddenly did the same. She held it and snarled ...what.. is that... STENCH!...
Avel looked to her and smiled a bit raising his arm as she gasped wide eyed to him Avel: Hatorian fly cactus plant smell! I know a friend of mine who loves it.
She growled holding her nose and pointed toward him in a fury Lethe: YOUUUUUU!
the laguz hissed but were still unfocused due to the smell. Avel shook his head holding up his hands as she transformed and crouched to pounce at him putting her claws out as she did Avel: hold on! I want an audience!
She shook her head Lethe: you can have one, with my claws! ill bring your corpse to the capital and hang it on the streets!
Ceri spoke up, getting between the two quickly. "I'm the one requesting it... on his behalf! As a daughter and member of Gallia..!" She held her hands up, towards Lethe.
She blinked then shook her head Lethe: Gallia has no daughters like you! and if they did, they wouldn't be hanging around an honor less murderer! She rushed forward diving down at Avel Lethe: nows your turn to die for our fallen comrades!
Ceri tackled her by jumping up at her. "He didn't kill Ranulf!"
Lethe roared out and kicked her off pushing away from her Lethe: This doesnt concern you! she looked to her comrades as they surrounded Hawk and Ceri. ill give you your audience right after im done tearing this one to pieces! she once again dived but was knocked away by a shadow and sent flying as she slid across the grass then stood up shaking off the hit in surprise. The other cats were knocked away in a blur as they were pushed and rolled to the side of her knocked out. She gasped and looked seeing a wolf in front of Avel growling to her ..wh-what the? Q-Queen Nailah?! no... your not... wh-who are you!?
Avel blinked and shook his head Avel: M-Mink?! ...geez... your fast..
Mink transformed and looked to him carefully grabbing his arm and smelled it then shivered in delight Mink: ...smells so good! ah it reminds me of home!
Avel nodded surprised Avel: u-um... Mink?...
She shook her head and growled Mink: H-HOW COULD YOU LEAVE ME ALOOOOONE! WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU BOSS?!

Ceri blinked, looking at them quietly in wonder.

Mink transformed and shoved away Avel as she avoided the attack. Lethe swiped rapidly at her as she backed up facing her and watching her flail. Not one attack landed on Mink and soon Lethe grew tired reverting and kneeling Lethe: hah... hah... nothing is working... why...
Mink reverted and shook her head Mink: your attacks feel like a gentle breeze of wind compared to the Queens.. is this the best you got? why are you even wasting my time little cat girl!
She snarled and pointed to Mink Lethe: d-dont call me little! ill tear your throat out!
She sighed Mink: you can't! you don't even have enough energy to transform.
Lethe huffed then looked to the other cats Lethe: d-do something!
they moved forward but Mink roared out a vicious howl shaking the air with a reddish wave of energy from her mouth. The laguz instantly transformed and kneeled in fear. Lethe looked to her wide eyed Lethe: t-the howl of a Laguz King!
Mink shook her head Mink: stupid patrol! how dare you attack my precious Avel! DO you have any idea who this is?! nay, who he is destined to be?!
Avel blinked and waved his hands Avel: d-don't say anything!
Mink smirked and laughed Mink: you wont dare hurt the future king of the Hatari! he's mine!
Avel groaned and sighed Avel: aaannd here we go...
Ceri stared at them. "Huh?!"
Lethe blinked Lethe: y-your kidding right?! what... in the...

Mink sighed and blinked sniffing around Mink: wait... boss? she glared to Ceri WHO THE HECK IS SHE!? HMM?!

Mink rushed to her and growled sniffing her Mink: she doesnt smell right! she also has your scent on her... WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN UP TO?!

Lethe blinked completely confused Lethe: ...what the heck kind of situation did i run into now?...
Ceri looked to her in surprise. "Uh... Hi.. and what the heck? It's not like that, I helped him out a few times. That's all!"
She huffed staring to Ceri with a glare Mink: you better keep back, I mean it sister! play with a wolves mate and eat you for dinner! got it!? she gave a low growl but Avel pulled her tail and pulled her away yahh!

She blinked and shook her head Mink: ah.. boss! ...wait what happened again?
Ceri stared at her , dumbfounded. "Seriously.."
Avel rolled his eyes then looked to Lethe Avel: oh by the... you! Laguz warrior! get us to the capital please!
Lethe nodded annoyed Lethe: anything to end this... come on everyone! escort them into the forest! she reverted and started of ahead of them as the others did the same follow me!
Hawk followed with the group as Mink followed closely hanging on to Avel who pushed her off but she would keep trying again.
Ceri followed after the others, shaking her head a little.
the group finally made it into the forest being watched overhead unknowingly by hawks. Once they were in the humidity settled on them as they were lead down a pathway into the forest. Lethe snarled a bit mumbling in annoyance and anger the whole way. Avel dropped back a bit next to Hawk and Ceri and calmly spoke to them quietly Avel: ...were finally heading to the king.. but as things are now.. im not really sure we can relax. Keep your guard up.
Ceri nodded. "I understand."
Hawk nodded Hawk: yes, sir.
Avel groaned as Mink grabbed his arm Avel: you too Mink, keep an eye out for us please.. hey! focus.
She nodded Mink: I will.. but i have sooo many questions.. for goddess sake captain.. its been years... so many years since i've seen you!
Avel shook his head Avel: three years Mink.. relax.. ive heard its not that long to Laguz who live long as you.

Avel blinked looking around into the forest Avel: s-sixty?.. I can't see them..
She nodded Mink: I can smell them.. this stinky forest doesnt stop me from sensing any of them.. theres now seventy five.. are they all after you boss? so much anger.
Avel nodded Avel: I wouldnt be surprised.. but at the same time the Gallians have been very antsy and practically itching fight something.
Mink nodded Mink: I know right? theirs so much chaos in the air.. if one even tooted i think theyd tear him to pieces.
Lethe huffed as Avel shook his head Avel: be mindful Mink.
Mink sighed and looked to Lethe Mink: how long is this going to be? this humidity is not even enough to dry my hair.
Lethe snarled Lethe: ...y-you... she sighed we're almost to a checkpoint, then i'll have my troops alert the king.. he will most likely come for you all. I am sure he will have a good time "talking" to that murderer there!
Avel blinked Avel: o...oh man.. the king?! THE king!? ...I kinda didn't plan for this..
Lethe shook her head Lethe: and for your information! Gallia is facing a bit of a problem right now with invaders! We dont need anyone who cant come to us through the right channels to barge in and cause chaos!
Mink smiled Mink: good to know not all of you have lost yourselves to your animal instinct.
Lethe snarled as hisses were heard around the group from many laguz trailing them Lethe: keep talking! ill be sure to bite off your tounge!
Ceri shook her head. "They have honor , Mink, and are actually very kind and proud.. you're also insulting.."
Lethe seemed to sigh a bit as Mink nodded Mink: I get it.. I know how to act polite too.. its not that I belittle them because i think they are not, I just know it doesn't take a FREAKING PRIDE OF LAGUZ to handle all of us.
Lethe gave a quick nod as the laguz slowly backed off and dissapeared. She stopped ahead as a cat waited by a split in the forest. She turned to them Lethe: I just want to get this over with. I have a lot to do, and if one of them isnt revenge its to find out who is killing my people. I dont have time to waste on the likes of all of you!
Ceri looked to her. "Killing..?"
Lethe looked to the cat as he reverted Lethe: is the king in a rational mood?
he thought a bit then shook his head ?: I think so... right now he is coming straight toward this group.. really fast.
Lethe shivered a bit Lethe: that... thats not good.. hes mad.. he may tear us all apart...
Avel shivered a bit Avel: ...crap!... are you serious!?
Mink looked to Avel with a smile Mink: dont worry! ill protect you or die trying boss! the rest of the group can be your shield to slow him down.
Avel blinked Avel: really whats wrong with you Mink?!
Hawk shook his head Hawk: i've learned to expect this from her.
the cat laguz waved to lethe Cat: Its alright, Elder Caineghis is with him. He will not act on instinct.. just please.. don't look him in the eyes.
a huge roar came out as a pair of red lions hopped out of the forest and landed on the ground with a heavy shake. They kept their distance and snarled to the group as Lethe calmly made her way over to them.
Avel shivered a bit feeling the blood lust in the air Avel: ...geez...
Ceri stiffened at their roar, waiting quietly.
Hawk shivered and held onto his blade Hawk: ...my hands are shaking.. this is incredible..
Mink smiled Mink: between the two of them... we can beat the new king.. if we get him fired up enough..
Avel shook his head Avel: stay calm, everyone.
the two lions reverted as both started towards the group. Laguz surrounded the area watching on as Skrimir and Caineghis stood in front towering over the group. Lethe stood to the side as the two of them stared with a hard glare to Avel. Caineghis spoke first Caineghis: is there a reason you have invaded these lands child?
Avel nodded Avel: several.. but i'm sure you don't want to hear it all.
Skrimir gripped his fist and glared to Avel Skrimir: id rather hear your bones cracking in my jaws, little nameless one.
Avel closed his eyes Avel: if i wanted to fight, I promise you.. one of you would die.. the laguz roared and hissed as Caineghis and Skrimir stared off to him. Avel didn't back down now looking with an intense glare to them both Avel: if you call me Nameless one ever again.. I will do to you what I did to a "Comrade of yours," got it?
Caineghis shook his head Caineghis: I am not here to puff chests with you, I want to know how and why you did it.
Skrimir growled Skrimir: make it fast.. my people will not hold back much longer to have you for their next meal.
Avel nodded Avel: you want to know why? Because Ike killed someone important to me... ask for the how...
Caineghis stared calmly as Avel looked to the others Avel: everyone back up a bit.. it looks like i can hide this no longer..
Ceri nodded and backed up as he asked.
Hawk did the same as Mink backed away. Avel sighed and glowed with a blue aura suddenly transforming. A full set of black armor wrapped around him as a sword appeared in his hands. Lethe shivered backing up as the laguz all around seemed to deafen and quietly watch both with a bit of a cower and rage at the figure before them. Skrimir's anger intensified as he stared to the armored figure while Caineghis blinked surprised. Avel looked to them calmly Avel: my brother.. Zelgius.. his memories and part of his spirit seem to have become part of me...
Lethe growled Lethe: h-how is this possible!?
Hawk blinked Hawk: b-boss.. but.. what is this?
Mink shook her head Mink: the legendary Black Knight...
Skrimir looked to Caineghis Skrimir: Uncle! what is this?! how is this possible?! the Black Knight lives again in this... this being?!
Ceri looked to them, wondering what they would do.
Caineghis shook his head Caineghis: I dont think anyone in our kingdom can explain this.. however, a few others may know the reason. If you struck down Ike with this power then you are truly the brother of Zelgius.
Avel reverted to his original form and closed his eyes Avel: I intend to find out about this myself, all I need from you is a favor.
Skrimir hissed growling in his voice Skrimir: a favor?! you come to my lands with no permission and ask me for a favor!? foolish creature! I shall give you nothing!
Avel nodded Avel: I thought as much.. it was worth a try..
Caineghis looked to Ceri Caineghis: wait Skrimir.. that girl... she is of Gallia.
Lethe blinked Lethe: hehhh?! are you sure Elder?
Skrimir blinked Skrimir: a human? like Ike?
Ceri bowed to the elder and the king. "Yes... Elder, I am very thankful to have been raised here for a time.. "
Caineghis moved to her and calmly spoke Caineghis: if you dont mind my asking, who was it that raised you?
Ceri stood up with a small nod. "It was Kraven.."
Caineghis blinked Caineghis: ...Kraven?! this is...
Skrimir blinked Skrimir: K-Kraven?! my childhood friend?!
Caienghis nodded Caineghis: i am amazed that Kraven would take you in.. his position in Gallia was not one that could afford this at the time.. if it hadnt been for that incident that wounded him, he would have been a fine king.
Skrimir shivered and gripped his fist tightly Skrimir: Kraven... if only he had been here during the final stages of the war... blast.. we would have won it easily.
Avel looked a bit to the group Avel: um.. do you mind filling me in a bit more on this? who was he to Gallia?
Caineghis nodded Caineghis: a very very long time ago, Kraven was the leader of nearly every laguz in Gallia, he held as much power as the first king Soan once did but gave it away to live a smaller life to himself. He taught many who came to him how to fight, including Ranulf and Skrimir but he was not easily welcomed due to his views on beorc. At the time, no beorc could even approach Gallia without being turned away or killed on the spot. I had heard he stayed near the ocean in a small home near the outskirts of Gallia and passed on peacefully.. still what happened to the man after he left the capital in such a rage is beyond many of us. Rumors did say he had a daughter.. but to think it was you..
Skrimir shook his head closing his eyes Skrimir: Kraven taught me many things! Ranulf as well! We did not like his ways with Beorc however and left him for naught... if only we could have met him one last time...
Lethe looked stunned Lethe: I cant believe what my ears are hearing... this is..
Ceri stared at Caineghis, stiffening at the news he had passed on, as her eyes filled with tears. "I.. didn't know what had happened to him... But he raised me for years, after my idiot of a merchant father sold me off.. He was very kind to me.. and when the wars broke out, I ended up being brought to Crimea for a while by him.. " Her voice faded off for a moment, as she explained a bit, feeling upset.
Caineghis nodded Caineghis: he must have thought it too dangerous to keep you with him at the time.. with resentment growing for beorc, it would be only a matter of time before some laguz would try to kill you. Still he left behind something at his home along the shores.. I was unsure what to make of it so I hid it away for safe keeping in the capital.
Skrimir looked to him Skrimir: Uncle! we must take her to the capital!
Caineghis nodded Caineghis: yes, however the rest of you must stay here. There is a castle not far from here that you may go to.
Avel nodded Avel: its already occupied by my people.
Skrimir growled Skrimir: you foolish...
Avel shook his head Avel: they are harmless to you oh great king but if anything happens to them.. i will give Gallia the bloodbath its waiting for.
Mink nodded Mink: and Hatari will add to that.
Caineghis nodded Caineghis: hmm.. to have the Queen of Hatari's sister at your side as well... you are very dangerous.
Skrimir blinked Skrimir: I do not understand at all.. why do the Hatari follow this one... and his power.. it is as crazy as the messenger of the goddess Micaiah's.
Avel nodded Avel: somehow i feel like were all bound together on it.. but i need to know for sure.. ask for your friend.. i do have something private i need to speak to only you two about.
Skrimir huffed Skrimir: humph! as if you can tell me anything about Ike.
Caineghis nodded Caineghis: he may know more than he seems. whats more i have my own suspicions. The we will take you with us to the capital but guarded.
Avel nodded Avel: I accept that.
Mink looked to him Mink: w-wait! Boss... wh-what about me!? I don't want to leave you!
Avel shook his head and looked to her Avel: trust me Mink, if i'm in trouble you'll smell it.
She blinked and nodded calmly Mink: I.. I understand. Then ill just go with hawk back to the castle!
Hawk sighed Hawk: ...oh joy..
Skrimir looked to Lethe Skrimir: Lethe, I want you to watch the two of them. Make sure they get there safely. The woods are dangerous with Ferals.
Lethe blinked then nodded Lethe: y-yes sir.. I will.. do my best.
Caineghis nodded Caineghis: let us go then. the two groups split up heading down the paths as Ceri, Skrimir and Avel went one way with Lethe, Hawk and Mink heading down another
