One of the nurses were able to get Vicki and bring her down so she could see everyone, and was far enough away from them so they did not get sicker either from this
"Marisol, I would hold you, but I can't darling" Merrill says to the fussy five-month-old who wanted her daddy cause she was not feeling very well either, or she needed that comfort only daddy could give
"Mind if I hold her Captain?" Gopher asks him
"Sure, go for it will give you more practice" Merrill says as he watches as his youngest be held by someone else
"Marisol daddy will hold you once he is all better, so until then will I do?" Gopher asks as he had a blanket on his shoulder as a comfort object to show her, he was friendly like daddy was
Marisol was not buying it Gopher was not her daddy
"Sweetheart I am over here close by" Merrill says as he was staying close to the bathroom
Merrill waved to her and made funny faces hoping it would make her smile, but nothing worked she wanted daddy to hold her since she was feeling yucky
"I hope I get over this soon it breaks my heart seeing my girls like this" Merrill says before heading into he bathroom once again
"Marisol daddy is really sick, and he doesn't want you to get even more sick then what you are" Doc says as he was trying to lighten the mood
Vicki was the only one that Marisol would go to cause everyone was a stranger in her eyes, and she knew Marisol would settle down for her as well
"I guess we will be back in two days to check on everyone to see how recovery is going" Doc says cause he hated to get sick from this
"Yeah, we have to be on hand with the health department cause they are coming to inspect the ship to see what cause this" Isaac says as Doc and him leave
"Hopefully by then I get released" Julie says as she was going to go back to her room with Gopher's help of course
"I know me, and my girls are in here for a while" Merrill says as he got sick again, and he was going to see what could work for Marisol since he could not be there for her since she wanted her daddy
"Thank goodness Julie and Gopher are bouncing back from this quicker then Captain, Vicki and Marisol" Isaac says as him and Doc left the hospital
"Yeah. and I'm glad Julie and Gopher will get released first then it will be a toss-up between Captain and his girls" Doc says as they headed to their apartments to rest for the next day
(Two days later)
Doc & Isaac got flowers for Julie, Vicki, and of course Marisol and they were able to get one of the captain's extra hats for Marisol, so she had it as a comfort object
"I can't wait to see the crew again after being on the ship for the past two days with the health department seeing what cause this and being there to show the cleaning crew around the whole ship and making sure every room was spotless and free of bacteria" Doc says as they headed into, the hospital
"I know what you mean and maybe just maybe Julie and Gopher get release today" Isaac says as they headed in to see their friends
"Fingers crossed and we only have to see the Captain and his girls" Doc says as they headed up
(Gopher's room)
"Hey guys come in I was just finishing up reading a story to Julie and the baby" Gopher says cause he got another book from the gift shop
"When are you two getting released?" Isaac ask them
"Tomorrow" Julie says as she covers up her tiny bump
"That is great news" Doc says as the Captain comes in with Marisol in his arms
"I see you two are feeling better" Isaac tells him
"Not all the way yet we still have a ways to go, and I am just glad they were able to put Marisol with me" Merrill says as he was playing with his youngest
"Where's Vicki?" Doc asks him
"She will be along they were checking her over to see how she was feeling, and she still felt crummy" Merrill says as he went to the restroom
"When is Marisol getting released?" Isaac asks him
"Tonight, and Marshall is coming to get her he is excited to come and pick her up and spend some alone time with her" Merrill says as Doc gave him a present
"Look Marisol you get to open your first present sweetie" Merrill says as he was going to open the gift for her
Marisol got a matching Captain's hat was her size, and Merrill got another hat that matches so they could be matching
"Marisol, you want daddy to put this on you sweetie?" he asks her
Marisol nods
"Here we go now you can look like daddy" Merrill says as he looks at her
"We have Vicki's, but we will give it to her later" Isaac says
Merrill was glad him and his girls were going to match somewhat, and he was happy when Vicki walked into the room
"Well, I still got it and I won't be released for a while" Vicki says as her sister reached out for her
"When are you getting released Merrill?" Doc asks him
"In three days, they want to make sure it is all gone before I go back on board then once I am released, I will be on a diet to keep it clear which won't be easy" Merrill says as he showed the group his scar he had
"You had surgery?" Doc asks him
"When I was in the bathroom once I first got here, I collapsed and they found out I was blocked on one side, and I want to change my ways for my girls" Merrill says to everyone
