Gopher & Julie are released
Gopher and Julie were happy that they were going to be going home next, and they could not wait to see Gretel and cuddle with their girl cause they had missed her so much while they were in the hospital recovering, and Julie was being monitored for her pregnancy as well, and baby Smith was right on schedule and they found out when baby Smith is going to be born, and Gopher was over the moon that the baby will be born on New Year's Eve
"I guess this New Year's Eve is going to be extra special for us" he says as he was packing the bags cause his mom was coming to get them from the hospital and take them home
"Any holiday will be special with our little family" Julie says as she came out of the bathroom and Gopher could spot her tiny bump already
"Hey little one you are going to be hearing three other people who will love you like mommy and daddy love you" he says as he was talking to Julie's stomach right now
"Plus, you get to hear your big sister as well, and we will help her get adjusted before you come little one" Julie says cause they had a lot to do before ethe baby is born like Lamaze classes, practicing the hospital drill on the ship, asking the captain if he would watch Gretel for them when Julie has the baby, work out the grandparents visiting schedule as well, so their schedule was getting busy already
"Oh yeah you will love Gretel she is the sweetest little girl, and she is already excited to meet you" he says as he was telling the baby about Gretel
Gopher signed the papers for them to be released, and they waited for the nurse to come and take them down to the lobby where his mom was going to be waiting for them
"Julie once we get back on the boat, I don't want you to lift a finger I want you to call me or the guys to come and help you if you need anything taken care of and Vicki can help too, I don't want you to go into labor early" he says as he hugs her close
"Okay I will take it easy, and I will rest between activities as well" she says cause she knew he was right she could go into labor at any time before the baby is due
'That's my girl" he says as they shared a kiss
"When the time comes where do you want me to deliver?" she asks him
"I want you to deliver on board the ship if possible if not one of the local hospitals will do" he says as he was thinking ahead
"Can we sign up for Lamaze classes while we are here cause I want to be prepared when the time comes?" she asks him
"Sure, and I want to practice the hospital drill a few thousand times before the real thing cause I hate to get caught with my guard down when the time comes for you to have the baby" he says as the nurse comes in so Gopher and Julie could leave the hospital
"Can we see Merrill before we leave?" she asks Gopher
"Sure, I don't mind seeing the captain before we leave, and see how he is doing and when he is going to be released as well cause I bet he is itching to get out and be with his girls cause I am missing Gretel like crazy right now" Gopher says as they headed to Merrill's room to see how he was doing and when he was going to be getting released as well
(Merrill's room)
"Hey guys come on in" Merrill says cause Milo brought Marisol by so she could see daddy cause she was not a happy girl until she saw daddy and daddy played with her as well
"I see Marisol is doing okay" Gopher tells him
"Yeah, she had some rocky night without Merrill there to comfort her, so Marshall was dressing up as Merrill to help her sleep and she actually bought it and she loves playing with my hair" Milo says to Gopher
"Plus, she has not been eating good either while I have been here recovering so Marshall dressed up as me again to help her eat, and it helps her get some food in her tiny system" Merrill says as he was cuddling Marisol cause she just had her belly full cause she ate good for her daddy
"The poor thing I hope Gretel has not had those problems while we were away" Julie says as Gopher's mom came in to see what was keeping Gopher and Julie and she was shocked to see they were with the captain in his room and visiting him
"Burl she has been an angel eating and sleeping like it's normal" Gopher's mom says to Gopher
"That's good mom I am glad Gretel has been doing okay while we were recovering" Gopher says as they were going to leave for real
"Plus, it's best you two get along cause I have met someone while staying here and we are going to go for a walk later" Merrill says to Gopher and Julie
"Who did you meet?" Julie asks as she came back to see who the captain met
"Someone named Emily" he says as he was thinking of her right now cause it had been just them, and he was going to have Marshall bring Marisol by so she could visit daddy and they did her bedtime routine
"We best be going as well Gretel is waiting for her cuddles" Gopher says to him
"I will see you guys when we board in a few days" Merrill says to him cause he was going to meet Emily for a snack before their walk
"Until then we will be cuddling with our girl and getting better" Julie says as they headed to Gopher's mom's house where they were going to stay as they were recovering from this illness
"Giving her extra cuddles before the baby comes: Gopher says as they left the room
"Oh yeah she gets extra cuddles for a while longer which is a good thing" Julie says as they were heading home
